: A fourteen day ban is **not** fine, and you should write to Riot support to get unbanned. They will definately see that you are a new player, not intentionally feeding. And you really have to do it, because how the punishment system works, you are now basicly "flagged". So for next offence, be it for a reason or not, you could get your account permanently banned.
Thank you so much for the advice. It’s fine; I guess I’ll just move onto a new account and not let my brother touches it. Hopefully my match making would match my skill level and I don’t have to face anymore high-level smurfs and get smacked in the future.

However, the problem I’m seeing is that does a new player getting killed over and over again, outkilled by his smurf opponents, a type of intentional feeding even if it’s unintentional. I didn’t get banned for account sharing but intentional feeding. This makes me realize the problem of smurfs in the beginner level of the game. Could riot have a friendlier attitude if I make a new account, but still did poorly in game due to unavoidable smurfs?
: Play by yourself or with people of equal skill.
I fully understand the consequence. However, the problem I’m seeing is that does a new player getting out skilled by the opponent and didn’t do decent deserve to get a ban even if it’s unintentional? I think this happens in the community a lot and riot should have a reason for that.

: Unfortunately it is like that. Imo, people should not be able to report accounts that are under level 30 for that. I have a low level account on NA and I happened to play with new players. You can tell they are new to the game by the way they position and play. But that's ok. We all start somewhere. My first game on the rift I went 0/30 cuz lol I ran into turret trying to dive the person over and over again. No one told me turrets do damage or how to play. You will get better :) But this community sucks. people wish you cancer and get no bans and then there's you, a new player who tries to learn but has to deal with smurfs and gets suspended for feeding. Riot Logic in a nutshell. Riot has to stop smurfing but that's off topic, it's a problem for everyone. But I guess being high elo and stoming low elo must feel very satisfying. Since they are not good enough for their own elo xD

However, after the discussion with people on the Player Behavior Board, I recognized it might be my own problem. https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/ujz2rn1R-riot-please-take-a-look-at-your-new-player-unfriendly-environment My brother's initial showing-off on my account might ruin the MMR match making system. I'll definitely be more cautious in the future. I just hope I don't face any stomping smurfs in a new account because as you mentioned, the community is toxic towards new players. I believe the system will gradually improve in the future as new players increase. Have fun in your future matches!

I didn't realize it was a bannable offense. My brother was interested in me playing league and decided to show off some of his "skills" on the new account I just created. Thank you so much for telling me! I don't even know match system does that. In the future I will be aware and tell him to stay off from my account so I can learn. I really hope new players don't fight vs smurfs in the future due to matchmaking bugs, because that would ruin their gaming experience. Well it wasn't a bug in the matchmaking that caused it, it was Riot's new player detection they have implemented to try to avoid new players going through what you did. They have a pretty good system that separates smurfs from actually new players based on things like CS, time spent in shop, number of mouse clicks, etc that will separate smurfs and actually new players within 1 or 2 games. Like zPOOPz said, you're best off to start a fresh account at this point and make sure it's only you that plays on it. If your brother wants to show you anything, have him log onto his own account to show you.
Got it. Thank you so much! I'll take note of that and be more cautious in the future. What should I do with this account if I make a new one? Any advice?

: I see your brother played on your account the 2nd game of Normal you played. 215 cs in a 24 minutes game is fairly obvious not a brand new player playing that game. From my understanding of how Rito set up new account matchmaking, your brother may had screwed your account for you. Because he played for you and with such skill (8.96 cs per minutes) your very first couple of Normal games, matchmaking may had thought you are a smurf and put you with other smurfs for the rest of the games. My suggestion is to create a brand new account and do not allow your brother to play on it. Hopefully matchmaking will not think you are a smurf and not put you with too many other smurfs. Account sharing is a perma-bannable offense so probably a good idea to not use this account anymore anyway.
I'm so sorry for account sharing. I didn't realize it was a bannable offense. : I’m sorry that this has been your experience. :( Honestly, League as a game excluding the community is very unfriendly to new players. Put the toxic community on top of that and it gets really difficult to break into this game as someone who’s never played before. League just has so many complex parts that aren’t taught to you by tutorials. Things like what every champion does, champion matchups, how to last-hit minions and mechanics really only come with game knowledge and time. Things like what items to build, wave management, and macro are all skills that you usually have to learn by observing other players who are better than you. Of course there’s a lot more than that, but it was just to illustrate the point that getting into League is extremely difficult and the tutorial prepares you for almost none of that. You can try to appeal your ban to Riot Support, but otherwise if you have friends I’d suggest learning League as a premade group. It cuts out the potential for toxic teammates, and makes learning the game a lot more fun.
Thank you so much! I guess I'll ask some of my friends to play with me. A fourteen day ban is fine, but even although I kept apologizing and improving in game, some teammates were kept treating me with toxicity. I really hope I can get better and same thing won't happen again to other new players in the future.
