: A few things from this low-bronze support main. 1. If they remove autofill, everyone's going to be here crying about queue lengths. 2. I wish they'd make autofill suck more so that people knew what it was like to be a real support - if only to give us credit. I'm telling you I main support, have supports up the wazu (only missing Tahm) and routinely give my team/adc the option of "do you want a tank or mage" based on the enemies comp. (i.e. if I have flexibility to pick, i'll give you a choice in the type). Here's what I get for it: a. Do you have [CHAMP X] b. "no, don't play them, they suck, play [champ i hate playing] c. "no dude, jinx NEEDS [support I don't like] The issue here is this. Support's often seen as the weakest link (esp. when they're a SS-free Brand taking your kills) and I'm here telling you I do this all day. My nautilus has a +50% win rate, my Zilean is strong, and my Braum owns team fights. And yet - _and yet_ - I have moron ADCs telling me what I need to do to win. They don't know, they throw tantrums, and they cost matches. So frankly I'm glad people are forced to blow an hour of their lives doing something they hate. It's karmic retribution for the suffering you put on others.

Kat is the only one of those champs that has the potential to get in and out with a blink. Ekko can get in with a blink and LB can get out with a blink.

I think zed's problem is his reliability. It doesn't matter how poorly he's done, he can one shot the adc. Okay... fine he can one shot the adc, but then he can also just instantly blink out of the middle of your team. Without his ult, he isn't that much of a threat, but the fact that he can so reliably remove the main damage source of the opposing team is very frustrating to play against. Not to mention his early game strength.

This will vary game to game on how helpful it is. * Nothing prevents you from selling it later and getting {{item:3100}} for more damage. Like I said, I haven't had time to try it, but I'm pretty sure there are people continuing to use it for these reasons. I'm sure there are people who didn't read the patch notes too, but I bet for a patch or two at least we'll see informed players trying to find out which AP Ezreal Sheen item they like best.

: Her damage did get a buff. Her spiders now deal 10/20/30/40+(0.15xAP) magic damage up from 10/20/30/40+(0.10xAP) physical damage. Obviously the higher ratio is a straight buff but it's also better for Elise now that her spiders deal magic damage since you itemise for M/Pen and most champs and all jungle camps will have more armour than MR in most situations.
But the real buff is that E is a one point wonder. 1.6 second long range stun, means you can max QW for the extra damage, while still having the same utility.

So there was no decision-making here... you just press W whenever you're auto-ing the enemy for an extended period of time. So really, her W active does only 1 thing: * You duel better for 6 seconds Grievous Wounds isn't a decision, it's just there. Almost invisible power in a lot of cases. Some exceptions of course (looking at you, Volibear!), but the majority of the time you just aren't deciding between "optimal timing for attack speed steroid" and "optimal timing for grievous wounds" - they're the same. With the update, that's no longer the case. There are actually 2 distinct parts now: * Increase Attack Speed, and * Reset passive (which is also better now) And these are indeed 2 unique situations. Sometimes, they'll be competing with one another - in lane, if I activate W to chase/trade, I won't be able to use it to reset my passive when minion aggro knocks it off. But knowing when to use each mode adds a skill element that was really lacking before. What's more, a more skilled MF will find ways to double up (see what I did there?) on the W benefits. Rather than needing to pick one or the other, you can actually have both, if you set up the right situations. Again, more reward for champ skill. Now, just introducing these probably isn't worth it without adding some power elsewhere. But her Q and Passive are also better, and I consider E stronger too (others may disagree here). The Q change is particularly interesting in lane - get good at bouncing, and you can lane bully better than on live. And really, that's what it comes down to for me at least. As somebody who enjoys playing current MF, and considers myself pretty successful with her, I don't often feel that I make good "MF plays". It's more that I make "good ADC plays with MF", so hopefully the extra decision-making and rewards allow me to express my skill better. ----------------------------------------- EDIT: Reminder that these are just my thoughts as a MF player. I'm not on the design team, so please don't take anything I'm saying here to be representative of overall philosophy, or even their intentions. I'm just excited for MF! =)
