: Usually my crashes happen just after coming out of a game. And just as a side note whenever i do come out of a game my client doesn't play sound... So in order for me to hear sound out of the client after i play a game i have to log off and then log back on Its not a huge deal for me but, it would be nice if I had a fix for that.

: So you are the reason why I cant just use Prynce. LOL I've been using the new client since it was in Alpha but I've not had any problems until recently. I was already playing before I experienced today's problems. My client crashed and I had to restart but once i restarted i had to troubleshoot my compatibility settings just to get the client to load (the settings worked fine before the crash). Once I finally loaded the client that's when i experienced my issues. I'm just a lil butt hurt about the low priority queue I was in. I just don't want to experience "League Detention" again especially when I didn't intend on dodging.

Hmmmm, it sounds like your patching process is being interrupted. : I accidentally deleted my leagueclient.exe file. Not just a shortcut, but the actual file that used to exist in my Riot Games folder. I've tried repairing LoL to get it back, but no matter how many times I do it the file doesn't come back, and I'm forced to launch league through the old launcher. Is there a way that I can fix this without having to uninstall/reinstall the game?
Nope! You can actually just launch League of Legends through the lol.launcher.admin.exe, and this will probably patch Legacy Client files. After this is completed, it should prompt you to migrate to the Beta Client, and doing so, should return the "deleted icon" back to your folder. If this doesn't work, then a reinstall is definitely your next best step. And for the record, I do encourage players to try this method to approach migration issues that can occur so you're totally okay!

: I can launch my client after about 30 mins of doing compatibility tests.... now i've tried to queue twice both times my character list did not pop up... the first time when it failed i had to accept a 5 min block timer for not banning a champ (mind you i cannot see champs so that i can choose a champ to ban, nor can i see the champs that were already banned)... i waited the 5 mins switched my client to low performance mode and queued up again... no i can see who is being banned but i myself cannot see the champion list again i was chosen to ban and could not because i could not see any of the champion tiles... NOW I HAVE TO SIT THROUGH A 30 MIN QUEUE BAN BECAUSE OF SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT MY FAULT. So i chose to write this in the time that I am waiting to attempt again which i will be making a custom game and trying because I do not want to have my account punished due to a program error... mind you this is not the first time I've been punished due to a program error... pls fix this RIOT
The same thing happened to be when I first migrated to the Beta Client. Usually, this is caused by 3rd party programs or something affecting the client's ability to (literally) load the content. If you already toggled Low Spec Mode, I recommend a [**clean boot**](https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201761974#wq7), just in case possible 3rd party programs were interfering with the client. Hmmmm, so when players are forced into legacy patches before they get into a game, this tells me that the current patch wasn't applied properly. : Hello, I would like to seek assistance with an issue I am having after the client updated yesterday. Yesterday, I have launched the old client through the start menu and it updated my client, everything worked fine and looked great, played one or two games and stopped. Today, however, I launched the game through the updated start menu shortcut and loaded up a ranked game, but the problems started. I first tried to alt+tab, but the client crashed. I reconnected, but there was no HUD and the cursor kept resetting to the center of the screen every 0.1s . No HUD is showing up at all: no esc menu, no shop, no kill feed, no on screen message, no minimap, and I can't move because my cursor resets its position. On another custom game, every time I open the shop, the game crashes. I tried to use the client repair tool, to no avail. The only thing that worked for me, so far, is to go in my riot games/league of legends folder and open lol.launcher.admin.exe . It will open the old client and take on the appearance of the new client. Loading into the game that way allows me to play as usual, but I feel like this is only a temporary solution. I am hesitant to reinstall the game, because (I think) I would lose the old client and be unable to play the game normally. Any help regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated Thanks!
This one sounds pretty tricky. We are aware of issue with players who Alt + Tab during loading experiencing technical issues. As a general rule of thumb, I do encourage players to stay away from behavior like this, but I know I do this quite a bit as well. : HELP! I updated to the new client, logging in with the account name and password I have ALWAYS had, I only have 1 account. The game told me to enter a summoner name in, so I did. Yordle Jihadist is my summoner name, It said that name was already taken, so I thought something was up, I entered this name you see me posting from, now my summoner is lvl 1 with no champs or runes or mastery!!!! My Yordle Jihadist Summoner name was lvl 30 with almost all champs and many many skins! Help guys! I have no idea how to fix this! I put in a ticket but its been a day and no response! Ive spent countless amounts of money and time on my account and I lost ALL my progress :(
It honestly sounds like you may be logging into the wrong account. Double check that you have the right region and make sure that you're absolutely using the correct credentials!
