: If I may, here's a concept I had for a possible passive: **Limitless Color** As Kit uses abilities, Kit stains his paintbrush with different colors of ink. Q is red, W is blue, E is yellow and R is "rainbow". Kit's next attack is dependent on the color of Ink. Kit can combine up to two colors, save for his ultimate: * Red- Deals additional magic damage * Blue- Kit's next auto-attack restores mana * Yellow- Kit's next auto-attack slows enemies. * Green- Kit strikes in an area, restoring mana and slowing based on enemies hit (Increased for champions) * Purple- Kit's next attack restores mana based on damage dealt (Think AP Ratio) * Orange- Kit slams his paintbrush down, dealing damage to all nearby enemies and slowing them. * Rainbow- Kit attacks six times in rapid succession (Think Udyr's tiger stance). The first three attacks are red/blue/yellow while the second three are orange/green/purple.

The Q could slow AND blind enemies, the W could stun enemies that are marked or become marked within a certain amount of time inside the circle, the E could knock up enemies that are marked and the R could reduce the enemy's resistances while inside the paint and marked.

In Maokai's lore, it states how the Shadow Isles...wasn't always that shadowy. It was actually quite beautiful. But the king one day demanded his sorcerers to crack open the barrier separating life and death. He succeceded. But at a cost, the spirits of the dead corrupted the island. Made the beautiful island into one of the most dreaded places on Valoran, made an all powerful spirit trying to hide in fear in an old oak. And death everywhere. And a selflish, greedy king would not be spared. (this is the part where I make parts up) Consumed by the souls, he feels fear from being awaken from his death and then...realizecation. He is undead. He is immortal...like he once desired. But he is selflish, THIS ISN'T ENOUGH for him that is. He desired to rule for all eternity! Now he roams the land, claiming souls and undead to serve him. He has decided to leave the shadow isles. And he followed onto ashores during the last Harrowing. What's on gods earth is he doing now? He is bringing rule to this realm of pitiful life and will remind everyone, why he is king! Yeah. I just took all the freedom of making up lore :P But I think it could work. I'm suprised Riot hasn't done it already. I think you have alot of talent. You made a simple "let's have a champion that is like yin and yang" and made it into one of the most popular fan-made champions in a long while. I seen your other work. It's truelly amazing. Which is why I would like to see your take on "the returned king of the shadow isles". I don't think the king had a name. Sooo what it would be I have no idea. I thought of Arthur or Lorenzo but you can decide whatever you want if you pick this up. One of the problems when I ask request from artists is that I'm worried if I sound to demanding. The game revolves around the use of a brush with which you draw on your surroundings to change them. I could imagine that this guy could do something similar.

I do think the whole "Ink Mark" is unique, but very strong especially since it can be applied almost all the time. Every 3rd attack. On the Q. On the Ult. On the W. Only thing safe from having permanent vision impairment is the E. I would say allow an enemy champion to be immune to the Ink Mark after it wears off for a set amount of time. Having a vision impairment constantly (Especially one as strong as Graves. Nocturnes is even less strong (imo) than Graves). So that would be my suggestion. My other concern is how long does the silences last? For all those extra effects I suggest making it a short duration. Overall, really unique. Good job. ^_^ Simple, but different.

: Love the design, hate the kit, but it's okay. That's what feedback and community are for! I'm not opposed to 3 hit passives, but I would like to see a bit more innovation. For example, what if his passive was: Ink Mark: As Kit moves, he constantly paints the ground directly infront of him leaving a trailer that last for X seconds. The paint dries after X, and all allies that travel along the paint trail get their movespeed increased by X. Kit would be constantly moving his paintbrush in front of him like a hockey player, leaving the paint trail behind. Just an idea, but an example of something I think would be a bit more unique overall.

I would like that inkbrush to be magical. Let's say that he is a fox ninja, living everyday ninja life, doing ninja things (he comes from a family of ninja foxes) but he had always liked painting. Finally he decides to leave his ninja life and learn more about painting. He finds a mystical painter that takes him as his apprentice. He does well as a student and is happy but he never stops thinking about his family and misses them (his family is probably angry with him for leaving his ninja career and family tradition). Maybe something happens to his family (some evil ninja, monster or something else destroys his home and captures his family or worse). He makes an oath that he won't speak until he frees or avenges his family. His mentor (the mystical painter) gives him one giant magical inkbruh that can invoke powers from his paintings. Now he has to use his ninja and painting skills to save or avenge his family. Maybe he can paint some monsters on scrolls that come off the paper and attack his foes (thinking about Sai from Naruto Shippuden), draw some magical runes or marks on the ground or on the scrolls that would summon some magic or have some other effects. He should also have a ninja side. Maybe he can blind someone with ink (that would be such a ninja thing to do). Some sort of dash or blink would also be nice to have since he is a ninja (maybe he draws some mark on the ground that makes a ink pond that he falls into and then the pond appear somewhere else and he jumps out of it (that would be sooooo cool). His ult could be called "A ninja's masterpiece" that does something supper cool (I don't know what :D ). His spells should have a little cast time (he needs to draw something after all). I imagine him as a AP fighter. Something like Ekko but more of a fighter then an assassin.
I was thinking he could be like Sai but that might be way too complicated IDK

Enemys with ink leave a trail of ink(Doesn't count for passive) W Sling ink dealing damage to enemys hit(This is filler, couldn't think of anything that would work good here) E Slash two areas within a certain area of each other with your brush champions can traverse between the two(Kinda like portal) R Draw a path with your mouse after clicking r again kit becomes untargetable and dashes across the path damaging enemys hit and slowing them? The drawing stays for awhile.

: This is an amazing concept with a meh skillset, with the exception of the ult. Just having it silence and blind would be a little weird, but damage would be awesome. Probably one of the best/coolest ults in the game. Some ideas for other moves: Passive: Passively leaves a trail of ink behind him. Any enemy standing in the ink for 1 second is slowed. //Now, the reason this is balanced is that he gets kinda revealed by his ink trail, but he can pull off some sick moves with it. The Q is a good move. Maybe add a secondary effect if it has a large CD, or just keep it the same with a low CD. The W is also good, but maybe have it speed allies inside and slow enemies, like he has magical slippery/gunky paint or something. The E is nice, but maybe we can slow down the dash and then leave a trail of ink behind that stuns rather than slows. I hope you enjoy my ideas on this. Your champion idea is amazing, and I just want to help make a better moveset for him.

: The passive seems a bit strong, and the 3-hit-effect passive is really overused too. Perhaps he could leave a short trail of ink that he gains movespeed or armor when he stands on it. Otherwise, I like it a lot!

The yin & yang, dark & light dual nature has a lot of very novel thematic and visual flair that hasn't been explored in League yet. I wanted to quickly dispel the notion that this was a direct inspiration, however - in fact, the first concept for our next champion was created January 26 of this year. Champion ideation draws inspiration from many places, and often incorporates common and uncommon themes, concepts, and archetypes. There are thousands of champion concepts out there and it's common that we can find one or many that mirror some of the themes that end up making it into a released champion. Innovating in the space via art, gameplay and theme can be a real challenge, and it's common to be able to point to another character from other games, comics, movies or other media and be able to say that there are similarities. In the end, though, we strive very hard to create something truly unique to our game and universe, and I hope that of all the things you can call new League champions, "derivative" is not one of them. We love that players are passionate and engaged enough with League to come up with super cool concepts like these, so don't stop! I look forward to getting all the juicy details into your hands so you guys can learn all about how we came up with and delivered the champion concept and who it turned out to be (I think you're gonna dig it). In the mean time.. they are coming...

Totally plays on the whole twin/Taoist motif, and with their polar opposite personalities (yet keeping with their fraternal bond) I can only imagine all the funny and dynamic dialogue between them. Their whole design has a very unique look to it (very effervescent yet fluid all at once) so it would give them a very iconic and recognizable appearance, even from far away, and their design overall just looks great, mysterious, simple, and secretive, while still looking funny and expressive all at once. That said, might be better to distance them from Ionia (had enough champions from that place already) but would like to see them interact more with bard as fellow denizens of runeterra's spirit world, which would give them a broader connection with the rest of the champions instead of focusing only on those from ionia. Maybe they'll even communicating like bard as well, using sounds to express Dha and Ma separately

DhaMa should be a capable midlaner or support with this proposal. ---------------------------------------------------- **Passive - Self Expression** Identity checks occur every 70/60/50 seconds of combat. /laugh at the beginning of the game grants **Well-Spirited** while /taunt grants **Mean-Spirited**. (Afterwards, manual form changes are done with a function key like DJ Sona.) This effect recharges after maintaining identity for 3 durations. These form changes have a 1.5 second cast time. If neither occurs, a random identity is chosen upon first entering combat. If (magic damage) x _a1_ + (healing done) x _b_ > a (logarithmically?) growing constant, then DhaMa maintains **Well-Spirited**. If not, DhaMa reconsiders identity, switching to **Mean-Spirited**. If (magic damage) x _a2_ > a (logarithmically?) growing constant, then DhaMa maintains **Mean-Spirited**, otherwise switching. **Well-Spirited** grants _f1_ mp5 and _g1_ chance of circular healing pulse for _h1_% of DhaMa's max mana upon spellcast. The healing pulse is less effective on DhaMa and minions. The pulse also lingers around DhaMa for 0.5 seconds but only heals allies once per proc. **Mean-Spirited** grants _f2_% movement speed and _g2_ chance of applying a DoT for _h2_% of DhaMa's max mana upon spellcast for every unit hit as well as a small movement speed buff upon every spellcast. An **amazing** idea would be to have Self Expression to instead have a growing chance of being one side over another based on a ratio using the formulas above, not a boolean, so there could be several unplanned "identity changes". Unplanned changes would remove the stored manual change, if attained. Scaling is based on the same stats in this proposal so that this affects playstyle changes, not effectiveness. In other words, doing more damage and healing increases the chance of maintaining identity. A UI gauge could be implemented to help show the odds of the sides being selected and when "identity checks" occur. -------------------------------------------------- **Q - Tail Swipe** DhaMa slithers, gaining _a_%/_a_%/_b_%/_b_%/_c_% increased movement speed for 1.0 seconds and swipes its' tails forward. A ground-targeted skillshot is also fired based on DhaMa's identity. If **Well-Spirited** is active, Dha's energy overpowers, firing a ball of ordered energy to a nearby target location, persisting for 3 seconds. This ball damages enemies on contact and heals nearby units. The heal is less effective on DhaMa and on minions. The ball may be destroyed with enemy damaging abilities, even before it reaches target location. Scales with max mana. If **Mean-Spirited** is active, Ma's energy overpowers, shooting forth a stretched tail to a nearby target location. This damages all units in the area and the champion hit closest to DhaMa is pulled half of the distance Ma's tail travelled and stuns for a very brief time. Scales with max mana. --------------------------------------------------- **W - Spirit Burst** DhaMa manifests a ball of spiritual energy behind it (purely graphical, ball follows behind and slightly above) and fires small energy bursts in a cone. If **Well-Spirited** is active, Dha's energy overpowers, firing more bursts and over a longer distance, dealing no damage, and marks collided champions, revealing them and reducing their Magic Resist. This can be body-blocked by champions. Scales with a combination of AP and max mana. or If **Well-Spirited** is active, Dha's energy overpowers, firing a laser for up to 2.5 seconds, slightly growing in range and damage for the duration. (Please reply which of these two you prefer. If the second one, then the ball from DhaMa's Well-Spirited Q could grant vision for the 3 seconds it's up) If **Mean-Spirited** is active, Ma's energy overpowers, dealing moderate damage, firing dark shards that apply a DoT and a minor slow. Scales with a combination of AP and max mana. ----------------------------------------------------- **E - Spiritual Upheaval** DhaMa unleashes spiritual energy in a circular target location. Activating DhaMa's teleport/burst, respectively, has an additional chance of proc'ing DhaMa's passive. If **Well-Spirited** is active, Dha's energy overpowers, unleashing a purifying pillar of light, dealing moderate damage to all enemies in the area. May be activated again to teleport DhaMa to the center of the pillar within 3.5 seconds of activation, removing slows and debuffs on allies in the area (removes half of the max duration of debuffs on DhaMa). Scales with AP. If **Mean-Spirited** is active, Ma's energy overpowers, unleashing a chaotic frenzy of darkness, dealing moderate damage and launches DhaMa to the target location, building up another burst of darkness, which explodes around DhaMa after a short period of time, dealing low to moderate damage. The second burst may be interrupted by hard cc. DhaMa is immune to soft cc between the teleport and the burst. Scales with AP. ------------------------------------------------------ **R - Matured Identity** DhaMa becomes one in body, halting the identity check system, losing **Well-Spirited** and **Mean-Spirited**, gaining **Wisened-Spirit**. Matured Identity may be reactivated multiple times while **Wisened-Spirit** is active to freely switch between forms. Form changes have a .2 second cast time and a 1.0 second mini cooldown. **Wisened-Spirit** also causes DhaMa to take 40% less damage for 4 seconds, as well as the boosts associated with the selected skills. Cooldowns between forms are not shared but are slightly increased and mana costs are decreased. Lasts... idunno, 20 seconds at rank 3?
