Everyone has off games where they aren't performing their best or against bad match-ups. It's because of that, that it isn't a punishable offense. That said, silver is the biggest pile of hecarim crap since you get new to ranked people paired up with players with 1000-2000 games. I can assure you that new to rank players are closer to bronze 2-3 than they are to silver.

: the sated devourer farm meta only existed in the first place because RIOT brought back the item that people didn't want in the first place because it had been tried AND FAILED two times previously. To add to that, it was widely complained that the farming item, although TOO EFFICIENT in lower divisions, was TOO IN-EFFICIENT in higher divisions
