No that's the new champ, but "army of one" and that pic seems suspiciously like Pantheon

Is it me or the client pic makes it seem like Pantheon is the upcoming rework?

: Couple of updates and plugs VGU Tier list from a rioter from about a year ago And shameless mention for my own rework idea. Same basic idea (ish) No comment on your because at this point, there's nothing to say. I need gameplay if I'm going to talk about it.
I refrained from adding too much on gameplay as I'm more interested on the conceptual level of how she should fulfill her telekinetic blade fantasy and how it's been done in other media. I also feel that's something better left in Riot's fully capable hands, I just mainly want to share ideas. Champion kits can take months or even years to figure out, and also involve a lot of collaboration with concept artists, testers, etc. I do imagine she'd have her blades tied to her passive, and her ultimate would only strengthen this aspect, whether that's additional physical blades, phantom blades in addition to her main physical blades, maybe all her blades are now phantom blades and her ultimate gives each a will of it's own. There are so many directions they can take and I doubt her eventual rework will have her with the current lame surfboard she has and 4 silly blade pellets. I'm reminded of Irelia's original concept art (they may even use this) http://2p.com/home_page_banner/3033216.jpg

I also like to note that there are also irelia mains than nunu, i also have friends who uses irelia(like today, my firend always uses irelia) . based on the criteria of the next VGU. A champ should have no back to back position/lane/faction to VGU champ before that champ. > > > nunu deserves to be the next VGU No more tanks, for the love of God.
I too am tired of tanks but I will admit, if any champ deserves their VGU it's Nunu. He's as old as Warwick (maybe older) and still hasn't received his VGU, it's pretty embarassing. I personally believe they're not sure what to do with Nunu, and by the time they think up a suitable kit, they're just gonna delay him until snowdown for business related reasons. If he is the next VGU however, that feels fair, and I'd be happy for Nunu players.

: Their will be a small bit on Aatrox, yes
Could you guys consider giving Aatrox a laser beam similar to Devil Kazuya/Jin from Tekken? I doubt it's possible or would even be healthy but could be cool and replace his E as his ranged waveclear option. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMaY0KXyhPw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fIEGs7OIBE

: Irelia Rework Gameplay Inspiration
Some more evidence Irelia is soon. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CKsTmgtUwAA9wrq.png This splash update was shown in an LCS game 2 years ago but never made it to live. The only similar situation was Warwick's updated splash leak at Worlds 2014, which took until mid 2016 to appear on live (and is now replaced with his VGU splash). https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8QBxEsONUWQ/Vwg7R3KP_KI/AAAAAAAA5tY/t0fMnB4iW4graz-ynL65VEWC6AdhstAdA/s640/Warwick_Splash_0.jpg Swain and Eve also received updated splash art updates mid 2016, Eve has received her VGU, and Swain is the next to release. Why Irelia is the only one not to receive her updated splash is a mystery but I presume it's iceboxed until her VGU, and something similar will appear using it as influence. Warwick's pre-VGU updated splash is quite similar to his current VGU splash for example. That splash also suggests they've been doing exploration work for quite awhile on Irelia so i have no doubt she's very soon.
: She is the next VGU and no i dont know anything besides she is an one of Ionians head generals
I'm also quite confident she's the next VGU and would be quite surprised if she wasn't. I believe the Immortal Journey skins were not only inspired from her in progress rework, but also a technology test for her telekinetic blade theme. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktZiuSvaISw

: Bias
Not sure how I'm biased when one of Riot's own criteria for VGU is diversity. We've had many tanks/juggernauts in the past two years. Akali/Irelia have been requested far more than Voli and promised for years without delivery. Akali/Irelia are both not delivering on theme/gameplay at all, whereas Voli still plays like a lightning bear immobile juggernaut, just poorly. It's also possible to do small work on Voli similar to Cho to give him more sticking power, the same is not the case with Akali/Irelia, they have far bigger kit issues. Akali plays nothing like an assassin should (i blame Rickless for making this issue far worse and should be kept away from a rework) and Irelia doesn't deliver on her telekinetic blade fantasy whatsoever. Akali/Irelia both have more outdated models/animations than Volibear. Irelia is one year older than Volibear and Akali is a year and a half older, just look at their models, especially the hair. They're a mess of polygons and deserve better. Swain's rework, Kayn's release and the Vastayans, also opens the door for an Ionia update. Ionia is a major point of tension in the lore especially relating to Noxus. {{champion:39}} being somewhat {{champion:50}} 's counterpart is not living up to her theme either.
: I guess it would be Volibaer, since He's listed for a rework, and with Ornn beeing the newest champ, and also his brother, it would make sense to me.
My issue with Volibear being next is that we've had so many tanks/juggernauts in the past two years. I really think Riot needs to work on some fighters/assassins. Irelia and Akali have also been promised for years but repeatedly delayed. The Noxian invasion is a key part of the lore and Ionia is ripe for an update with Swain's rework, Kayn's release and the Vastayans. Volibear can be temporarily solved with some small updates like other older champions have received recently. Akali and Irelia suffer from severe identity crisis, outdated kit, and very weak gameplay compared to possessing some of the highest thematic potential. They also have very aged visuals/animations, just look at Irelia's hair. Yes there are bigger problem champions like Nunu and Morde but I believe these would fit better for next year's harrowing and snowdown respectively, similar to Eve being released close to the harrowing this year. Just my thoughts.{{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}
: So where is the Champion Roadmap?
Really hoping for Akali or Irelia next. Pantheon and Morde are two other major ones and Nunu is perhaps in need the most, but i feel he can wait until the Winter season. It makes the most sense from a business perspective, thematic and dev time to have Nunu at the end of the year. It'd also be nice to have some more carry orientated champs reworked for a change. We've had a lot of utility/tanky champions reworked up until recently.
: Upcoming VGU's prediction w/ smart analysis
I really think that {{champion:84}} should be the next VGU after {{champion:50}} or {{champion:82}} with {{champion:20}} being at the end of the year. Why? {{champion:20}} fits the Winter thematic too well and will be one of the biggest VGUs to date, meaning a lot more time may be needed. Nunu + big Winter event = high player numbers and sales. Why {{champion:84}} ? She's easily the most outdated assassin in current League, and is no longer even optimally played in mid due to her outdated kit. Instead she bullies bruisers/tanks top lane, due to a poor mini-rework that took away her hyper carry assassin playstyle with awkward forced delays. {{champion:55}} and {{champion:91}} had really well made reworks especially Katarina imo, so I think Akali deserves similar modernisation to keep up with them. League has also been shying away from assassins and carries in general with {{champion:141}} {{champion:164}} being recent exceptions. Why {{champion:82}} ? I don't even think this needs explaining.
