Doctors are paid professionals that can get both themselves and the hospital they work for sued. Meanwhile, League is an online game. Additionally, why the fuck do they need to be public? : "The major rule of thumb is though, no one team may have more than 1 player who's currently doing above my tier. Preferably, only one between both teams. Proving you're better than the other silver player on the team means nothing." But the other silver players is playing above their tier so that means something. It doesn't make sense to for you to be a special one playing above your tier, then disregard other people playing above their tier. Not to mention, this let's people get boosted way faster by duoing with a smurf, win three-five games, then play above their tier for huge mmr gains.
I should have probably mentioned this would only work for /SOLO/ q. Not duo. As you did mention, it'd be broken in the case of duos. I do understand the other players would be above their tier, but they haven't proven if it's luck or skill quite yet. The theory is if you toss a silver player into a (for extreme example) diamond game, where the other 9 are diamond, there's no way in hell you should win. If you do, it should just assume you're going to slowly work your way up the system anyways, and reward you heavily.

: Patch 8.13 notes
I'm a little confused & annoyed. I don't understand the Singed nerfs (or why taking a rune that interacts with his ult is bad to let it interact). I have mastery 7 with singed. I've played many, many games. I use every strat possible to get a lead with him. I then see a video showing darius top, and realize, the same issue I had with Twitch, weak early games get abused and have no incentive. I picked up Darius and even though I have no knowledge of the champ or builds, I'm DOMINATING lanes, and I'm more viable late game. So to see a Singed nerf show up... I question what thought was in the head of the balance team aside from he's annoying and someone played against him.

: He won't fall out of meta unless the other adcs are buffed or he is nerfed or some items are changed. Twitch has a 56 percent win rate, which means its the champion, not the players. http://champion.gg/champion/Twitch/ADC
What I mean to say is the players who always played him through his sub-par position now are REALLY good on a champion that now is on par with other ADCs and jungles. This mixed with the point that most people don't understand how to properly ward, and that he is and always will be really gross if fed, means his win rate is going to spike for a period of time. Example: I win more games on Lucian than Twitch (or did, at least), and carried easier, farmed better, etc. So a gold 5 twitch main may be gold 1 with him not being underpowered anymore. Not to say he may not need a nerf, but I have 1/100th of the games played with Lucian than I do Twitch, so I just feel like I should perform just as well if not better with Twitch.

: Why is Twitch is only getting mana nerfs?
Twitch mains who played him for a long time honestly got used to playing an underpowered ADC. I bet in some time it'll drop a decent bit tbh. Maybe I'm wrong, but this is coming from a 3 year twitch main here. I know how to abuse his strengths, and enemies don't play against it.
: *puts on glasses* actually, a knock up is the best cc because you cannot qss or cleanse it and in most cases they are fairly easy to hit whereas death is just caused by taking more damage than you have hit points, not hindering your movement.
You can QSS and flash a knockup, it allows you full regained control.
: Got Permabanned. Just got back from 2 week ban. Had a bad day, shouldn't have played.
Glad you're banned. If a game makes you rage, maybe you should find a game that you're happier playing. If you're having a bad day, mute your whole team and yell at your screen. Taking it out on others just makes their day bad too while trying to enjoy the game correctly. So no, you shouldn't be excused. No matter the excuse. My mother died and car got totaled in the same day, still I remained a decent human and didn't dump it on others. Riot is seriously too nice about this stuff. When they treat someone like "oh, you would be an exception, buuuuut then everyone would be upset" then they don't realize what they're doing wrong. Go play CoD.

: You might not have seen yet, but on the PBE his stealth is currently 10/11/12/13/14; so it's pretty nice. Just don't think it makes up for the amount he is losing. And one part which we can't even really say is a nerf to his strength is the loss of those mind games. They are some of the most fun times I've had on Twitch. Run one direction, escape in the other as 4 people charge the opposite direction. Or the classic circle around that 10% health guy recalling before you kill him. These are the little things that I'm not sure Riot have even considered very heavily when making this change. Not enough Twitch love from Riot :(

Not enough Twitch love from Riot :( I haven't, because my issue runs down to the core of removing stealth being such a huge change to him as a character and a playstyle I just can't accept that. I can say a loss to his strength is the mind games, because every high elo player pushes the idea that mental games are more important than anything else. Same as your mental state. I enjoy league because it's a battle of the mind, any step in the opposite direction I see as a loss to a great game.
: Great to finally find another player who _actually_ cares/ noticed the Twitch changes. Sure, we've got the big 4 and a bunch of minor updates; but for Twitch, this change is MASSIVE. Honestly, I don't think they can change his stealth to invisibility without keeping it almost exactly the same as it is now. Invisibility is supposed to be in-combat, small time stealth; but Twitch has always needed/ used the long duration. With this in mind, camo was the only way to go. Unfortunately, like you've mentioned, he's losing quite a bit of what makes him Twitch due to this change. Personally, he just needs a lot more compensation for it to be a fair nerf. For starters; the -10% movement speed during Ambush needs to be bumped back up to 20%. Then work with either the 30% or possibly 40% movement buff towards champions. Right now Twitch works by sneaking either directly on top of the target (impossible now) or behind the target to block off their escape (significantly more difficult with camo), so he definitely needs a more effective way to get to people which we're losing. After that, I'd highly suggest reverting the 20% attack speed nerf on his Q or compensate him in some other way. Right now, with these changes, it looks like Riot were under the impression that Twitch was extremely overpowered and needed immediate large nerfs to control him (which I'm unsure of whether or not they believe this). Worst part is that because of Twitch's unpopularity I probably won't get many discussions or even some thought processes from Riot to confirm any of this/ get it looked at. Right now Twitch is my all time favorite champion. I could play this rat until the end of league and not get bored; so to see him being hit this hard is just heartbreaking...

I could play this rat until the end of league and not get bored; so to see him being hit this hard is just heartbreaking... As far as caring, I really do. It's one of the only champs I can consistently play and have fun with. Shaco feels... too unreliable, and he's one of the few mental game champs that exist. As far as the needing a "long" stealth, it's at max 10 seconds. That isn't long. It's bordering the length, but considering it has to be timed right, I don't think it's long. I think all the suggested ways to compensate are viable. Honestly numbers can be so strange that I can't even speak on behalf of what would be balanced, but the point remains the same, this change is going to completely change the champion and playstyle. It isn't a healthy change, because it's not the issue. His major issue is the ability to get a few kills and snowball, which is directly linked to the absurdly broken item Hurricane. If they removed on hit effects from that, it'd be fine. They also should have 3 kinds of stealth. He should be detectable by control wards, but not by champions.
: The problem with Twitch having his "invisibility" removed.

: Why League of Legends Isn't As Awesome As It Could Be - @Morello, @Meddler
I'm a very mechanic orientated player. I only really do PVP in every game I've ever played, and I have never once read lore. With that being said, your video does make perfect sense, and I do support you. Because while I never really pay attention to it on the surface, certain things just feel clunky. Not only that, but they are hard to explain to new players when I try to get a friend to play. I think certain aspects you spoke of are a reach, such as Zyra. She feels balanced, well thought out, fits her design, has counterplay, and I enjoy playing her from time to time. Though things like Vi's ult have always been something I've complained about. I just don't think it's right to give a champion a point and click, long range, high damage, CC, that can CC everyone on the way, and absolutely cannot be stopped. I also think things like directly requiring an item to counterplay a champion are very upsetting. Quicksilver sash is worth building if you're versus a Zed, and full AD enemy team, even though it's a MR item. With all that said, I fully support your statements. I'd like to see Riot come to some sort of solution. One that immediately comes to mind is a third server. Just like the PBE is now, and start with 10 champions, and work your way up, redesigning, and balancing every champion put in. Once you finally catch up with the games current state, just merge with the current PBE. Depending on how easy it'd be to keep things balanced, I think it'd be worth implementing all changes made right after testing, so it wouldn't turn into one huge patch that changed tons of things and current players became confused or overwhelmed with so much changing at once. I do think this game has the potential to last a very, very long time and continue to make money, but sometimes to secure a good future, you have to fix your past.

I... think this is an amazing idea. However, I think they should actually fight. Nothing fancy. Just baron aggros to the rift herald. Then 20 min barons would be interesting to contend over. Basically you'd have a tank if nobody hit rift herald.
: Alistar jungle.
Ali sustains the jungle almost full health and mana the whole time. Your damage is actually pretty decent in a 1v1, considering the CC you have. If you use it to counter most people's abilities, you can outplay people pretty hard. Your clear times are actually pretty low as well. Seriously, give my build a shot. I'm just trying to play around with the idea of how to make it a bit stronger. I know AP ali is a thing, but I prefer this way, due to the sustain from BOTRK mixed with his ult, and the damage it adds to your auto's, it all just compliments the style really nicely. By mid-game I can normally w-q-r and assassinate an enemy carry.

All in a day's work, eh? > Even if that doesn't work I can still reward myself to custom games, whoooopeeeee. > Ostracizing others isn't a good way to foster a healthy community. > I know, I know. I may be sounding a bit offensive. That's what I was going for. > It's like you're talking about people without knowing their situation. > Example: The Pregnant Teen > The Child Molester > It doesn't matter if they actually did wrong or not. If you label them, that's what they become. I'm not saying that they'll change into what they've been labeled, but more like they can't escape it even if they aren't. While it's wrong to say it's your fault for living in that location, it's 9X as wrong to tell 9 other people their match is ruined because you'd like to play even though you know there's a strong chance they'll get the short end of the stick. What do you get? Nothing. You go make tea. Eat some food. They try to carry a 4v5.

: EU west was a broken server they probably whipped out of left over hardware parts they had catching dust and paid for a useless pipeline to carry the connections. There are excellent carriers in the east and with the right hardware, what happened on EU west would never happen here, they just like to make excuses.

This is what I'm currently thinking. Plus piggybacking on Latin America would work anyways. Just add a server software in English to it.
