Disappointed but not surprised.

: So, what happens to the arrow during his animations? I like the idea, but you didn't put much thought into this did you?
I really don't see how going in-depth on the idea on a forum comment that a Rioter hasn't read would help my case. I'll explain, though: Since the skin is only a 975 RP, the arrow wouldn't interact all that much with his animations. It would only stay there due to Warwick's model naturally needing something on his back. Like I said, it would be closer to Grey Warwick's sword. The object itself doesn't need to "interact" with anything during any animation excepting his W. The arrow could have a low opacity to make it look almost spectral and would change its hue to red when Warwick's W is activated or triggered. The luminosity of the eyes should be yellow, as that was Feral's original (and more wolfish) eyecolor. The bloodscent trail could even stay red, it'd look great in contrast to golden eyes. The Q, simply to go along with the theme, could also be yellow along with the slashes of his ult. Believe me, I've put a lot of thought into this and how it can be fixed/redesigned. There's a looot of ways to go, Riot simply didn't much care of staying loyal to the original skin concept.
: Good Evening! Thanks for opening this discussion, as it helps give us players a sense of Riot's creative direction. I've been excitedly waiting for this rework to drop the past few months, and when I saw the champion teaser earlier last week, I couldn't help but fanboy at Warwick's new look. I've currently been testing his kit on the PBE, and have been loving every minute of it. However, I'm currently in the same boat as the users that dislike the reworked Feral Warwick. The previous iteration of the skin, to me, fulfilled the fantasy of a runaway beast; bloodthirsty, wild, unhinged -- exactly what feral is supposed to convey. And the textures of the previous skin reflected that. You had these broad claw-marks on his back, minimal clothing, broken chains, a wild-eyed visage. I understand that with the current iteration, Warwick is presented as, similarly, a runaway beast, but one that has been experimented on. For some reason, I find myself disconnected with the skin -- especially considering its effects and presentation seem lackluster in comparison to it's 'cheaper' counterpart, Tundra Hunter. The loss of this skin's identity to me, however, occurs somewhere in Warwick's transition from, I guess a 'visceral, unhinged, unruly beast', to a 'torn lab-coated, belt-buckled experiment.' It feels more like it would fall into the lines of a Hextech/Augmented or an 'Uncaged/Test Subject" line instead of 'Feral' It's truly hard for me to say in words, but I believe, currently, that if perhaps (in order of importance): 1) More clothing was removed, replaced with a similar torn fabric/loin cloth akin to pre-rework. 2) A few more scars added and the colorings/textures darkened, allowing this skin to align more with the fantasy of being 'feral' -- blackened/dark fur, battlescars, etc. 3) VFX on eyes when Blood Scent is active -- Perhaps an yellow tint, again referring back to pre-rework 4) Replacing leather straps/belt-buckles with broken, rusted chains 5) Replacing his canister-tank on his back with something a bit more 'Dangerous, escaped beast', perhaps an object similar to Grey Warwick's Sword, something weighty and heavy, like a ballista bolt. 6) Replacing pseudo-claw with similar less-technological iron gauntlet? Again, I enjoy _everything_ about the rework aside from these few disconnections I have with the Feral skin. I hope all ends up going well, and look forward to see any changes/progress made towards Warwick!

: Warwick Skin Feedback
Reav3, I understand the reasoning that went behind the skin redesign of Feral Warwick - HOWEVER, people did not buy this skin years ago for how it looks now. They bought it for how it looked before. Thank you for explaining, but this does not really make amends to the players who had bought this skin for the way it originally looked like and giving back a completely different redesign that doesn't appeal to the majority. I'm sorry to sound harsh, but if I buy an Arcade Hecarim skin it's because of the way it looks. If the Arcade Hecarim skin were to be redesigned into Modern Warfare Hecarim because of the lore behind it, which doesn't appeal to me anymore, I'd feel scammed. It's simply not a fair thing to do to the playerbase that already invested real money into this skin. Keeping this skin as a separate concept would've been a better and more fitting solution than giving Feral Warwick a completely different feel.

: Feral Warwick isn't Feral anymore?
Completely agree. I loved this skin when I first bought it a few years ago, even if some people labelled it as a recolor. Feral Warwick in essence was a bulkier and wilder werewolf theme and I couldn't get enough of that, whereas this seems completely unrelated to its name. (A psychward, really?) The default skin is more similar to what Feral could be than this... As a suggestion, I clearly remember Feral Warwick having arrows on him - the thing on his back could just be one of those arrows, simply stylized similar to Grey Warwick's sword. I'd also like to point out that this is marked as 975 RP but Tundra Hunter's effects change more. Rito pls. This redesign alienated most of the people who liked and own this skin. If Riot would keep it like this, can I please have my RP back? Thank you.
