Then your suggestion is not good and your title is misleading as you promote that everyone should use only one summoner spell.

He was a bit on the toxic side in his last game, and there's no denying it. I was wondering if it is ever possible for a player to be unbanned/given a second chance. I know that he is normally not very toxic at all. He is a very kind and bubbly individual. > > He has just been having a hard time in life as of now (not going into too much detail), and when his support didn't play particularly well he struggled to cope and flamed him. He has received a temporary ban in the past for the same reasons. Making the same mistake twice, I firmly believe that he can and will reform and become more resilient to negative behaviour. I don't think he would ever be toxic again after receiving two bans and understanding the effect that his words have on others. > > Things he has said and done really aren't as toxic some of what I have come across with people screaming their lungs off at the slightest provocation (e.g. too many pings, first blood being lost etc. etc.) > > When he is toxic he really doesn't mean it, he does not wish for people to actually die. (Kys is actually a joke between us about kissing yourself). He does not actually want to open mid. Sometimes the language he uses is also a bit extreme. This is due to him not being a native English speaker! He is Danish and reasonably good at English, but subtleties such as the extremity of language that can only be picked up over time are hard for him to understand. This is made worse by the fact that nowadays streamers use lots of vulgar language such as %%%got and lots of swear words. > > I know that it would mean the world to him for him to be unbanned. He truly loves this game, from the lore, to the art, to the champions (yes even the ugly ones) and the wonderful music. Would it be completely out of the question? I do not think it is fair that players like Jensen are able to be unbanned yet casual players are simply ignored and swept like dust under the carpet. I do not think it is fair that players like Tyler1 are even being considered repeatedly for an unban whereas casual players who are not as well known have to speak to deaf ears. > > Edit: Jesus, will I honestly get down voted for asking a question? I love this community. This question was mainly directed at Riot, because there have been cases where permabanned accounts were unbanned, not just Jensen being unbanned from competitive, but occasional casual players' actual accounts being unbanned from permas. I was wondering if it was still possible. I know it definitely does not happen often. But I have yet to see an extremely recent case. > > Lots of these replies are irrelevant do you guys even read posts ughh this is irritating. > > I know that he has been banned for being toxic :/ but because I talk to him often, I really believe he can reform which is why I even bothered to ask this, he is not a horrible person and does not rage often like many of you are assuming. God some people are so insensitive. You lost me when you said that when he say kys that’s a joke about kissing yourself and saying his behaviour sound extreme because he don’t speak native English. First what kind of 12 year old would believe in such naive crafted bs about the kys? Second you are playing on an English speaking server. Does not matter what goes through your head it’s your responsibility to understand our language and to talk accordingly. It’s clear by the things u said that not only he and you are toxic as fk but also that you think people are retarded enough to not deserve a proper apology and instead should receive this 12 year old crap. Enjoy your perma. :)

: We talked about this a bit, and there's another post coming on Friday, but during preseason we're going to be splitting stats out from rune paths, and allowing you to select which ones you want. It won't be quite as extensible as it was in the past (like 25 different selections for each type of rune), but the system will support selecting offense AND defense, in likely varying amounts. This will get us back to a world where people that want to spec heavy into offense can do so, those who want to spec heavy into defense can do so, or those that want a mix can also achieve that. I'd be super super cautious of us looking at overall lethality beyond what we did on 8.16 given the risk of setting ourselves up for a really slow/boring meta moving into World's, and think that preseason will move us a fair way into what you and many others are looking for. We're fleshing out a post to go out on Friday that will get into a bit more of the details, but wanted to touch on it here in the meantime.

: As mentioned we'll be talking about other aspects of damage later this week. Will have to disagree with you on which champs being played not being relevant to how high damage the game is and feels though. For example, if you're in a game where both team comps look like this: * Fighter * Assassin * Burst Mage * ADC * Poke Mage Then you'll have a pretty different experience than if they're something like this: * Fighter * Tank * Burst Mage * ADC * Enchanter That's not to say there aren't issues with other aspects of damage output. At the same time, other issues also needing to be addressed doesn't invalidate that team comps have a significant impact on how high lethality is.

At the same time, other issues also needing to be addressed doesn't invalidate that team comps have a significant impact on how high lethality is. Hey Meddler! I always support riot games decisions and have being a player for more or less 7 years now (I admire your work and would appretiate a reply from u!) and I might have a cool insight (that really i think can add up something) for you on why this season, at least to some players, felt super bad (from a different perspective). (OBS: This is not a complain, please read it. Might be a new perspective!) Feeling in that season: The game changed in a way that I feel that my skills are not counting as much as before. I feel like I lost control of things I had before. Is it the damage? I feel bad. Interesting Reasoning after months that pin point the source of the problem (for me at least): To explain the reasoning, Imagine a fight a few seasons ago while in bot lane a trade could take 5+ seconds to end and let`s start from there. In those 5 seconds, If i`m playing against a less skilled player (and let`s assume he would make something we can call 1 mistake per second), it`s fair to assume I would have 5 chances (in a 5 seconds trade) to get small advantages over him. That could happen through the way I step vs the way he steps, how fast I identify i`m going to win a trade vs how he identifies it, how we flow the fight toward the bush etc. The more the fight goes, more mistakes (even if he don`t realize it) he do and more I have windows to, one step at a time and one decision at a time, micro punish him across a large fight. I realized this season that I like that. I realized that I Invested years sharpening this particular skill of figuring out a fight as I fight and doing micro corrections and actions. With now fights being clearly decided after 1 single skill landing or after 1 second (2 seconds tops), what now I understand is that people that are bad have less chances to make mistakes. I have less chances to shine within a fight and everything feel just different. Suddenly, instead of having 10 different things I can punish someone spread across a fight, an insane amount of weight got removed from 9 other things and pilled up in the shoulders of "engage at the right time.". It started to make so much more sense to just focus on "knowing when to engage and when not to engage" that it just felt league turned in another game to me. I understand that a faster game is more appealling to the viewers, but in my experience in web design, when 2 interests conflict (how the game feel for who play vs what feel for who watch) sometimes a larger rework should take place. Maybe for season 10 we should aim to rebuild league and get out of the summoner rift shape we are used to from ages ago, adding more rewarding events and making the very first decisions shape the map and the rules of the game. I know that since dota 1 that pattern we use was cool but maybe that`s something we should talk about (different from a sport like soccer we can do stuff like that). I also understand that larger windows (what make interesting fights in lower elos) also rewards people for playing super safe, as make harder for people to die so it`s punishing to gank if the other jungle is farming around. Today, let`s say that a bot lane fight takes 1 second before everyone already know who is going to lose, I don`t feel many chances to display what I invested 7 years to accquire. Feels just bad. Like a portion I super invested just vanished. It`s not totally because of damage, I think also that is about how much skill is taking place before something happens. I got to lane brand landed me a W and, in high elo perspective, I`m almost dead and super fucked. Man that was 1 skill and It`s so clear how much trouble I am. I get hit by an insane damage + the proc from sup item + scorch + aery and that`s it. He had to do 1 decision and he already won. Leona jump me I`m dead. X combo me i`m dead. Vayne got the first auto in that trade, in 2 seconds i`m dead. I`m not dead because the damage is too high (I know that this is what feels like most of the time) but I`m dead also because there is no way that in 2 seconds this player will do enough mistakes in his game pattern for me to do something about it and punish for his lack of knowledge. Before if I was good enought maybe I could fog fight (entering and leaving the bush multiply times) and maybe, just maybe, he would not have enough knowledge to ward that bush right away and maybe he would not kite me perfectly. Now i`m just dead. This was the first season I felt like that and I hope this is useful one way or the other. I would like to know your thoughts about my experience! I took a huge time away from league this season but I still love the game and I hope we can find solutions that will make the game appealing to me and other players that quit again!

Thats what my logic is, I hope your brain can unferstand that. After it does go to bed. You got no good base. Bye You are definitely wrong on your replies in this post bro. It’s ok to lose game and lose lp. It’s not ok to flame because you don’t want that. Stop flaming people and focus on yourself.
: I Hate The Disrespect For Low Elo Players
That’s all due to Implied reasoning process when Enough reasoning is not presented. When judging an opinion as incomplete as “kalista is too strong “, what can be concluded? We can’t conclude shit. This Statement do absolute no effort on trying to say how the person got to the the conclusion that this champion is too strong. What the hell made it reach that point? Is that really enough? The person will have the time to write 200 pages of data about what he think? What if the guy just died and is frustrated? If you think I, or anyone, should see some open statement like that without any reasoning behind it (or one full of flaws) and weight that statement without reasoning as the same for everyone else, you are really not thinking too straight on this. The implied reasoning of a challenger player for example, is that he played thousand and thousand of matches and because of that he became very sensitive to the state of the game and overcame many barriers to achieve that position. A challenger player may be wrong on stuff and that happens more often than you think, but super way less often than when a low elo say something like that. The implied reasoning is that a low elo have high chances of just being on his way to commit still a sequence of mistakes and errors until he know better and that a challenge player generically would have more ground to talk about it. Of course, when a low elo present well structured perfect reasoning we don’t have any use for implied reasoning because no reasoning need to be implied. Hence why riot games have low elo players.

{{champion:16}} W change: When soraka heal an ally that is being affect by grievous wounds (what reduces heals by 40%), her life cost for healing is also reduced by 40% (from 10% to 6% of her max health). Passive addition: Soraka can buy bananas instead of regular potions. Bananas recover health and also permanently increase your stamina by 10 each time you eat one. Because nothing in this game uses stamina it’s just a regular potion.

What the hell I just read? There is no connection between the tittle, first lines and the ending of your post. I can just assume that a girl said to you that wanted to come over to study and then wanted to play games? Like, a lot of people do that and have no particular meaning by itself lol

: A couple points to make. First, psychology. If someone is in such a dark and toxic state that comes out in their frustrations and interactions, they are not only blind to what is bad to others, but also themselves. Something as simple as a chat restriction won't derail the course or lend to change. A short ban won't do either, as a week can be pretty brief. These small measures may work for minor offenders, but not the people who can't see the forest for the trees. After a longer lockout, regret and actual work to reform can be real as what was taken away can be perceived in a different way and truly desired. This can be reflected in both Tyler1 and Jensen eventually changing and what was denied is eventually restored. In their cases, it's not an account, but the rare opportunity each has. For an average gamer, after that investment is gone for a while, they can see more value in that and have a real desire to earn it back. That is part of the idea of the linked account, you don't just get your old one back, you have to prove your honor to regain it. Riot conveniently has a system to measure that. Second, respectfully, any stats claimed by Riot can't be trusted. They don't share method or metrics of how they measure toxic behavior and frequency, percent of change or players quitting after bans. Nobody wants to admit ugly truths like how common some toxic behavior is, or how easy it is for people to cycle back in a new account with the same bad behavior. They want to talk about the most positives possible as any company wanting as much profit as possible will. Am I really so rare that after I was banned I continued to play on a second account and still do? How can they be sure that player never went back? How can reasons why players stop even be measured by Riot if someone walks away from the game? Finally, something not yet discussed, Riot should never want to write off players forever. Players equal profit. Even assuming only 1% have been banned, that's what...6.7 million consumers at least? So even if only 5% of them reform, that's 335,000 players who would be more likely to support a company that gave them a chance than if they were written off forever. Even if each of them only one more time bought one more new skin, given that most skins cost about $10 worth of RP now, Riot just made over $3million giving them one more chance. If that's not worth it, it may suggest Riots stats actually show most banned players keep playing and spending money in new accounts.

A super ridiculously toxic player [what is necessary to trigger a perma ban] is a walking loss for the company and represent absolutely no profit what so ever. Every game he plays he make more and more other players stop playing, having the shitiest experience and going for other games. If he play 10 games a day that represents 270 affected other players per month. Who is more important? A shit customer who make literally hundred of good customers walk away or the customers that are walking out? In fact you probably already statistically have a net loss associated to your account, what was taken in consideration during the design of the banning system. You argument also fail in creating a connection between reforming and having your account back. What is the connection? You are free to create a new account and show that you reformed there right now. You can still be part of the game and was definitely not banned from creating a new account, unlikely Tyler 1. None of the names you said before had any account ban lifted. Also you talk about profit for Riot but don't appear to see that this kind of reasoning, if was the only one in the table, would just reforce the idea that you should not have your account back at all. It's way more "profitable", in the sense that will "help" to cover the immense loss you caused, to have you buying RP to buy all your skins again and champions again. The only players written off forever are already on a kind of redemption watch. You are not part of them right now though as your, as a person, was not banned of the game, just your current account.

: Sure. Gonna talk more problem statement stuff than exact details but those'll be coming in the next couple weeks. One thing to note is that we're doing less of a giant midseason release this year. Changes will come over a couple of patches, and it'll be smaller scope - there's no Runes Reforged or Elemental Drakes in this one. The changes that are there are likely to be significant, though. Likely to see changes aimed directly at Marksmen on 8.10 or 8.11, possibly both depending when work is finished, and then possible (but definitely not guaranteed) Fighter work in a follow-up patch. We're looking at Marksmen with a few values: 1. The mere fact of getting to two items shouldn't guarantee they're the most valuable champion on a team, but getting ahead should matter a lot. 2. They need to be able to buy early items that ensure they can be fun, have responsive inputs (shoot-step-shoot is pretty unpleasant with no AS), and contribute appropriately. I take that to mean they need to get Attack Speed, potentially movement speed (though less required), and at least some punchy, powerful hits. 3. We're going to be looking for ways to play up the difference between a snowballing champion and one that's merely on the curve - that includes Fighters, Assassins, ADCs, and Mages (though we think Mages are actually more correct than the other three - if they're behind, they provide primarily utility, if they're ahead they can be great damage carries). We'll especially value any time we can hit multiple of these classes with shared items - e.g. items that help both Fighters and Marksmen, or Assassins and Marksmen. 4. Some opportunistic stuff - e.g. reducing the burst damage of very late game Infinity Edge builds to other squishy champions. This will probably mean significant reworks to Infinity Edge, Essence Reaver, Last Whisper/Lord Dominik's Regards, cost changes to things like Phantom Dancer, possibly a new item, likely buffs to some underperforming items, plus some ADC base stat changes.

May you rework Soraka so starcall speed and range improves with the time, her W have a huge Cd but when you land starcall her W resets and, at the same time activate on the last healed champion?

Varus [because of varus R and soraka E, if she level up her E] and Kalista [because of the protection] would be my favorites.

: If you look at the Q&A basically every comment is saying they don't find Kai'Sa sexualized or how Riot shouldn't be scared to make sexy champions because its often appropriate in the fantasy setting. Like did they get like 5 angry feminist emails in their inbox or something? Because no one who actually plays League is complaining about Kai'Sa, she doesn't even stand out to me as a sexualized character. {{champion:103}} {{champion:28}} {{champion:21}} all have sexualized elements and these characters are pretty well accepted since its baked into their story and design.

Kai'sa is fine. There is no need to apologize. > > Sincerely, > A concerned Canadian. That's very ignorant. The reason they apologized was because hundreds of thousands of players made clear that there was a problem with the way they decided to portrait kai'sa based on her lore. So many reddit posts with thousands and thousands of upvotes about her perfect english voice line, bland personality, 0 sence appearance, 0 sence dressing, etc for a girl that was suppose to have 0 education, live her life like a miserable animal and fight for survival in a hell hole that could as well be 100% berserk style. In the comic, took less than 5 minutes for the void to completely kill and corrupt random adults that felt in it and she somehow survived, and also survived being a disney princess? With huge silicone boobs to go along with her V cut? This whole "omg, riot is apologizing for kai'sa looks make no sense" is pure ignorance of people that don't even realize how big that subject was just 1 month ago. If you want to act like this is something about woman body exposure in general and delude yourself, go for it. But it's 100% ridiculous that kai'sa would have makeup, a full shampoo treated hair, flawless skin and a fucking, cherry on top, v cut on her hell/void SURVIVAL FUCKING ARMOR. This is enough of that oversexualization bullshit and yes, it's a great victory to see that riot apologized because of that.
: I think people just want things to be upset about so they can use it to forward their opinions. It took from Jinx to Xayah before we had another conventionally attractive female champion. Everything inbetween there was pretty diverse, including Xayah and Jinx. But oh no Kai'sa has a deep neckline and a fit body, gotta shove opinions down people's throats so that all video game woman wear full suits of armor with no skin showing. How dare a woman be attractive! Don't worry though shirtless buff male champ you're fine, nobody complains about you. The complains had nothing to do with the deep neckline and a fit body. The thing is that she was suppose to be a survivalist from the "void" and having a clean face, make up, treated hair and a deep neckline were just too much to not start feeling that the whole history behind kai'sa was bull shit. You would expect scars, mental health problems, problems to communicate and a very pragmatic attitude from her. None of those things actually are in the champion though. Months ago kai'sa had a big post with thousands and thousands of upvotes stating how shit was to have her talking perfect english when she was suppose to have lived her child hood killing and running from monsters. People that want to make everything into a SJW to avoid trying to understand an issue just spread ignorance. It's clear that kai'sa forced up way beyond the normal something that was already a sensitive theme. Also is kind ridiculous to say: "the opinions is that all video game woman should wear full suits" when is the exactly opposite. Why can't she not look like a disney princess when her lore calls that up? Is that a invisible rule you have? You don't care seeing any woman having a non-cohesive lore as long as it's sexualized enough to you? People like you and who is upvoting this kinda of shit are part of the problem.
