Only the normal mode of TT was flooded with bots for a point I brought up in another post being; there was no incentive for players to play on it. The ranked TT mode had the whole climbing incentive and had no bots at all. Botters knew most people wouldn't be playing normals to begin with and had a 90% chance their bots would be playing against someone else's bots. They didn't touch ranked out of fear of their bots going against other players and then being banned from easy reports. I think the situation is pretty telling in that regard.

: Stop murdering Tahm
Isn't Tahm one of the balance nightmare champs that is either too weak or extremely powerful? We literally had this issue about 3 months back with him being way too strong over a small change.
: NERF GLACIAL INTO THE GROUND
There should really be a limit set in play to prevent permastuns or perma CC of any form in this mode. For example, a CC (let's use frozen for example) must completely end before the same unit can be CC'd by that same type again.

: I defend Riot in 99.9% of the cases. This time I'm on the 0.1%
I had to stop reading at "I defend Riot in 99.9% of the cases." I don't mean to sound like a jerk and attempt to invalidate your post, but you are part of the problem. People who mindlessly defended and supported Riot's disgusting practices throughout the years are what helped it get this bad to begin with. It's great that you're finally choosing to take that last 1% to call them out on their BS... but I can't really feel anything with this post. What happened when they gave us pricing standards but intentionally ignored updating specific rare skin prices to exploit collectors? What happened when they introduced prestige skins to bait out impulse buys? What happened when Riot made the IP to BE conversions and shafted 5 year old players a good portion of what they should have gotten refunded back? What happened when Riot allowed a staff member to tell its player-base to mass suicide into a plane turbine and only silently fired him (we only found out via his twitter status changing) without issuing any sort of public apology about it? You defended them the hundred of times they put everything above their own player-base first and now you're deciding to finally open your eyes once riot is already deep into this new way of thinking. All the people who told us to stop whining in the past you likely played a part in. You helped dig this hole we're in, so lay in it.
: Legacy Cursor Removal
I think the worse part of all this is the fact that they have gone on record saying they fully understand people don't want it removed but will **STILL** workon having it removed eventually. Remember kids, it's their vision of the what needs to happen, players be damned.
: "Community feedback really means something to us, we swear"
Why are you even surprised by this? Riot has long skipped to finalizing designs before they hit PBE for years now. The majority of changes aren't made because they already have people working on the Splash art and everything else too far in to just do by the time things are view-able to players. Remember Gun Goddess Miss Fortune? They had it's Splash Art, it's animated Splash Art, the special summoner Icon done for it by the time we all got to see it in its "unfinished" state. You just have to accept that drastic changes will never be made anymore. What's worse is now we're moving to the point where they refuse to change particles... for skins that are supposed to have particle changes due to tiers they themselves established. Mordekaiser got shafted hard and they won't even lower the prices of the skins affected to compensate. It's all about churning shit out and making that money most of the time these days.

: PLEASE REDUCE RNG MECHANICS! Suggestions included
Why can't we have a separate currency for items but the items in the "shop" we get between rounds are completely RNG themselves? We could have RNG dropped items on top of an RNG shop with a currency to buy from it. This way we wouldn't always have the same meta items and nobody would get completely shafted by starting the game, going all three minion rounds, and not dropping a single item to help them.

: I know many people would consider this "fair", but it is really not if you think about it objectively. An AD shield just would have way more value than an AP shield in this game. An AD shield can prevent you from getting executed by minions or even towers, which is impossible to achieve with a magic shield, since these don't deal magic damage at all. I played against a Yuumi and Vlad who figured out that Vlad popping ult and pooling seconds before Yuumi ulting meant anyone about to kill him would get CC'd and killed the moment Vlad resurfaced. Yuumi's states may be weak but she's only as good as the champ/player she's bonded to. She's very partner reliant. I feel like people are going to start realizing how dangerously unbalance she'll be in a week or two when the proper combinations with players who know what they're doing start appearing. : Riot cocked up. They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions - I do not believe the 'ban' was malicious but merely an ill-advised attempt to virtue signal. Their lack of suitable communication led to this whole debacle. It divided the community (players and employees alike), shattered their reputation with the core audience, lost them revenue, gained them bad publicity and damaged what little faith in Riot the community had. They must do better in keeping their intentions honest, transparent and communicate these things clearly and well in advance. There's still the fact that a lot of staff agree with Daniel Z. Klein's thought process and openly supported it as a ban, even if the original intention by some higher up was to virtue signal. It feels hard to look at his firing as anything more than damage control. Riot didn't make any statements specifically on it yet, avoided addressing the ban, and had some of their own staff agreeing with him. It should have been handled the first two days.

: Sexualization is just ridiculous in this game
Aren't these kind of threads supposed to go in the meme boards? I'm not trying to be a spoil sport but it's becoming extremely annoying getting click baited by the sudden emergence of memey click bait threads that are now being made in the General Boards. At least before then we could check the board it was posted in before falling for the thread.
: No it's because all of the critical posts have no substance and are just people venting and bashing Riot. You can't really respond to a thread where the op is asking for the balance team to be fired.
Yeah, perpetuate the same bullshit that SOME (not all, but some) Rioters like to repeat as an excuse to remain silent. There are just as many posts commenting on exact issues as there are vent posts. I'm pretty sure no other game company gets to use these excuses, but I guess it's another special Riot double standard. Why can't we make some obvious program fixes? [Riot spaghetti code that blizzard would not be allowed to use.] Why haven't they made UI support for 4k resolution or anything above 1080p? [Riot non-priority excuse that nobody else would get by with.] Why do they remain silent on the boards? [Riot "PEOPLE BASH US" generalization excuse that no other moba gets by using] I guess Riot will remain this small indie company that has double standard excuses for every thing they do or don't do. Whether these posts are legit or not, half of the current most active/top threads right now are filled with civilized discussion.

: Except Riot barely makes you pay for anything unless you just don't want to take the time to grind it... they even give away skins which is one of their only sources of actual income. Weird that people keep saying how all the changes are for the sake of going after players money. In what way? In fact old runes did that better than the new ones. They give you pre set pages right up front.
The rune changes weren't out of greed, but they should have made rune pages free after that. The whole loot and BE system was a massive nerf to player income, especially old players who got screwed over when the rune to BE conversion happened. The crate based loot system is just a copy cat of Blizzard's cash cow system in Overwatch, nothing more. All it does is abuse gambling addictions and force people to play with RNG until they crack and buy what they need. Now if we're talking about rune balancing, the new runes did nothing but break the game since their inception. It didn't give players more options, it gave us less. The rune system right now is just 'choose what kind of free damage you want'. The old system could have easily just been made free and had their stats edited or given addition effects to balance them out. What happened to letting players have 100% control over their play styles? Why can't someone go in with full AD runes darius and play high risk, high reward at lv1 to 6? What happened to letting someone rock full MR runes and just soaking stuff up in mid lane? We have way less play-style options than we did before, and we didn't even sacrifice that for a more balanced system.

Hope (and I said this way too often already...) that Riot will improve their decision making when it comes to skins in the future.... That's the thing, right now is just a glorified legendary skin. Outside of being able to form switch to what are essentially chromas with a slightly different gun model, it's just a legendary skin and nothing more. Honestly, they could have released it as a Legendary and have the forms be chromas. There is nothing really unique and different about her special forms. They're charging a Semi-Ultimate price for slightly above legendary skin. The best you could call this skin is a Legendary skin with an ultimate tier's feature, that being to swap forms. It's not worth the price at all.

They apparently lowered the price to compensate for the lack of quality...but why even bother attempting to make an Ultimate skin if you're going to half-ass it like this? The concept art shows tons of more inspired and unique looking designs they could have went with for each for, so why did give up half-way? It's literally just a glorified Legendary skin at this point, with access to slightly better chromas on the fly. Charge 2k RP at most for this kind of effort. It's not even close to being Ultimate tier right now, barely above Legendary even.
: I just think it would be hard to differentiate between Classic Ahri and this Eve skin at a glance. The outfits are almost identical outside of Eve's longer sleeves and they both have long shapes coming out behind them (tails and whips).

The outfits are almost identical outside of Eve's longer sleeves and they both have long shapes coming out behind them (tails and whips). But they look nothing alike in-game. The only they have similar is the outfit.

I would empty my entire wallet for an Eve skin like this, that and Christmas Eve.
: I wish riot would come out and explain what they're doing with league, as it seems so broken.
You're right about a lot of things but I feel like this is specific line is what people seem to have reversed > [{quoted}](name=Krytoric,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=PdlgywNx,comment-id=,timestamp=2018-02-07T13:38:39.345+0000) >Tanks broke ADC's - Tanks became borderline unkillable, after one item a tank can tower dive without any risk, so the damage classes had to get more damage to deal with it The damage and cooldown creep (which is basically alternate damage creep) is what started the problems. Damage became so high that tanks couldn't survive more than 3 seconds, which resulted in those waves of complaints we used to see about tanks being so weak. Instead of looking into damage, cooldown, mobility and all the other issues that could have been addressed, riot decided the best course of action would be to buff them until they survived. ...this is when the cycle of buff everything so they kill things started. It went like this Release low CD champ with good damage ---> these champs excel at bullying thanks to their low CD burst ---> buff other champs damage so they can trade better ---> damage creep now high ---> tanks now struggle to survive with everyone basically doing triple damage ---> Buff tanks to survive longer ---> Tanks now become unstoppable raid bosses ----> Buff other champs to do more damage to balance it out ----> damage creep even higher ---> Rework rune system to be choose your more damage perks... and inspiration ---> some champs become too strong as a result ---> start buffing other champions onto their level and the cycle of buffing goes on and on... Seriously though, can someone explain to me why runes were changed to basically just be more damage anyway?

Yes, League is obnoxiously hard to learn if you don't have a friend showing you the ropes. That sucks, but it's not worth stripping away the depth or potential for mastery for our core audience -- you guys -- in order to attract new players. That's not an approach every game can or should take, but it's the right call for League." Meanwhile right now it feels like they want us veteran players to stop playing the game.

Do you guys mind linking to the actual post/threads where he said these things? I used to have them bookmarked but ended up deleting them, and it's absolute hell to search for specific posts related to anything on league.
: On a more serious note everything right now is beyond repair. Just look up front reddit page about Tyler 1 and search the comments of certain rioters. I'm 100% convinced noone is working at riot, they are just some high school interns or something. If that is how riots PR department is handling the situation, keep going riot. Video still made me laugh like crazy and also cry a bit inside because i could actually imagine them buffing kha zix for the lulz.

The balance team literally only consists of 5-6 people, unless they just brought some new people in. Ghostcrawler a while back said they were happy to be getting their 6th addition to the balancing team soon. You can just look at the abysmally small number and know that they fucked up day one. Why is there less than 10 people on the balancing team?

They will see the community universally agree on how bad an upcoming change in the works is but Riot will force it out anyway. People will continue expressing how bad it was and how right they are, but Riot will double down on it anyway. Let's take a look back at Kalista's creation for an example, shall we? This was way back when the ADC issue was actually becoming a thing and the community first started talking about them as a problem. Riot saw us point at how badly ADCs were starting to crush melee champs, how the mobile ADCs had going top lane handicapped in their favor, etc. ...and what did Riot do? They went on to make a champion with permanent mobility as her passive at zero the cost. The community went batshit crazy over it when she hit PBE and shouted at how broken that was for any champion... then riot doubled down on it... then they released her... then she dominated games... then she was forced to get nerfed into the ground... Riot doesn't like admitting they made mistakes...
: If this was true, his winrate would be better. That said, his kit is extremely poorly designed. Playing against a Yasuo is a perfect storm of obnoxiousness. He ticks all the buttons to earn himself hate. Manaless AD caster-type. Incredibly strong scaling and hard-carry potential. Spammy abilities. Spammy mobility. Cock-block move to nullify your skills. Free stats galore. Obnoxious playerbase drawn of 70% teenage weebs and 30% rage-filled former Riven mains. Edgelord as hell... and not in the fun self-aware Reaper way. A shitload of skins while older champs languish with far, far fewer. And to top it all off, the SOB cannot be shut down permanently. He scales so hard that even Yasuo inevitably going 0/5 in lane because he plays like a complete idiot won't render him useless. A little CS and the mofo is leaping into teamfights, cleaning up and getting kills anyway. It's absurd. Dude needs a rework. He's not broken he's just REALLY shitty in design.

Winrate is only something you look at for sample sizes, not something you always take literally. There has been many cases throughout league history where a champ was sleeper unbalanced and had a low winrate, or played by so many people that the amount of bad players using the champion balanced out the winrate.
: Eve should be reverted. She's too slow and does no damage anymore

She's too slow and does no damage anymore She still does damage but it's simply far too much work to get there compared to other assassins, or like OP's example, playing {{champion:64}}. Her main benefit comes from a stealth that still heavily gates her, even gimping her charm for the sake of counterplay. Champions like {{champion:121}} and even {{champion:64}} have a much more reliable form of engage and disengage than she does, on top of being able to deal with people who attempt to counter-jungle. Enemy laners basically have to be too deeply committed to an engage for {{champion:28}} to reliably gank them or use her charm due to its forced counter-play, compared to {{champion:121}} and {{champion:64}} who have the option to jump on their targets at just about any time. She's far from trash or even weak IMO ...but why choose her when you can choose more reliable choices that do just about the same job she does? I play her because I love the character, the visual rework, and her kit feels smooth, it's just the charm issue that feels extremely annoying to play with.
: She's has an AoE trap which is pretty bad except as temporary path denial so she can hit you with it as well. Hitting one spell which CC's the target and allows a full combo is not even uncommon, it's normal for this game.

It's pretty bad? The delay is literally there so her Q's travel time can benefit from it. If the stun was instantaneous the enemy would be given a better window to dodge the skillshot, as it would end much earlier.
