We really, *REALLY* need to depolarize, but uuuh... glhf with that. *Rakan seemed to take a moment, allowing others to speak.* *The Kiilash was first to speak - as he was the first spoken to.* *His dagger (if you could call it that) stayed sheathed, as they snarled;* "I belong not to this place; I was promised a glorious, unending hunt from the Noxians. Then I witnessed them hunting lesser beings, beings who clearly wished nothing to do with them. As if, to think, that a great hunter-warrior would waste his time on such putrid game as Navori... is a disgrace." *He raised a strange necklace of sorts, a few dozen small bones and teeth hanging from it.* "These were gathered from hunts I had committed to in this place... against those who were weaker than I. Against your fellow Noxians. Their bones are proof of kill, of glory. They screamed as cowards - you will not have my blade." *The Lhothan girl seemed to just back away into a corner, hoping to disappear into the shadows, not daring to speak in fear of her opinions leading to injury.* *The Marai spoke up second, glassy hazel-green eyes staring down at Marr;* "The only reason why us Marai are so far from ocean, so far in land, is to watch over something the Noxians had done; an unnatural disaster, a vile disease spread for their own sake. I don't care for those of the land much, but I know that there are some things that are far too destructive to ignore, even when it does not affect my kin directly. You wouldn't have had our support *in the first place*." *Her tail swished about, moderately annoyed at this Vastaya.* *Third, the Shimon;* "What you say *is* true, but we are not one to wage these wars. And quite honestly, I'm insulted at the idea that you would think for just a second that we would fight anyone who doesn't force our hand." *He had finished counting the coinage, for now, and simply pocketed it, making preparations to leave.* "In short, as I feel a human would put it; 'don't care, not my problem, goodbye.'" *Rakan, the whole time, had only been taking enough time - with the pocket watch opened so he could keep an eye on Marr, in case she tried anything - only bothered getting to the bar, and obtaining another bottle of sake.* *The cork was pulled loudly, and he poured himself a drink.* *...* *Aw hell, who am I kidding? He chugged half the bottle, wiping the excess away from his lips. He thanked the tender a moment later, resealing it for later.* "What do I think?" *He smiled, closing the pocket mirror and sliding it into the folds of his clothing.* "I think you just lost. And you're borderline insane. And a total fool. Probably also a half-Yordle, if I were to wager the rest of this Sake about it." *He was still smiling. It never went away.* *Rakan's smile, still somehow somewhat eerie, but equally... heartwarming? How, though?* "Noxus doesn't help for free. You scratch their back, they'll scratch yours. But when they ask, they ain't askin' - they're *telling*. You know that as well as anyone else who 'accepted' Noxian rule. And if you say no... they'll snap your spine like it was a twig in a forest, because they really don't care about you. "Nothing but a bunch of power-hungry, dull-edged axeheads. And I pity them."

For the most part, nobody even seemed to notice, except for a young Shimon who swept them away deftly with his tail, counting them in a corner.* "They came because they saw riches that were not theirs - that they lusted for. Don't lie to yourself, it only makes the delusions more insane in nature." *After the showing of his cape, he - again - had the pocket mirror out, this time spinning it on it's edge across the back of his palm, before catching it in hand; snapped it open, and began fixing his hair. Again.* *He was facing away from Marr, but had the mirror allowing him to keep an eye out for any sudden movements.* *Of the few patrons inside, they were rather excited in nature; only the Kiilash was unswayed from Rakan's act, staring intensely, curious to see how such a small creature could overcome such a dexterous opposition. Perhaps an ally to the Vastaya? Perhaps not?* *For a moment, Rakan laughed.* "You really are just another axehead. Waiting to be sharpened, only to be dulled and turned blunt from violence that you would enact. Excusing every vile deed done to get what your precious little commune wants, justifying the means of an end. Justifying wounding of a land, wounding of the spirits around us." *If Marr could even see details in the mirror, she would have noticed Rakan's face practically in a snarl.* "Justifying the rape of the wild magics we strive to protect." *The hand mirror snapped shut.* "No, I'm clearly wrong. We should allow these Noxian overlords you kneel to, all of them, to trample over us and take whatever they so damn well please from us. Whether it be blood or young, body or soul." *Rakan sighed, and turned.* "Clearly, allowing them to do what they wish - to kill, without discretion - is right. Or maybe... just *maybe*... it's right because we get to survive, for a little while." "But which do you prefer? An existence without meaning, or a brief life with?" *Where there had once been a smile, was now a scowel. A relatively sour expression, with one word following his phrases.* "*Mu-Takl.*" *At that, the room went dead silent; everyone inside, now staring. The Kiilash's massive paw at his knife, the young Lhothan girl seemingly on the verge of tears, the Marai simply staring while staying upright via their staff.* *Even the Shimon seemed to realize something serious was on the verge of going down - halted the counting of coinage to stare.*

A slight adjustment, and her reflection was directly next to his.* > > "See?" *She rolled her eyes beneath her hood and flashed him a slightly bemused smile, she looked back to the mirror and felt him so close... His radiant presence always somehow chased away the bad thoughts she had. If only they could stay together entwined forever and forget about everything else while he kissed the sadness away... Perhaps one day. But for now...* "Lets go." *She pulled away and continued in the direction of the small shrine some way away where the human had taken the artifact, she didn't need to look over her shoulder to see if he was following, he always did.*

Maybe over the eastern mountain ranges? Not been around Vlonqo in a while." *Rakan was walking slowly, foot being placed behind foot, backwards. The smile was wide, his arms were spread, the winglike cloak glowing, the small pocket mirror arcing through the air, kicked off the back of a foot as Rakan idly did a sweeping motion or three, eventually landing on his feet again, catching the pocket mirror in hand before bowing in full.* *When his face rised to gaze up at Xayah's, his mouth still held the smile of before.* "Heck, if you just want to, we could camp out somewhere around here for the night. Couldn't be that bad, right?" *There was a slight bit of extra tone to the last of the statement that seemed to be dropping a rather blatant hint.* "Besides... I kinda liked it there. Plenty to space to move around, and a nice, open view of the sky." *Rakan moved a bit closer if - and when - Xayah chose to stride past, arm wrapping back around her shoulder.* *He would lean in close, thumb slightly rubbing against the small of her somewhat exposed ear...* "*When?*" *He'd been asking for the last few... well... forever, really. The same question, the same answer, every time. Almost to the point of the question having lost it's meaning.*

Accuse you of such a thing? Never." *Rakan had taken the shove and, surprisingly, swept and spun, now standing tall before Marr, arms splayed wide as the music seemed to pick up slightly.* "Almost like how the axeheads would *never* release child soldiers, right?" *The grin only got wider, as he pulled out a pocket mirror, and decided, in that moment, that it was the perfect time to do up his hair for a second or three.* > *In the middle of a fight.* > *And he was* smiling*, like it was all some kind of joke.* **"Hrm."** Grunting back at him lost for a line, but Rakan proved able to stall himself perfectly fine. **"It is not right. Nor necessary. But it happened, I won't pretend that child soldiers are anything but horrible but every nation has its sins I can only work to prevent it from happening once more."** > "Or accidentally kill their own. Surely, that never happened either?" *With the pocket mirror away, he looked around for a moment.* > "Oh, most certainly someone like you would be sorely missed by those of a higher rank than you. If they even cared." *A short burst of laughter, and still Rakan smiled on;* "There had even been disappearances of my kin who had decided, rather poorly might I add, to help Noxus when they were being rewarded, probably killed for their blood. Imagine that. **"A hundred soldiers for a thousand. It is... logical. If I die I die securing tribe Oramu's future."** Pressing her teeth together tight-lipped to the last. **"You taunt your own kind as if their choices are less than yours. I do not know everything that happens in our nation, but the Oramu clearly still stand and proudly at that with Noxus. That alone punches a hole in your conspiracy theory."** > "Now... I ask you again, who's really the ones being defended by Noxus guards every three feet?" *He came in very close, and managed to grab hold of Marr's hand, but simply spun around, being sure to be a fair distance away, slightly twisting his own arm so he clearly had, at the minimum, a slight advantage in a fight.* Push came to shove, or in this case, push came to being spun around in a way she found not so amusing releasing her hand with a grumpy face. **"Your sense of sarcasm is impeccable."** She retorted, half-heartedly imagining using a horn to blow that smug look away ten feet up in the air. If only he hadn't wings... **"Noxus may be flawed but we are not afraid to admit it. Has our kind truly become so delusional we can no longer admit that our past is not perfect either? I remember stories of tribes of old practising cannibalism, human sacrifice. Fighters. Now we are flower pickers clinging desperately to the last sources of wild magic." ** Not chasing after him just yet she seemed to plead for but a long moment. **"Tell me not that you wouldn't like seeing the Lhotan' restored to their former glory. With Noxus we can have that future, we can't afford stagnation that your rebellion so aggressively tries to enforce My kind would have died long ago had we not picked up arms against the invaders."** > "And if I'm the ignorant one, then what makes you think that you aren't equally blind?" *He spun close, leaned down - over any blade, if one was drawn - and whispered;* > "*Did you really need to kill anyone, for yourself? So you could live? Or others, of your own kin? Or did you do it because they* told *you to? So that you wouldn't be killed for disobedence? Or so your family wasn't threatened?*" Shorter and by far slower to pick up speed Marr barely had time to take a step before Rakan had spun around again, a metal glove promptly harshly smacking the side of his face in irritation. **"The world is not black and white, it is about time you started to see it in the grey shades of life."** Rubbing her gloved hand Marr looked up at him quite so tired by the antics. **"I have never been threatened nor has my family suffered for my shortcomings. Noxus follows but two rules, treason will be met with death, the second is that we do not retreat. So I don't."** Pointing a thumb at her visible scars. **"What is worse, to kill for emperor and country or killing for a rebellion that lacks aim or purpose. One step above scoundrel, a step below cutthroat."** **"Let's say you free Ionia, then what?"** She asked while cutting air. **"Ionians are not only incompetent leaders but treaty breakers. The first lands _need_ correction. Only by weeding out corruption and arming ourselves can we ever become united. You would trim the branches when the roots are rotten beneath. Only by uprooting it can we ever advance beyond the stagnation, this illusion that the world will be at peace."** Taking a sudden swing at him from the right Marr circled him, as best one could in the face of a much faster opponent. **"You have more in common with Noxus than any of them. Forget Vastaya, forget the labels. See what I see."**

But you only seemed to-" *That stung a little, and Rakan only came back with an even larger smile on his face. How the hell he's not missing teeth, or at least bleeding from the lip, well... Vastaya are known to be relatively durable, especially compared to humans.* "Oh, trust me, we *will* see that day, but we're going to do it ourselves. We won't need anyone other than ourselves to do it, and I'll be *damned* to see that day stolen by anyone other than our own. You justify the loss of your life when it really, *really* wasn't needed. Noxus could have spoken of trade, of commerce... but instead, they came with weapons and war." *The smile, it never went away, always shining back. Almost as brightly as his cloak, but almost as eerie as how he seemed to maintain a positive attitude throughout - how his voice never seemed to waver.* "Yet you call anyone forced to defend themselves a soldier. And you also state that children forced to fight - children just barely old enough to swing a blade - is wrong. Which is it?" *At this point, the Kiilash with the knife was watching the conversation, and seemed to start getting up and out of their rather heavily compressed seat, only for Rakan to raise a hand - for them to stop.* *They nodded, respecting Rakan's wishes to keep this a more intimate dance.* "Would you want to see your own children fighting, as young as those your precious Warmaster ordered be slaughtered?" *For a moment, Rakan seemed to give a slight bow, the entirety of his cloak held up partially with his right hand,* "Remember just who started it, Marri-warri, and remember how they started it. "You want proof that Noxus is evil? Why don't you look in the mirror of the past and tell me what you see." *He then dashed forwards with unnerving speed, his golden cloak swinging; the move was threatening to sweep Marr's legs out from under her, if she couldn't react fast enough.*

Two can play this game. Look, I am not proud of all noxians, but are you proud of all Ionians? Or was that line about the Order a slip of the tongue?"** > "So, by that logic, you would be perfectly fine with someone else killing your young if they were pushed to fight and couldn't. Yeah, that's... it might be a high horse, but that's only because you live in the valley of disgusting and wrongful acts, much like the shadow-lovers. Or some of Navori. Sure, we've all got blood on our hands. It's just that some of us regret *doing* it." The look she gave him implied he was totally... bollocks, a wide-eyed stare mouth slightly agape stammering for a second. **"I,... wha... you dare accuse us of being child murderers?! The two are not comparable by any means fool."** Stabbing a finger in his direction she seemed ready to pounce for such an offence. **"I do not regret killing to protect my own. I regret not burying them." ** She admitted, blowing air out of her nose. **"Your high horse is something else. The Oramu seeks to unite Ionia under one banner, not mindless killing that benefits none!" ** > "So victory justifies the means that justify the ends. Would that little mark make him weaker than anyone else? Perhaps you should try bashing the other one off." **"What is the spirit but the one that moves me? You are not lost simply because you fight, you are only lost when depravity replaces cold, necessary, logic."** Chomping off a large chunk of the fruit bar the vastaya huffed indignantly. **"The grand General isn't so easily stopped in his tracks. He has already replaced what was lost. Including lost Vastayan lands, sources of Wild magic albeit shared with our Noxian neighbours, but those wells of power belong to us once more. You tell me what your rebellion has reclaimed."** Judingly pointing the bit end at him. > > *Third off, hand. Lhothans. Have. Hands. We aren't furballs, unlike yourself. Would love to give you one hell of a dance, though." *His face was within inches of Marr's, a wide white-toothed grin across the face, breath tinged with the honeyfruit chocolates and sake.* > > *An invitation.* **"Try not to trip on your ego on the way, pretty. I can still kick you in the shins, for your information."** She taunted back, quite happy to press her face up against his mere inches away. **"Oh yeah?"**She shoved him back with surprising force behind it. **"Too timid to fight your own battles? Aren't you a proud Lhotan letting your friend carry the burden of the kill. You're nought but a rebellious punk with a shiny cloak." ** Swinging down from the chair she walked up pushing him again, barely reaching up to his hip. **"I bet she doesn't even like you all that much, oh who am I kidding, _you_ are your greatest obstacle. But they are still of Ionia, and as you yourself said, Noxus doesn't give a 'shite' about who's necks they snap to get whatever they want. So explain something to me, Marri," *Rakan asked with a rather harsh sneer,* "What happens when someone decides your usefulness ends? When someone bigger than you decides, eh, this little runt doesn't deserve everything they've got and they smash your spine, and you're out of uses, what then?" Marr shook her head though not to dismiss his opinion, merely to show she was getting riled up and needed refreshments. On cue, she summoned forth another waiter the hard stare of an elder piercing right through Rakan. **"Then don't be in that position, to begin with. Life is about survival if you can't adapt the strong will always trample you, doesn't matter what banners they fly."** > "Now then... picture *this*;" *Within an instant, Rakan generated the typical flower he used in a few of his performances.* "You see the petals of this flower? How their colors are constantly shifting, how they're all different? Each one of them, unique; much like people, of any race. We all see things differently, sense things differently, understand things differently. And right now... You seem to only see half the picture." **"I'm listening, I'm listening."** Insistently speaking up though silencing herself to let him speak his mind, the Oramu watching the little show passively, tempted to bite back but silent still as he carried on. > *A sigh, he swirled around what amount of alcohol was left in the bottle of sake.* > "I've heard they provide protection for those that join them. Tell me, are they really there for protection? And if so, who's? Surely not their own government, right? Definitely not. And who was it who decided it was a great plan to dump who-knows-what not too far south from here? Where pools of bubbling fluid still rests there, melting into the soil and land still, almost a full three season's past? No, clearly I have no evidence of what Noxus is. Of what they do." Frowning for a moment, she gobbled down yet one more sip of mead.**"You may dislike Noxus but don't act like they haven't defended what is their tooth and claw."** When he mentioned what at best seemed like a war crime at best it made her close her eyes rubbing the bridge of her nose. **"I don't condone such vile weapons."** Admitted on a heavy-hearted tone, though she quickly returned to stoic moments later. **"But war has no rules. Either you are on the winning side or the one buried under it." ** > *Rakan took another swig from the bottle, and finished the last of it.* "So tell me... how *are* your family? I'm sure they're doing wonderfully at the behest of *human* guards, and we both know exactly how wonderful their people are at times. How... kind and heartwarmingly cruel they can be. Yes it is ironic I suggest we fight with humans to stop more of them from coming, but something tells me being helpful can tend to outweigh harm. Not like Xayah listens to that line of thought, much... hence why I've managed to convince Xayah on occasion to, y'know, *not* do her usual thing. No argument when talking about killing those shadow-loving freaks, though." *For a moment, Rakan's brow scrunched up, one eyebrow cocked in mock confusion.* She followed his motion downing the last of the brew slamming it a bit harder than usual at his implication, her mouth contorting into a sideways sneer. **"Watch your tongue. I have five siblings and double that in my offspring, I trust those that care for them in my absence. I care not what race one is, only your actions matter."** The elder hummed, smirked and finished with a chuckle at the mention of someone that seemed sweet on him. **"Your lady is far wiser than you, bird brain. Kill the bigots keep the useful ones, I like her already. I'd raise my glass to celebrate but it appears my cup is empty."** Shrugging she motioned for the waitress to come forward, ordering refills for both of them. > "What was I saying? Oh, right. Noxus totally doesn't want to strangle everyone they 'integrate' and also doesn't have murder of those who are minding their own damn business as a casual hobby. Totally a people worthy trusting with watching over your young, right?" **"Because Ionians are known for their civility. Besides that, I'd like some hard proof Noxians 'strangle' those it embraces. You can't spout stuff and act like its fact, _young_."** Reaching behind her and into a bag that hung on her chair precariously she pulled out a hard, ugly shaped fruit bar filled with protein, breaking it half she offered him the second half while biting into her piece. **"We don't murder people, every Ionian has had the choice to lay down their weapons and pride and embrace Noxus rule. Flying Noxus colours aren't the end of the world, nor is being a vassal." ** Sighing she put her hands on the table staring hard at the ground before leaning forward right up his face (sort of, she could barely reach over half the table because of her size.) **"I can tell you haven't had a single child raised under your care, or should I say... ego? Get off your high horse and realise you haven't had to make the hard choices yet. Your little rebellion is cute, but killing isn't hard, swallowing your pride to preserve the next generation is."** Sitting down hard in her seat she all of a sudden spat a glob of saliva that landed on his right paw provided he didn't dodge it. **"That's what I think of your romanticised version of life. You wouldn't last a day in Noxus. Maybe I'll pluck you right here and present your bare ass to the Grand general in person."** Looking him up and down she shook her head. **"But you ain't the brains are you? Just the muscle. So 'bout that Xayah..."** Trailing off she circled the rim of her glass with one finger, staring him down (up.)

There was a subtle 'wooo' in the background, from a younger Lhothan with dim green and brown coloration in her feathers.* > *Rakan did, in fact, take a seat, sweeping and sliding right into it.* **"Really?"** She added somewhat dismissively, though her ear twitched in the direction of a 'fan' likely calling at him. **"Alright I'll give you that one."** Taking a moment to say something to the waitress, who nodded back saying a line about 'being right back with your drinks'. **"Hope you can drink as well as you can run your mouth."** Musing openly whilst taking another swig. > > *He sat partially crosslegged, foot swinging lightly to the music being played.* "Y'know, for an axehead, you don't actually *look* that bad. Just be sure you can trust your little buddies before you start swinging out anywhere." > *Rakan took a drink from the bottle he held, and stared at the ground for a moment.* **"Axehead? Hmpf. We're not all barbarians ya know."** Asked genuinely going by her most puzzled expression that twisted her face slightly. **"Tell me, do you rebel to fight off Noxus or the Ionian government? Seems to me it's leaning on both. We might be sharing more than you think, young."** > "You ever think why Noxus is even here?" *The tone he took was off; serious, like it was something that Rakan didn't take as a joke - the man of laughter and joy, serious.* > "Why they would even bother trying to touch the lands? The people that live in the mountains? Those of the valleys and rivers and forests?" Marr gave way to a brief pause staring into the drink's froth before chugging down the rest of it slamming it down a bit harder than before. **"I'm not naive, Noxus has plans for these lands. So do the Oramu. They won't give a shite about conquering those who surrender to our authority. What has Ionia's people ever done for us? The order of shadows puts our kind in cages, the gov't does about fuck all to stop the Golden Demon or the leader of the Order."** **"We needed allies. All of Ionia will see that in time."** By now two drinks had been served up in a boot glass for the two, filled to the brim with hard liquor. **"Now drink before you give me a headache."** True to her own words she began to empty the boot, halfway through before putting it down. **"Mhm. As I was saying, Noxus ain't as bad as you think. Where do you think me and my tribe got the plans to make armour that is nearly impenetrable, weapons to defend ourselves."** One hand beating her chest plate once and twice for effect. **"They shared tech that allowed us to produce almost double of what an Ionian farmer can produce. You tell me why Noxus is bad, sure the war hasn't been pretty but when is war ever kind to the weak? We can't afford sentimentality while reality is knocking down our front door."** Leaning back she interlaced her fingers lazily in front of her, elbows resting on her stomach. **"Your rebellion is a step in militarizing Ionia, I respect that, but that is where our similarities end. You lack an endgame."**
> [{quoted}](name=Arbiter Akali,realm=EUW,application-id=jxzFAe03,discussion-id=hfPRJ3ZE,comment-id=00000000000000000000,timestamp=2019-05-02T21:49:54.464+0000) "You have a point about the Navori. But they are still of Ionia, and as you yourself said, Noxus doesn't give a 'shite' about who's necks they snap to get whatever they want. So explain something to me, Marri," *Rakan asked with a rather harsh sneer,* "What happens when someone decides your usefulness ends? When someone bigger than you decides, eh, this little runt doesn't deserve everything they've got and they smash your spine, and you're out of uses, what then?" "Now then... picture *this*;" *Within an instant, Rakan generated the typical flower he used in a few of his performances.* "You see the petals of this flower? How their colors are constantly shifting, how they're all different? Each one of them, unique; much like people, of any race. We all see things differently, sense things differently, understand things differently. And right now... You seem to only see half the picture." *A sigh, he swirled around what amount of alcohol was left in the bottle of sake.* "I've heard they provide protection for those that join them. Of what they do." *Rakan took another swig from the bottle, and finished the last of it.* "So tell me... how *are* your family? I'm sure they're doing wonderfully at the behest of *human* guards, and we both know exactly how wonderful their people are at times. How... kind and heartwarmingly cruel they can be. Yes it is ironic I suggest we fight with humans to stop more of them from coming, but something tells me being helpful can tend to outweigh harm. Not like Xayah listens to that line of thought, much... hence why I've managed to convince Xayah on occasion to, y'know, *not* do her usual thing. No argument when talking about killing those shadow-loving freaks, though." *For a moment, Rakan's brow scrunched up, one eyebrow cocked in mock confusion.* "What was I saying? Oh, right. Noxus totally doesn't want to strangle everyone they 'integrate' and also doesn't have murder of those who are minding their own damn business as a casual hobby. Totally a people worthy trusting with watching over your young, right?"

Trouble!)) >Rakan was, as he almost always is when at a bar, drinking down some rather potent sake like it was candy. Speaking of which, he was also enjoying a few slices of honeyfruit that had been candied and coated in chocolate - quite the fine food for the golden man without a plan. The small creature took a few sniffs in the air when Rakan was served his extragavant dessert, vaguely looked like she was gazing at the waitress to order one but ultimately slumping back in her seat. Temptation existed just about anywhere, and likely it was better than the grub back at home. Feeding so many mouths never was an issue she thought of. But nevermind that, she was here to relax and recharge then begin anew tomorrow. >Well, this'll be fun..." Rakan took another swig from his bottle, now half empty, and began walking over towards this... thing in a chair behind a table. "So... what the heck are you, anyways? You look like a Yordle, but without the ears. Really confusing." He was loud, belligerent, and seemed relatively drunk. Though graceful even Rakan couldn't escape the hardwood creaking under his feet in objection, the vastaya actually glancing behind her shifting in her seat but not reaching for any weapons, when he spoke directly to her she exhaled and all that guardedness seemed to evaporate, at least the illusion of it as she forced a small smile his way. **"Name's Marr, designation first Sergeant of the 9th legion based in Noxus. I'm from tribe Oramu. We're a river-based Vastaya tribe though we don't rely on it like Marai or Naga."** Only then did she take note of his by now obvious drunk and cocky stature, removing her helmet with a sure click she put it on the table running her hand over her head and ears. **"Oh, I get it. Very funny. I'm _not_ a Yordle those furry little things weird me out."**Taking a deep sip of the mead she wiped it off casually with one hand, the other flat on the table drumming against the wood eyes narrowing looking him up and down once. **"Aren't you that troublemaking Lhotan? If you are, don't mess with Noxus or tribe Oramu son we'll run you over."** Lifting her hand she motioned at the second seat. **"Anyways, why don't you take a seat? Make an old lady happy instead of trying to mess with her old mind."** Already waving over a waitress she put her hands on the table again leaning forward. **"So what's your deal, golden feathers."**

: By chance or just bad luck [Marr](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BuG-9GMfJvPTJRZZun261Ft_i9TuOndff6HzfxXc9jo/edit?usp=sharing) found herself located in a village the Charmer had strayed into, though her intent was not to confront him, no, she actually didn't even _know_ he was there. Marr had come to preach the word of Noxus and by that tribe Oramu's interests. Not many were happy to listen to the small vastaya on a (literal) soapbox and thus her efforts had mostly gone by unnoticed. It was a damn shame, this humbly sized Vastayan owned village would be a crucial step on the front to unite Ionia under Noxus rule. But most were too frightened to listen, too many not daring to stand with Noxus. - When evening came Marr had been mentally exhausted from the efforts, now in the sole dainty tavern of the village, she sat by the bar, stirring a glass of mead absently, arms splayed on the board. She suspected the only reason none had tried to remove her from the said village was fear, and by the gods above she was tired of it.

RIGHTYO! For the moment, I'll be in Xayah's thread only, but will post mine soon! sho-lah! Right? That's a human term, isn't it? >*"Oh, you have no idea how much fun that would be! Until... some of those shadow-loving freaks showed up. Or those axeheadded Noxians arrive.* >*"Then again, that would've been pretty fun too."* *A few hours later, as the Violet Raven would (more likely than not?) be wandering through the backlands of Ionia, there would be a subtle humming and scatsong from above, a single golden feather slowly drifting down in front of Xayah.* "So? What is it?" *Rakan gracefully dropped down, swooping around to his very much precious miella, leaning on Xayah's shoulder. He summarily produced a flower seemingly from nowhere, now holding it his mouth.* *A rather interesting thing; a rose with many colors of petals, not one bit more extravagant and flamboyant than the Lhothan who held it himself. He leaned in somewhat close to her cheek, a rather wide grin on his stubble-chinned face.* >Quick OOC; >Well, here I was reading through the forums, wondering how best to strike up discussion. >Then I saw you just sittin' there, all lonesome and the like (since the other Rakan walked off on ya), and, well... >A) I loved Rakan's design since he was made, soooo 1pt for me doing this. >2) I'm not one to leave someone all mopeydopey, not without trying to cheer them up somehow - ANOTHER POINT TO DO THIS! >D) Screw it, Rakan's a fun character LETS DO THIS!!!!! > >If you need my Discord, just make reference to it. > >Without further adieu, let us dance on, Miella.
