: Hey! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. You're not being ignored and this isn't being lost in the depths of the boards :) Let me make sure I'm understanding you correctly - When you say we're moving away from teasers, what kinds are you referring to? In-game easter eggs on PBE? A video teaser before we show the gameplay trailer? For every champion, we (the publishing team) think about the best way to intro the champion to players. It's not something we decide lightly - we spend a lot of time talking and planning. Sometimes we do something that doesn't work, which feels bad. But we try to remember those learnings. [Yuumi](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZWEV3bACZo) and [Qiyana](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVuWMbmHEWw) did have champion teasers that came out before the main gameplay trailer. To shed some light on that process, we spent a lot more time and resources on those videos (esp. the 3D intros of the [Qiyana](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cttriTiPjuU) and [Yuumi](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZWEV3bACZo) Trailer) than we have in our past champ videos.. and I think the overall quality surpasses a lot of the stuff we showed in the past (besides the million $ CGs of course). We didn't do an in-game Easter Egg for Yuumi and Qiyana, but that doesn't mean it's off the table! In fact, we have one in the works... The point is that we're going to work on cool stuff that we think you'll like to see and it won't always be the same every time. For the login screens, yeah the loss of login screens really sucks. Part of it is out of my control. Like, you won't actually be able to see them anymore with the new client. That doesn't mean we gave up. We asked, what do people like about the login screens? An answer we got was that they really brought the champion and the thematic to life. Esp. with the awesome music. So for Pantheon, we created a [Champion Theme](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Zub8agQjrw) that showed off more of the love we put into the art behind-the-scenes, and how the champion came to life over time. Over some really dope music. Do people like it more than the old login screen videos we did? I dunno, it depends on your taste :P But the point is, we're going to keep experimenting with ways on how we reveal our stuff in a meaningful way.
I didn't realize the the new client would be an issue. Understand what it looks like to us, though. Border bundles are getting extremely expensive. No work on login screens and an announcement that we won't get any new PvE event modes. It almost appears as if Riot is ready to give up or something.

Did you guys release an update to Anticheat _**just this patch?**_ Because while I'm not bugsplatting, I'm getting game "minifreezes" like what happened when Dark Star Thresh released. My screen will freeze for about 2 seconds. There seems no rhyme or reason which makes me hesitant to report it via the bug reporter.
: Im actually more irritated at the champions i get to pick from. I can't begin to tell you how many times i've selected a champ from the carousel, even one of the common ones, and then never see them in the champ buy list from that point on. I played one game today where i plucked a darius from the champ buy, intending to build him up and go for the Imperial buff, but throughout the rest of the game i NEVER saw another darius appear, even with rerolls. Meanwhile, everyone and their mother has 4 3 stars, and 3 2 stars. It's absurd how rapidly unbalanced the game gets. Also, you should allow some sort of FF for players. I'm genuinely sick and tired of having to play round after round when a very clear winner has already been decided thanks to the 3 full items and two 3 star champs one player winds up with before the 2nd carousal.
What Raven said. This game also seems to reward flexible thinking. Going into a game KNOWING you'll go for Imperial, KNOWING you'll go for Noble won't always win you the game. Changing strategy late in the game leaves you weak, though.

Seen this happen with Fiora's placed anywhere except the frontline (with that low max health, it's hard to justify putting her frontline). But it's like if they have to walk more than 2 spaces to the enemy, they just... freeze their AI.

Yeah, I notice {{champion:114}} Fioras are particularly braindead, If you stick them in the backline (I do because of their low max health), they'll just chill there and do nothing for a good 5-7 seconds. They're wasted space and feel like theyr'e only good if you're going for a Noble build and/or get the luck of the draw.
: Please fix this delayed loading issue at the start of games. It prevents us from loading into the game in time to chose our first champion from the first carousel round, meaning I end up skipping the carousel and am only ready to play in the first PvE round with one of the remaining champions from the carousel automatically chosen for me. My game settings are all set to low quality or disabled for the best performace but I still can't load in time.
I second this. I don't think I have the same issue, however as someone with a lower-spec PC, I feel I'm next if Riot doesn't care about us lower-spec gamers that help make their game as huge as it is. :I

Yeah.. I've been tempted to leave game often but I'm not sure if there's LeaverBuster for this mode. When I get basically 1.5 full items and I see 1st place has a 3-item {{champion:110}} Varus and a {{champion:18}} Trist with {{item:3026}} GA (iirc). It's not fun. And it seems to happen far too often.

I'd rather you guys kinda come clean on this: * You're already charging microtransactions, which concerns me for a _beta_. * You're already adding ranked (for something I feel is heavily RNG which is weird) * Simply a lot of your posts, tweets, etc. on the situation lean toward this already seeming like a done deal.

Why don't add and press/hold mechanic to it? Press Q to punch (Old Q) Hold Q to grab and kiss (Actual Q) There are a lot of thing you could try, instead of monotony, try something new maybe.
Same as the other two, though I was already logged in. The new ult is nice and is more than just a press R and move around. However if I had a choice between the two, I'd pick new ult. It's just more impactful while requiring a little more thought than loli'mjumping. I actually thought new Zac was a good rework. :(

I actually love to use Ohmwrecker when it's a viable option. I also think Ohmwrecker would make more sense in more coordinated teams. People are trained not to go under tower by any means. With good enough communication, I think it could be a decent, if niche, item! And the item itself is buggy. It * repeats glitchy tower "pings" to everyone but the Ohm-user that they're getting targetted by tower. * it seams the targeting post-freeze is random. It's be nice if it just targetted the Ohm-user given they're usually the tank/engager. Ohmwrecker seems to make sense as an item for closing out a game that's already decided, but the enemy is just stalling, and frankly, I'm all for speedy games. Games that push 50-60m should actively discouraged in today's world where so many things take up players' time. The success of most arena shooters I'd say could be contibuted to their "drop in/drop out" nature which is hard to pull off in League.

I'm not sure if you're still taking comments, but perhaps a way to ping the charges one might have on {{item:3302}} {{item:3097}} {{item:3401}} instead of pinging Gold to Completion. How to do it would be a problem. It just sucks when people autopilot, forgetting you have a Targon's support that you literally get nothing but good out of letting them take a few minions (unless you're worried about wave management, that is).

These are fictional characters (tons of them!) with only 2 confirmed to like the same gender. LOL! **LOVE** THE CHAMPION RAINBOW! I will say, though, my problem with Varus wasn't that he was gay, but that old Varus had to die to get that. Retcons are a sign of bad writing and old Varus lore didn't need a retcon, just a little sprucing up. His in-game doesn't seem to even fit with his new lore... and it felt... very tacked-on and pander-y, no matter how beautiful the story, comics, and video were. It would've been better to have that story on a whole new champion and really sell the duality (triality?) concept. Also, Zyra/Neeko ship when? :3c

I'm not. Her character isn't defined by her sexuality, that's a plus. I just don't like the hinting at possibly retconning {{champion:163}} to be trans. Look, I'm fine with trans. Fine with a trans champ, too! BUT DO NOT CHANGE ESTABLISHED LORE! That and you'd change the fantasy behind a character. Little tiny details that change when you retcon a champ like so would be... terrible. Made a NEW trans champion and don't just decide "oh, I'll play it safe to put it on an old champ". {{champion:110}} was already received as a mixed bag by some lore buffs. The video, music, etc. were BEAUTIFUL but... it's a shame old Varus had to die for it, you know? That and Varus is possibly the game's crappiest Darkin. His in-game theme does NOT match his lore. It felt like it was just... smacked on. I will say, though, that {{champion:266}} lore was kinda bland and was an okay retcon. Also, I think {{champion:44}} could actually be made canonically gay/bi if they really wanted to go that route and have very little blowback... just... keep the Ez ship as a meme. I can think of better stories, maybe not ships, but stories. Lore shouldn't be determined by memes. >:(   Anyway, I'm sorry I went on a rant there. tl;dr: I hope the Taliyah bit teased in Neeko's interactions was just a nudge and not an actual retcon. LoL lore needs to march forward. You can't rewind in League when you make mistakes. You can only make new actions in the future. Have an actual NEW champion that's trans. It doesn't intentionally limit the spotlight and it doesn't change an established lore.

You read wrong. Taliyah was INITIALLY conceived as a trans champ. And this info is months old. Daniel Klein (who no longer works at Riot, I should add) abandoned the idea, too. The timing now that League has their first openly gay new champion is... odd to say the least. {{champion:163}} is still the same Taliyah you know and love. However, I feel you on {{champion:110}} . They could've... just made a better darkin. Instead of just slapping it on him. While I love the story, the video, and everything... it shouldn't have been Varus. It should have been something new. Hell, they could have fulfilled a fan favorite. {{champion:44}} I think most of the community would be happy with it! Put a little spin and say that... well, he doesn't even know Ezreal, however. But they retconned HARD... which is a sign of lazy af writing. If they had someone like Neeko in the works, they could've avoided looking like fake af virtue-signalers.

: Loading % reflects total game loading rate (how close the game is to actually starting). Tips will be included in the carousel space in the top left, along with a range of other stuff. Goal is to have it be able to handle multiple pieces of info that rotate and/or get clicked through. Won't have pictures for the first version, but should get them in there soon. Chat's included in the game chat logs, so anything caught there will be caught in loading screen chat too.

There are, but they are few and far between. Zyra has a different playstyle than other mids, I think. I also think mobility creep's leaking back in which is a bane to one of the squishiest immobile champs in the game. She did get some changes, however, along with Morgana, I believe? They were meant to give players more agency in where they went with the two. I believe Morg got some CD refund on her W when you triggered her psuedo-Spell-Vamp passive (on champs, large minions and monsters) Zyra's changes, I think, revolved around getting progress on seed charges if you killed certain minions or champions. It also made ulted plants tankier. Have you player her since the end of last season? That's when they changed her. 7.24

: Skins VFX - yep, they're on the way. Blade Queen at least should hit PBE today, not certain on exact timing for Program. Coven and Bloodstone should already be there. Nerfs - Assessment off a bunch of playtesting is that the current changelist is likely slightly power positive. Going into this patch Liss is already in pretty well performing spot, so our room to tone down on nerfs and/or swap them for different ones with less impact isn't great. Will be adding the 10 base damage at rank 1 onwards back onto W though, no need to nerf early laning at least, later in the game's where we're more cautious about overall power. Also, if our assessment ends up being wrong and she ends up meaningfully weaker than before my starting point would be to consider putting power back in where it was removed. Since some of it's not easy to spot on PBE, here's the current full changelist: Nerfs * Removal of old mana passive * W - Damage 70-190 +0.3 (was 70-230+0.4) * R - Ratio to 0.6 (was 0.7) Buffs * New passive - Enemy champions who die near Lissandra become Frozen Thralls. Frozen Thralls hunt out living enemies and slow enemies around them by 25%. After 4s they explode, dealing 120-520 (+0.3 AP) magic damage * MP5/level to 0.8 (was 0.4) * Smoother AAs - animation and actual timing better synched, missile speed to 2200 (was 2000), Base attack speed increased to 0.656 from 0.625. AS ratio for AS scaling is still 0.625 * Q - Mana cost 60-72 (was 75) * W - Mana cost 40 (was 50) * E - Missile speed starts at 1200, decelerates to 640, takes 1.25s to get to end point (1050 range). Makes short casts a bit more useable without adding faster long range initiation or escapes. Previous version for reference is 850 speed throughout, takes 1.25s to get to end point (1050 range) Can understand concern around removal of some ratio and a bit of base damage later in the game, in particular from the angle of 'will Lissandra still be able to burst squishy targets?'. Belief off testing so far is yes. If that stops being the case will move power around so she's still got some burst threat though.

: I personally avoid ROA because first back is a choice between AP and mana, and it just doesn't feel strong enough to compete with the 20% CDR rush items. Maybe if the build path was {{item:3802}} {{item:3067}} {{item:1052}}? I've also thought ROA might be a cool space to re-introduce DFT as a mage item effect that builds out of Bami's Cinder.
It certainly wouldn't build from {{item:3802}}. It seems those items are meant to finish with 20% CDR. RoA feels more like it's supposed to be more of an investment into lategame. Build paths like that might be problematic, allowing certain champs to be strong at all points of the game. Granted, this is just a bronzie's point of view of the item. Feel free to correct.

: Yeah, from memory his performance top is noticeably weaker than mid/jungle. We're not trying to push him into any of those positions specifically, just looks at this point like his kit's better suited to mid and jungle than top based off how the game and his playstyles have evolved.
Overall, it feels like a lot of damage tops are slowly shifting to midlane. {{champion:126}} {{champion:39}} to name just a few. I'm not sure if I'd credit this to tanks or just the fact that MID/JG allows for greater playmaking around the map.

Didn't you guys at once point agree there was way too much damage in League and said you're making steps to curb the damage? From the looks of it... at least from this pass alone... you're removing _defenses,_ which feels like people are going to be doing even more damage.

When Sion died, the ice cage was created around him (and then exploded) but Sion was still coded to revive so there was an invisible ghost slapping ppl that u couldnt counter because u couldnt see (obviously) :D

Or does half of the entire pot get sacrificed in order to supercharge the other half for immediate results? Original Post: My thoughts on top lane Viktor, however. {{champion:112}} Timewarp Tonic may make his playstyle even MORE annoying to lane against, considering his movespeed on Evolved Q is so obnoxious already, now he can get sped up even more while chugging pots? I'm unsure what changes are coming for Klepto, however. I could deal with the movespeed from his Q spam if only he ran out of mana. I could deal with the mana if only he wasn't so slippery. On top of that, he gets a shield. _**It just feels VERY uninteractive.**_

The Barricade looks a little... off. It's the edges. It looks wonky. It's like how wonky Nexus Siege borders looked against the smooth edges of everything else. Just compare the Barriade to the rest of the tower, even. The Barricade looks too... "sharp"?

I still feel he's a bit too strong. I've only seen him a total of two times but it feels bad to be able to absolutely trash lane only for Viktor to be able deny any and all engages. It's either the shield, the W, the movespeed he gets during his cast paradigm, or the fact that he just never seems to run out of mana despite spamming his skills. He plays like a wuss, denies engages and is just a general anti-fun playstyle. My personal view as someone who wants Viktor mid to come back would be to target or remove the movespeed.

: you can go ask riot katheykhaos. Her top 5 hardest champions to created were lulu, bards, zyra, jinx, and thresh and so on because they all have different models, yet lulu receive a skin every year. Don't make me pull out receipt. It's all about popularity.
But... Katey isn't a skin creator. She _**just** recently_ started learning 3D modeling from SilverUnicorn. Katey is (the sweetest ever) skins Quality Assurance. I can understand Zyra being hard to animate, though. You have to deal with her body model, 2 different plant models, the models of her seeds, the models of the E, Q, and R actually channeling. That's around 7 different models (8 if you count the slightly different coloration of passive/active seeds)... AND you have to animate most all of these and add particle effects (seeds are EASY to animate, I'd imagine)... and I don't think ulted plants are separate models, they're just scaled up and animate faster. Then, you're moving to sound work for stuff like DS Zyra. Lots of her sounds got changed for her abilities on DS. Only her voice remained the same (probably something to do with her voice actress not being available, though I'd be happy if they pulled a DT Heimer and made it an ultimate :shrug:). Honestly, I'd accept if Riot just said "they aren't popular champions so we don't want to put all that effort into making huge skins for them that likely won't sell". They're a company and putting resources into skins that won't sell is... well... not smart. Just so long as they made good skins for them, I'm sold. DS Zyra was beautiful. At least she doesn't have a line of skins that just seems like they were pooped out randomly like Xerath, Maokai, or Malphite. Her skins are well-curated and I'm thankful for that. I think all we need is for Zyra lore to be updated and I'll be completely happy with my dragon sorc- I mean... fire- I mean... plant bae.
