: Funny thing is, I'm graduating from High School in a few months. Good one though!
: To further explain your comment here. While yes, taking away vision of the other team from the start does solve the "we can see your every move" problem; it does not solve the addition of a 6th player that could be used as the all seeing and talking "sight ward". All you have to do is have someone as your coach tell you what to watch out for at all times. Not in the case of "oh hey you should ward there because ....", but "oh hey, that guy just walked over your ward, run away". While yes, having a coach may seem like a good idea. Just having a "captain" or "shot caller" that's good enough to do both the job of a coach and a team leader is sufficient enough. That's why coaches with the pros can only be with the team during champ select and ban phase.
I think this would be a cool concept in custom games only. Anywhere else and I'd be too concerned about streamers.

I think you need a colon after the "WANTED" in your title. Otherwise, it kinda looks like you're trying to poach LoL admins.

You're able to connect to the authentication server, but not a different part of the server. Possibly the client server, or possibly the game server itself. Unless there's some widespread issue going on right now, it's most likely a settings issue either on your firewall, anti-virus, or router... but there could be a major issue happening - I don't really pay attention to that side of things since I stopped playing. However if there's no 'known issue', then I'd say start by disabling fw/av and bypassing router if you want to try to diagnose this.

I agree with this guy. Apart from any 3rd party fire wall you may be running (norton, avg, etc.) There is also, firewalls on your router, windows firewall (garbage), and windows defender that can cause this kind of issue. Granted, the microsoft firewalls should not be causing these kind of issues, but a block could have have occurred due to a combination of programs (including 3rd party firewalls) modifying incoming packets that caused them to suddenly be considered "suspicious" If you do nothing, this will likely remain a problem until you patch and the version number associated with your client updates. Ironically to speed up this process, you could just take the long step of uninstalling/reinstalling. If the updated version number from a recent patch is what suddenly caused this "suspicious" behavior (firewall says "hey, that's not the LoL I said ok to" after an update) then you'll have to reinstall either way. Though a more permanent solution would be to turn off all firewalls and attempt to reproduce the issue with none (should not be successful i.e. you should be able to play with out a problem). Then reproduce while enabling them one by one to see which one is being a butthole. You shouldn't need to worry about getting a virus while you have the firewalls down unless you already have one, or if you start visiting questionable (porn) sites before turning at least one back on. Also, bringing down a 3rd party firewall means uninstalling it completely since using the disable feature does not stop the back ground services that would be causing the problem to begin with. A lot of 3rd party antivirus programs use malware techniques that will not allow you to uninstall with windows, so you may need to download an uninstaller from the 3rd party antivirus website.

: @RIOT REDS ATTEMPTING TO RECONNECT "hello anyone listening"
So let me get this straight, You'd like to appeal to Riots good nature to come to us with the truth by requesting it in a passive aggressive way, while clearly gathering players to stand up against any response that is not what you want to hear? Also, an issue between the servers and the client would entail possible errors in our computers our networks our ISP's our software conflicting with the client I can almost guarantee that it isn't a problem in the game client because I'm using a carbon copy on the client you're using (assuming you're not on a Mac) and in the 6 games I've played today (and all games since the last patch) I haven't had a problem.

There does seem to be a massive problem with ISPs and riot lately, I dunno what they did to piss off Comcast but all of the people who have Comcast or TWC as their isp have been having trouble with this. based on that guy's tracert, it looks like it's a backbone network and not necessarily a commercial ISP. Our ISP is not the internet, they offer gateways to the internet. Like us, an ISP needs an ISP to get its subscribers connected to all other networks. This is where the backbone or "Tier 1" networks come into play: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/36/Internet_Connectivity_Distribution_%26_Core.svg cogent and level 3 are the big Tier 1 networks in the US.

: Your OS should have no effect on the strength of your connection. Even if you were using Windows XP, you'd still encounter the same type of connection issues.
Before I blow off some steam: Different OS' shouldn't have any difference in connection speed. You are downloading packets of information through your Router, ie. their servers are communicating with you IP which is then being forwarded to your computer. OS has almost nothing to do with this. However, different operating systems have different security measures set up to prevent malicious traffic once the info gets to you. Tjese security settings can slow down and even completely block the incoming packets. To be sure, I suggest that you'd have to disable them and test your connection. If you want to try this out i found this for the UAC in W7: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/turn-user-account-control-on-off#1TC=windows-7 You may also want to look into shutting off the windows firewall. It's a good idea to have 1 firewall up at all times, but unless you're going straight into porn, you shouldn't have a problem with shutting everything off for a short 1-game test. Now to the fun part: > > Your OS should have no effect on the strength of your connection. Even if you were using Windows XP, you'd still encounter the same type of connection issues. > > Then could you possibly suggest to me why the problem would start when switching OS from Vista to 7? > Keeping in mind, it's the same issue everyone seems to be having, in which VPN, updating wireless and router/modems hasn't worked for anyone, and other games besides League of Legends function fine. > > I believe someone else stated they have a roommate who isn't having any problems, and they live in the same house. Not to mention this is happening to people all over the country, and outside of it. Soooo...? :( This is one of those things I don't understand. Why are we stating this kind of reply as fact. You have nothing to back it up other than that "it sounds just like that's guys problem" It's like watching some kid fall on his wrist, get diagnosed with a sprain, and then us falling on our wrist and telling the nurse NO! its not broken, its obviously sprained cuz it sounds just like that last guys experience! Except in this case no ones been diagnosed with any thing but we are still absolutely sure it's the same as the last guy. And who is "everyone"? I'm not having any lag. Granted I'm on the west coast, but we are using the same servers. If some of us are having trouble in one area and some of us aren't in another, doesn't that kinda suggest that the problem is in transit and not at the end location?
: Stop stone walling. If riot admits they have issues players will calm down about it.
> Stop stone walling. If riot admits they have issues players will calm down about it. So what happens if they are correct and their explanation that is based on actual logs (unbiased) turns out to be correct, and not our theory that they must be wrong because we have Lag, no background in networking, and the ability to mob style attack any thing they say regardless of what their saying?

You should try viewing with another web browser, theres likely a 3rd party add on that is causing this. Though you probably can't see this anyway sooooooo,...
: Your game's not fun
So you're having issues that are affecting all of Riots servers, but they are not affecting either myself or Amaromarn... And dumping your DNS cache without actually changing your DNS service didn't help... And Riot needs to get auxiliary servers (instead of having just 1?)... Hmmm, I'm guessing you're not majoring in networking or computer science. And as you can probably tell, I'm not majoring in english!

For the record, the terms and conditions specifically say that there are 0 refunds and they're giving us 3 anyway so.... yea... Edit: I found it, its article iv, section B paragraph 4: NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR THE PURCHASE OF RIOT POINTS OR FOR VIRTUAL ITEMS OBTAINED USING RIOT POINTS.

: Earning respect in real life is vastly different than in game. From what I see in game, people are easy to respect somebody solely because of skill. This actually disappoints me.
Plus, unlike real life, everyone on your team is going for the same goal. By starting off your relationship with your team with a "you have to earn my respect" mentality and not being a positive influence right off the bat you are pretty much shooting yourself in the foot. It's kinda like a skill in the game. Controlling your character and knowing the map can only take you so far. But unless you've also acquired the skill of working as a team you'll never really know how far you can go. If you are being a dick and wondering why you're "always" teamed with crappy players, chances are you are the problem.
