There can always be exceptions such as Graves autos adding a single stack of black cleaver per pellet hit(meaning if he point blank hits a person with 4 bullets it'll add 4 stacks). Or how Gangplank Q applies on hit and spell effects.

: Iirc, champion's passives don't generally count as their abilities which is why you get crap like the infernal drake killing you with statik shiv and ashe killing you with 149 true damage when there is no ashe in the game, basically spaghetti code. Like I'm pretty sure lucian passive generally registers as a taric because the ability is copy-pasted
Brand passive counts as an ability which is why it can proc liandries and rylais.

Copy pasting this as best as I can. With the new changes to DoTs and AoEs, how are champion DoTs applied through auto attacks and/or spells supposed to work? Brand Passive burn. Darius Passive bleed. Gangplank Passive Burn. These are just a few examples of champions with DoTs which can either be applied through spells and/or auto attacks. How are they supposed to work now with the new patch? Are they all supposed to proc spell effects including from runes or will they function the same way they have always before this patch?

Hey Meddler on the topic of Yorick I was wondering if it is intended neither his ghouls nor ult can proc dark harvest? Neither of them seem to proc it. If it is intended is there a reason for it? Also slightly unrelated but Darius R tooltip doesn't show the full damage it would deal with 5 stacks unless you have 5 stacks and noxian might active.

Is there any ETA on fixing Urgot's interactions with Conqueror? If he procs it with his W, his W autos won't deal true damage but if he autos to proc Conqueror THEN uses W, his W autos deal true damage.

: So I've spent many hours exploring this very thing and her it is: Soraka: Spirit Visage Warmogs into counter resistant items depending on who you face. Forget about W, max Q to be annoying and E to tell anyone NO in prolong fights. Take this top and be on the floor laughing. Karma: Maxing her shield on top of counter tank objects can be increditable since you can use your ult at lvl 1 and get a huge shield without building any shield/healing objects or even ap items. Janna: The same Reasons as Karma Bard: Chimes will give you any and all the power you need. Ult to pause fights and engage. magical journey I love to max out to always have a escape power on top of that I build nothing but HP+armor or HP+magic resist. Taking all of that and building Predator will help you run away from anyone. I once out ran a hec and a yi by using my Magical Journey stuning them to each other when they continued to chase and then as they were stunned i popped Predator and ran off. Also any dmg they did to me before the journey was very little as i build enough armor and magic resist with HP. Teemo: Never did it but I've seen it, and its funny. Keep in mind Demolish will scale heavily with hp amounts so you can still split push without dmg. Morgana: Max your Spell Shield then your Snare the pool as a tank will be a waste of mana. She will be the counter to all kinds of tops that have cc or magic dmg. Kayle: I mean Ult gives her invul paired with gargoyles i mean it could work well, morgana i feel could be better but still. Zyra: Max your Seeds and build counter Resist items, both your 1-14 plants and yourself will be very tanky by mid-late game and very annoying to be around. ZILEAN: Can i say more? lol that slow/speed up, his ult, and if you use Quick cast on his Q his stun becomes a bit easier at times. ZZrots is OP and helpful on tanks. Ashe: SLOWSSSSSSS grab Glacial Augmentation and build tank. Laugh at your foes as they never walk fast again. R_A_K_A_N: this one should be obvious but everyone prefers dmg or healing so I'll count it. Just stand around in areas they can poke you at and right before the poke happens dash away with his knock up dash, or if an ally is close by use his shield to evade it. You are a tank Rakan so messing this up won't 1shot you. Veigar: I know you said no power, and there will not be any unless you are getting tons of cs and pokes off. If you build tank and there are full ap mages/assassins/supports/bottoms/jungles/tops then this will use all their ap against them while you remain tanky from all the tank items. Shaco: Clone is Tanky, you are Tanky, Boxes will be annoying AF and shiv will provide a great slow. Kennen: Stufff... Words, Explanation... (I have to many fun ideas.... I'll let you figure this one out on your own) Anivia: All her cc plus being only with tank items can be annoying, also please note, EGGNIVIA WILL BE TANKY TOO Fiddlesticks: when maxing out his fear it can last up to 2-4 seconds long!! Ivern: Build Tank, and when they leave lane from boredom take a control ward and a scaning lens into their jungle and steal everything to become even more tanky. Azir: When he collides with someone he gets a shield, and if you can dash behind them or at them and then move/flash behind and ult them at the allies it will be splendid engage while remaining tanky from all those tank items. Orianna: Maxing shield and her slow will help with the CC department and the ult tips the scales if you are tanky on top of this it will make your robotic body seem actually made of some metallic material. ANNIE: Maxing her DMG REDUCTION fire circle shield and going tanky will make you a pain to kill just remember out side that stun, and bear you will be a meat shield. I'm done now, this took 10mins of fun memory lane jogging but it was fun none the less. I hope this helps you out in finding something annoying and tanky to play.

: they should, but they should be counted as AoE and reduced to 1/3 edit: I checked it out, I think its because ghouls count as autos for Yorick. in zyras and heimers case, it actually deals AP damage, so that's probably why Yorick can proc deaths dance.

: that's because deaths dance is to heal from 15% *of all physical damage dealt*. damage dealt by mist walkers is dealt by the walkers, but is registered as yoricks. but I thought ghouls proc it, but at 1/3 effect? I know attacking a target with the maiden for the %HP damage can proc it though.
What about Zyras plants? Don't her plants proc ravenous hunter? Heimers turrets as well.

No other Juggernaut is so reliant on perfect conditions to deal damage like Illaoi is. Not all need to be met but most of them do. Here are her conditions: She needs tentacles set up around her prior so that she has damage. If this isnt possible then she loses out on a bit of damage. She needs to land her E in order to not only have guarentee slams, but to also gain an advantage. She needs to be near her tentacles or else when she W's they wont even move. She needs her R active in order for her tentacles to actually hit the enemy. The only time her tentacles normally hit the enemy is when she is in laning phase with her Q or the enemy doesnt know how to dodge her tentacles in lane which is most of her damage. If she has no tentacles near her then she needs to land E+R to have a chance. If she misses her E then she will just spawn 1 tentacle vs 1 person and the enemy will almost not lose vs her then because her damage is pitiful. Illaoi needs to burst and kill her enemies within her 8 seconds of ult active. If she doesnt then she will probably die or nothing comes from it. Compare her to literally any other juggernaut(except Yorick) and watch how none of them are reliant on one specific combo to have a chance to fight their opponent. {{champion:122}} just needs to build stacks and position himself so that his Q hits the enemy with the blade. He isnt reliant on any specific combo to acheive this. {{champion:36}} is probably getting a relaunch but I'll include his current version. All he does is land his cleavers, use his E for damage, and his ult to stay in the fight longer. {{champion:86}} besides his villian mechanic giving him more damage, he literally just has to spin on the enemy for damage with his autos being filler. {{champion:75}} he just needs to Q, Q, and Q some more to kill the enemy. His ultimate makes his Q have a far lower cd for more damage. The condition Nasus has is having a decent amount of stacks on his Q. {{champion:2}} needs to land axes and actually be able to auto attack the enemy champion. His ultimate is there to make him harder to kite and CC. Does not require set up prior besides having his cds up. {{champion:82}} is getting a vgu but I'll include him anyways. Sort of needs an ally so that he can get the full use of his W. If not then he just can damage the enemy with his other spells while hopefully staying in range of the enemy. {{champion:102}} no real condition to fight an enemy champion besides having her ult ready to use. If she doesnt have ult then she just needs to land E and run the enemy down. Her ult is a bonus and is not mandatory to win a fight. {{champion:77}} same as Shyvana, just needs to stay in range and run the enemy down, no need for prep prior. {{champion:48}} same as Shyv and Udyr except this guys ult is actually useful. His only condition to win a fight is having his ult up. Does not rely on a combo to win besides landing R and running them down. {{champion:6}} this guy has no conditions besides having his W ready to use. He just needs to press W and move around the enemy. His ult is there to make sure the enemy cant escape with low health. His Q and E are there to help him move around the enemy. Does not rely on prep prior. He can fight anywhere at anytime unless he has no shotgun leg charges. {{champion:106}} same as Udyr and Shyvana except Volibear has needs his ult for the boost in damage. His only real condition for more damage is getting the enemy low for his bite to kill them. {{champion:83}} is similar to Illaoi in lane but loses the needing to build up tentacles/ghouls once he has ult. His ult immediately gives him ghouls without needing to build them up on minions. He needs to stay in melee range of the enemy to deal damage afterwards which he has his E and W to help with. If he doesnt have ult then similar to Illaoi, he needs to build up lots of ghouls prior to the fight. He is reliant on his ult but only his ult come later in the game. If he has no ult or ghouls he is useless. Edit: added Volibear and Yorick.

Honestly her E is the biggest issue with Illaoi. Here is how it plays out in lane outside being used to harrass. She landed E? Youre fucked. She missed E? She just got a gray screen. Her E needs to be nerfed so that she isnt reliant on E+R but needs her kit to be buffed elsewhere. Perhaps just her R so that it can be a lot more reliable. Making it automatically slam enemies in the aoe on cast?
