: I've been thinking this since they started with the blue essence format. - You used to be able to combine three champion shards to get a champion you didn't own - When honor rewards first came around, the rewards weren't many but you got them hella faster. Honor mostly gives you key fragments now. - So you get key fragments a lot faster than you used to. When you have 8 keys pilling up, makes you really wanna get rid of them, y'know? ;) - Masterwork chests also weren't a thing, regular chests use to give out a steady amount of skins, now they mostly give out champions. - Prestige points, tokens, fake "events"... - TFT came out already monetized. They said it took a lot of resources to create the game mode but that's a load of bs, it was mostly them trying to monetize it to perfection. The models, animations, voice lines and special effects were mostly there already, as for the coding...it's auto-chess... They're getting away with this because "it's a free game". But to me that's a bs simplified argument. It doesn't change the fact that they've made it to psychologically entice you and rigged it so you can spend all your money...sure you're not FORCED to spend any but is it's nature not inherently malicious and manipulative? Do we want this sort of thing to be in our favorite games? {{sticker:zombie-brand-clap}}

How is this legal?(sidenote:i feel this way about all RANDOM microtransactions)
: Not going to lie, the whole "blame CertainlyT" thing seems kind of odd, since for any of his designs to make it to release an entire team of people has to check them off and be like "I want this in the game".
Because he is a clear cut and very strong example of the argument against mobility(and damage with cc, shielding and/or healing maybe a stealth and one if not more of those abilities is low cd) being made despite the whole team signing it off. (who are also faceless. can you name them specifically cause i sure would like to know who thinks his bs is ok.) This trend is depressing as all hell and not fun in the slightest imo.

: yup pre season 6. started playing in season 2 and even tho i will got my ass handed to me in season 4 cause i was only gold back then and in normals i played vs diamonds, i still had a lot of fun. season 5 was also fine. but then the overloaded champs, hypermobile true damage max hp% bullshit came. now the game isnt fun anymore at all.
yes this is it exactly. i started mid season 2 and everything was cool and enjoyable till preseason 6 started and damage began ramping up. older kits noticeably started to feel like less.
SSW Talon (EUW)
: Old Talon blink was disgusting and it was what kept his entire kit gated New Talons entire pattern is way better than old Talons play pattern But yea, you bring up good points, also what would be the point of getting to 5/0 on Talon, LB, Rengar, Kha, Zed etc if they still didn't wipe out a carry? I dunno what other people on the boards expect.
Old talon had an easier time reaching targets(with damage amp and silence/slow), and that made him bad for game health but new talon can escape far far better than old talon ever could with his near infinite wall hops and that makes him much more frustrating to play against. The problem here is also that old talon when fed could easily wipe out squishies but tanks didnt go down near as easily back then, new talon however when ahead can wipe out just about everything with impunity (especially when played well) not just the squishies(and with far higher mobility to boot).
Bumblerr (NA)
: I think riot was just trying to find a way to make the game more accessible. They are a company after all and reeling in more players and keeping them playing will end up making them more successful. Yes, they dumbed the old system down, not because they think new players are stupid, but because you can get into a game a lot faster without having to look up which runes go best with whatever champ. Plus, it's kinda discouraging to look up a full rune page and realize how much time you'll have to invest to at least be at a baseline competitive level. That's also exactly why, around the same time, they made leveling pre 30 so much faster and with more rewards. It keeps players invested and doesn't feel so grindy when you get something new and shiny every few games A game that's easier to jump into just has a higher retention rate which will keep riot profitable longer. Not saying it's cool for older players but it's what they did.
The problem here is a rune setup is so much more impactful most players are MORE reliant on rune setups encouraging cookie cutter builds even more. Your other point is accurate, but is something that could've easily been fixed by just giving us all runes like they do now.
: That's what the second set of percentages are, games with at least one toxic player. Games with two or more still only counted once there.
Its literally impossible for him to have run into "medium toxicity" half the time (49%) while only 6% of the players are toxic. 6% = 6 out of 100 players which is a less than one per game average. (10/100 or 1/10). this is why x/100 is so important for this data and his data is meaningless without it(everything needs context).
: Should be higher. I used to keep statistics of toxicity in ranked, and the toxicity rates I recorded were higher than that. Out of 100 sample games in 2017, the rates were: 13% total toxicity (including minor offences such as "gg ez" and report-calling) 6% for medium levels of toxicity and up 2.5% for high levels of toxicity 1.8% for leavers/ragequits/trolls (Each percentage includes the percentage for the group(s) lower down the list.) (Statistics are for the number of toxic players encountered out of a sample size of 100 games / 1,000 players. The actual percentages of games with at least one toxic player is much higher, at ~73% for all toxicity, ~49% for medium levels of toxicity, and ~22% for high toxicity.) (Edit: Come to think of it, that's a sample size of 901 players, not 1,000 players. I was in every one of those games. Excluding me, all of the toxicity figures above should be increased by ~11%. So, closer to: 14.5% total toxicity, 6.5% medium, 2.7% high, 2% trolls.)
you're missing X/100 for toxic games, not just players. if two people get into an argument and rile each other up that's still only one game ruined (and i bet sometimes even more joined in).
: ~~Swastika for allies then?~~
a mirrored swastika, its a symbol of peace and prosperity while the one hitler used was a symbol of victory( been awhile since i read up on it but i think so) and anything remotely shaped like it is called a swastika whether its actually one or not

He was streamlined. None of his abilities conflicted with one another; now they all do.
i would disagree, vlad has always been clunky with his long ass q cast (so many deaths mid naimation TT_TT) and stutter stepping with every ability cast and self silence on ult cast. however you are correct in that he now feels much clunkier to play and imo just overall really shitty compared to old vlad with less damage, less tank, and less healing except for small windows.
: I laughed at this post until I read in the comments you were playing a 4v5 and "having fun with the enemy team." As someone with 4k+ league games played, no 4v5 is fun for either side. End the game, move on. Subjecting a random to you dragging it out and then bragging that you got him banned after upsetting him should probably result in some sort of punishment on your ends, even if the guy is generally toxic (how else would he get a 14 day ban?) But seriously. "Having fun" in a grief game, really?
The way i read into it this was more talking/goofing around with the other team than just dragging a 4v5 out but thats the problem with text.
: What's up with Juggernauts? Specifically Garen
very toxic jinx hes not disputing the items being bought hes disputing your math including both of them at the same time. if he is getting both ms boosts then it doesn't matter at that point because hes in range
Paress (EUW)
: Whenever I hear a Riven crying about Juggernauts
for the record "Also, if Riven uses her mobility to get out of a gank and recall, that's 300 gold from a kill you just denied her, as well as 1 maybe 2 waves of minions worth of experience and gold." you just said if she isnt gank she going to kill, so how is it balanced for a champion to force a 2v1 situation or snowball out of control
