Just setting expectations on this. We've made it so health bars (should) now work properly with really large and with really small resolutions. There are still a bunch of 4k bugs that need some time dedicated to them (like minimap icons being itsy bitsy), and our changes will not fix those. However, we are painfully aware of this issue.

: To follow up on both this and your [Gnar/Kayn answer](https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/AEAHb3XZ-adding-skin-portraits-to-all-skins?comment=000e0001): If you are indeed considering unique portraits for Mega Gnar and SH Shadow Assassin & Rhaast, I seriously think you should consider making unique portraits for Kindred's skins- It's bad enough that people think that Lamb is the main character of the duo with what we have now, but putting Lamb in the spotlight with their skins as well, without letting Wolf a fair share in the portraits, would just strengthen this misconception and diminish Wolf once again. **My suggestion?** A unique, shared portrait of the masks/faces for each of the Eternal Hunters' current and future skins (But let's start with current skins for now), similarly to the design and composition of [their base portrait](http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/6.24.1/img/champion/Kindred.png). I think that it's just as important as unique icons for Gnar and Kayn, personally (even though you haven't decided on them either just yet). I'll be asking around about Kindred as well. Personally, I feel that Gnar/Kayn need the attention first, but I don't want to diminish Kindred's fantasy.

Wolf ain't no pet! Kindred gets around this problem on their base by having a unique asset. Without creating new assets, there isn't an elegant way to get both Lamb and Wolf in the skin crops. :(

It still isn't a significant gameplay indicator for Kayn there, fortunately. It does hold the transformation UI, but that's layered on top of this. Right now, I have it so Gnar and Kayn utilize their skin splashes when in their base form, but upon transforming they swap to their unique transformed art. I'm poking around trying to get more unique assets made, but that takes time and effort- so no promises there. All the same, I'm curious as to everyone's thoughts on this.

We're not thinking about animating portraits at this time. We're focusing on other larger projects, and smaller projects like this post are easier to fit within the cracks.

There are no changes to the ultimate skins with this. That's not to say we can't do any changes, but there currently are no plans for changing portraits for the stance swappers.

Yeah, it was shelved to put a little more polish onto it. Due to an error on our end, it wasn't removed from the patch notes. We're still talking about shipping it soon.

You're correct. B on ARAM is just recalling without the spell associated with it. As all of the 'simple recalls' are implemented as recalls, they interact with the B button the same as everything else.

In example, the parameter "recall animation" was previously empty but will now be changed to "idleani02" or whatever animation they change it to. Some characters work with quiet recalls. I think TF's is a perfect recall for him, it's a personal moment to himself, and he's a kinda standoffish guy. For Nasus, you feel some of the weight of his life. Jinx, on the other hand, would feel poor if she didn't have the action that she does.
: Can you guys think about spicing the less impressive recall animations up in the future as well? There are a handful of champs whose recall animations are just a dedicated idle animation. Darius is my man, but holding up his axe and staring off into the beyond isn't much better than standing still. It wouldn't take much effort to have him inspect the axe or run his hand along the blade before looking off into the distance, but it would make a world of a difference. Of course you should get the idle recalls out asap, but taking the project a step further could be some busywork for the animation crew in patches thereafter. Anyhow, at least my second-hand man Renekton is getting a new recall if Nasus and Darius aren't, and I'm still hyped! ^u^
I'm at least thinking of that space, but I can tell you that would be much harder to get going. I agree in the value though. That said, the "next step" (_if_ we go further), would be fixing crappier ones of the 'idle recalls'.

Highest rule: Absolutely no gameplay animations. I wanted to avoid confusion- as if you see gameplay animations, you should expect gameplay. I break this rule ONCE, and even that might change (Jax does an autoattack in the middle of a few other anims).

Permanent in that they *likely* won't be changed without an Update of some kind? Yes. A couple champions are particularly bad (Corki is pretty bleh, for instance), so we might give them some treatment a little sooner than later (this is still in talks, no promises, etc.).

That's actually how long her Idle3 is, hahaha. I tried to not have animations be repetitive though. Several characters have animations that are shorter than 8 seconds, so I had them go back to standing still after the 'recall' to prevent this issue.
: This is pretty cool. I just made some custom games to confirm that my favorite character does have a recall animation on all of his skins. His newest skin has a big recall animation, but for the rest of them, he just puts his hand to his hat and teleports away. It's small, but it's very fitting for him. I tried to pick the 'best' option for each champion, so it isn't a one-size fits all solution. I tried to stick to Idle variants more often than not, because Idle animations play infrequently, whereas emotes could play many times in a game.
