: I think a trap champion is viable, but i think keeping them engaging is the most important thing when it comes to their design no matter what role they get, even if they are a support if u keep them engaging enough, such as they have the be within a certain range to trigger their traps or they have to fight to reduce their lengthy trap cooldowns. What would be interesting to see would be some nice utility traps that aren't always about hard CC.
Wait that sounds awesome, what if they have to hit a placed trap WITH AN ABILITY to actually set it off. That might provide some viable counter play (wind-up, animation que, missle speed,) while also making them engaging. That actually is an awesome idea.

I don't know about that particularly, That seems like it's just adding a bunch of visual clutter to otherwise clear moves and playing. Just to point out this too though, wolf BITES. Lamb's arrow is for those who accept death's embrace, wolf gnarls and chews people who refuse, so wolf can't be ranged in the sake of what you were describing visually, it doesn't make sense lore wise. lastly, due to the previous mentioning of wolf's attacks, W and E wouldn't be able to work the same, due to wolf needing to be melee range, If you want a {{champion:20}}, you'll have to make it, What would probably happen is kindred would become kinda like {{champion:76}}, is now, with ranged auto and a close all in burst. I always pictured Wolf to be an assassin anyway. It's not a bad idea to unite them to better suit the duality the champion was meant to represent, but that would require a form of rework on a new champion when we can focus on champions like {{champion:9}} and {{champion:106}}, who I'm still waiting for the new CRITTLE STICKS!!

I don't like not being able to tank. I don't mind if I get cc'd for 4 years if I can survive and waddle my way back to turret. {{champion:223}} God it was so fun taking scaling tank runes, scaling hp, scaling armor, scaling mr, and just be passive in lane unless the enemy misplays. Tanking felt good.
: You seem like you already know why you play League of Legends: you seem to enjoy certain champions -- how they exist and interact with each other, their stories and art, and their gameplay. It's perfectly fine to not always be playing the strongest champions! League of Legends is a constantly changing game anyway, so eventually the champion(s) you like might become the strongest champion(s) of a given patch (at which point you might be able to flex your mastery on the champion unlike the people who are just hopping onto your favorite champs just because they just became strong)! League of Legends is a competitive game and pushes ranked play opportunities extensively, but it does not force them on any player. It is perfectly fine to just play ARAM or Draft or Blind Queues and not attempt ranked. Thousands of players play this way every year and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. There are toxic players in League and they bring everyone's experience down. While this may be more common to see in League of Legends, such players exist in basically every game community. It's unfortunate, but it's how life is. Thankfully, League of Legends gives us the mute option for players, so we can simply mute players and just report them at the end of the game to be punished, if they are found to be deserving of it. I would suggest considering befriending some of the non-toxic players you will inevitably meet if you play enough. It's nice to get a few of them together and queue up as a five member queue! You don't have to worry about toxic players on your team that way, and it can create a really nice positive environment to play League of Legends in. =) Maybe this isn't the answer you wanted, but I'm not sure how to answer this better at the current moment. Perhaps this is at least a good start though! May you have fun out there on the Rift, and if nothing else thank you for giving League of Legends some of your time, even if it turns out to not be the game for you (which doesn't sound like it's the case). {{sticker:sg-ahri-2}}
Took a long break, enjoying teamfight tactics. Just saw your comment, it's not so much the characters or the toxic people, it's the direction of the game relying on being the most competitive, brutal, and heartless player you can be. It's like, all the developers favorite champion was {{champion:17}} , and decided the under-handed approach was the way all people had to play league. Winning sometimes feels wrong, because there's no even match ups anymore, it's either, you lose so hard early you can't recover, you didn't win fast enough, or you made a bet with a hyper late game comp that can win. It's not mind games, it's not head to head combat anymore, it's literally you push whatever advantage you can and do it until they lose, or cover your disadvantages until you win. That's what's heart breaking. I like Tft, more champions, more dink-a-ling-ing, more 'well shucks'.

You have your moral. I can respect that, but I think it may be interfering with the interest of your team (to win). I'm sorry, but my opponents' feelings and need to have fun do not trump my obligations to my team to do whatever it takes to win (obviously by not breaking the Summoner's Codes). It is actually the official rules. Play with the intention to win. If that means the bot lane get ganked and abused over and over until they cry, then so be it. That is my obligations to my team. If you won't abuse an obvious weak lane because it might hurt the enemy feelings, then you are not playing with the intention to win and is breaking the rules.
I love how quickly you turn to assume I'm something like a {{champion:16}} who just doesn't actually want to q the enemies because it would hurt them. I also LOVE how you say do whatever It takes to win, then ignore the enjoy yourself, but not at anyone else's expense. You have discreetly told me you're the type to quickly judge and call out something and I do NOT want anyone like you in my game. You're a problem, nothing major or needs attention but you are. I love the new additions, I don't like climbing and the focus on winning. The snowball, the nonsense of entitlement, the constant bickering. I LOVE the champions. The LORE, the stories. Granted, will forever miss {{champion:28}} , cool punk rock turned into {{champion:103}} without the fur. I loved the releases with stories and movies ({{champion:497}} {{champion:498}} {{champion:350}} ) and the new stories, {{champion:150}} {{champion:107}}. I love the colors and design and the artistic aspiration. I used to like the gameplay, but being literally refuted to be allowed to play your character is HORRIBLE. : Free game that my friends and I have owned long enough we have pretty much every champ, I run with a few aram groups when I feel like playing without dealing with 20 minutes of a lane losing so hard I can feel our nexus preemptively detonating, lack of vision, etc. It's fun enough when you play those fun gamemodes like ARAM OfA URF and the like, but loses pretty much all appeal when draft/ranked comes around and I have to figure out who I want to play in what position, who I don't want to play against, roaming, cs'ing, trading, harrassing, warding, tracking jungle, I'm here to have fun and play a game with friends, not babysit people who are gonna tilt/throw games
I typically do that in all games, I never once had the liberty to not have to track all of that, focus on gameplay, and on top of that, I try to break up arguments with randoms over who's worst. I'll be the worst, just stop! {{sticker:sg-miss-fortune}} I gravitate and tend to like people who played for a lot longer than I have, they seem much less volatile. It's not like I don't like it, I adore so many champions and so much of what's put into it. The game suddenly started leaping to points that made it change to something more simplistic than what It was when I started, which wasn't even that long ago. I just wanted to talk about it and see if anyone had insight. Phantom memory of enjoyment. The frustration of losing something, even if it was never yours to lose. That's what I have now. I actually took a month off of league and came back and instantly came back to hating everything from the limits of survivability to the spam pings and the meta team compositions and top picks.

idk about {{item:3151}} at this point. I'd put more stock in {{item:3165}}, especially with tanks being like {{champion:75}} , {{champion:122}} , and {{champion:106}} while off tanks tend to take a lot of lifesteal and other healing. I agree, just wanted to question the effectiveness of liandry as just an anti-tank item. {{champion:105}} {{champion:7}} {{champion:99}} might just be better off with another strong ap item and {{champion:63}} {{champion:69}} {{champion:115}} might just be better off with a {{item:3116}} and a {{item:3135}}

I'd love it if the biggest highlight wasn't the j4 diving and killing the varus botlane. Like, I can view any BRONZE video and see the exact same thing. fast brutal hard hitting tank with cc vs immobile ad carry that hasn't scaled. : Ummm I don't think you know what strategy is if you don't think %hp true damage should be in the game. If the enemy team has a fiora on it picking a tank will be less effective, if the enemy has a lot of tanks picking vayne as a adc will be effective, and if you pick a vayne the enemy can pick cait so enemy will have the better team fight but your adc can kill the tanks faster, Those are examples of strategy there are gives and takes. Don't lie and say there is no strategy when there is a lot. Also you can build against it both {{item:3110}} ,{{item:3075}} are tank items that counter it and if your not a tank then it is basically a wasted stat on you.
{{item:3110}} idc about thornmail, who but pyke would actually build this or have a PLAN to build it at some point in the game!? I firmly believe that at the moment, it's much more effective to stack excessive hp than it is to stack armor or mr. I give it to {{champion:14}} and {{champion:31}} for being monsterous tanks.

: Fiora, as a champion got designed to be a grand duelist who basically should win duels vs anybody after getting some items, but her weakness is basically being truly useless in teamfights. I won't argue if design like that is good or not, but that is point of her. Fiora got her true %hp damage not because devs thought "lets just put it here and see how it works lul". It's here so she could melt tanks and squishies at similar rate, without being too skewed for any of them. Let's imagine that Fiora gets on vitals: 1. **very big ad scaling**: Fiora burst squishies hard and is unable to do much vs tanky characters (not even true tanks) without both {{item:3071}} and{{item:3036}}, but as a melee squishy bruiser she can't afford to buy both of these 2. ** Physical %Max Hp**: Fiora can't deal well with squishies unless her ratio is overtuned, and her tank melting isn't bad, but it isn't on par with champions like Kog or even Tristana. 3. **Magical %Max Hp**: Fiora work great in early, but after some time in game she starts to suck dramatically due to lack of avalaible MPen for her. Basically a reverse to her current power curve, which shouldn't happen 4. **True damage with Ad scaling**: Fiora burst squishies very very hard while working good vs armor tanks (Malph, Rammus) but being bad vs HP/Sustain tanks (Sion, Maokai). 5. **Physical %max Hp with bonus % armor pen**: would work very similar as current Fiora tbh, but her numbers would need be bigger (due to loss of true damage) so she would kill squishies even better. So, the point is that Fiora %max hp true damage exists not because devs are monkeys, it exists so her dueling potential is similar against every kind of opponent, which is 101 of her intended design. Im not saying that im fan of %max hp true damage, but any other option would either require BIG overbuffing in order to fulfill her fantasy, or she would be champion with much more weaknesses than strengths.
I just wanna say this is well written and explains things well from an actual game building perspective. That's all. Props for a job well done.

If we want to get technical about it, his actual numerical attack range is 350. That's 150 less than Kindred, or ADC's like Sivir or Lucian. Urgot mostly got the additional range on you via the Shotgun-Legs he procced (they deal damage in cone-shaped splashes, after all). In addition, the W does damage on its own, it just procs the passive legs for additional boosts. You actually could have danced outside his range I believe, as his W still attacks at that same AA Range of 350. He must have hit you with some other ability, as if the W followed you, then he must have applied his W's passive, "Purge". Hitting a champion with abilities other than his W marks them with "Purge", a passive effect that causes his W to prioritize that target marked with it. (If you don't believe me, you can go look at his ability descriptions on the LOL Wiki, which are taken directly from the game itself.) So, simply put, he played the encounter right for the most part.
I feel cheated, but that's definitely something that seems reasonable to a fault. I swear I dodged it all, but I can't really be certain without double checking. With all due respect, him killing you WAS just him doing his job. He's a Juggernaut after all. In terms of how, he probably managed to time his shield right to absorb most your damage, then since most Urgot players have {{item:1055}} to make up for the lack of HP-Recover/Sustain via Heals, he Life-stealed back the HP after the shield wore off. I realize since I wasn't in the game, I don't know EXACTLY how it went, but that's just my guess.

: 1st: None of those items make it take longer for a character to cast their ult... 2nd: Was thinking item could be use to counter warmongers and stuff like that.. There are tons of items that give a lot of health regain specifically... Grievous wounds doesn't exactly do that... Grievous wounds kinda works like a weak Darius passive... Killing someone when they are trying to walk away.. 3rd: I think life steal and health regain are different... Stealing someones life and just regaining health from nowhere seem pretty different.. Like 80-90% of akalis and kats just get a hextec gunblade cause without it they die quick... Would probably need to be a different item to stop lifesteal... Chogath Garen and Nas get a bunch of health... With that option of also adding health regain to that, they can get kinda get op.
well again with grievous wounds affecting cho grath, but do realize that there isn't too much of a way to drop garen's regen passive, it's not active if he's in combat, so as long as he dips well away from you he's going to gain that much hp, as well as anything that uses warmongs. Grevious wounds drops all healing by 40% it's not like ignite, though ignite applies it, it deals no damage, just drops healing. there's also {{champion:266}} and his mutilate that also drops shielding effects as well as healing.

hey? Lame ass over here, why is stoneplate considered so bad? doesn't it kinda stack with wukong passive? 80 MR and Armor at point of engage WITHOUT pressing it is still rather defensive, you lose damage only when using the ability. I can understand if you want to go pure assassin, but if a game goes on long enough, and there's not too much need for more damage, wouldn't be better to not have the possibility of being popped moments after using your engage? Or is this more along the lines of just having a GA, and just spamming w to get away scotch free instead of remaining in a fight a few moments longer for something like Black cleaver to shred or continuously hold focus?

{{champion:36}} This is the only champ that would make use of that. {{item:3165}} is better because it drops ALL HEALING EFFECTS. {{item:3123}} make a new item with this for bruisers who aren't trying to kill tanks. or assassins who want to kill lifesteal or spellvamp squishies, this will increase options in game for a lot of champions. Any ap scaling champ can make an effect of {{item:3165}} only ad carries and the occasional assassin vs many tanks can make use with {{item:3033}}

That is a peculiar question. It acts as if you completely understand a statement that's incredibly generalized. Nobody likes being looked down on. No mute can undo the actual statement, just prevent further ones. There are good people in league, you just have to dig through all the 'holy fuck that's how people act?!' types normally. I'll never trade the opinion. Be nice to your allies, whether they carry you or not, you need them as much as they need you... in the case of loving the support role... I NEED THEM A LOT MORE! lol. I like jungle and AD Carry too though.

PLEASE don't nerf ADC again, There are so many champs who DON'T build crit as often because it's not effective. AND don't stack that with {{item:3143}} I want to be able to at least kite the damn tank and leave SOME impact.

Typically, that's the problem I have though. I'm just a snowflake when it comes to people straight up bashing my performance after making an obvious mistake myself. {{sticker:sg-soraka}} The dead are easy to deal with, it's the living that are scary.

*tenacity sweety A lot of runes that grant tenacity give up damage and tank for those stacking effects, I think it should be more punishing to take those routes rather than just empowering morgana's long ass q.
