: Isn't it always the case in low elo? Low elo games even ends slower than higher elo ones. Adc is not even necessary below low gold, just play Swain and climb. Though adc/bot lane becomes the most relevant in high elo. Could it be that you are older now and not good at micro anymore? Try jungle/top/sup instead of adc
Nah I just didnt realize how unnecessary ADC is low elo. Been doing well my support games which is just a stark contrast. It's not even like I couldnt do well in my ADC games, it just felt that unneeded as you say. Its stupid so im just gonna climb out as support. Maybe start to play ADc again at plat. :p

Very perceptive of you tell me more. You know this may be an unpopular opinion because players LOVE shitting on ADC maiins but as I told every smug noob adc I played against today who won lane and subsequently lost the game.** ADC literately doesnt matter**. If they do well they're good shut down gold purses for any top, mid or jungler who is actually able to carry. To do well on ADC this season you literately cant die which is BS and I feel bad for every ADC main out there. Im just gonna abuse the shit out of the system in the support role lol. My win rate on those ADC's isnt AT all reflective of my capability on them, just an FYI. If you really feel like you can tell an ADC's worth by their W/R on any given ADC this season you're frankly delusional. In truth it's honestly depressing how bad of a state the role is in right now.

: Yes from my experiences from silver and low gold. Games in this elo are clown fiesta. This happened because riot buffed damage (ignite, some of champions values), nerfed defenses (exhaust/heal, armor on mages, enchanters and marksmen, enchanters healing/shielding abilities, support items) and players finally found out how to use runed to their full potential and what runes to take on which champion - we found out that runes gives huge ammount of hidden damage. So everyone plays with ignite in all lanes, everyone is building damage items first trinity on garen, iceborn or even luden echo on malphite, runic echoes on gragas. On a squishy champion you now die in 0.xx without counterplay. Thanks to this the meta in low elo is "pick the most assassins and fighters you can and fight enemy constantly". Hence even if you know this is not ideal strategy, you are forced to join these constant skirmishes that are often prolonged to the point that those who died at start joins it... Nobody seems to want to do dragons/barons, because right now with the ammount of damage, if you are winning, you don't need to leave the base, you can oneshot the enemies after they respawn and rush to you and finish the game. So yeah, games in low elo are clown fiestas right now.

Hard engage and poke work well against Tristana. At the end of the day she's an ADC, shes squishy and takes a lot of items to turn online. Soften her up with a few ranged abilities, if you have none dive on her as you would a jhin. Jhin is stupid easy to dive because he has no escape, trist only has one rocket jump. You can catch Trist just like you would any other ADC, having more than one hard CC is preferable. Hook champions also work well in the lane, such as bliz, pyke or thresh. It honestly just depends on your feel of the game. she cant rocket jump all the time, just once, unless she kill s someone.

Hold up, I dont understand this. Playing ADC this really strikes me as odd considering ADC's dont even control their fate in laning phase. You literately thrive or die based upon how good your support is in the lane, and then once you finally DO turn online it's up to your team to play properly around you to be effective. Literately at every stage in the game you are super vulnerable, in early stages you're practically non existent and aside from a select few hyper carries (Kaisa and Vayne tbh) there isnt a single ADC that can just go off and do anything solo even if ahead. Literately. Meanwhile an early game top lane carry or Jungle carry or mid lane carry can most certainly 1vx with any sizable lead. The difference between a 5-0 kaisa and a 5-0 Irelia at 15-20 minutes is massive and thats on the extreme end of ADC's. I think ADC's do what their supposed to do, which is do lots of damage to whatever is in front of them over a certain period of time. ADC's like Jhin, MF and even Lucian imo should fall off similarly to how a champ like Pantheon falls off since being so dominant in lane and in the mid game shouldnt translate into still almost the same relevant power late game. But at the same time many hyper carries are super vulnerable. I just dont understand the logic. It seems people just dont like marksmen in general and would rather see the rift devoid of them.

Adjusting its hue would and should be as far as they go. Honestly I dont think thats the big issue here. The big issue is it doesnt look like the old arrows probs. It's a blue swirling mass and not this rigid arrow everyone comes to expect. Thats what I honestly feels it is. Also most people dont position themselves to respect ashe ult anyway. before this skin and especially after, getting off point blank ults is hilariously easy. respect the ult people.

My biggest issue with GP is that he has access to large quadrants of area too freely at all stages of the game. His barrels are a big part of his zones of control and they are very potent. They can be countered even in a teamfight which is fine but the biggest offender is his ult. I guarantee you if they nerfed his ult range alot (max range 1200 units), basically keeping it within his lane/maybe slightly extending to as far as rift herald from his Tier 1 tower if her were red side, he would be dropped like a hot potato by many. His ult does a lot of damage, it slows it can turn an entire fight around during laning phase anywhere on the map, give him free kills/assists,clears waves, stops seiges, makes seiges good, great for engages/disengages. He's not a fair champ when you consider the freedom of his ult and his scaling.

: First impressions are just that - how you feel the first time seeing something. So naturally the responses here are based on a reaction after a single game. But that's what's important. If it takes your opponent an adjustment period to get used to a skin, that's a direct advantage to the player using that skin. I've been around since beta. I've seen a few skins come around where there were a few clarity issues. And yes, Riot has generally dealt with those. This is by far the worst offender in terms of spells that are not immediately recognizable that I've seen. And as such, this is also the largest outcry I've ever seen over something like this. The current status of Ashe is mostly irrelevant here. If anything, it only resulted in the complaints coming in much faster because people are seeing this skin a lot.
If it was that bad, the champ/skin would be disabled. The "outcry" is honestly just an echo chamber of a rather small group of players. I've noticed this complaint a total of two times in game and I myself have played as and against project ashe. It was weird on first cast but it's whatever afterwards. I dont think her popularity is irrelevant at all, especially considering that shes one of the most picked ADC's right now who's in a strong spot for obvious reasons. First impressions arent an end all be all and not everything hits the mark on the first go around, nor is your first impression always accurate, it rarely ever is. What is true is that the ult is very different from what people are used to expecting from a popular champion, so the first time around it catches them off gaurd if they arent very observant to begin with. Again it's not a hidden ult, it's not an invisible ult, it's merely different in style so it's a bit harder to immediately recognize if you've never seen it before. Which can also be remedied by looking at the previews of the champion skins which have been posted in client and on the site for days. You arent wrong but you arent totally right either, most people can and should trust Riot if even after "All this outcry" nothings been done or said yet. Riots usually very quick to very obvious detrimental bugs, etc.

: Skins should be (and usually are) immediately recognizable in terms of who the champion is and what spells are what (in cases where there are new spell effects). Many skins have been released with new spell effects, textures, sounds, and even slight model changes and you don't see this degree of complaint over any of those. The champion and spells are generally still easily recognizable as what they are, even when things are moving quickly in a fight. There shouldn't be an adjustment period needed to get used to a skin an opponent has. The skin and/or spell effects were poorly designed if this is the case.
Ashe is really meta right now and theres alot of calls for a nerf from the player base. So its very probable that alot of these are just knee-jerk responses from single game experiences. Also on the note of other skins always being perfectly clear on the first try, this is not true. Many skins were hotfixed for animation bugs, hit box issues or clarity. Ashe ult is actually pretty easy to spot, I think the biggest reason why so many may not recognize it initally is because unlike the other ashe ults, this one isnt a REALLY distinct rigid arrow. It's alot more fluid with it's effects. The arrow is CLEARLY there but people arent used to seeing the swirling animation on her ult and are more accustomed to seeing something like that on her E. I dont think making the arrow portion of the ult a bit brighter would be wrong (kinda like a really bright triangular tipped beacon trailing in a fluid blue swirl), making it the still and stiff ult that resembles some of the other ones is in my opinion out of the question though, it could be tweaked for a bit more "it's obvious im a giant arrow coming at you factor", while still keeping it's fluid artistic nature. It's a really pretty ult.

Yea a lot of people dont realize Playing ADC can literately be a 1v2 scenario if you're support doesnt wanna do crap, by essentially pretending to play even a defensive healer type support. Giving a few heals every now and then is not all you need to do :/

Riot tends to make champions do many things well, then nerf them to the ground to rebuild them in hopes they do one thing well (maybe two things). Every OP champ right now and in the past honestly is "OP" because they are very versatile and are top tier in terms of how potent that versatility is. It's like when it regards champions we fear the champion that can do many things rather than one thing really well, because the latter can be shut down in a simple manner, while the former is too powerful.

I know your pain OP, I was at a similar point too earlier this season when I saw in silver. I mained Kalista twoards the end of last season into this season. I stopped playing her to play meta ADC's and climbed all the way to plat (though for my plat promos I honored my favorite champ by winning all three promo games into plat with her :D). But yea it does suck to get good on a champ and then have the hardest time succeeding with it just because the meta favors other things much more heavily, so much so that it barely feels like you put in effort. If anything it just goes to show that your actual level of play is much higher when playing champs of a lower skill requirement/ ones who are OP atm.

: The only thing holding her back is the cost efficiency of bork. Once she hits bork/pd you can really start doing things. The problem is getting there against the meta champs. Sivir, Ashe, even Jhin all have superior wave clear and constantly push her in. All these other champs also have a poke skill/mechanic to them, as well as more viable team fight potential. Whereas in contrast Vayne is purely based on all inning someone and skirting the team fights picking her way in. If she could reach that same 2 item spike with the same relative ease, and a slightly better team fight she would be a more viable pick. She sees next to no pro play outside of the rare LPL pick. I only pick her into double/triple tank comps for her % hp shred and hope my peel will let me kill them. {{champion:67}} is still bae to me though
Yes exactly, she isnt weak it's the freaking ADC itemization right now. It just enables the current prominent ADC's to abuse their relentless waveclear/poke/cc patterns while doing a lot of damage. If Botrk were lets say priced around 2700-2900 gold and some of the extra stats were taken off items such as {{item:3134}} {{item:3133}} as well as a slight gold increase this wouldn't even be the case right now.
