: best way to leveling up?
No: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Experience_%28summoner%29 They are all literally identical. I assume if your only goal was to farm xp and hate life, killing TT bots is easiest because you can solo win games, unlike in 5v5. I have no idea how little someone would value their own life to be willing to solo farm bot games for xp.

: You guys need to get in touch with Mediacom. They own basically a monopoly on a major part of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Deleware, and Virginia. My ping on NA server is 150-60 average and 140 on a good day. It makes the game unplayable and I have no other ISP's in my area.

As far as I know Mediacom is the only ISP in IN that doesn't offer UHD streaming whatsoever, in spite of it being free to join Netflix's network.
: Peel and protect supports are *in* currently. Assassin's are *out* currently. Tank's are *in* currently. Guess which champion excels in this environment.

Pretty much. Jinx is the best ADC in the game against tanks, second to Vayne (who can't excel due to an epic garbage early and mid game). All she has to do is not feed and auto-wins late game as a secondary win condition due to her passive. She also has the highest combination of CC+damage compared to other ADCs. You'd have to remove features from her kit to hurt her win-rate, which honestly isn't really necessary, as she isn't overpowered. What needs to happen is the other ADCs need buffs, specifically Ashe, MF, Varus, and Twitch. Once other ADCs are on equal footing, suddenly Jinx loses lane consistently, and win-rates balance out accordingly.
: @Riot Are older Legendary skins getting updates?
Gentleman Cho'gath is incredibly poor for a legendary. It's essentially an inferior re-color with a VO. I know this because I bought it on release when it first came out. It has no particle effects, and actually an inferior base texture (as in worse than the default texture). Check him out in-game, the skin color on his head doesn't even match the skin color of his model, LOL. Bloodlord Vladimir and Brolaf are also just VOs at a premium price, which is BS.
: Can you give an example of a champ that you think fills Cho's role with more satisfaction and less frustration?
> [{quoted}](name=Riot ShadowStorm,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=uRv66Z91,comment-id=00090024000000010000,timestamp=2015-02-23T05:21:03.361+0000) > > Can you give an example of a champ that you think fills Cho's role with more satisfaction and less frustration? Maokai, Sion, Gnar, Hecarim, Renekton. The role being tanky dps that is more tank than dps, while providing massive disruption (but having the option of doing DPS if needed). Cho has long CDs and extremely short range for basically no reason anymore. Those prior listed champions do CHo's job better than him in basically every way. Power creep has rendered him obsolete, but that is easily remedied with any number of things, such as: - Mana cost reductions - Range increases - Hit-box increases (goal being mana efficiency) - Regeneration increases Cho obviously doesn't need more damage, he does fine when ahead. His problem is his extremely mediocre kit, with it's bad early game and total lack of mobility or reliability vs more modern champions. I recall the nerf chain Cho received in S3 due to him being a godly pick in S2; you guys just went too HAM. I will say Cho's Scream silence is still absurdly good, but honestly not in a healthy way. Silence in general, especially instant cast, shouldn't be in the game at all imo. Take the silence away and boost his power level to compensate. As for the 'support ADC' idea, It's definitely fun, but something no one outside of LCS play is going to get behind. When you pick ADC, that means Attack Damage Carry, and that's what people expect from that role. It's like sending Morgana or Lux mid; they are awful carries and usually ruin your winrate due to inconsistent late-game scaling. Those psuedo-support champions always end up being gold black holes on your team if all 5 players aren't on the same page on how to use said champion's skillset. LoL's meta changes yearly obviously, quite dramatically from S1-->S2, S2-->S3, but much less so from S3-->4 and S4-->S5. Here in S5, people adhere to the 5 roles very seriously, i.e. Top/Mid/Jungle/ADC/Support, which it seems Riot is also a fan of, given your balance catering to said meta. Through the direct balance changes thus far, Riot has removed tanks, melee carries, and back-dooring from the game entirely. I don't know if that was your goal, but that's the obvious result. If you're going to try to change the meta in future seasons, you guys need to pay more attention to how champion balance coincidences with the existence of other popular champions, as well as how current items affect those champions (along with their capacity o fill roles as a result). If you just look at champion win rates, that's equating correlation to causation. For example, Shyvanna and Dr. Mundo were God-tier picks and junglers up until you not only nerfed their aoe damage, but also forced junglers to use jungle items that only boost auto-attack damage. Of course aoe, magic-damage junglers (*cough* tanks) are going to be awful as a result. Like that's something that should've been noticed within minutes of playtesting.

: Riot, I really used to like your IP cost reduction on champion prices
The average 30m game gives you 55 IP if you factor in win vs lose, so to unlock a 6300 champion, it would take you 57 hours of in-game time. This doesn't include time wasted in queue, in lobby, or when games get reset due to AFKs or denials. This also doesn't include Win of the Day bonus, which is roughly 150 IP every 24 hours. To ball park it, most people are capable of unlocking 1x 6300 champion a month with fairly dedicated gameplay. The problem is, we haven't accounted for runes, rune pages, or an opening champion pool (aside from luxury picks). How much of Riot's player base plays LoL more than 20 hours a week? That's the only way new players would have a remote chance to unlock their needed content to play ranked effectively in a single season. Most people don't want a hopeless grind, nor have the time to do so. I suppose that's the entire point, to force people into buying RP for things other games give for free (i.e. DOTA2). In fact, I had 3 friends that I convinced to start up LoL in the last year that all got to around level 15 before they gave up on the pointless grind that is IP and XP gains. Speaking as a player who started LoL in Season 1, back in 2010, I hit level 30 in a single month, and earned enough IP to buy everything in the game in 6 months. Players starting now would be lucky to hit level 30 in 6 months, and have absolutely no hopes of unlocking just half the game's champions in 2 full years. That is simply absurd.

: Ashe's Q needs a stacking mechanic
Q needs a rework entirely. It would make more sense if Ashe's passive was a reduced, stacking, automatic slow (non-damaging Gangplank passive), while Q was something more power-level relevant. Volley could apply a max stack of the passive slow. No one is going to miss the junk auto-crit that's gimped by a full build. Q could be anything that thematically adds minor-mobility or deters mobility. Could be a ground-laid slow, an ice wall, a line skill-shot, w/e. Ashe needs a kit upgrade.

: Reaching high elo possible through maining top lane?
Unless you're Plat+ in personal skill, top lane can't carry a game alone, not even close. To carry top, you must destroy your lane, destroy their jungler, then make each and every teleport translate to an objective control win. You must do all 3 of these things in each game to carry. You die to a gank, you lose your lane, you mess up a TP and lose your tower for free, game over. Compare that to Mid or ADC, where you just need to win your lane, then roam to an objective (any objective). You increase your potential to carry a game by 35% or more. Jungler can potentially carry a game, but it's even less likely than top carrying a game, since you get much less gold/xp as a jungler and can be ganked at any time by their laners or jungler without map control, instantly losing a level or more. If you check the Challenger/Master solo queue listings, you will notice 40%~ of them are ADCs, 30%~ of them are Mids, and the final 30% is a wash of Top/Jungler/Support. That should give you a general idea of which positions carry hardest. I'm not saying Top carry is impossible, but I'm just saying it's going to make it 3x harder on yourself to do so compared to ADC or Mid.

While i don't know how your games actually happen I can tell you that with no deaths in all those games you basically left your team 4v5 too often. 8 games in a row with no deaths shouldn't be happening unless you're not exposing yourself to any risk aka you never actually get into range. If you were actually participating fully you would have at least one death in all that time. I have seen many players who show mastery of a champ with their skill shots and ability to play safe but still don't show enough face in team fights and the enemy team realizes it. Lux is pretty easy to "last hit" champ kills in team fights with her ability range. my ability to participate in team fights depends on how intelligent people are alot of people cant comprehend the idea of slowly moving forward while protecting lux until she pokes enemy team down with 1161 ap or 100-0s somebody and they dive in 3 screens ahead with some gap closer bullshit instead of being protected by my 1.2k health shield every 5 seconds on entire team that would easily block 15-20k damage in a team fight this still doesnt explain why riot gave someone that was virtually challenger at one point +9 -31 lp gains in season 5 plz explain? this shit has to be a bug there is absolutely no way anyone would be retarded enogh to program a game that way not even riot

There are multiple challenger players who specialize in Lux, and do not have perfect games (pretty much ever). Somehow I doubt you are the epic LCS player that is being gamed by Riot. It's much more likely you have bad personal MMR because you lose many games you should have won because you ran away instead of: - defending that turret - secured that dragon - protected your carry - etc. Lux is not a carry champion; she is a team enabler. She is basically a glorified support, like a mid Morgana or Orianna. If you are losing 31 LP per loss, it means MMR thinks you don't deserve to be where you are now. Win more games, more consistently, and play less selfishly.
