: Do you have that one Skin you want most but you can't get because it's unavailable?
I've been a Shaco main for ~6 months and throughout that time I'd been really wanting to get Workshop Shaco and Nutcracko. After several loot openings I got Workshop Shaco, and Nutcracko just came into my shop!

: Shaco Rework Concept #2
What are you trying to accomplish with this rework? Your suggested "E" ability will make Shaco fizz-like: a dash on Q and an E for untargetable status/damage. I think his current E is fine in concept (although the scaling and/or base damage desperately needs some buffing). Additionally, your suggested passive is broken: controlling the map by knowing what is warded (based on losing/gaining Insanity) and building up to hard CC from just existing is something I'd prefer to be given to Fiddlesticks.

Oh, so you're saying: to all the people who defend this system, I automatically assume you believe it's harder to get a B in a victory than an S in a defeat. I understand. Sorry for the misunderstanding xd

Winning the game isn't just "playing good", it's a combination of team efforts.

: In the first half of taking dragon/baron, look above your spells and you will see an icon for smite with a number on it. That number varies between 390 and 1000 based on level. You need to know what it is, and right after the objective's HP falls to that level, use smite as soon as possible.

Anyone squishy enough to get burst by my Shaco, especially when the top laner/jungler picks a squishy champ instead of a beefy bruiser. I love seeing Quinns, Sylas(es?), and Jayce,

Just going to mention that Pyke's ult tips teamfights directly into his favor-- as an AoE EXECUTION... also hopefully this thread gest more attention.

: Okay here we go. Hecarim is an early game champion in the same vein as Lee Sin or Pantheon. He's strong as he's building up to Trinity Force, is a monster until about the 20 minute mark, then falls way the fuck off as his itemization and scaling doesn't scale well into the mid to late game. He seems powerful at every stage of the game because he's probably got a good lead, so you gotta shut him down there. Hecarim's favorite route is the Predator/Krugs route, characterized by starting Red, clearing both Raptors and Krugs (the order of which naming the route, and who he wants to gank) before either going straight into a gank or recalling to pick up Blue Buff. For this reason, it's imperative to place down a ward on his Raptors to see what his game plan is. At the same time, ask one of your teammates to get a ward on his Blue, or keep a close eye as to who on the enemy team leashes for Hecarim. Anyway assuming he starts Red, you can use the Raptor ward to tell who he's gonna gank first. If he shows up on Raptors right away, the Side Lane is in danger. If there's a long delay before he shows up on Raptors, Mid is in the most danger. Warn your teammates based on who you think he's gonna gank. If for whatever reason Hecarim starts at Blue, he'll be doing a standard Blue/Wolves/Raptors/Red clear, giving your teammates more time and still making it really obvious what side of the map Hecarim will be on once he hits his Lv3. Going by your name, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you're a Shaco player. As a Level 2 Jungler who can jump the Dragon/Baron pit, you can easily steal his Blue since Hecarim takes forever to get to it anyway. If you see an opportunity to cheese a gank, beware that Hecarim may just go ahead and steal your Blue now that you've revealed yourself, so plan around that (and steal his Blue as well anyway). At this point, the two of you are going to initiate vertical Jungling. For the first 5 minutes of the game, you have complete control of one side of the map while Hecarim has the other. I am going to be frank here, I think Hecarim has the edge over Shaco in a purely symmetrical vertical Jungling scenario, as I see his ganks as far more reliable than yours. Either way, use vertical Jungling to its greatest strengths and abuse free ganks on the side lane if they appear to be profitable while keeping a close eye on Mid and if Hecarim shows up. If you want to step on Hecarim's toes, it's going to be there. Jungle Monsters respawn just before the 5 minute mark. Because of Hecarim's first clear, it tends to make his angles of attack come from his Red Buff part of the Jungle, where his Raptors and Krugs respawned. This makes it a little easier to predict what Hecarim wants to do, or at the very least where you should ward to keep an eye on him. The next set should show up around the 7:30 mark, though as the game progresses this rule of thumb gets blurrier and blurrier so keep it in mind but don't overly rely on it. Shaco is a particularly bad matchup into Hecarim since Hecarim does the early game snowball thing far more reliably and he will build tanky as the game progresses, leaving one less easy target for Shaco. However, once you understand Hecarim's angles of attack and how his early route leaves his Blue Buff side of the Jungle free to just take, you can start to brick his early game. After that, it's only a matter of time and hoping you don't have that one laner that wants to feed the pony.
Thank you! I will definitely NOT be picking Shaco into hecarim anymore.
: no ou can beat him, but you have to play hard engage......you cant play the squishy champs like sona or soraka, you need Leona, naut, thresh and attack the adc but I agree, he is still bs...his ult infuriates me.....so much
"hard engage" - could you clarify the meaning of this? I'm assuming you mean an engage with hard crowd control... but I'm also assuming you understand Pyke's E ability. Bot lane skirmishes and teamfights are heavily reliant on supports, especially when the support can execute enemies <40% HP.
Rioter Comments
: Or you know. Don't poke the Pyke. Focus his ADC instead for any harassment since they can't heal off poke.
Except you have to remember: can't go below 40% hp! Pyke's utility allows him to win 2v2's in bot lane easily, especially early. He has a HUGE level 6 powerspike.
Xphineas (NA)
: I think you are completely wrong, each and every one of pykes abilities are very flashy and basically tell you "Hey im going to pull you" or "Hey im invisible", not to mention pyke cannot build any form of HP so if you all in him, hes more or less dead. He has pretty high cooldowns, his abilities are pretty slow and easy to avoid. Someone like fiora, morgana, Lux, ahri, they hard counter him. He cant farm well (in solo lanes) because he got hard nerfed.. if anything I think hes weak rn
How can you all-in a champion that has a dash AND an AoE stun to stop people from trying to follow him?

: Top 10 Champions that Riot hasn't made a new skin for in years.
First of all, Mordekaiser isn't likely to get a skin because of his skin re-designs. IMO Vel'Koz deserves a skin because of the amount of REALLY good ideas people have come up with.
: There are people that downvoting the under representation of an oppressed minority, interesting community. But I do hope for a good discussion amongst reply-ers that can encourage positive changes. Even though we are all mostly good people, the world is not a perfect place, and people can paint a picture created by League however they choose. And believe it or not, there are bad people who will use LoL's appalling lack of diversity as evidence for viewing certain types of people negatively (racism is a learned behavior). How do you think we got to where we are now as a country? The people at the top need to take responsibility for making things better or worse. And with basically no racial diversity nor educational lore things are made worse.

Her dodging the Xayah ult is luck IMO.
: When you are 13 minutes into a ranked game and this happens..
If your Shaco takes flash, he's most likely going to lose because he has no idea how to play Shaco. There was a suggestion for the early surrender to be lowered to a 4:1 ratio as opposed to a unanimous decision. It seems like these days the people who vote no to the early surrender are the ones that are tilted. Finally, I'm with you on this one. Games are usually one-sided for me as well. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-unamused}}
: Please remove Rylai's Crystal Scepter as a reccomended item for Vel'Koz.
A lot of champions have item list recommendations that aren't up to date, like Shaco and Talon.

: You guys ever have that one champion that you're really good with
talon, even tho he is really fun to play and really good
: Look man, just because your main is half of a champion doesn't mean you have to take it out on Rengar and Riven.
So you're saying that I have no right to express my thoughts because_my main is... half a champion???_ Makes no sense.
: Riven badly designed? Can't say I could agree less with that stament. We got a design which is both innovative and unique, the design has been attempted to be emulated by many games in the genre and used as a template for many future champions by Riot themselves. Riven is one of the very keystone champions which made League unique and not just a Dota clone. She is one of the very original champions to be OTP'ed by many in this game: speaking volumes to her being fun and involved to play. She wasn't designed at a time that Riot was considering Counterplay, back then Annie didn't have a stun meter for the enemy to see, Sion and Taric has point and click stuns. The design was about every champion having their own strengths. Even when Riot did start to think about counterplay: they made champions whose abilities were easier to read and dodge: which Riven already had anyway. Counterplay is not an issue with design especially Riven. They haven't even had to change her much for 8 years aside some numbers shifts, and more recently making the abilities easier to see addressing any remaining issues with modern standards of clarity. Design and balance shouldn't be confused.
Annie's stun: stay back when she has her stun ready. Ryze's root: stay back when he can E+W you. Twisted Fate Stun: If he has a gold card, stay back. Sion: avoid his Q Riven: stay back...? wait no she can use her Q 3 times and her E to catch up to you faster than you can run away. Then her circular AoE stun (which is undodgeable) hits you. How do you avoid Riven's CC?
: You forgot {{champion:266}} the Riven clone.
At least Aatrox has a high skill cap and several apparent counters.

: My ideas for a mini Trynd rework
I like the idea of increased damage as opposed to crit CHANCE because it gives a more consitent, playable early game. It won't be as annoying for both Tryndamere and his lane opponent.
: Are you saying that vision has no effect on Rengar? Because having good vision and ward placements is one of Rengars biggest counters. He lives on catching you by surprise, if he can’t do that he essentially becomes an Assassin that when his ult is down is completely worthless.
Vision can provide an idea of where Rengar is but doesn't exactly stop him from leaping on you in a matter of seconds. Plus, his team and him (via sweeper lenses) can clear out an area (such as a the baron/river/surrounding jungle) of wards before initiating a teamfight. There are ways for Rengar's team to make sure that he is completely undetected and unstoppable.
