: isn't that kind of what an "emote" is though?
The Project one isn't a cartoon. The one you get from leveling up isn't.
: Patch 8.3 notes
I'd love to see more non-cartoony emotes. Is that possible, or do I just need to accept that emotes = cartoons? The ones I flash the most are my Project emote and my level reward one.
: Emote bundle sales are here!
I could possibly see myself buying emotes, but they're going to have to change the artwork dramatically. I'm not a big fan of the cartoonification that's going on with these.
: Can't edit Runes in Champ Select
: Now Testing: Ranked
How is it that you can earn Mastery 6 and 7 from the end-of-game screen? I thought that could only occur in the crafting screen.
: Riot Pls: Dynamic queue, sandbox, and League 2016
If I were able to make one change, above all I'd like to see Team Builder come back for normals. There's nothing worse than buying a new skin and hoping to get lucky enough to get your role and champ to be able to use it. I promise that I have purchased many fewer skins as a result of Team Builder going away.
: Welcome to the Aurelion Sol Q&A!
Creamy or Crunchy peanut butter?
: Retiring Dominion
There are so many comments here asking why they would remove Dominion. At the top of this page is a long article posted by Riot explaining why they're removing Dominion. I don't play Dominion, yet I still think it's kind of a bummer that it's going away. That said, I read the article and I understand why. {{summoner:17}}

Another marksman (Jhin) in the spot after Illaoi (meaning, the champion release slot after Illaoi's). In other words: "We felt there was a good case to release a marskman after Illaoi."

: Alaska checking in. Ping went from about 50 to 104. That's more than doubled, though it's probably not the end of the world. I'll give it a few weeks and see how much it matters. Congrats everyone east of the Rockies.

Much better than I had feared. I played a game with Alistar and was still able to combo just fine. I noticed a slight lag in my movements than from before, but nothing insurmountable.

: So as an Alaskan, the only ISP we have up here that gives us a good internet speed is GCI ( http://www.gci.com/ ). Is there any way you could look into adding them to the list of ISP's that you are improving routing for?

: We're still collecting information on Hawaii and Alaska connections, as both are unique cases when the severs move. We definitely don't want to leave anybody in the lurch, but it's difficult to solve for everybody. The information we're collecting (the same kind your friend submitted) will give us a better idea of what a "good" connection looks like from both regions, which then will inform our approach to making sure players in HI and AK are on the best possible connections they can be (e.g.: home connection optimization, ISP routing, etc).

Thank you! I'm not ready to assume you're just writing Alaska and Hawaii off, like so many are quick to assert. If/when you need help collecting any Alaska data, I'd be more than happy to assist in any way that I can.

I would like to officially volunteer to be an analyst for the new LCS Alaska region.
: Hey Riot Network crew, I appreciate you answering all these questions. I have one of my own: I live in Alaska and I don't see my ISP on your list. It's a local company named Matanuska-Telephone Association. I don't know if it will be an issue because they recently partnered with Verizon, but I just wanted to check, since I'm a little apprehensive, the servers are moving really far away for those of us outside the continental US!

: Game crashes with Connection Error always on the first login
I'm experiencing this exact same problem as well.
: Team Builder Skin Bug
Running into this issue in Team Builder as well. To ensure that I get the skin I want, before every match I select a different champ before going back and switching the champ I want. It then defaults to the classic skin, and I then select the one I wanted. It's some extra steps, but at least you get to use the skin you want to.

: What style of play did you create Rek'Sai to be? A Tank? An Assassin? Also what made Riot suddenly roll out lots of champions in small cycles? Thanks.
She appears to be a bruiser-type.
: How would you compare the traits of a female void creature to a male one? Similar to the difference between male/female yordles.
Kids these days: Wayne Campbell: Now tell me Noah. I always wanted to know. What is the difference between Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man really? Noah Vanderhoff: Well, she has a bow in her head. Wayne Campbell: That's it? Get right out of town! Noah Vanderhoff:(laughing) No! That's it!
