: Flex MMR isn't the same as SoloQ MMR, take it as old Ranked 5s, you'd gather your friends, your team places Gold, then you bump into another Gold team, but they're high Diamonds. This principle also applies to normals.

This principle also applies to normals. Their flex rankings were Challenger Challenger Challenger D4 D5 (Their ''diamond players'' have 70% win rate and very low game count, so yea, they're climbing and not really low diamonds). I'm flex Plat 1 queuing alone. They're a 5 man premade. Their D4 player is also a SoloQ 200LP Master player. I know it doesn't translate to flex MMR. Still total bs broken system. Solo queuing plat players should never play with of vs challenger(s) in ranked. Period.

: [On Why Ranked and Normals Have Separate MMR](http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/GD/6vH3Z1mY-on-why-ranked-and-normals-have-separate-mmr)
So, because Ranked and Normals Have Separate MMR, your Gold 5 GP should be able to face a Diamond 5 without losing badly/feeding/letting the other guy free farm? I love your wishful thinking.
