: What you are suggesting is "Prisoner's Island" and Riot does not want to implement that. https://nexus.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/2017/01/ask-riot-banished-to-prisoners-island/
Yes i did say something about matching toxic players with each other.. I give you that point however the main thing I was suggesting was to also give a personality quiz and match people based on personality for a better gaming experience so there is more teamwork and less toxic behavior to start with. I also said to track player behavior so while they may be on " prisoners island " for a few matches if their behavior improves they wouldn't stay there. The point is to reform them, if they won't reform why should they continue to ruin the game experience for all the players willing to be positive players. Most players with bad behavior don't reform in the current system they instead get banned and simply make a new account and repeat their bad behavior. Maybe " prisoners island " and the extreme suck of being there might actually reform their behavior. Player behavior would be determined over several games not just a few so people who are toxic over 10+ games should just be allowed to continue being toxic and making the community and gaming experience worse for everyone?
: One thing to keep in mind is that certain words in chat are detected by the IFS and will result in an INSTANT 14 day ban. Homophobic, racist, or incredibly toxic phrases, like “kill yourself” or its abbreviation “kys” are examples of these trigger phrases. You may want to post the logs here. While I’m not saying you shouldn’t post a ticket, we might be able to help you determine what MAY have caused the insta-ban.
Yeah totally stupid for IFS to ban people on abbreviations.. kys could mean many things thats absolutely dumb. .. kys could mean know yourself, it could mean ken's youth service, could be a nickname for a girl named kystal .. thers tons of things it could mean doesnt have to mean kill yourself .. rubbish!!! I know context helps determine what the abbreviation is probably meaning however IFS doesn't look at context.

: I'm going to unban this as a false positive, since you have no other negative history. But ... don't tell people to kys.
How did a game for fun turn into such a PC liberal don't talk dont communicate type of game because SOMEONE'S feelings might be hurt because you know if they get feelings hurt playing a non real video game their whole life is going to be an uphill battle and they won't make it in life. I'm not saying people should intentionally verbally abuse people but making an automated system to autoban people for using certain phrases or words and not actually looking at the context they are used is complete bull shiit. I totally agree that if someone is harassing or bullying someone or similar that they should be punished but that is something that should be determined by a fair minded person who can make that determination not some automated system. That's what the report player feature is for correct? to actually report people who are doing things they shouldn't be doing. I would really like to thank Lizardry for showing us how lame Riot is becoming, each new season brings more toxic player behavior, more bullcrap systems that autoban, flag, and overall make the game not fun to play. I am at the point where I am not having fun playing league of legends any longer and not sure how much longer I will be playing the game.. the game itself is fun however the community of league and all the automated RIOT systems are becoming out of control, I would rather have a game with 4 flamer teammates who are actually playing the game then BS automated systems that mark you afk even when your not afk. Riot is getting too big for its britches they got so many players that they can't take care of issues personally but have to make bots to control their systems and games which isn't working, the game was far better when there wasn't all these automated systems.
: 10 TIMES. 10 ****** TIMES. PLZ RIOT DO SOMETHING
Maybe try changing regions.. if your in america your pretty screwed as most americans are idiots, trolls, poor attitudes and similar.. this sadly is the reality of 2017 in america.. didn't use to be this way but it is now.. thanks internet for making it so people can be as fake and ahole as they want as there is no way to hold them responsible for their actions. I would love to see all the pro players make new accounts and level from 1 to 30 and start in bronze and see how hard it is for them to actually make it back to PRO level again, and they have to do it individually with randomly selected teammates like we have it.. not their buddy buddy groups and friends or other pro level players. I think they would find it far more difficult than they thought and if RIOT actually follows their games might get some insight into how it actually is for most players. Pretty sure PRO players get handed level 30 accounts and automatically PLACED into higher ranked brackets, they def play a different game than the rest of the players do.

Just curious how they find smurfs and match them with respective other smurfs There isn't exact data, but they monitor way more than your kills, deaths, and assists. They see how you play and if it's unlike a new player's playstyle then the matchmaker matches you against smurfs.
So.. I am new player never played before.. but I do happen to watch league of legends VoD of pro players and since I am a visual learner and it looks so fun I decide to try league out for first time. I copy what the pro players do.. while not as good as them I may do well starting out. So now I am considered a smurf because I play similar to pro but really am just a first time player? and will now get matched to other high skill players while not being one myself??? What you said makes no sense.. if riot is doing that.. I probably would not play long.

: afk timer way worse than having in game trolls! Its a game afk happens and those people are punished more than feeder/trolls
AMEN!! They should fix match making by giving people a personality quiz and match like minded personalities and would cut out a lot of feeding/trolls in general as you would not have 5 different people wanting to do 5 different strategy. I can win a good amount of time 4v5 if they other 3 teammates are on the same page as me.. stuff happens and honestly half of the AFK are really probably some kind of d/c, internet issue, lag something of that kind.
: Have you tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling? I had that happen before to me too and it fixed it for me.
Why should I have to completely uninstall and reinstall game to fix an issue that should not be there to start with? I have never been afk but upon login today got low priority que as if I had been AFK for several matches which I have not.. you can check my match history. Yet another bug... wheeee go Riot.
: Update: My account has been unbanned. However, they are refusing to do anything about chat restriction on my account and I've been told that lifting the ban on my account is a one time thing, despite it having been hacked. For starters, I would like to thank Riot for finally responding properly to my request and taking care of the larger issue, after thirteen hours. I can live with the chat restriction, since I don't play this game often anyways, but the second matter seems rather unreasonable. Now, if I received the ban myself, then I couldn't really have complaints, but if in the event that my account is hacked again, I'll just lose my account for good?
Easy way Do like everyone else does.. just make a few smurf accounts, don't spend any more money on the game as it would literally be money down the drain. With high amount of toxic players, bad personality mix and in general how riot handles things you would be best off doing this : ) I supported this game first few seasons but after seeing how Riot handles the massive increase in Toxic behavior I realized that any money spent on this game is a waste.

: how do i get out off low queue
What if you were never actually AFK and it still gives you low queue? Check my match history.. never afk but still get this low queue

: EDIT: grammar Okay, so we got together with game designers, player behavior folks, and player support agents to take a hard look at this player, the penalties, and the support tickets associated with it. It's clear this wacky Smite, Support Singed plays to win. It’s also clear the player struggles to effectively communicate intentions and strategy to teammates. In this case, unwieldy communication and the wacky Smite, Support Singed pick are tightly linked. So let’s pick them apart some. Innovative and unconventional approaches to League keep the game fresh, and finding new ways to win motivates a ton of players. We 100% support the opportunity to innovate with surprising picks and strategies in League. The only real condition we place on that right to experimentation is that you play to win. However, sometimes unconventional approaches to the game have costs that outweigh benefits. This player might have a respectable(-ish) winrate on Support Singed with Smite and no Sightstone, but the pick and build also nets them a frankly enormous number of reports and probably gives their ADC high blood pressure. That leaves us with two tricky questions: Q: If intentions are clearly aimed at victory, is there an outer boundary for too unconventional a pick/build/strategy? A: No. This is where we break from the Support ticket linked in the original reddit discussion. Real talk, this player is far from the only support in Gold V to skip out on a Sightstone. No one should ever get banned for skipping Sightstone. On the other hand, asking an ADC to lane alone while their support farms the enemy jungle truly pushes that teammate out of their comfort zone and that should mean something. We can all sympathize with the lonely Miss Fortune facing down Lucian and Alistar at her own turret, and it makes sense to us when they report this Singed player. Q: Do unconventional picks/strategies increase the burden of communications for the player and their teammates? Y: Yes. If you're gonna throw a curveball at teammates, you also need to communicate your intentions to teammates. You shouldn’t just expect everyone to "get it", so tell them what's up. To be clear, this player does attempt to communicate intent and strategy, but a good chunk of teammates across hundreds of games just don’t want to sign up for the plan. That lack of agreement on the new plan makes for a pretty chaotic game and leads to a huge share of this player’s reports. If a teammate in champ select says, “pls no, this is game 5 of promos”, maybe stick with something conventional and skip tilting your teammates off the face of the earth. In short, argue for your idea, but stay ready to be flexible. In the same vein, teammates should be willing give unconventional picks/strategies a fair shot. They could surprise your opponents more than they surprise you. We need to leave plenty of space for experimentation in League (Hi Support MF), even if it sometimes leaves us in less than perfectly comfy games. If you're about to play stunbot Twisted Fate tank support with Talisman, Righteous Glory, and Protobelt, let your team know the special kind of hell you're aiming to create for your enemies, and how they should adjust their expectations and approach to the game. If, instead of that, you wholly fail to communicate, or completely disrupt game after game, it makes sense that you’d rack up a ton of reports, net manual reviews and even potential penalties from Player Support. The net result is that players, if playing to win, have a fundamental right to experiment in League. It’s good for the game. At the same time, common sense and good sportsmanship say that experimenting players need to clearly communicate intent and win conditions to their teammates. In this Singed player’s case, the two-week ban’s already expired. For what it’s worth, we believe the penalty was warranted because in literally hundreds of games the player inflicted a huge amount of disruption on players who didn’t agree to their chemistry experiments. On the other hand, the player’s communication issues fall well short of permaban territory, and in retrospect the threat of a perma in the Player Support response was a bit much. We also see marked improvement in their efforts communicate with teammates in more recent games. It’s worth mentioning that cases like these are handled by humans and any player in a (pretty dang rare) situation like this can request further detail and a full review from Player Support. Still, with intent to win confirmed, gameplay experimentation and innovation is something we stand behind even if it ruffles feathers. After all, conventional picks lose half their games too. We think this player could still do a much better job of communicating with teammates, but we also believe players should be more tolerant of different approaches to the game. The line here is the player repeatedly showing no flexibility in the face of resistance to their strategies, and consistently forcing teammates into a wildly different bot lane experience hundreds of times.
WookieeCookie (NA) - 3 months ago At one point they asked you to leave blue for mid, but you took it anyways; an important part of your strategy perhaps, but failing to acknowledge how the rest of your team is playing. 2) Who does Blue belong to in a match? What rules are around to whom the blue or red buff belongs? Who gets to decide to whom the buff belongs? Does it belong to the jungler by default since it is in the jungle? Blue is important to a lot of people in the game's strategy. Why does a Support taking it seem to be more disruptive? This x 1 million and more... reason why you have so many toxic players in league.. you say one thing.. then say something that directly contradics what you just said. IF you have 5 people with 5 different personalities how do you decide who is right? They all have a different opinion and will feel wronged if they do not get their way.
: Well, it's a girl, and it IS frustrating she hasn't escalated this ticket (even still) despite multiple requests, even though Riot Gromp said that cases like this could request a full review. But the overwhelming majority of her cases probably don't require the level of analysis something like this would. I get that. She's probably looking at frequency of reports and lacks the game knowledge to understand their context. That's fine. I'm not mad. I just want Riot to fix their mistake.
Hey serious question, why not just remake league it is nowhere near the same game it was when released anyways I mean you have 2 different games now as it is. 1 game is the game pro players play with teammates who communicate, have sponsers and all that good stuff. 2 game that the average player plays, with toxic players almost every match, poor communication, lag, bugs, contradictions more than I can count on 2 hands.. the list goes on.

They chose order and simplicity over chaos, creativity and freedom. Neither choice is perfect, both have pros and cons and both cause collateral damage and ruin players gaming experience, but this is Riot stance on the matter, there is a meta to follow. You are getting reported because you are playing off meta and people dislike your pick and the way you play the game. Players rule Riot ToS, they are the ones to make the rules. No matter the reason, if you get reported enough times, you will get suspended as you have a negative impact on the community. You have to adapt and bend over or die. That sucks, I'm sorry, but that's how it is. So should every bard player be banned for playing bard how he was intended to play?
Yes every player that is not doing exactly as the bots play in A I bot games should be banned... but wait.. even their bots roam the map and stuff.. dang I guess you have to ban the Bots also?
