Hi Meddler, I read that you guys are considering some jungle changes for around pre-season. Can you expand on that a bit?
: Hey Meddler, I have tested the Wukong changes, and so far this is my opinion on the changes: 1) I don't see how Wukong is being shifted to become a Bruiser when the changes are shifting him from Caster to AA dependent. 2) Survivability problem is still there. and it's still dependent on 3+ enemies, which makes him less of a bruiser in lane, even in teamfight, stats doesn't make a bruiser anymore, rather, shields/heals/AOE sustain [look {{champion:92}} {{champion:266}} {{champion:122}} {{champion:420}} etc] + the fact that Penetration exists makes the passive even weaker. 3) Heal is terrible, my opinion [we dont need heal, we want something that can block % of damage for lane trading], or a shield. 4)I don't consider Wu a trickster: 1. 1 Clone is not enough, and the "S" stop command doesnt give you much potential to outplay anyone specially if they can AOE mash their keyboards to deny the outplay [{{champion:266}} {{champion:92}} ..] 2. Tricksters are assasins, with huge outplay potential and mobility [check{{champion:7}} an dash 2 times, and go back to same spot 2 times{{champion:35}} stealth that works as gap closer/dodge skillshots, W can trap/trick enemies, R can outplay any incoming damage] 5) Wu lost a lot of damage, and doens't have any source of reliable [hybrid damage/true damage/ % damage] that would allow him to sacrifice building damage and go for defensive items, even with the 20% armor shred on his Passive, its still bad, since he lost 10% comparing to the previous Q 6) Now you save W in hopes you deal damage in case someone tried to duel, cant work as an assassin or you will lose high damage output, cant be sneaky anymore [part of why he's not a trickster atm] 7) No CC at all, you cant contest with bruisers who can {{champion:92}} stun-knockyou up, {{champion:266}} many knockups and zoning spell, {{champion:24}} deny AA damage which W is heavily reliable on right now, and stun you, etc, All what wu got now is 1 second knockup on lvl 6. Do you know exactly what might change in Wukong's kit next week? and is there a possibility to shift wukong from bruiser to assassin and make him more like a trickster, by voting at least.
Don't say 'we'. Lot of us Wukong mains love the changes so don't group us all with you.

Wukong is ranked 35th in the top Lane on op.gg. His winrate trend was at #1 for a bit but with a .7% playrate, it really just means his onetricks had a good day. For jungle he is ranked 34, which puts him at the lowest of all regular junglers and above only skarner, sejuani, and fiddlesticks,all who need buffs btw.

: Jungle clear speeds, his E is an ASpeed steroid already and it helps him waveclear in top, especially once he has Tiamat. After being gutted into the ground and hit a few more times with nerf bats for good measure, he needs buffs like that. An Ult CD reduction like what Rengar's getting would be good too!

He doesn't need faster clear speed or tiamat. After you get the skirmishers or stalkers, his clear is just fine and healthy with w while the jungle item regenerates mana fast enough for a gank. Right now the issue is that he can't kill anyone fast enough and is too squshy to fight for a extended periods of time. If the issue was his jungle clear, every Wukong main would already be switching to rushing tiamat instead of finishing the jungle item. Wukong might have been fine if they just nerfed the damage masteries which should have been done a LONG time ago, but instead they nerfed his Q, his E and the damage masteries. All in the span of 3 patches where Wukong was practically never touched before. I don't want to shit on the balance team but how could anyone look at these nerfs all together and think, "Oh ya this should work fine". It's a joke, and an even bigger joke because these buffs do nothing for top and mid Wukong.

Why give AS to Wukong? His dualing potential is absolutely abysmal compared to any other dualist. He is an AGRESSIVE DIVER! The whole core of Wukong is that he has one of the fastest 3-hit combos followed by his W or ult to back off. Attack speed is pointless to a champ who doesn't want a prolonged fight. If you want this champion to be a dualist then how about actually reworking him with a better passive, and a kit that doesn't contradict itself by having an ability that gives AS but an ult that doesn't let him auto attack?

Hi Meddler, if I were to redesign Banner, I'd make it so that it only has a passive of slightly increasing the damage of nearby minions. Just enough so that if two waves of minions we're fighting, the Bannered minions would win 100% without laner intervention while still having a few casualties. This would be good for tanks who mainly deal damage to turrets through minions or need help pushing waves in to teleport safely.

Hi Meddler, my concern about bringing non-marksman champions into the bot lane is that it will result in waveclear mages taking over the lane entirely. I can't imagine liking a meta where people take Azir bot because he can safely push any adc marksman in and then poke them underneath their turret forcing them to back constantly? How are you guys looking to handle these kinds of situations?

The only thing that I would change is keep his ult the same. Pantheon's ult is already a strong ability, able to get behind enemies and cut them off from retreat which is what his ult is used for. If you add the ability to pick which person to land on you make it completely overpowered. It's one of the few weaknesses of the ult that he can be stun locked when he lands but it is also one of its advantages. It forces champions with roots and stuns to save their abilities for when Pantheon ults which means they are left with a decision to either use them early on other members of the team or on Pantheon. Stuns and roots NEED to be a strong weakness especially now that you want him to be a manaless fighter with a gap closer (Riven) with a passive that ignores enemy attacks and abilities like Fiora's W.

I have an idea for a keystone. **Monster Repellent**: The first auto attack or ability on any jungle creature strikes it with fear for 1 second. This will help give junglers a really healthy jungle clear.

Have you considered 8 bans as sort of that perfect middle ground?
: Not all champions have splash animation. I believe Lulu was the first to get her own loading screen so basically everyone released after her as well as people who have been reworked since (Sion, Poppy, etc). That's a cool idea but I'm pretty sure it would require a lot more work on their part. I guess another thing that might be cool is if we had the option to display the splash arts for champions we have level 7 for, or maybe even higher levels in the future. Just my 2 cents.
True. How about if we can choose to have the background change on rotation for all champions past mastery lvl 5?
