: Give Me Your Recommendations for Fun Champions To Play! (Support/Mid Prefer)
I personally adore Karma and Anivia as supports, and Anivia is one of the few I'm genuinely comfortable taking mid. I don't know how meta they are since I don't keep track but last I checked Karma is not very meta for the past few years and is somewhere in the process of a small vgu. However if you can manage your mana and build your runes right these two are SO FUN. I build Anivia with a CDR based build/runes and it's delightful!. She is great as a support with her CC and eh early game dmg that scales later (meaning your adc can hopefully get kills early but you can carry later if they don't). Karma can carry like a beast if built AP and her kit is p fun and supporty. Nothing like shielding your ADC and saving their tiny butt. Make sure to ult a lot! It's good for more poke and defense and it has a short cooldown considering how you can spam her abilities if you manage them right.

Lol this seems fun! I'm probably the peel type since I like the healers and CC sups. Thanks for making these.

I'm pretty excited! My only concern is safety, especially as a girl alone lol Totally fair, but chances are you will be ok. Walk around with confidence and you can p easily avoid any weird stuff. If someone comes up to you, be polite for the first 10 sec to see what's going on, and if it's bad get out, and don't be afraid to be harsh. Obvs it'd be best with a friend, not just for safety stuff but you can still have a good day alone! Just follow the usual precautions of stay in public places and don't trust stranger. During the actual event you'll probably be fine too, and if anything makes you uncomfortable I'm sure there will be security or fellow women to go to. Overall, be sensible and have fun! LA isn't a particularly dangerous city and most weirdos can be dealt with the fake it til you make it method of confidence even if you're the more nervous type.
: And yet the big basis of Ashe's present character is that she is the descendant of Avarosa and the Bow is That Avarosa's relic. Yes, in that second issue of the comic, she does not know, but at some point she assumes it to be such, and Swain outed that assumption as a flat lie. I am asking for a straightforward answer on it, assuming he can give one because right now we have Ashe's comic/Lore update in direct conflict with the present knowledge of her character.

I want to establish she DOESN'T know or think she is the actual descendant of Avarosa, she is simply stuck pretending to be. There is no confirmation in the way Ashe thinks or current lore that she really is her descendant. Especially since it's never mentioned if the sisters took husbands.
The Iceborn (EUNE)
: Ashe: Warmother Comic Nr. 2 Feedback and Character Discussion; SPOILERS!!
1.Q: While Ashe was hallucinating on top of that Lake did she actually see Anivia there or was it also an Illusion? This was very likely an illusion, since Anivia wouldn't have an interest in Ashe's journey just to appear once. There's also the design of the Anivia we see in the comic. It's not particularly accurate to "real" Anivia from the game, so it's probably Ashe's interpretation of what she looks like, again enforcing the idea she's also an illusion. 2.Q: Why do the Draklorn use Dark Ice? I know its sacred at the Citadel but still why? It was mentioned that it was more dangerous than True Ice,how? P sure the Rioter answers are p good for clearing this up. But I think they use the Dark Ice because it has ties to Lissandra and her magic since she is the one to corrupt it. This is also why it's probably more dangerous. The magic is inherently corrupting. 3.Q: Lissandra's Bio Intro says that she still corrupts True ice,so just to be clear the Dark Ice is Lissandras doing? Are they honoring her by using it? Yea I'd say so. Admittedly the above answer is totally just a theory but I feel it holds up. 4.Q: What battle took place in where Ashe found her bow? If I were to take a guess, I'd say it's the one where Lissandra freezes over her sisters and their armies, since we find the weapon of one of the sisters AND see soldiers mid combat frozen, which is consistent to what Lissandra has done in the past. "Lissandra sacrificed her sisters and the allies they had gathered, entombing the Watchers beneath a glacial barrier of magical ice that could never be melted." 5.Q: Who's grave was it? See above again to answer this. 6.Q: Is there really Avarosas Golden Hall with Mountains of True Ice? If there was it's never mentioned in lore outside of these comics and Ashe's new lore. I would argue heavily AGAINST the existence of such a place since I don't see Avarosa having the time or resources to create such a thing. It seems the sisters spent most of their life fighting and together. To create her own fancy hall is something that seems . . . unreasonable. It should be noted that Q4 and Q5 are possibly contradicted by Swain. However it could be the OTHER sister's bow and "grave".
: River in Shurima
According to Shurimans, the river is titled the Mother of Life (according to the short story Bloodline) and supposedly came from when the ancient Shurimans built the Sun Disc. This doesn't necessarily contradict what EdgeLady said, since it's just a different cultural perspective on the same river.

: Aegis: The Beyonder (Champion Concept)
I'm looking at it from a pretty noob perspective, but to me it seems worse than Karthus levels of UP/OP. The damage on these things is CRAZY high and the various utilities are pretty crazy too. However you did try to offset this with massive cooldowns, which I don't think works, especially for a support character. Again, you have tried to offset this with Chronos Breaker, but for how massive the other cooldowns are, it's not quite enough to make them immediately useful in the case of a bot lane deciding to all in. It seems most of his poke and real utility will come from his Q, and a lot of his other abilities will get lost. Admittedly I have little experience in balancing. I am however, a lore buff, and this idea (while totally cool) has some serious flaws. First being that Aegis doesn't really belong anywhere. While you set him in Piltover (a step in the right direction), to add him into official lore would require riot to confirm a definite alien species as another faction. I doubt this is super viable. There is also the issue of how Heimerdinger got his hands on it, instead of any of the richer clans in Piltover. In terms of lore/game crossovers, I'm not a huge fan of the phrase you use for his ult. "Aegis mathematically proves time cannot exist logically." is a HEAVY topic, and doesn't really make sense in the context of . . . anything really? Time kind of exists. There's even a special skin line universe based around it. Come up with a different explanation and it'd be much better. Maybe something along the line of overlapping timelines? That's be a little bit more logical. Overall, cool af idea! Just needs a lot of polish to fit in to the LOL universe.

: KDA Ahri Clothes
I would argue the main bit is a cut spandex body suit, with a small white jacket with ballgown-style sleeves and mesh. I'm going to tell you this now, getting a jacket like that is impossible. I don't think jackets that only cover the boobs exist. If you want to make it as easily as possible, I'd suggest using a leotard/scuba suit that you cut, a white bra with fabric attached on the bottom and some loose fabric attached for sleeves. The shoulder piece you'd have to make yourself. The issue with this suggestion is I don't think you'll get that shine that her clothes have. I found a cosplay that might be pretty similar to what you're gona end up with https://www.pikbee.com/media/BpulrL5jPkq which is a cosplayer's "closet cosplay" of KDA Ahri

: About the new Skins/Event
: "Demons and Cowboys? THIS ISN'T THE WILD WEST"
I have no issue with the skins being demon themed. My biggest issue is that they made Lucian part demon. WHYYYYYY. I know skins are alternate universes but his main thing is hating and killing evil and demon type stuff. And now they make him half demon, and excuse all of his abilities as demon powers? It's a stupid complaint but it bothers me so much.
: Uhhh is Lucian's, Thresh's & Urgot's skin even called "High Noon"?
If they call that Lucian skin a High Noon I'm not gona lie, I will be pissed. It randomly adds a bunch of demon stuff to a line that never included it. And what's worse for me is that they gave it to one of the main anti-demon characters in the lore. It pisses me off that they make Lucian fight a demon with demon powers when he would NEVER do that. That's a Vayne{{champion:67}} move.
: who are the gayest champions?
{{champion:84}} Would likely be nonjudgemental about her partner and maybe even interested in exploring, so pan/bi curious. {{champion:104}} and {{champion:4}} because dear god I want it T-T and also they have an interesting dynamic. No reason why not tbh {{champion:222}} I would say more ace, because she's just crazy and not much else. {{champion:202}} potentially also ace/aro because he seems to have a sense of aesthetic that doesn't revolve around gender and I doubt he's particularly interested in getting physical. Then anything from the void/spiritual ({{champion:121}} {{champion:90}} {{champion:432}} {{champion:31}} {{champion:105}} {{champion:9}} {{champion:120}} {{champion:53}} {{champion:3}} {{champion:203}} {{champion:96}} {{champion:56}} {{champion:421}} {{champion:35}} {{champion:161}} etc is p much off the list as well. Then everyone else is free for interpretation and honestly who cares they're all something.

Fae'lor is the city it was a part of, and it's found on an island left of the Placidium as a small white dot with a name. According to a story that was accidentally released early by Riot, The Dreaming Cave [](http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/The_Dreaming_Cave#XII) In this story it seems that Syndra's lore is getting a rework and that her fortress was floated somewhere North of its original location. The reason it has no art is because it never had any, no concept or finalized piece was ever released by Riot. So they don't have anything to put unless they are hiding something/making something new

: Are there orphanages in the Noxus? What happens to orphans?
Noxus is about being resilient and strong, I doubt they'd have a serious system of social care to help their citizens. Maybe some towns in the areas they conquered have something better, but as far as the Noxus high command is concerned you need to learn how to be tough at every age, so while they might not be perfectly ok with letting orphans run on the streets (which will likely happen anyways, and it does) due to security issues and stealing, it is a good way to pick out the strong and resilient. And for those that ask/seek for help, they send to work AND care AND lowkey training. It's mentioned in Riven's lore that she was stronger than her fellow trainees in the army due to her farm work life. As far as Noxus would be concerned; That's GREAT!! You have someone helping you get food for your large army, you have growing soldiers for said army, and you have potentially BETTER soldiers for said army. TLDR; letting kids have a hard childhood leads to those kids either dying off cuz they're weak or succeeding even better in strength obsessed Noxus. So orphanages in our world are counterproductive in Noxus.

: Canon lore
Riot's bigger mistakes within lore mostly lie in the Freljord. They haven't clearly defined the aesthetics and lifestyles of each of the major clans we know, and like you said, most champions from there have next to nothing in terms of lore. I'm sure they're working on it, but really the only recent updates to it were the Brand lore rework and the map showing somewhat of the scale we should be thinking of the Freljord. Maybe the Nunu stuff will bring some more! For Bandle City, it's cannon that it's somewhere in the spirit realm, and not actually on Runeterra. It moves around on purpose on the map, since it mentions in the little descriptions when you click on it that it's accessed through several portals on Runeterra that are in the Yordle language. We don't have a lot of lore on it since most of the Yordles live outside of it, but it's got some stuff if you dig in. I don't know when they could expand on it, but I'm sure ~someday~ it will happen
: Interesting thing about the World Runes...
Oh shit the next world rune might have something to do with Zilean or Ekko then, since it's time themed. Either that or potentially something to do with Hextech. That's a really good catch!!

: Need Help Feeling Comfortable Transitioning Into PVP
Repeating a lot of advice already said, and some not: 1. Play with some friends 2. Stay positive in chat, or ignore it 3. Try to diversify a little what you play, or try our stuff just to see how it feels from the other side. This helps you get better in general 4. Don't be afraid of surrender. Sometimes, it's not worth to keep going just because you can. 5. Do keep playing PVP. In the end that is how you learn, and it's not always as toxic as what you experienced. Feel free to add me if you want to give PVP or get some advice in a bot game btw! I'm Qazsarea in the game and I'm on pretty often since it's summer.

I personally adore playing Garen and I've never had a major issue with Darius in lane. If he roams then things get tricky but Garen vs Darius is very much manageable if you're not stupid about it.

It's a bit bulky and not there for much of a reason and I'm kinda meh about it. Yea I though it looked out of place too. Admittedly, it makes sense since she's on the road and needs to carry everything she owns, but it does ruin the aesthetic a bit.
: If you look at the actual in-game model, she has a wooden luggage thing strapped to her waist. Yeah, the butt is a bit big, but the camera is also right in front of it, so it can be forgiven somewhat. Not all the way, but somewhat. Akali is likely based off of historical female ninja to an extent, who were basically the queens of femme fatale seduction. Take Evelynn and multiply that by 20. That's historical, real world female ninja. They promised not to oversexualize _WITHOUT REASON,_ and when the historical counterpart to your character literally sleeps with men to get an opening to kill them, there's not a lot you can do with that without sexualizing it. [Here's a link](https://youtu.be/MHlzYEu3UDI) to Gaijin Goomba's video on Senran Kagura, a Japanese game with extremely highly sexualized female ninja, and his talk of the history and culture behind this game that proves that it's not just for fan service.

Here's the thing, her ingame model is fine, because the femme fatale _was not the theme_ that they stuck to. As I mentioned in the post her in game model is fine. I like it a lot actually! But the angle that they put in the splash art is needlessly sexual. She is in a battle, she doesn't have to look as if she's about to take of your pants instead of your head. Female ninjas being seductresses is fine. Akali however, is not the kunoichi Gaijin mentioned. She is an active "male-like" ninja. Also, keep in mind that what she wears isn't normal day to day clothes either. In no way do she personify the female ninja that is mentioned by Gaijin aside from having one bit of art that is sexy. Her overall theme isn't sex and espionage, otherwise they wouldn't give her pants and a focus on weaponry/fighting. She is a fighting rogue who personifies the traditions and techniques of male ninjas. Therefore, she deserves to be treated that way. I am A-ok with sexy characters. Characters whose **theme** is to be sexy, like Evelynn are lovely! It's an appealing concept that I am totally behind because I like me some good looking people too. But if that's not the _point_ then it doesn't need to be there aside from objectification.
: Why Karma is Considered a VGU
While I agree with you that her theme is heavily underrepresented and confusing in her character, I do heavily disagree with your criticisms about her art. I personally _adore_ her art. It was one of the things that made me want to play her so much; she was gorgeous and her kit could be used safely and with distance between you and the enemy. Admittedly I don't have an emotional attachment to old Karma. I don't personally know what she was like before and how her abilities and theme fit her. I agree that her current them is . . . questionable. All she has is a biography that says she is powerful, but can't use this power. An officially pacifist character in LOL is not a good move. Her abilities are not particularly explained, though the shield can be seen as reasonable and I'm perfectly happy with mantra in terms of how it fits her design. I'm not a pro (or even that good of a) player so I can't comment much on her kit, but I do agree that she is very item number dependent, which is a shame and an issue I hope they fix, because she's really fun! I play her as a support and she brings a good amount to the table in poke and keeping her bot partner safe through shield and speed buff. I personally feel that a large/total rework to her lore and some messing with her abilities will fix her. The biggest issue she has is that her theme/direction is not clear or at worst, contradictory.
