: Stop saying "just reduce damage" is the solution to everything.
What do you mean by 30 champions benefit from the runes and that's the problem? That makes no sense.. Literally every single champion is insanely ridiculous right now, regardless of the rune. I challenge you to name a single champion that with a small advantage couldn't completely take over a game and bully anyone else. The new runes are just stronger versions of the old runes so of course they are a problem, but the overall problem is the damage itself. If they massively nerved every single rune, that would lower everyones damage, which would be working towards the actual "underlying problem" which is damage in general. Runes would be an overlaying issue, not an underlying one.

How is that not unfair. By the time the Q animation fully completes, the double strike has killed a squishy.

: Can Riot Put Some Effort Into Finally Fixing Death Recap?
If they fixed the death recap, they'd have to admit that damage is broken because everyone would have the fact that they die in less than a second spammed in their face 10 times a game.
: building only defenses simply doesn't work anymore
Mundo, Garen, and Darius (and many others) disagree. The only reason defence doesn't work as well these days is because every game is a feedfest because people playing squishy champions suicide over and over in an attempt to get kills on each other until typically both sides have 20-30 kills in 15 minutes. Tanks are generally farmers since they can't kill anybody decent* efficiently enough to get as far ahead as someone constantly instantly killing their opponents.
: Can Master Yi's wuju style be converted to Physical damage so you can actually build against it?
I vote for reworking Master Yi back so he could go AP again, and just nerf his AD and true damage into the ground so that it's only viable to build AP. At least back then he was basically just a shittier version of Katarina. The game has become almost exclusively feast or famine now anyways.

I can understand Urgot, or even Darius.. But to say that Kled has any weaknesses is just foolish. Remount in 2 attacks and 1 Q late game, 3 gap closers, a steroid, and a pull? : Faker's thoughts on matchmaking / KR soloQ.
The only thing anybody needs to say about League of Legends is that there's far too many open variables in solo queue to allow for proper determination of any players skill level, which means that almost every player is in a MMR that they should not be. Be it for the better or worse. And there's no way to alleviate that because ***NO GAME WILL EVER BE BALANCED***. You can only hope for the best with what you're given. All these posts about balancing the game itself (specifically for solo queue) are stupid wastes of time. Riot can't fix it because there are way too many variables involved in their game at this point.

Sad part is, I'd still rather see a {{champion:157}} than a {{champion:16}} . : I think the BE system is meant to be more of a boost to new players, then an actual meaningful change for those who have already played the game for awhile. Leveling 1-30 is much much quicker than it used to be, and the champion capsules for those levels give unique rewards, including some permanent champions. You are right, the income rate of BE does seem to have diminished somewhat compared to the old IP system, but the champion shards have one unique thing to counteract that. If you have a shard for a champion, you can unlock them for about 2/3 price of the champion in the shop. This also is designed for new players, giving them a discounted way to unlock new champions they can test out. Veteran players on the other hand tend to have a more clearly defined class of champions they enjoy playing, and overall I think are less "adventurous" in trying out new champions. Sure, they may get the urge to buy a new champion here or there but in my opinion it tends to be less often, meaning they need less BE. Personally, I own about 2/3 of the champions, and overall don't really feel the need to unlock the ones I don't have. I recently spent about 60k BE on the summer store, and still have about 20k left that i can pick up the occasional champion with if i get the urge. Overall, I play league because it's fun, rather than because I'm grinding towards my next unlock. Champion Capsules and BE for me are just sort of a background thing that builds up overtime. All of that aside, league has historically done everything it can to entice people into spending money on RP and that's not about to change. Most champions cost about 5 dollars worth of RP which for most people is about half an to an hours worth of wages at a job. To unlock them with BE on the other hand it can easily take 20-25+ games which amounts to a much larger time commitment
**Leveling 1-30 is much much quicker than it used to be** Funniest joke I've seen all day. Level 1-30 takes much, much, much, much longer than it used to and anybody who has tried would easily tell you that. And the BE you get from level 1-30 is barely enough to get all the 450 BE champions with at the most 3-4 higher value champions. (Including the free champions from levels 1-3)

: How do you fight zoe?
Zoe is pretty easy to stomp if she doesn't get ahead early. You should always go for teleport when against Zoe as she has no way to take it from you if you use it to get back to lane. Any other summoner is just asking for trouble. Playing safe is always the smartest option unless you are an assassin. There are many hard counters to Zoe that completely negate her. The easiest being Malzahar or Katarina, but anybody with decent mobility destroys her as she is worthless if you get close to her and don't walk into her E. Make sure you harass her hard when the E has been used early as it does have a long cool down and life gets pretty damn easy. If you do want to play aggressive post-6, just wait for her to inevitably R and aim your abilities at the beginning of it, as it will automatically hit her because of a delay on her actions when she arrives back. Zoe is not an easy champion to lane against because she is a pick champion. She isn't meant to be easy to play against because she suffers extremely hard once late game comes around if there are any tanks on the opposing team, and even more if she misses even a single combo in an important fight as she has no value whatsoever at that point. The most important thing to do in a Zoe lane is to play safe at level 3 as that is typically when she has her W and will be looking to trade summoners as it will always work out in her favour.

Ganking him is next to pointless. He can easily just W out of any situation if he's too dumb to ward for. Except that the range of his camouflage is about the same as Eve's so you'll be able to spot him pretty easy in stealth. If you can manage to get on top of him, you'll still be able to see him. His dash is good, but that's an AoE stun, so I assume it will have a relatively high CD early game, so if he blows it in lane, he would be just as susceptible to a gank as Shen with his E down. Except he would be even more susceptible because you can't build health on him at all, he just scales into a glass cannon.
His camouflage provides him with a movement speed burst scaling based on HP, which is more the escape tool I was talking about, the camouflage is just an added bonus if you had warded. The primary defensive tool for ganks is his AOE stun which has a base cool down of 15 seconds with no CDR, which is also a dash. If you're getting ganked twice in 15 seconds you are playing too aggressively, or you don't know how wards work. "he would be even more susceptible because you can't build health on him at all, he just scales into a glass cannon." - He scales based off of HP and has high AD ratios on all of his abilities.. You for sure build health on him. {{item:3748}} - Clear. {{item:3071}} - Everything he needs. {{item:3053}} - No longer a glass cannon. They will do the same thing they do for all the other broken kits they have released lately, nerf the numbers into the ground. The problem with this is, every so often they like to randomly buff champions who aren't top of the food chain which means, based on their kits, when this happens they take over the game until their numbers are gutted again. Prime example: Kai'sa.

This is excellent news, maybe now they can address how ridiculous Talons level 2 burst is with ignite. I have yet to fail in hundreds of attempts, to get a kill if I hit both sides of my W, unless the enemy mid laner takes barrier, and even then, they rarely survive and always have to back.

: Basicly if he gets the kill with ult - which is not hard with ignite and an agressive adc - it will grant gold for TWO damage dealers. Is this the way of "support" now? I'm not surprised you are still looking for a new name for the support role.
Put him top, give him gold since he scales off of HP anyways, take teleport and camp the bot lane. He does so much damage that if your bot lane deep wards you will get a kill EVERY TIME even if they sit under tower, and even if it happens to be a trade, your team comes out ahead because of the ridiculous double gold and experience on the execute. He bullies top lane hard, and I have not once failed to get a kill on the level 6 tp.
: >Yasuo's weakness comes from the fact that he is too strong. His laning phase is so strong that after the laning phase people do not know how to keep calm and throw the game well 1. i dont understand this at all considering yasuo's early game is purposefully garbage 2. you need to state why he is too strong so maybe this makes sense 3. even then it still doesn't make sense >So please just do something. To summarize, his kit is overloaded and he has too many safety nets for a supposedly high learning curve champion. He isn't overloaded, Lee Sin is overloaded. Lee Sin and Camille have built in true damage, healing, hard CC (lee sin has a root before his actual kick on R as well) and a double dash, while Lee still has spellvamp and an execute. Yasuo has double crit, situational hypermobility, AOE damage and projectile negation. Now you'll notice he does not have a shitload of stuff that negates his weaknesses like Lee or Camille. >Note: Next patch Yasuo is gonna be terrifying if the new infinity edge stacks with his passive and conqueror. 40% true damage, 100% crit Yasuo at two items..... well now i know you have no place in talking about yasuo if you think he already didn't hit 100% crit 2 items conquerer and new IE do less damage together and its not 40% true damage either, AND IE no longer makes crits do 250% its gonna stay 200% damage now. He is legit going to get gutted next patch wtf are you talking about, especially if he needs damage on his crits to function >Also for a champion that's supposedly designed to be very hard to pick up, Yasuo has too many safety nets and training wheels. Ultimate putting you outside tower range. Passive shield. Wind wall. Tornadoes recharging in 5 seconds if you miss them. 1. Tornadoes dont recharge by themselves you have to stack them and for that you need an enemy near you 24/7 2. CC (tornado) is not a god damn safety net 3. Wind wall is not a safety net its a better Braum wall except the fact that its stationary could continue more but that's mostly what i wanted to say note: even yasuo haters say he is balanced right now, 48% winrate with a 10% playrate is perfect. stop trying to fix what isn't broken.
Obviously a Yasuo main if he's trying to tell you that Yasuo has a weak early game. Yasuo's second passive is insanely* strong early game and allows him to win almost any matchup if the Yasuo isn't completely braindead. And that's not even including level 6, where you can FULLY RESET his passive shield just by hitting R. (By the way, the shield at level 6 is roughly 220 damage, which you get 2 of in a fight, and that don't require any items or anything to have. That is roughly 440 damage negated without even using windwall.)

The biggest problem is, even though you listed some hardcore bullies, you neglected the fact that all of them less a few have a point in the game where Yasuo will either massively outscale and destroy them, or be able to bully them too hard early for them to make it late.
Ultîma (NA)
: IMO the shield passive, as annoying as it can be, is far less offensive than a passive that makes an entire category of items twice as efficient with no drawbacks. Yasuo's shield is at least gated by movement and windows where it isn't active, and has set value based on his level. As far as passives go, it's good but some champions have far better ones. Considering that Riot's removed a fair bit of invisible power from champion kits, I don't know why that one's remained patch after patch.
See, I would agree of course that his other passive is significantly stronger overall, but if you take into account that it scales based on level up to an insane 510 damage at level 18 being able to be reset INSTANTLY upon ultimate cast, that's over 1k damage shielding with little to no counterplay (as you can eq the final q on the enemy for almost guaranteed knock-up and ultimate confirmation). Level 18 being the extreme, but even as early as level 6 his shield would block roughly 220 damage twice which would negate the full burst from a lot of mages even if the Yasuo fucks up his windwall. Which in my opinion anyways, provides him with too many safety nets, the real problem that I see with Yasuo in general. He's way too safe for how much damage he does and if he wasn't so safe, people wouldn't have a problem with him doing so much damage.

Pyke is 100% going to be played as a bully top lane. He is just a much stronger version of Darius. He will have so much lane control with his kit it will just be disgusting. His kit, which I expected, is a joke just like all the recently released kits. Designed to have everything at the cost of nothing.
PB4UAME (NA)
: Dont forget, he gets 60% crit instead of 30!
But sir, you have forgotten. That attack speed also drastically lowers his cool down on his Q as well (wait, why does it do that!?), which also massively increases his DPS.
Ultîma (NA)
: I honestly just think that he'd be a much healthier champion if his double crit passive was removed. Full stop. No need for fancy mechanical changes to the champion's kit but that amount of invisible power has always made Yasuo a mess. Without it he could actually be tuned in tandem with other champions. His synergy with crit makes me scared for how he will be with the new item changes.
All they needed to do was remove one or the other passive. He doesn't need both. And then just tone up his numbers a bit. Double crit is a joke, but so is having a passive shield that blocks a fairly large amount of damage that resets fully on ultimate. I'd also love to know why his Q cool down is lowered by attack speed as well, essentially making him get everything at no cost.

And that can also be easily combined with his ultimate for an automatic roughly 3s of free damage worth of cc (not even mentioning the fact that his passive resets fully), and if you are decent you can easily weave 2 more Q's in the chain which means his knock-up will be back up when they land or less than 1s afterwards depending on how far into the game you are (for the reduced cool down BASED ON ATTACK SPEED FOR SOME REASON).
: You need to drop the crit chance on all finished crit items by 5% and shift that power elsewhere in each of those items. The current options do not allow for 100% crit chance builds without going over and wasting gold, and so there will be no net change in the frequency of RNG-sucess crit builds. IE + Crit Item + Crit Item = 100% crit chance needs to be an option. It isn't now with all the 30% crit items. Currently your only options are IE + Crit Item + Crit Item = 120% crit chance, or IE + Crit Item + Stormrazor or Essence Reaver = 60% crit chance, which does absolutely nothing to change the status quo or the problem of overly frontloaded ADC damage. Give us a 20% crit chance item, or make the 30% crit chance items only provide 25% crit chance, so 100% crit chance slots neatly into builds. Otherwise, nobody is going to waste gold on that extra unused 20% crit chance by building IE + 2 crit chance items, which means RNG Crits still decide way too much.
"shift that power elsewhere in each of those items." or just remove it and do nothing else since they don't even need anything to compensate.

Seriously, Master Yi wins whole games on his own right now 5v1 the moment he finishes this item.
: Stormrazor is going to get abused so hard. Good thing I already permaban zed
You're kidding right, you're worried about zed? Try Rengar after these changes. What a joke.
: Stealth is an unfun mechanic that lacks counterplay.
I mean, we can talk about Shaco.. Or, we could talk about Irelia who has the most disgusting kit I've ever seen now. She has a strong steroid, sustain built into her abilities, a minion execute for the braindead bad cs'ers that also resets and acts as a gap closer and escape, an instant cast damage reduction, a ranged AOE stun that also enables resets, and a large AOE slow wall that also disarms and allows for resets yet again. In fact, the only thing Irelia doesn't have is stealth. And if her kit wasn't enough, she was designed around the most oppressive late game keystone and items.. e.g. (typically from what I've seen) Conqueror with Trinity Force, Sterak's Gage, Ravenous Hydra..

: It annoys me that R evolve Kha can literally run through your jungle and unless he's slow enough or you have deep enough wards, you will never know he's there until it's too late. He makes death brushes useless even with a pink since he can just walk right through and the enemy team is none the wiser.
I feel like not enough people seem to be aware of or understand how insanely strong Kha's evolve R is.
: There's is literally NOTHING enjoyable in a mage vs {{champion:7}} or{{champion:157}}or{{champion:55}} match up BECAUSE ONE SIDE HAS BEEN GIVEN ALL THE TOOLS TO OUTPLAY THE OTHER RIOT GAMES AND ONE TOUCH FROM THEIR ABILITIES CAN COST YOU YOUR FUCKING LANE, yet _<Removed by Moderation>_ is perplexed as to why mages choose to abandon "laning" completely and opt to clear waves. It blows his ADC mind that having literally 0 options to play aggressively because of a severe discrepancy in mobility and ability consistency results in people who play their champions passively unless the skill discrepancy is so massive that none of that matters. Even vs {{champion:105}} or{{champion:238}} every match up literally boils down to roll your face at them before they hit level 3, if you didn't slap your face on your keyboard hard enough then you're not allowed to interact anymore because you'll take 90% of your hp in a single trade, and post 6 if you get touched you die. Wow Riot, that's so fun to play against, I can't understand why mages don't choose to MUH INTERACTION more with assassins :O. _<Removed by Moderation>_
"BECAUSE ONE SIDE HAS BEEN GIVEN ALL THE TOOLS TO OUTPLAY THE OTHER" - an undiscovered genius.

: I am not going to comment on whether Zoe, Kai’sa, or Irelia are overloaded. But the reworked Swain seems rather tame. None of his abilities are super complex. Just because his kit isn’t dirt simple does not mean he is overloaded.
In Swain's case, it is mostly just that he was and continues to be overturned and thus is pick or ban in all LCS games in almost all regions and is very strong in general still.

Braum and Tahm are the most contested supports at the moment for LCS and guess what they both "protect" the adcs pretty damn well, or how about Morgana who has a spell shield and multiple long duration disables..? Do you even play League? There is a difference between a "disable" and a "root." Dark Binding is a root good sir. You can still cast abilities while rooted... you just aren't going very far.
You can't cast any ability that would allow you to move and also Morgana's ultimate is a stun, and I'm not sure how familiar you are with the English language but anything that prevents you from moving has disabled you. If your car gets put in boot, rooting it in place, your car is disabled from movement. Common sense. So you don't get confused for next time, I did a 2 second Google search for you. Disable: limit (someone) in their movements, senses, or activities

: Someone tell me the point of soloque again.
If you want a perfect example, even for LCS, as to why ADC meta is absolutely garbage and not fun for anyone at all just go watch a single game of Rekkles playing Tristana. Don't get me wrong, Rekkles is an insanely good player, and positions very well, but what a joke it is to watch him single handedly reset and 5vs1 because his champion is just so ridiculously strong and his role is so broken that as long as he dodges a skill shot he auto-wins the game no matter what happens in the first 30 minutes.

I know, i even said to my friends as we like to talk about league theory. "League is so heavily bot lane focused that I don't even know what the answer is to fix it anymore, besides start a whole new game"
Won't have to worry about it pretty soon, every champion released or reworked these days has such an overloaded kit that soon the game will be unplayable for older champs so it won't matter. Zoe, Swain, then Kai'sa, then Irelia, all insanely and unnecessarily overloaded. Why does every new champion now need at least 6-9 abilities with built in steroids, cc, gap-closers, low mana costs or no mana costs, low cool downs, shields, escapes, more cc, sometimes even a stealth, and then ridiculous scaling on top of it.. Kai'sa obviously being the most notable of late as she has everything a champion could ever need built into her kit. Put her agains't a champion like Ashe who is what an ADC should be (no RNG crits, can't jump all over the map while dealing insane damage, has to actually build up to her steroid..) and the Ashe doesn't stand a chance unless the Kai'sa player is terrible. They may as well revert league back to any season between 1-6 and then create a new game called "League of Garbage" and then have just their newer champions in it, since pretty soon the champions will be so ridiculous, and so convoluted that you won't even be able to play because of how stupid the kits are. I'm just waiting for the next release, to prove my point even further.
: and then what? lulu will then become top pick because lulu and janna are pretty much the only good protectors in the game, what else do you have? thresh with hook + slow I guess? and then what? nothing, there's no other champion who can protect the ADC well
Durrr.. Braum and Tahm are the most contested supports at the moment for LCS and guess what they both "protect" the adcs pretty damn well, or how about Morgana who has a spell shield and multiple long duration disables..? Do you even play League?
: I HATE this idea that attractiveness has to be there for a purpose
After spending 2 or so minutes reading this post and having no idea what the context for it was, I already find myself with an interesting realization. People really seem to care a lot about things I find so damn insignificant. I can't honestly say that I've ever logged into League of Legends and said to myself, "I care about/wonder about the origin of this character.", but damn people seem to care so much about the smallest things.. Shit, I can't bring myself to care as much about half the gameplay changes as some people do about the backstories of these fictional characters. (Please don't get me wrong, care about what you will, I just found it pretty interesting how intense people get over this shit, even though it has no bearing on the gameplay at all.) P.S. This game is played by a lot 10-15 year old kids who are just about to, or just have hit puberty. Obviously they are going to market all their female champions as attractive on the off chance it will increase their revenue from the sales, and as sad as it is, let me tell you, I'm sure it probably does.

: Yeah, and in order to one shot a caster minion, she has to get a near max range cast and you need an AP item or two. If you're just in lane trying to clear, you'll do maybe half of their health, and melees even less. And she's very, very easy to bully. Look at the pictures I put up there, and you can just beat the snot out of her.
Wrong. You can do it with just Doran's Ring and nothing else. It does however have to be max range, which with practice is very easy to achieve.

: Zoe at level 5 or Paddlestar at Rank 5? One sounds reasonable enough (though I'm a Jungle/Top main so meh, context is lost on me), but the latter sounds like a really great way at gimping a Mid Laner from, well being a Mid Laner.
Paddle Star at rank 3, when she is level 5 fully clears the wave easily with a little practice.
