If your bench is full, you can't get champs. It converts it to gold the second you open the box.

Out of curiosity -- if you open a box containing a champion with a full bench, does it simply open as gold or display the champion first? I'm hoping the former, as it would suck to see a champion you NEED pop up only to be converted to gold.

: Mortdog, I'm okay with most of these changes, but have you looked into the Katarina buff? Her winrate spiked TEN PERCENT following the buff (from 45 to 55%). Basically went from bottom 10 champ to top 30... She is WAY too powerful now, pretty much an auto-win for people that actually know how to use her.
I agree actually. She was overbuffed. I'll be pulling back on her in 9.12.

Dangling a delicious carrot before the playerbase, one that actually made the gamemode bearable for the first time in years, then taking it away despite the overwhelming positivity of the changes, and without a sound reason as to why it was taken away, leads me to believe there was never any plans to follow-up on player feedback to begin with. Stop with the blanket statements and just give us, the playerbase, a little transparency in regard to the companies decision making...

In game if you mouse over the Howling Abyss buff, it will show if your champ has any adjustments. I'd love to get more info in the client/champ select as well, but currently no plans to do so.
: I play nothing but aram. Aram mmr is in top 1% and the changes have made me quit league. The game of aram is nothing like it used to be. Nothing but luck in games, who wins the team fight around 10 mins? They kill 2 paper towers. They want to die and buy! They die and the other team that lost both towers loss 4 and loss game. The damn towers are the single biggest problem, farts knock them down. Buffalo the towers so I don't just loss the game after my 18/1 ass gets killed so I can buy, just to see my team unable to to defend and loss the game

: Please be more clear about the buffs/nerfs when presented in patch notes. When I saw buffs to Maokai and Fiddle I was like WHAT?!! The patch notes should indicate a champion's current status.

You could get 25 from the milestone missions in 2 passes, putting you at 93, then buy like 2 boxes to be over 100 and get another skin !

It's not an RP bundle. It's a bundle in the event shop, using tokens.

: I'm kind of curious what riot's opinion on transcendence as a rune practically being mandatory for most champs here - the ad/ap it gains is just insane late, but i didn't see any changes one way or the other. Additionally, Spear of Shojin is just fucking insane in some ways but seems to remain fairly consistent in the cool-down comparatively to normal, especially in regards to the reduction for items like Protobelt, gunblade, etc. Lastly, any input on the strength of certain items compare to others, such as Edge of Night versus Banshee's veil or Zhonyas versus Guardian angel (guess that reads as active items just generally being better than Passive items) - or plans to incorporate other items that were removed, like ZZ'rot? I gotta admit, ZZ'Rot seems a lot worse with the Champion Canon. Also I am really enjoying the golden spatula club benefits - is that continuing? I forgot to check and I'm too lazy to scroll up.

That's the Attack/Defend variant. In order to win, the attacking team must successfully attack. If time runs out, the defending team has successfully defended, and therefore wins.

Right now the answer is "They're just for the event". But for example, we said the same thing with the other poro pets (Like Star Guardian), and we brought them back for this event. So there is a chance they will have use in the future, just nothing I can commit to.

I can answer #8 for you. The On-Fire Poro is exclusive to Nexus Blitz. There is no other way to get it other than the tokens. All the other Poro Pets (Star Guardian, Gentleman, Baron, etc) are in the store for 250 RP.

Sure. When developing the new leveling system last year, we were left with a tough decision. For 99.9% of players, it was impossible to level more than once in a game (even in a 60+ minute game running BOTH boosts and with bonus mission XP). But in the absolute WORST case (Level 1, same conditions) it was actually possible to level up 7 times (Level 1 to 8). The amount of development time to get the end of game ceremony to support 7 levels ups wasn't worth just how not-very-often it happens. So in the case where you would level up twice, we lower you to 1 XP short of the next level. It's a not ideal trade off, but part of game development is making hard decisions like this. For how unlikely this is to happen looking at the numbers, I think we made the right call and I'd make it again. It impacts low level smurfs, and the impact is quite minor (a game worth of XP at most).

So...I can't check for sure from home, but judging on your account level and what happened, I have a guess. As Full Brain pointed out, that 55 min match should grant you 302 base xp. However, the system is set up so that you can only level once per game. So if you were very low level (pre 10), and already close to leveling, and running boosts, then it's possible you missed out on some XP. If that's what happened, sorry about that! Also, totally don't mind helping...but that hostility makes it hard to want to do so :(

Reposting what I posted elsewhere: So let me try to clear up some confusion. Day 1 when this event launched, Odyssey and Co-Op vs AI games did NOT give tokens. This was always the intent. The point of the event is PVP games to celebrate worlds. A few days into the event, we noticed our mission service load was too high, and needed to make some tech changes to make sure it didn't crash. That change included what is now live, which is that you get two separate pips instead of one for S's and A's. (You used to get a pip saying "You got an S, here's 14 tokens", now you get two pips; "You got an S here's 8 tokens, and you won a game here's 6 tokens". We did NOT nerf token output. When we did this, a bug was let through that allowed Co-Op vs AI and Odyssey to start giving tokens. As mentioned, this was NOT intended, so we quickly fixed that bug. We did not take away tokens from people who used these methods (that would be unfair). But again, was never the intention. "But why does the article say RGM's?" We were debating launching an RGM like One for All during the Halloween part of this event, and if we did, wanted to be clear that tokens would count for those. However we won't be launching an RGM. Likely the correct move would be to remove RGM from the article. Now if you are someone who saw the gains from Co-Op vs AI/Odyssey, bought the pass thinking you were going to get a bunch of cool stuff easily, then we removed it and now you feel cheated...please submit a ticket by October 5th and we'll likely refund it. Again, no intention to deceive here. I hope this clarifies what happened.
