: in competitive play you get to see your opponent, you get to scrim against them, you meet them in solo queue. You get to know their champ pools inside and out. That's what competitive play entails... It's the reason G2 didn't win EU LCS, because they were dumb and let the worlds best Tristana play tristana. You can't expect people to not ban out your champion if you are a one trick, this is why one tricking sucks realistically. Expand your champion pool.

Expand your champion pool. oouf sadly the game is broke and if your secondary picks aren't meta it's not viable kek
: You know they called it "COMPETITIVE" for a reason right? Like it's not really competitive but you get what I mean if you're smart

: When I play Anivia, I ban Yasuo every time. He is beyond frustrating for Anivia and he is picked a lot. Overall, when I face a difficult matchup i will use my e a lot to last hit, and only q when they step out of line or try to dive. A lot of those champs can dodge your q easy, but once you hit 6 it gets miles easier. Just farm safe under tower and try to get the other player to make the mistakes pre-6. One freeze under tower and they could be dead.

One freeze under tower and they could be dead. Except farming under tower is disgustingly hard for Anivia lol With her auto-attack speed, she can't follow the same logic of "Auto backline once, wait for tower shot, auto again" in addition to the melee minions of 2 tower shots and auto, sometimes the speed isn't fast enough The worst part of it all is that you have to start working on the backline before you decide to get the front line minions, so if you don't bother autoattacking the backline or sending one charge of Q on them, it kinda screws up your farming under tower because your AA-speed is around the same speed as the Tower Shot. But generally people on the other team will take this as an opportunity to poke
: With Brand it's about trying to stay away from his Q to avoid the stun. Remember that Brand's abilities are shorter ranged, and while your E is also a short range, it should be easy to stay inside the range for it. Post 6 that match up becomes a bit easier, try to drop ult under him and wall him off and then you can attempt to Q + E him. That match up really isn't easy, and I some times have some problems with it myself but it is manageable. Fizz is just one match up you really can't win. I'd argue that Fizz is one of the biggest counters to Anivia (Next to {{champion:38}} ) and fighting him has never been easy. Best thing I could suggest would be to get an early {{item:3102}} as that really is the only way to really manage that match up. Though I've also had success a bit when I built tanky first one time with rushing {{item:3070}} {{item:3001}} as my first items. Doing that would be an option but that really depends on your team comp and how the enemy team comp is as well.

I heard that building Abyssal Mask was successful, but so was going the Unsealed Spellbook build with resolve secondary. Thoughts on that?
: its all about learning the perfect timing to stun and negate his perfect E Q, it gets less tricky and more tedious once you have vs'd him as much as i have (every 2nd game it used to be)

And this isn't assuming bad yasuo, more of like yasuo one-tricks lol
: i used to play a fair amount of anivia so ill try to give pointers, but some tips may feel outdated *BRAND* try to anticipate when he will go for his W, make sure he cant follow up q stun you and when you feel hes about to W throw out your Q E back off and try to win the trade, post 6 same thing but be more careful for his ult and more agressive with your ult ****CASSIOEEAEPOEAEEAOIEAEAOEIEIOEAPEIA**** (did i spell it right) uuh, this one is quite trickier, as she goes to q you try to zone her off kiting via a Q, if shes moving in one direction you can get her to back off a bit by q'ing her mid q cast or having a position where she gets hit by q or has to leave the engage, this is a bad matchup until you can start bursting her ****FATASS**** wait, people play him mid, wait, people play him, wait, him, play passive and try to outfarm him, predict barrel which can get hard and tedious, if he tries to engage wait for him to land the E, then combo him, remember if you get e'd or ulted by him your ult will go down, if he ults you seperate the gap with your wall at the right time ****OH HELL NO**** nope, no tips, good luck with that nonsense ****BIRDMAN**** well, its all about out-trading him, if he dashes throw a q if you can, otherwise he can poke you safely so farm until you can fight back, if not, out-trade him ****BOOPITY BOOPITY BOOP**** stay close to him but out of his short range boops, when he goes to auto and your in this range throw a Q, remember if he w's you can cancel it with your Q, remember he cant double tap his q like you can ****WINDCANCER**** learn to dodge his q's (nado and no), dont try to q unless its a double tab Q when he dives on you then E, you cant poke him but you can punish him for trying, if he tries to go for the E Q R then wait for the moment he needs to do the final E and stun him mid E, timing can get a bit rough

: Things i expect for Diana IN 2018 (RIOT THIS IS FOR YOU)
I logged in to upvote, because this deserved it lol I hope this gains enough momentum for developer attention (probably won't but I hope it does) I think adding an escape into her kit somehow like being able to R to allies or something like that would place her back into the meta, she just seems to be an all in for ADC type of champion but with all the shields and heals in this meta she's been kicked to the curb since she can't really complete her job anymore. I wish you luck :)

: I don't quite get this logic when thinking about it. Basically you're saying you had your time wasted, and therefore you should be rewarded. Imo the extreme of this would be that you queued up, got into champ select, someone dodged, and now you want ip/xp for it. This is effectively the case you're making because the only difference is that a loading screen and 3 minutes of gameplay was added on...

This is effectively the case you're making because the only difference is that a loading screen and 3 minutes of gameplay was added on... You're being ignorant. Draft gives you 20 seconds to ban. Lets say everyone took half the time for that. 3 people on each team able to ban. 6x10 = 60 Seconds. = 1 minute Everyone picks a champion, you're allotted 30 seconds to pick a champion. Lets say everyone takes 2/3rds of that time. 20 Seconds. 20*10 = 200 200/60 = 3 and 1/3rd minutes Let's say the average load screen time is 4-5 minutes on top of that And lets add the in game time of 3 minutes. 1+3 1/3 + 4 + 3 That's around 10 minutes wasted -> Not to put in people leaving queues, not accepting matches etc all that other little bullshit It could take up to 20 minutes to get into a game because of all these complications, which is annoying. It's not rewarded Compensated Both give you things Reward -> You did something, you get something for it Compensated -> Something went wrong, you want something to make it up. And lets be realistic, no one here is expecting 80 IP for a remake. Maybe the equivalent of like 15 IP or something.
: Compensation For /Remake
I agree, but unless we can get someone from riot to pitch this idea it's pointless.
