? Seems more like your problem. He can't push the wave, he trades DECENTLY at lvls 1-2 but still gets outtraded in longer/burstier trades. He has no lane prio, very weak waveclear early and no kill pressure. He needs buffs to his early game rn, I'd gladly trade that useless W buff they gave him in s7 for it.

She has very low mobility, small range, and can be jumped on in an instant. She trades off that for insane damage and CC. Veigar, he's mostly fine. I would prefer a cap on his passive though.

xd, Imagine complaining about one of the most telegraphed champion with clear counterplay that barely does anything in the first 12 minutes of the game if you aren't a terrible plat Zed who can't dodge Veigar's abilities and walks into the stun taking minion aggro and dying at lvl 4. Veigar is an awful laner and Zilean isn't even that good in lane either. He doesn't have the mana to be pulling off double bombs all the time and Veigar E still has a delay and you can dodge it even while slowed.

I think true damage in the game is fine (except conqueror lol it's bs). Small chunks of true damage like red buff, smite, Olaf's E (and executes but they aren't really an issue) are fine, a keystone that makes EVERY bruiser deal true damage 20% of their damage as true damage isn't.

: so popularity now equals strength? lul. only because they are picked less doesn't make them weaker, apart from the fact that {{champion:99}} actually has almost the same pickrate as {{champion:157}} and {{champion:236}} with 708,808 games this month to 825,540/864,327. Plus {{champion:103}} {{champion:45}} {{champion:161}} {{champion:30}} also all have not so low pickrates too while maintaining high winrates. Banrates are just high for these 2 champs simply because they are popular and the community bans them because chances are high that an enemy wants to pick them when they are on the strong side, instead of wasting their ban on a champion that prob won't get picked. Still, there are stronger champions out there that are just not so popular. And {{champion:157}} and {{champion:236}} have nerfs coming up too, btw.
{{champion:45}} is good in low elo only because people don't know how to punish him in lane and abuse his telegraphed kit.

Idk about Zyra but against Veigar: Kassadin, Katarina, Fizz are the main 3. Electrocute is probably better on Veigar because it helps you out in the early/mid game.

Let's be honest games don't go past 50 minutes, there are very, very little games that go that far, I'm talking about around 40 minutes where people get items like merculiar scimitar, Mikael's Crucible etc. That's where champions like Veigar or Nasus suck, due to their unreliability.

He's really weak once you hit higher ranks (D2-D1) and struggles against quite a bunch of meta midlaners + the meta pacing is too fast.

Most of the time it's an overkill anyway. You're just wasting the damage most of the time, meanwhile you could've invested into more cdr or defense to not get forced to back after getting hit by 2 abilities.

: But what you aren't factoring in is how hard a level 1 electrocute proc is. Level 2 isn't as hard if you are aggressive as hell, but you can be out-traded at the same time. Proc'ing electrocute past 3 is more common. Even then, if it is proc'ing on your champ at level 1-2, you are too forward and being poked too much and too often. Especially if at level 1 you get proc'd with a DH hit on you. I like DH as it is right now as it gives other flexibility. Think of Veigar, Kha'zix, and a few others. It's always the same runes or you're useless. A Kha'zix running conquering is pretty bad because these champs kits aren't designed for that rune. Their rotation is get in, do damage, get out. That means burst. Conquerer isn't a burst rune. Therefore it's not a rune to run. People better start learning that you need at least one tank on the team for aggro or else everyone is getting nuked completely.

He's fine, the only real thing that makes him decent is glacial augment. Meta doesn't really favor him, but if his 4 biggest counters are banned he's gonna just be that scaling control mage with bunch of burst that if not shutdown early, can be problematic to deal with in the mid game, while in the late game he isn't that great as believe he is (compare him to actual hypercarries like Kai'Sa, Irelia, Kassadin etc.) due to the counteritemization like QSS, Mikael's, Edge of Night, Banshee's etc. Sure he will still be a threat but if you know what you're doing you will deal with him just fine.
