: I thought it was pretty awesome, though why do Tristana and Rumble look so fake? Their hair makes them look like smurfs or something that'd be designed for that live-action scooby doo movie, even the generic non-canon yordles look more real (or, you know, like yordles) and those two get like 10s of screentime to show off sona knocking them over.
They just look... off. Especially Trist since her toes don't exist. Everyone else, even the generic yordles as you mentioned, look fine. I'm still baffled by it.
: There's what? Three or four of you guys on the boards right?
Give or take.

Funny thing is I have a friend that plays crit nasus.

: I finally did it!
Need some more juggernaut appreciation.
: Client won't update
So it isn't just me. Damn.
: When they rework Mordekaiser they better keep interactions like that in the game. Can't you use an Ivern ghost on camps too?

Can't you use an Ivern ghost on camps too? If you could you wouldn't be able to instantly reap the camp.
: {{champion:157}} says hi
Except he can't crit at level one unless you buy {{item:1051}} which would probably not end well.

: The minute buffs are more of a push to make them played together. Realistically, based on what I've seen, I feel like their kits also synergize well. Xayah needs time to set up feathers to get out the best of her damage, and granted Rakan is the only one, like thresh or leona, but his kit holds the opponents down pretty well, with the charm/knock up, and adding in her own snare as well. On the flip side Rakan needs to be able jump around after getting in by moving to other champs and Xayah, similar to caitlyn or jinx, stays far enough away for him to benefit off of this. So its not like they're the definitive duo for bot lane, but they do seem to fit the group of champs that benefit of each other, I guess labels like engage supports and spacious adcs would fit them
That's a good explanation. But the fact that it seems the kit was made to synergize without the buffs still seems like a forced duo

: How Riot should approach Mordekaiser's eventual VGU
Despite that it's not his identity, I feel like mord needs SOME innate cc to some capacity if he's ever going to be a truly healthy champ. The way his kit is, there's nothing to change other than numbers. Mordekaiser is very much a stat-stick champ. The problem is, like you said, that he becomes too feast or famine. If mord had some way to stick to people that isn't {{item:3116}}, {{item:3152}}, or {{item:3146}}, it's something else he can be balanced around. The current kit is essentially "Do you do enough damage?" and the answer is whether or not you're useful. If you're not doing damage, you bring nothing else. Having even a small form of light cc makes it so he isn't entirely reliant on damage to be useful. About where you said that Mordekaiser doesn't need a shield, at this point it is pretty iconic. They just need to find a way to let mord negate damage without it being "invisible" or unhealthy.

: I don't play Morde all that often tbh, I just found it interesting for those like me who are illiterate In the art of the Master of Metal. I'm more literate in the art of Shrooms, but that's just me.
It used to be almost always E max pre-rework, but the spell's base damage took a big hit and the % shield isn't useful in lane when you're only up against 1 or 2 people at most. Maxing W provides a massive heal if you get two champs in it and reduces the cooldown from 12-8s.
: Hey if you wanna have fun on Morde again, and be actually Viable, go play TT, alot of his core items/Great items are there and its so small it allows him to be good.
It's not that I'm not having fun on Morde, but he just keeps taking hit after hit. I'm pretty sure the only buff he got season 6 was just to give him elder ghost, which rarely happens anyways because games end quickly. I don't count the AI "fixes" as buffs because they didn't help much.
: Weekly Reminder Morde still has 170+ Bugs
Riot is too busy indirectly nerfing the guy to actually bugfix him. FeelsMordeMan
: that is annoying but tahm is garbage in URF when you think hed be pretty good, same with most wardens
Probably has to do with the fact that they specifically made Tahm Kench's Q not 80% cooldown. I think they made that ability only 60% cooldown reduction.
: xin is broken in urf? ??? wat
His Q strikes reduce his other ability cds by a flat second. His q only has like a 2-3 second cd. You can faceroll the keyboard and you'll win almost every 1v1 trade with your perma attack speed buff.
: Can we stop the ARURF hate please?
Because it changed the fact that you could pick. That's a pretty big reason to not like the mode. If Riot's going to talk about a "stale urf meta" while the game already is a stale meta by nature, that's just stupid. The only thing URF needed was some more rumble-type changes to make those really bad champs decent and more bans. I was actually really wanting to try some new things in URF, but now it seems that's out of the question unless I'm lucky.
: cuz the grades dont matter ? you can get an S and lose or get an B and win play for the W not the S
Except that there's no downside to having it in your match history?
Cowseed (NA)
: I would rather a melee bot-laner. Like what riot tried with {{champion:157}} and {{champion:82}}.
that'll be three failed attempts at trying to make bot lane melees work. I don't ever recall bot lane yas as a common thing (Started in season 6) but I've only heard that patch 5.16 and 5.17 mordekaiser was broken. I don't think it's even possible. Melee's can't function as consistent damage dealers unless they're outlandishly broken.

: How is {{champion:67}} tryhard? or {{champion:26}} ?

Normally you'd only be suffering one bumb stun, but with 5 zileans, that's a potential 10 bombs, or NINE stuns.
: I figured it out!! Using the steps to change the code "Change leagueClientOptIn = yes to leagueClientOptIn = no", I also went to (C:)>Riot Games>League of Legends and then i launched the launcher called "lol.launcher.admin.exe" it worked for me if i was unable to launch the legacy client from the newer client. i hope this works for you guys :)
ApeLogic (NA)
: That's not working for me. It still goes to the beta client even after I make that change
Ralanr (NA)
: Hmm...I see your point. What boots does he build?
Usually {{item:3020}} , sometimes {{item:3158}} if you run a build with low cdr.
: people need to get over the "clASSifications"
Except they're there for a purpose. It's to give an idea of how a champ is played. That's like saying even though Leblanc is classified as an assassin I should play her as a tank because I need to "get over" the classifications.
Ralanr (NA)
: I guess you could say (and you're going to hate me) that they're both skirmishers more than they are assassins.
Even then, Jax is properly labeled as such; Ekko is still classified assassin on the client.
: I think it would be fine if they just got rid of the shield.
One or the other at least. Having both is crazy; similar to the speed increase and slow on his passive.
: there is another champ with a stun, a way to negate damage, have a gap closer and def stats and damage amplifiers he is called JAX to me ekko is just another version
Fine, but Jax requires a leap to an enemy champion, and the stun range isn't nearly as big as ekko's W.
: The "fantasy" (I hate that word when it's to do with character design) is that he's the utility assassin who lacks straight up burst but makes up for it with the ability to do big things if he plays his cards right. Of course that's not how it turned out, but that was the intention.
I don't know. Seems like if an assassin has too much utility, they aren't assassins; they're tanks or supports.
