: Riot should learn from Hi-Rez about skins (+list of champions with 1000+ days break)
The only problem i have with them waiting on champions to get a new skin, is that more often than not the wait is too long that you get high hopes that since it is taking too long the skin better be worth the wait. It seems to be that when they do have a champion that waited too long for a new skin its very lackluster. Take Taric, he was one was of my go to champion. Waited forever for a new skin only to get the boring Pool Party skin, definitely not worth the wait. The main problem with this all lies with Riot. Champions aren't popular enough because of their play style, or how they look. If they made champions like how their customers wanted they would be buying more skins, or playing said champion more. Its sad when X-champions who has 10+ skins is getting yet another one, but others who go years without one (or without a decent looking skin) gets shafted yet again. Goes to show Riot isn't all about Inclusivity.
: Why did I get banned exactly?
Because that's how the punishment system works. You admit to saying worse things and now its just finally catching up to you!

Just because he banned your hover after asking for the lane is not proof. (Probably true but not proof) Yes, since common sense is not a thing in the modern world.
But its not common sense. You dont know what their intentions are. Maybe they dont like seeing the champions (on the team or against it) maybe they just got out of a game that someone did horrible. There are many reasons why someone might not want a certain champion being played. Unless they flat out state they are doing it to intentionally spite you, you cannot without a shadow of a doubt say something is common sense when there are too many variables at hand!
: Rules Change Suggestion
I do get what you are saying, but sadly Riot had already tried lessening the punishment with just chat restrictions. Because of this, changing the way chat restrictions works and either only punishing people with chat restrictions, or giving them more chances to get away with it sadly just isn't going to work. With that said, if your plan was to go live, I don't see how it would work. So basically there are two different types of punishment people can get? So what happens if someone gets punished in the other category, but then does something against the chat punishment category?Do they go up in the punishment, or basically go down because now they are punished for chat? Not only that your other punishment makes no sense in the fact of severity, especially when you put things like cheating (i assume you mean things like hacking/botting) and intentionally feeding in that same category. What exactly will having a larger queue time going to do towards people who break the rules like this? Those types of severe cases should always result in an automatic 2 week ban/permanent punishment especially with how long it takes to actually confirm it! All in all it doesn't seem like you understand Riot's way of punishing people. They don't want to people to come back when they have been permanently ban. This is why we have 3 chances. Its the right amount that shows people they shouldn't be breaking the rules. And that's the main point. You aren't suppose to be breaking the rules. Giving people more and more chances just makes them do it more because their mentality will be that getting punished isn't that big of a deal when it should be.

: NB3 still unbanned? RIOT?!?!
Sadly thats one of the perks of being a streamer. You get special privileges.
: What is this NB3 thing everyone so mad about?
basically NB3 was streaming, someone off-meta picks Teemo Support, this ticks off NB3 and harasses this person both on stream and in game chat. Tells said person he will contact his personal Rioter and have his account ban, After awhile he AFK (along with other people on the team). Said person gets ban, despite not breaking the rules to some extent, while NB3 knowingly broke rules, but got off scott free!
: Riot is hopeing the NB3 controversy blows over and people get tired of talking about it.
I mean this isn't anything new for Riot. It happen when the whole No-males allowed panel at some convention. Also happen with those other off meta bannings. As a community i think we should try and get something out of them, because them staying silent/keeping NB3 side makes them seem like everything he does for/on the game as acceptable. Everyone should be treated equally as per Riots ToS states. This is an abuse of power because they are letting him get away with breaking the rules. If he is allowed to break the rules and not get punished. Then whom every follows in his footsteps shouldnt get any punishment as well. Its just childish and shows that Riot isnt for helping the community!
: Stop making posts trying to ridicule Nightblue and praising Nubrac unless...
: Can we pls make it so you dont lost lp for trolls
How exactly would they be able to do that? It would need to be instant in order for you to report someone who was trolling and not lose LP. If it works how the system is now, it would cause so much problems because of how long it takes to confirm someone is trolling!
: so why do players like too see people hurt
I mean it sucks, but sadly some people just want to see others suffer. They know it gets to you so that is why they do that. The best way to deal with people like this is to just not give them attention!
Jåg (NA)
: Revising the ban system
But they have already tried that. Twice! And both times have shown that people don't change in this context. You have to remember this is suppose to be a punishment. The only way to punish people in this game is to revoke access to the account. If you cannot follow the rules that you said you were going to follow when you made your account why should you be allowed to play on said account? The only way to get punish is if you break the rules and even when you do you get numerous chances to change unless you break rules like cheating/hacking or using racial slurs. Aside from that you have chances to change. But for those people they don't care and keep abusing the rules to the point of losing access to the account. So if they cannot be bothered to follow the rules countless times why should they have the option to get that account back or transfers content from one account to another?
: riot should keep more attention towards the players that have high rank accounts and ask he or she what are they planning on doing with a new account that they would be creating
And how exactly would they be able to do that? Let alone what if GASP people lie when they let them know what they plan on doing to the account. I get what you are trying to say, but there isnt the technology available for what you are asking. Let alone like i said people can lie about their intentions.
: Trying to convince my friend that Xayah and Graves Mid doesn't work
I mean who says they cant? Technically speaking when League first came out that is where ADC were meant to be played. I mean if your friend is good with those champions (or plays on playing them exclusively thus getting to understand them a lot more) there is no reason you cant help encourage them. Without people like your friend we wouldn't have a change in the meta and we would all be stuck playing the same boring roles/champions over and over again.
: Skin Rerolls
If I'm not mistaken trolling skins is suppose to give you a skin for a champion you own. If you own all the skins (that you can get from a reroll) then it will start to give you skins for all champions!
: Bans due to unsportsmanlike chat
You get ban for petty reasons because as you said this is a video game. Its suppose to be meant to have fun and enjoy. People don't want to play a game and kept being told they are bad when they know they are. They are there to learn and improve just as you are. But when you keep pestering people about little things they add up. Yes everyone is human, people can rage but you seem t ok think the only way to show emotions like a human is to do so in chat when there are loads of ways to do that that doesn't require using the chatbox! The reason why we have a chat at all is because Riot believe in communication. They believe that you should be able to understand what is right and wrong to say in chat just as if you were at work, or any other place. If there are no rules in place then people would just stop playing the game and argue in chat all the time. All in all you are there to play a game. If you wanna chat there are other means to talk to people. Play the game and enjoy.
: Do they only give you a notification if someone you reported gets banned?
If im not mistaken you only get the notification if your report was the reason why said person was punished. The reasoning behind not giving us notification for every person we report and gotten punished was that they didnt want to bother people. But that doesnt make sense since you could easily make a notification options and have people opt out/in.

Imagine this; you EXPECT theres gonna be inters, griefers, trolls and generally shitty players in a game with millions of people playing it with a wide range of ages. Now also imagine you think its just a game that is inconsequential in your life. Also, imagine anonymous strangers' opinions dont really mean anything to you, since theyre hiding behind a screen with no accountability, and you expect them to say nasty things, so you dont take it personally, or seriously for that matter. Now can you start to see how some people dont rage over it? You dont have to be friendly, btw. First of all I dont care about bad players, I duo with my friend whos in Bronze 2 and he feeds almost every game, i dont give a shit hes trying his best. Moreover, I dont rage, I literally just wonder why Im getting inted but cant call them out, I dont randomly flame. Anyway my main problem is how low the bar is set on what is 'flame'. If Riot is attracting millions of new players they should increase the bar. I.e, death threats are still a perma ban so is self harm and all that, but calling someone 'garbage' or 'bad' shouldnt attract a ban unless literally non stop spammed. Have you ever read 'your garbage dude' and started crying? Or did it ever hurt you emotionally?
You clearly care about bad players since your chatlogs is nothing but you complaining about said bad players. What you don't seem to understand is that chat should be use to communicate with your teammates. As in using it to help win the game. Calling people bad or garbage does what to help you win the game? It's just you venting and wasting time thinking than actually playing the game. That's basically what the other poster is saying. You need to stop caring about the other people. They are trying rustle you up and you raging in chat is letting them win that. Stop caring what people write and just play the game for you. The sad part is because this is a team game people will int, feed, troll, etc and there is little you can do to stop it. But when you stop caring for these types of people and just report and move on youl learn to enjoy the game a hell of a lot more!

Could you give us the chatlogs? Swearing itself isn't against the rules. So I find it hard to believe that you got ban solely on saying fuck four times.
: Is it just me, or do a lot of people in this sub-forum have super negative/unhelpful attitudes?
I think a lot of it comes down to people just not putting up with BS anymore. Far too many times that I've seen on this board in particular where people try to act like smartasses with clear indications of them breaking numerous rules. But try to play it off as if they are the victims. It's annoying and doesn't help anyone in this situation. But that doesn't excuse some mods or people on this forum that are basically toxic towards people who break the rules. It's pretty shitty to do and doesn't fall in line with the ToS!
: All new low
Sadly some people feel like any type of criticism means you are toxic. This is why I try to write everything out. What I've learn from playing any kind of online game is that people will almost always see it the wrong way. That's just how toxic this game has become. People can't see compliments because more often than not the people who do send them are doing it in a condescending way. All I'll say is you didn't do anything wrong. People can report you for whatever reason. But it doesn't mean a damn thing if you didn't actually break any rules. The report you got isn't going to do anything. The system would check your chat and see you did nothing wrong so like I said I wouldn't worry about it! Just keep playing and give off those positive vibes!
: Who exactly has EVER complained about Rammus?
Ýäśüó (EUNE)
: Players get a change to prove that they have ReFormed
But in order to get permanently ban you need to follow the tiers of punishment. How can you say someone wouldn't know the true punishment when they gotten it before numerous times. As others have stated as well they clearly tell you on your 14 day ban that the next one will be permanent. If that doesn't give you a wake up call along with all the punishment you gotten before I doubt anything will. With that said. Riot already tried this at least twice. And both times the community (or at least the people they picked) didn't show any signs of reform. So despite all that why would a sudden change be made to have all permaban accounts unban when the community hasn't shown any signs of improving?

To answer your first question, No! They only show you the last three recent games you been reported in. So while this might be mild. In general because of how toxic you were in your games (not just these three) you were punished!
: Streamer abuse?
As long as you send them a support ticket they will more than likely deal with it assuming he is doing it in the league client. If he is being toxic on his stream. Eg just yelling toxic crap not writing it in game then there is no grounds for riot to punish him.

Sorry, not a good reason, period. Not really a reason at all. Players should be punished if they perform poorly multiple(I would say 6 times) in row/if they are toxic/if they are trolling. Idk why are ppl against punishing bad players, have I ever performed very poorly? Sure. Should I get some little ban for it from ranked? Yes, yes and yes. If you have bad day, it's ok, go play normal/flex/whatever pointless gamemod you like. Ranked is for tryharding, you should try your best, perform to some standart, if you are off, you should either get in lower elo or take break(ban for few hours).
Probably because people gotta start somewhere. You are basically saying we should punish new players. Everyone has played poorly doesn't matter if it was one game or multiple games. The system wouldn't care and just punish based on the reports especially with how it is now. The other main thing that dota has is that for the most part its balanced. League has always been terrible with that and because of that when champs/item become op and abused you could report that these people were feeding/inting, and the system would see that as just and punish accordingly thus another innocent person is punished. There is just too much cons that outweigh the good with this at least from what I can see.

To an extent I agree. Some people love to play the victim or love to start shit but will get pissed when it actually starts to bother them like having that person trolling feeding. Yes, if you are a repeated offender, you may get the maximum time for that specific crime you committed, in this case OP broke the rules by being negative, and being negative should never result in a permanent ban For example, no one would get life in prison for stealing a car, just because they had a problems with the law in the past.
