: I know many people would consider this "fair", but it is really not if you think about it objectively. An AD shield just would have way more value than an AP shield in this game. An AD shield can prevent you from getting executed by minions or even towers, which is impossible to achieve with a magic shield, since these don't deal magic damage at all. The only sources of magic damage in this game are enemy champions and gromp. That's it, nothing else will deal magic damage to you. AD shields are more versatile because of that.

I know how it feels to work hard on something you're proud of, only for someone to not take feelings into account when thinking of how to word their feedback. Don't let anyone tell you your work sucks! You did amazing, and even if it didn't live up to some people's expectations that doesn't mean it isn't still a great piece of work! Keep up the good job, I'm proud of you and I look forward to you producing more. :) Cheers! Hope I get to read your work someday! :D Thanks also for the kind words! One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in writing professionally is understanding no matter what you do, some folks will hate it - just as (hopefully, anyway!) some will love it - and that audiences and even your professional collaborators will have different styles and skills at giving critical, craft-centric feedback. I think it’s amazing (and also sometimes overwhelming) that especially in this industry, we can get immediate impressions and feedback from audiences, as well as more objective data, about reception around a piece of creative work. Learning how to distill all that down to useful takeaways is definitely a learned skill (and sometimes exhausting given the sheer volume!). Plus, creative work that is inherently subjective means there will always be differences in taste. As a gamer, lore nerd, and passionate writer of fantasy, my goal and approach is to leverage my skills to tell the best stories I can to help make the most fun gameplay, all with input and collaboration from some of the most talented folks in the industry. Some people will like it. Others will have actionable feedback. Others just need to vent about how mad it made them. But always, as a creator, seeing the gap between my intention (what emotions am I aiming to invoke? What story elements am I hoping you take away?) and the intended audience’s reception is hugely informative. The trick is learning to filter out or read through any perceived harshness of language - and of course, to ignore any fundamentally caustic or bad faith engagements (which the OP’s post was not). I can nerd out about craft and feedback all day, but I a) have a project I should be writing for and b) should avoid typing another novel of a post, so I’ll end it here! Thanks again for reading and sharing your thoughts. (Also, that is an excellent summoner’s name. :D)
I loved the bio and its made me excited to play morde again. Yall did a great job in making him play into the fantasy I always imagined for him.

A tank might not need as much gold (and bruiser items cost more so??), but they still need those exp and gold incomes if they want to stay relevant. You can't ignore that even after laning phase. Also im talking more about me interacting with the camp and they steal it, not any camps across the map. This is probably because, generally speaking, laners carry the jg. I've seen Faker given countless camps, and then in soloq we get jgs like you who get mad if I steal 2 small wraiths to save 30 seconds for my largest powerspike. You just say me jg my camps me. Do you care to know what the trade would be if you gave the camp away? No? Oh ok. The best part is when I steal 2 wraiths and the jg complans, and acts like they didn't hover mid 1/3 the game and passive leech my xp, I don't even get a choice in the gold/experience you steal from me? LOL. Jgs that want to win don't cry about camps nearly as often. You also think you're justified to tell me to fuck off and that it's your camp, when there are a lot of jg that try to shove their camps down my throat they want to share so bad, so really, nothing is special about you taking the camp unless you 1v9. If you selfishly horde your camps and lose, maybe consider 'teamwork'. I've played jg in diamond elo and hit 30 assists before 15 farm with pantheon, _but you need your camps._ 90% of the role is ganking, not farming. Jg is a proxy damage support. You should be dying at opportunity to give away camps. Normally just giving my scuttles to mid laner alone causes a 3 level advantage, instead of the natural 2 level advantage. "Funneling" has been meta for whole seasons and you think sharing a camp is a bad strategy? LOL. This is a message to every jg that thinks all the camps are theirs. Not just you. One of the single greatest strength cheese first bloods I've ever got consistently is giving ADC red. It started naturally by accident, but then I saw if I just gave winning matchups red, they won even faster. Combine with a gank, the enemy normally never assumes is coming when the ADC has red, you pretty much can force entire lane decisions with single camp donations. JG passive(On your jg tool) that gives you bonus xp for being lower level, is almost designed this way for helping catch up after donating camps. Edit: you literally only play carry on hit jgs tho, so, it's not like you probably even know how much power laners even can get, while minimizing your losses. your roster speaks for itself that you're terrible at that. The best way to play jg is as a support, and you prioritize it as a carry position, and now you're bitching about farm, (how predictable right :P).
Right gold 5 played in diamond and got 30 assists before 15 farm XD you funny bro Any good jungler would abuse the fact you weren't farming by invading and preventing you from leveling Nice shitpost
: As a jungler, I agree, ... during laning phase However my personal M.O. is, when everyone is well into team-fight phase, no form of gold/exp has ownership. HOWEVER, resources should still go to those who gain the most benefit from them based on priority and proximity. The carries (Usually Bottom and Mid) need the most gold and exp so they generally take priority of minion waves (when a support has Spoils of War charges they should actually have priority for the use of those charges). Junglers still maintain the most benefit from jungle camps because they get the most experience and sustain from them. If your jungler is on the bottom side of the map and you see a minor camp is up on your way to shove out top side, .. by all means, take it.
Laners so often "claim" any and all lane minions, regardless of the time of the game. A tank might not need as much gold (and bruiser items cost more so??), but they still need those exp and gold incomes if they want to stay relevant. You can't ignore that even after laning phase. Also im talking more about me interacting with the camp and they steal it, not any camps across the map.
: gold should always go to the person that needs it most. if you are behind, its reasonable to get pissed at people who take your jungle camps. but if your adc is lacking gold and you have great gold income at the moment, its good to give them the camp, you won't have to go down and clear it, which gives you the most ganking opportunity and helps your other lanes get ahead. and i'm speaking, as a season 4-8 jungle main.
Okay you didn't understand, im talking I just handed them a buff and go to farm only to have them steal it from me... also Season 1 jungler vs season 4 jungler Silver 5 vs Diamond 5 jungler. You tried to pull the seniority card first. So im doing it here too.

So a few things, to consider Make large raptor do what the large wolf does so single target junglers aren't at such a loss as AoE, explosion shouldnt be enough to kill small birbs outright but helps clear up for those who don't have AoE. Make a target for "bardle Royal" that indicates where the circle will eventually end. Itll help teams plan surprise blitzkreigs or know where they need to go in the event its a close one wondering which side of the wall will have more wiggle room for longer. Reconsider alignment of events, the more a game is in favor of a team the closer to the enemy side an event should be looking to appear. Itll help give losing teams a bit of a leg up while not completely preventing the "winning" team from destroying the enemy nexus. The payload event does this so well! Less plants, make the plants like the melonberrypearthingies appear in the middle like the heal relic in TT so it can be more fought over instead. Also, why 2 blast plants near herald? Make it one I just feel its silly to have more than one right next to one another. I love the concept of the cannon of champions, but it feels more overbearing than most of the other rewards. At least with GA, shields, and ocean drake you can wait it out through wave clear and other methods, but the cannon has too much range for it to be a permanent addition to their utilities. In close games it can create huge swings which a reward should do, but not permanently.

About Zoe, has there been consideration into locking her W behind lv 1-18 or behind skill rank 1-5? For **example** rank 1 W only gives her cleanse, and flash through minions with no AP scaling, but at rank 5 she gets access to all SS and current item actives with current ap scaling? It doesn't have to be that but I feel like locking the SS and especially items behind a level or rank wall will help make it feel better to play against.
: Playing immobile champs feels like shit right now
I know an idea they had for {{champion:163}} was for her to morph terrain, having a support jungle, or mid champion who could do that opening up routes for immobile champs would be cool allowing them to traverse the map more effectively without following a support like bard and waiting for the tunnel.

So a few things, that buff in base damage at lv 1 Devour seems a bit extreme? I get the changes but maybe lower it from 27 to 23 and have it scale to 35% from there? The naut shield seems strange but I guess we will see how it ends up. The leona W nerfs seem a bit much... like its good with the scaling but a flat 30 armor and mr lost at lv 5 is pretty big with it also transfering damage to her E. Maybe give her back a little bit of it? Everything else seems great

: Yes, they can build those items, but their kits dont like it at all. Especially yasuo, who loses a lot of inbuilt power without crit, and trynd who also needs crit for his kit to function (even AP trynd builds shiv). Even steraks and mallet end up being 3rd or 4th item on them because their kits require squishy builds to function at the start.

Not really sure what you mean it takes away from their kit? usually after 3 items their builds become overkill with damage. At higher elo's you often see yi and yas build those as 3rd or 4th because they know they cant get away with pure damage. Even cowsep, yassuo, and other yi/yasuo players build more surviveability the higher in elo he goes in his climbs, (not always but often) Higher elos understand the equation of : Surviving to deal more damage > doing one instance of damage and then dying. (or more often than not just dying flat out instead of doing damage) Heck its even the reason AP tryn rose to such power is because of the stupid amount of healing it gives sacrificing a little damage for a ton of heal. As for tryn building shiv in his AP builds its actually more because of the extra burst damage you get from its passive and even now its usually like a 5th or 6th item for AP tryn. Usually they build nashors, lichbane, rageblade, botrk, with boots somewhere in there. It doesn't actually synergize because of crit but because it helps with nashors tooth's passive through AS, and its own passive helps give out an extra burst of damage.

: While i like the idea, he would need numerous other changes to work. Ultimately, trynd is a melee forced to build squishy. The downside to him having his ult is his kit literally forces him to build glass cannon, which is inherently the weakest type of champ in the game. All melee glass cannons get massive boons in their kit, such as yas passive and W, yi ult and passive, etc.

The downside to him having his ult is his kit literally forces him to build glass cannon, which is inherently the weakest type of champ in the game. All melee glass cannons get massive boons in their kit, such as yas passive and W, yi ult and passive, etc. Currently the trade off is he becomes the worlds best tank for 5 seconds, and no he isn't forced to build glass cannon, that's just what people prefer to build. We see yas and yi have a variety of builds that incorporate frozen mallet, steraks gage, and other tanky items to increase surviveability. Because of his ult tryn can get away with not building those.
: NO! AS A TRYN MAIN SINCE SEASON 3 STOP IT! HE DOESN'T NEED A CHANGE. LEARN TO COUNTER HIM.....ITS REALLY EASY! JUST BECAUSE YOU DONT LIKE IT DOESNT MEAN HE NEEDS A REWORK! The skill of playing trynd comes from properly macro decision making. No other champion rely's on that more than trynd does. If you change his ult he will lose his own identity. He is a barbarian that only lives through rage now. Minimize his ult means he's not as angry anymore. Wouldn't make any sense. If anything he should be even more angry! Trynd item build is totally dependent on what items are buffed/nerfed. I've always enjoyed taking more crit and damage. No need to have more "variety". You can virtually build anything you want on him. It just depends on your playstyle. That is the beautiful thing about trynd. The way he is now. You can build him to your specific needs. Not meta items like so many other champions rely on. Please don't touch him at all.
As someone who has played from season 1 I know how to play against him, but if you disagree his ult is completely and utterly fine you are daft and completely biased. I remember when you could out CC his ultimate because he had to push it before he got CC'ed which was honestly more balanced than his current iteration but more frustrating for the person playing him so meh i guess its fine. As it stands his current iteration is like a 5 second long fiora parry without the stun you can get, but able to move around.

: It reminds me Oracle's ult from Dota, which basically prevents damage and healing for a duration, but accumulates them and deals them all at once at the end with amplified healing. I invade their opposite starting buff, and make sure they cant take my buffs, and then proceed to shut them out of their jungle. When successful I make a comment in all chat about how its a shame their solo lanes dont help them. Almost always gets jg and solo lanes to flame one another.
: End of s2 / early s3 and I don't recall people having access to one-shot so easily as now
A lot of the damage we have now is front loaded definitely but with DFG it was the same thing, thing with DFG is we just saw it only on mages or Garen. Also there are a lot more champions now than back then. The fantasy back then was building unkillable by bruisers or full AP/AD hoping to oneshot, while adc looked for that consistent damage to follow up the AP burst. It wasnt unseen though. Pantheon had his reign of 1 shotting people which caused him to lose his global ult status, we had xin who was unstoppable at every point in the game up until a much needed nerf. Talon, LB, and Kass were looked at heavily because they could easily one shot early game and carry that into late. Also wasnt Rengar and K6 unleashed season 2? They both were kings of stealth to instagib that had barely any counterplay for quite a while. It is so easy to look in the past and forget the horrible for what was good and vice versa. Vandrill's nostalgia video made me cry because it reminded me of the game I fell in love with and I have loved so many of the changes over the years. I remember falling in love with the OG irelia, mordekaiser, and trundle as they came out. The new champ every few weeks was so hectic but it was so much fun getting hyped that often knowing I would hate the broken state they would be released in usually getting heavy nerfs a few days later to round them out. There are some cases that I agree with you where it felt harder to one shot, the first thing that comes to mind is MF ult. It was so bad until they buffed it to be more in line with ults like Lucians. It was certainly harder on a group of champions, mostly ADC who were much more toned down in their abilities compared to now mostly relying on AA to do their damage and bruisers who struggled if there was a single shield placed on the squishy because most struggled to stay latched on to the ADC or AP if they didn't full burst.

Here, he didn't even deal 40% of a squishy's HP with R + DFG > Just to see if what you are saying is true I went to a custom game to try this out, with only Ludens Echo ult and 2 autos (to proc electrocute) and took a bot zyra from 817 hp to 404, thats far from 100-0 granted i only had lost chapter by lv 6 so considering a malphite would be that far ahead thats pretty big at lv 6, now we throw in the full combo and we get about the same results as in the video of his Q and E finishing the enemy off with DFG. But wait lets take a look back at the clip you are refering to. Slow it down to .25% speed and you see that xerath takes 400 damage while rammus takes 800. So his DFG hits rammus instead of xerath in the clip. If DFG had hit him we would have seen larger numbers from the impact. > I mean I can send you some clips of {{champion:57}} {{champion:36}} fighting each others and claim that damage creep isn't an issue in the current season Mundo has always done rediculous damage, his ult being countered by grevious wounds was the issue keeping him from being meta for so long because he was squishier than the normal tank. Maokai went through so many iterations and back then his ult made him even more unkillable. His ult at one time was stationary which made it awful but did a ton of AoE damage. Let me ask, what season did you start playing?
