: The only thing you can do to make riot understand this is to quit playing the game, when they see all the solo Q players vanishing they will panic then care enough to fix it. This is what I'm doing, wont touch the game till solo queue is back.
That's what I realized and that's what I did. And I took everyone I play with regularly with me. I was the only one who cared, but not the only account to stop logging in because riot killed Solo queue. I really wish all the soloq players would put their money where their mouths are and hit riot where it hurts. I keep an eye on the boards looking for news on Solo queue, but I don't really log in to play anymore, haven't bought any RP, don't recommend checking the game out to potential new players, and I've been encouraging all my friends to play other games with me. I'd like to think we could all make whatever bean counter is calling the shots at riot notice, but maybe we're just a drop in the bucket like Riot says.
: BRING BACK ONLY Dynamic QUEUE PLEASE. LIKE IT WAS !
Why? Why do you have to take away soloq? What's the reason behind it? Some of us want a real competitive arena to test our metal. Why do we have to lose that so you can be happy? I don't even understand what you GAIN from there being no soloq?

: The 2016 Ranked Season: Updates on Dynamic Ranked and your feedback
Does this mean separate ladders and MMR's for the two separate queues as well?
: I wasn't being snarky, I was being serious. Riot genuinely doesn't care if players leave because they don't make much money per average player because of their business model. Some players pay literally thousands of dollars and some pay none. The people who pay insane amounts aren't going to leave. And in reality, many people who hate the change will still stick around. Many players are just that dedicated.
Ah, sorry I took it that way. You could be right, I understand this is all just business for them. I just wonder what percentages of each kind of player spend the money on the game, and if the ones that spend the most are going to leave with the dedicated players.
: Riot doesn't care if you leave
Did you read what I wrote at all? Sure, they probably don't care if everyone who hates this change leaves, even though those are their most dedicated players. Know what they will care about? All those dedicated players packing up their bags, finding a new game and taking all their friends with them. Imagine if everyone complaining about this on the boards/reddit takes at least 1 other person with them when they leave. Riot has said that 25% are strongly opposed to it. That means if 25% quit playing leagues, and take 1 other person with them on average, that's half riots player base. It may not be that bad, but there's a snowball effect. The more people who leave, the less reason there is for those casual players to get on league. They'll get on whatever those hardcore fans are logging into next.

: Let’s talk about dynamic queues and ranked play
How do I get one of these magical surveys that you supposedly are getting all this data from? How can I communicate to riot that if this change goes live, I'm moving to a different game and riot is going to lose a lot of accounts over this. I never got a survey about dynamic queue, and I don't feel like riot values my business anymore. If the solution on the 19th isn't "oops, looks like taking away soloq was a mistake" then I'm done with leagues. Riot will lose out on any RP I would spend on my account or my smurfs, my GF and any friends that I convince to come play a different game with me. In my group I'm probably the most competitive and the highest ranked player. This change doesn't let me play with my friends more, it forces me to add people I don't know and don't want to put in the effort of maintaining a relationship with for the purpose of playing ranked. I play normals with friends because I have fun playing with them... in normals. This change isn't going to convince me to play ranked with them. If this goes live Lyte, I won't be incentivize to play the game anymore, and I'm going to go find something else to do, and encourage all my friends to come with me. Should I get on my smurfs and post as well so you know how many accounts are gonna go dark on this? Should I have my gf and any friends who agree post so that you understand exactly how many players you're alienating? I don't think you've done your homework.
: Log in success but failure to connect to chat
Also in Denver, with Comcast and same issue. I think I found the DNS for the chat server (chat.na2.lol.riotgames.com) and I've found that any computer in Colorado that's on Comcast can not ping the server, but if I remote into a machine in California it pings back no problem. Machines on a century link and integra connection seem to have no problems pinging the server. Just Comcast. When I do a tracert it gets stuck at hu-0-10-0-5-pe02.910fifteenth.co.ibone.comcast.net [68.86.83.10] as the last hop. I think this is pretty definitively on comcasts network at this point, but I don't know how to get a hold of someone there who can actually fix this for us.
: HoN is dead bro. And so will be Ranked if these changes go live.
It won't be just ranked if this happens. If this happens, and all the people who enjoy Soloq leave and go find another game, what's going to happen to everyone else? I'll tell you. If I leave because soloq stops existing, not only is riot going to lose me to another game, they're going to lose everyone who comes with me. My girlfriend, my brothers, my closest friends. All people who spend money on league. Know what's going to happen if we all quit because soloq doesn't mean anything anymore? Anytime our more casual friends who get on to play normals with us log on, they're going to see nobody's on. Where'd everyone go? Oh they all moved to this other game? Guess I'll download this and play that with them. It's happened before and it will happen again. I watched it happen with wow, and I don't want to see it happen to leagues. Riot needs to understand that the anchors of their community and game are not always the majority of the player base. They're just the most dedicated. If you disenfranchise them, which I guarantee this change will do, you lose those pillars that keep all the casuals around, and they move to another game that gives them what they're looking for and they take their friends with them. The thing about people who play the game for the social aspect, is they will play any game for the social aspect. Which means they'll leave any game for the social aspect. Catering to them isn't bad, but giving the middle finger to the core players will always end badly.
