: Since when has "learn the matchup" stopped broken champs from being broken. Also, there's nothing to learn about a champ that can Q silence you, that deals a shit ton of damage since it applies on-hit effects with Triforce, which is near impossible to dodge since it gives Garen an MS boost and cc debuff, then his spin deals a shit ton of damage with attack speed. His ult does true damage and you can hardly hurt him since his W blocks all the damage. You can explain to me how am I supposed to stop a Garen from obilterating me as an ADC or support? Cause every time I go against a Garen they all in me and there's nothing I can do about. BTW, I'm not the one laning against him. Someone else on my team feeds him or let's him do decent in the lane and he just trickles down the lanes.

As far as I understand, Jarvan vs Riven is a skill based match up. Vs Teemo is autowin. And vs Darius is skill based/slight win. Vs renekton is kinda lose. Though it doesn't matter much if you're me and you need to learn the basics.

: Garen
In low tier, Garen is r%%%%%ed because if you can't reliably negate his Q, he gets free damage. Problem in high tier play is how bad he is. Since players regularly know to keep out of his range, and due to how limited Garen's options are for approach and attack, it's very easy to telegraph what he wants to do when he comes in to whack you. Garen is frustrating usually due to how well he can do in low and mid elos.

It's incredibly difficult. With this situation, no amount of insult or yelling will cause the Yi to budge. The moment you were stuck with him, the game was already destined to lose. Also... inflicting emotional harm to correct peoples' behavior doesn't work at all. It only either makes them not want to listen to you or do even worse out of stress.

: Remove Yasuo please
The Yasuo players are just going to shift over to another champion that generally plays in a similar fashion, high-risk-high-reward, easy to go on an ego trip with and etc. Also, that can't be true for all players. Most likely the games you had asshole Yasuo players are ones you remember more than the ones where you had okay to good ones. You're experiencing stress from having to juggle a lot of game crap in your head and trying to keep your cool around toxic players, while at the same time dealing with the stress of possibly losing. A person can only juggle so much crap until they cave in. Best thing to consider is think about how your own problems relate to the enemy team. Most likely they feel the same way you do with other champions.

: Bad Mouthing team mates
What could also help is attempting to reach out then finding out if you should mute them or not. Some people just say salty shit about others, but then you find out that they aren't actually salty at all. They just habitually talk shit about people no matter what.
: Sad ;-;
They're toxic because like breeds like and overall frustration. It's incredibly hard to them to see why they're stuck where they are so the only way for them to feel better about it is to vent it onto you. Whenever shit is going on, it never feels good to see your teammates making bad choices while you're dead and stressing about winnning. You have to understand that all the salty crap people say to you actually has nothing to do with you and is not about you. They have zero clue who you actually are beyond the specific mistakes they'll see every single one of while being completely blind to the fact that they're just as fallible as you are.

None, you'll always be at the mercy of your team, your own skill, and RNGesus. Since ranked LoL is always disorganized and such, the best meta picks are champions that can best exploit poor team coordination across all elos. IE Shaco.

: A lot of learning league up until the very highest levels is more to do with decision making, map awareness, and teamwork; the particular champion you're using doesn't have much impact on those skills. If you're at the highest levels where everyones decision making is roughly on par and everyone is playing their champs to near their full potentials, then the specific champions with their respective skill caps and kits is going to be a bigger deal, but for 99.99% of the player base thats not going to be the case. You can be playing garen (or any other 'simple') champion and focus primarily on decision making and you can climb up to diamond at least and your champ isn't going to hold you back (as evidenced by the <insert champ here> one tricks for that exist for pretty much every champ). If you're a sub-diamond player, than trying to juggle figuring out decision making at the same time as mastering high skill cap champion mechanics might be more ambitious than most players will realistically achieve. You'll improve both at the same time, but perhaps slower and it's easy to tunnel on one thing and not improve on the other.

: Hard vs Easy Champions
It depends on what you want to get done. Champions with much higher skill ceilings take a lot of mechanical practice to just be able to use properly. When people say focus on simple champions, it's assuming that you don't have the mechanical skills to be able to master champions like Riven. I would assume in high level play, the reason why high skill champions like Riven are there because they're already at top of their game; They're trying to maximize every advantage possible which would include picking a champion that rewards players who are able to harness the full power. That said, I believe it depends on the ranking you're floating in. When people talk about playing "hard carry" champions, they probably don't fully understand that the champion's ability to "hard carry" doesn't mean squat if the player him/herself cannot utilize the full power because of their lacking mechanical skills. I suppose "tryhard" players have this consolidated belief that champions that take a lot of skill tend to have better carrying potential which isn't completely false. A champion with complex mechanics is capable of flexibility due to the amount of options their kits give them such as Riven's entire moveset. I believe people who encourage playing champions like Garen are doing it because macro gameplay/the core fundamentals are much more critical than nuanced mechanics. A Riven with Gold/Plat level mechanics but silver decision making skills are going to find themselves at a loss compared to a Garen with silver mechanics with Gold/Plat decision making skills. A good example of simplicity in gameplay would be taking a look at games like the smash brothers series. Characters with straightforward kits are not at all hard to play. Take Mario from SSB4 for example. While it doesn't take many brains to play him, actually trying to master him becomes hard as it requires the player to have a strong grasp on mix ups since it's very easy to start playing him in a predictable fashion. The simpler the character, the more straight forward their goals are for both you and your opponent to see. This however comes with its advantages. Sometimes if a character is too complex for the players, while they may be able to execute more complex set of moves, the chances of messing up with them and losing it is higher. At the end, it's mostly up to preference and ability.
