Hey Meddler one thing i wish was in TFT would be to go over the cap of units just so you can put one down and buy an upgrade before putting them back on the bench, would be really nice if we could go over the cap but they would go back to the bench after.

Thoughts on Ap Viktor right now he has a bit of a rough time in most games. Waiting to get around 400 Ap to do normal mage damage feels pretty bad on top of the huge delays on the majority of his damage. Any changes to help out AP players?

: maybe im biased... but landing a skillshot should do more tha a point and click ability
Khazix Q doesn't outdamage nidalee spear at rank 1 nid spear is gonna have a 190 base on Kha Q and 240 at max rank at rank 1 the 10% more bonus AD is gonna have to be 1900 to outdamage nid spear and at rank 5 is gonna have to be 2400 at max rank not to mention AP champions have lower ratios because you get more AP than you would AD in a game. Even isolated He has to have approximatly 143 bonus ad at rank 1 (if my math is correct) and 69 at rank 5 to outdamage the nid spear. Keep in mind that the spear is ranged and has much less risk involved than going melee range and that the spear has an boosted execute tied to it and longer jump range on W.

The fact that these items are missing from AP champions doesn't mean they shouldn't exist. Quite the opposite; it shows they SHOULD.

The problem is that when Ekko or fizz get to build tanky they don't need to rely on having high damage output just look at their previous tank iterations they just do high burst while also having higher than average consistent damage for slowly beating down the other tanks/bruisers, again like i said in my original comment this pretty much boils it down to why AP bruisers aren't supported. > often times Bruisers are made attack damage so their auto attacks can provide more sustained damage without putting too much burst into a ability combo.

: @Riot: AP Fighter Itemization could be solved by introducing an AP Atmas and a Hextech Titanic
I feel like this would just be built on things like Ekko or Fizz and just break them as opposed to the champs who these would be intended for. Honestly there are only a couple intended AP bruisers in the game those being Cho and Galio and i imagine they would want it to stay that way, often times Bruisers are made attack damage so their auto attacks can provide more sustained damage without putting too much burst into a ability combo.

Anything for Shen perhaps kinda sucks having him be repeatedly nerfed because the very highest play can use him in their pro games. Thought on balancing around pro play too? Feels like so many champs are just left in horrendous states because of pro play and it's super frusterating as someone who enjoys a few of those champs
: perma banned after 1 game back lol
A. It's impossible to confirm what you said through only your side of the convo B. Just don't type, honestly you probably wouldn't have gotten in trouble if you didn't type more all it did was make you look super defensive and even more guilty and whiney. C. just go bot for one game dude it's not the end of the world, idk what happened but the lane you call in blind pick for reporting sense doesn't matter at all or just duo top and don't type and play the game

Any plans for Fiddlesticks, really lacks alot of counterplay in lane and in general doesn't have much room for counterplay within his kit. Really feels awful to play against a point and click fear chained into a silence that is also point and click. I don't mind the poke and shoving during laning that is fine to have as a strength but he really lacks any way to retaliate other than getting ganks
: She could use some love scuttle crab meta and jungle changes hurt her as well, being a tank doesn't have the fastest clears.
Moreso in that she was reworked because all of her power was in her ultimate so her other abilities kinda sucked and now we have a state where the main draw of her rework in her E got nerfed disgustingly hard and alot of her power is once again in her ult

Thoughts on funneling strats as a whole, doesn't really seem to be slowing down too much and it's one of the least fun things i've played against in a long time. Also anything on Sejunai kinda sucks having one of the main concepts of her rework in her E just get nerfed to the ground

: So is Riot fine with Kaisa as she is
Guess so, bend over for your ADC overlords that do the job of Assassins and poke mages ontop of scaling the hardest out of any role

: We had done the one nerf to DH on Aram back in...December I believe, and recall that it changed it reasonably. Does it still feel completely over bearing to you guys? See below for a graph that shows some of the relative performance of keystones from back in mid January when I pulled the data as followup, not entirely sure what it looks like now, but suspect it's similar. The red bars indicate number of plays with the keystone, and the winrate% is well...winrate. Tons of nuance here though since it's not broken out by champs that might abuse it more (Ezreal, J4, Ekko as you mention). https://i.imgur.com/hdx7ii1.png
Sorry for the late response but yes i would really enjoy it being toned down there really isn't much you can do when people can just stall out games with it and it really doesn't provide many opportunities for outplays either. It's just not a fun rune in general, it leaves an unsatisfying feeling at least you have the illusion of being able to outplay electrocute or meteor as they come out as you're being hit by things and can be avoided Dark harvest is so frontloaded and there isn't any chance to miss it.

: This is merely my personal opinion, but I'd really prefer if supports didn't have to buy Sightstone as a first rush. With the nerfs to Ardent Censer shipping this week, we'll likely see supports going back to getting Sightstone as their first item, but is that world really better? Firstly, it's an item that doesn't offer much excitement for the support - and yes their role is to multiply their adc, defend from ganks, peel etc, but is buying an item that grants more vision something that a support is super pumped to do? It's certainly valuable, but having sightstone be an early purchase also means we're likely to see less agro bot lane fights due to it being harder for a jungler gank, it being harder for the laners to use FoW to their advantage to scare you into thinking their jungler is there by playing more agro in the lane etc. If we were to somehow do away with sightstone, or at least make it so the support didn't need to buy it, we'd likely see satisfaction in the role increase across the board as players got to make more exciting decisions in the item system. That world is harder to solve for, as the continuous narrative of how do we best support supports goes on. I think this year was a pretty marked improvement, but there's still some issues that need to be ironed out. If a support is intended to multiply the adc, giving them more gold and powerful items means their adc will be that much stronger. There's more to figure out than I can go into here, but it's a constant discussion that we're having on how we can improve the situation. EDIT: Adding a small disclaimer to the bottom of this since it got cross posted to Reddit. My first sentence should have read as "didn't have to buy Sightstone as a first rush". A world where the support doesn't need to build it all because of other means to gaining vision is an exciting world. What if there were other ways of establishing vision that weren't based on an item purchase? Things like Zombie/Poro wards in runes reforged come to mind when I think about it, but maybe there's more that we could do. I certainly didn't intend this as an official stance on Sightstone and it's place in the game. This was just my personal opinion on something KempyreanPirate was curious about. Sorry for the confusion!
The only alternative for supports were buyable green wards and those were removed for some reason, i love being able to buy a couple greens and rush Frost queens claim on mage supports it let me extend my lead and carry. Once those were removed there wasn't really an alternative Trinkets can't be faster recharging or they would just eclipse other items like sightstone and you can only have one control Ward out. If you don't want this to be a problem Green wards for like 25 gold could solve that problem of having it be first rushed every game.

Are you not concerned that you buffed Fiora back to her state when she was pick or ban and now are Nerfing bramble vest her counter. Pretty much huge buffs to Fiora all around the board and Janna seems like a buff overall to a 55% winrate champion the ardent will hurt her but i doubt more than 2-3% which will still see her above the curve for such a (mind my language) braindead champion she needs some sort of counterplay to her just Tapping R and giving everyone windspeakers buffs while knocking back anyone who dared try to engage on her.
: Xin Zhao Gameplay Update - To the Arena!
I'm really worried it's gonna feel really clunky to play I don't want to be critical but when Reksai was changed she got her ult changed to feel super bad with the whole reused assets. I really hope he gets unique animations and his W feels unique because let's be real it's literally the same ability as Sejuani W I'd imagine without hp scaling. You guys really got your work cutout for you because his kit also sounds super dysfunctional where he wants to autoat tack but also just has his W and R that most likely have longer animations and finally the removal of his ability to fight bruisers on his old passive shredding resists which helped him work as a frontlines killer and squishy diver. I'm just a bit worried that this will hurt him more then it helps he already has a fluid kit and just giving him random mechanics feels really forced instead of embracing his playstyles.
: Runes Corner: More Precision Runes
The Tenacity seems like it pushes champions who are already out of the meta even further you can't enact knockups suppression isn't or knockbacks so it does nothing to stop Janna, Alistar, Lulu from rendering champions useless but pushes already weak Leona, Morgana (somewhat niche) and others who rely on stuns out. Tenacity needs to affect the actual effects you want to reduce like point and click 2.5 second supression or being knocked out of fights by ults or Alistar W. Either that or there needs to be some sort of stat or item to counter knockbacks and being cc chained so champs like Darius and other immobile champs can do something
: If it's the Attack based path why does it offer Tenacity? That would fit better in the Tank/Defense Path. Maybe change it with Crit or AD? Then we enable the 3 main choices (DPS, Sustain, Burst) for ADC's. Is this also the "main" Path for Assassins? Haven't really seen Pen/Lethality related runes or some cool minigame with a Kill as reward.
I imagine since it's a normal rune so tanks have an option to take as a side path. They want it AD centric but I don't honk they would make every single rune in it need to be run by assassin's or ADCS
: {{champion:12}} {{champion:201}} {{champion:427}} {{champion:89}} {{champion:223}} {{champion:44}} {{champion:412}} {{champion:53}} would love 28% tenacity. Tenacity isn't an ADC rune.
Except they don't get it until very late into the game and also have to go down a tree that might not synergies with them. Seems like it's a rune designed for top laners because if you don't have it stacked before you finish laning other runes outperform it too long for it to be worth taking. Also supports don't need as much Tenacity because if they rarely get CCED for extended periods of time.
Meddler (NA)
: Any specific thoughts on what? Agree it's a ripe space to change.
To add my idea to what GerAvos said something like being able to send back an item to the store to be restocked instead of having to go back every time would be pretty neat, supports could use it alot for sightstone and laners if they wanted to could use it for refillable potions or perhaps to make it less niche you could just buy consumables from lane it might seem strong but losing the other keystone for an early advantage of potions and wards on support or lanes could mean alot for this to be not abused. Another idea i had was having minion interaction like you could hire scouts that would act as a ward until killed and patrol similar to Kalista W or have reinforced cannon upgrades on 1-3 waves where they take less damage letting you seige earlier, just some ideas off the top of my head but they seem to fit the description you were looking for.

: Was definitely too strong and a consistently good a pick. Unclear where he sits now so definitely needs monitoring.
I just find that every time you try to do anything he just presses R on them and you have to disengage because you can't burst that person down usually with the damage reduction and you can't stay there or dive in because of the CC. Feels like another global ultimate that prevents anything meaningful from happening in games that contain him, Shen faces a similar problem in my opinion he has alot of utility but he needs to be able to fight people so one of their abilities is super overloaded damage wise to the point where they have this game changing ultimate for their team but can also present kill pressure. IMO Galio and Shen shouldn't be able to kill you unless you take really bad trades, they are utility champs with alot of CC not duelists.
: @Riot What's the big deal with these Shyv changes?!
Keep in mind the Ad scaling is TOTAL AD so the 134 AD also comes from base AD as well so after like one AD item you are doing more then old version

: Great, there is no escape of the almighty Urgod. Gonna use this while standing there and spamming taunt. Need to get lvl 7 with Urgod so I can spam mastery emote while ulting someone out of base. :^)
The thing is they can QSS it or if you die before the ult goes off it cancels, seems pretty weird for an ult with so many requirements to be Qss'able thought Riot changed it to not just invalidate powerful ults. Urgot has to land a skillshot AND have them at 25% hp for him to even reel them in, Fiora mid game ult does like 35% or more of someone's hp in true damage.

: New Urgot Ult Range?
Yes he can as long as they don't heal above 25% hp ult is global range and even if they get healed while in the ult by some random reason it still kills

Something I have really wanted for a while now is something for aggressive supports, will there be more offensive options for them. I really don't like being forced to go down the cunning tree for bandit really limits supports options. Would be cool if there was something like kalista's W passive where you mark tem do bonus damage if your ally attacks them.

: I see,in the future league is going to be full of Rakans,Camilles and Yasuos with milion dashes around ,blinks and stuff. I really like having something simple like Nasus and Garen , what is wrong with something simple to chill and relax. I hate what league is becoming really...
Everyone of those has the potential to be outplayed and their kit's insentivise iteration with your opponent. Nasus just farms a lane, and gets rewarded with free damage for doing a basic function of the game. And like most champions they beat him early or get camped so hard they can't stop him unless their jungler comes up, now lets fast forward to 20 minutes, Nasus is generally farming a side lane away from everyone else still not interacting with other champions he is just a ticking timebomb of either you have good kiting and he still is useless and screwed over his team for 40 minutes for nothing or he near one shots the squishy champion once he pops stormraiders on a frontliner. Neither of these options feel good for anyone either his team and him feel bad because he is useless all game or he feels good while everyone else feels bad
Rioter Comments
: Nasus needs to scale harder into the mid- late game
Nasus has a toxic play pattern so i don't think they want to make him even worse, he farms and gets damage while building full tank, alot of people don't find that interactive or fun in the slightest.
: W buff on taric?
I think he isn't meta because of his laning phase, he just doesn't have enough range to contest the Lulu, Karma, Zyra meta but in a melee support meta he can go crazy since he has everything a melee support wants. It's not him per se it's really just the meta

: Is it possible to cancel recall when both Xayah and Rakan recall together?
I believe that they will stop the recall when they take damage, that said Shields don't count as doing damage to the champion so that is why sometimes a Rakan being auto attacked will still complete the recall.
: Pretty disappointed in how riot is handling balance and design recently
They don't want to make her passive go off every game because playing against it is already stupid as hell since you get forced into a minigame inside the game and RNG can punish you for ganking one side of the map
