Honestly, I would blame the damage meta. People who lose early game just get blown up after the first 10 minutes and it really feels awful.

Damage/Mobility creep turned a strategy MOBA game into a Call of Duty Kill fest. Most people who originally played LoL left because of the changes...myself included.

The way fiora was balanced was that she should be able to 1v1 anyone, regardless of how tanky they are.... Which to some extent is okay, but they decided to give this character god-like 1v1 potential and the ability to be useful in teamfights (AoE Heal, Damage/CC Immunity, CC, crazy mobility and sustain) basically a "better nerf irelia" situation unless they gut the champion. (Meanwhile, Vayne can still die in 1-2 second to burst mages...) A big problem with Fiora's passive imo is WAY too spammable and bursty... Simply proc'ing passive + getting ult procs = 5 procs _**With only 200 bonus AD this becomes 57.5% MAX HP BONUS TRUE DAMAGE within....4 seconds?**_ I see Fiora being a way bigger abuser to true damage than vayne
: As a typical tank player it's really fun seeing {{champion:67}} / {{champion:114}} deal over 50% of my MAX HP in true damage in a single fight. It would be okay to have "tank killers" IF they wherent also DOMINATE vs so many other none tanks as well.
To be fair though, Vayne's W at max rank is 14% True damage per 3 auto's. Assuming you tank ~50% true damage, that would mean she attacked you 9 times in a row or roughly anywhere between 6~9 seconds. Which is rough, but atleast you gave your team a good opportunity to "do stuff". Keep in mind the stupid power creep buffed Vayne's original passive damage of 8% per 3 autos to 14% which is RIDICULOUS.
: The Reason Tanks Aren't Played Often
As bad as Vayne's W is, I would reconsider how good it is considering she has to attack 3 times in a row and it's single target damage, I feel like there are bigger tank Buster's in the game like Lucian that can abuse Black Cleaver, or champions with AoE to wipe out whole teams like MF or Xayah. Keep in mind ADC's late game are suppose to scale the hardest so considering the hardest carry in the game can kill tanks pretty quickly (5-10 seconds) I consider that pretty balanced for having a weak early/mid game while still insta dying to any point click mage like Annie, Syndra etc. I think the best way to solve all this problem is to just give tanks better armor/resistance scaling similiar to Leona W but also for offensive abilities so they can scale enough to deal "some" damage, while still focusing on building pure survivability. Idk.

Depends what you are interested in. I recently played Hollow Knight and Ori the blind forest. Both are wonderful games with quite a bit of exploration and combat difficulty to keep them interesting.

If you wonder why games feel one sided its because Riot made gameplay changes so games in general end sooner which usually results in "oh we lost the first 10min, GG". The despair of waiting 10min for inevitable defeat is way worse than having games last 10min longer but having a actual chance of making a comeback.

The entire point of runes reforged was to give different gameplay options to players but in the end, it became an optimization game of which champions can abuse the stats more.

Not sure why you would need to be the same skill level in more than 1 role other roles if the essence of league (5v5) is about playing your role properly. Mind you I can perfectly well play any role to a gold level, but my support is only D1.

Theres 2 issues with this First it makes it harder for new players to get into rank But the real problem is Riot has a "designated meta" of champion they love. (Its the reason why Ryze has 7 reworks and why Riven/Darius have been king/Queen of top lane for god knows how long). If we get 10 bans we will effectively be stopping Riot from promoting their meta game.

If you wanted to make garen more high skill cap here are some possibilities... His Q now has near instant animation but cannot reset auto's anymore (still meele range) and can interupt mid cast animations such Darius Swing or Ezreal Ult. His E now extends in duration for each tick that hits more than 1 champion up to 2 bonus seconds. (This means if positions himself properly and tries to hit multiple people) his small AoE will last longer. His R now deals damage equal to base amount + % of his missing health. If he kills the target he gets % health back. These changes make garen get into the fray more and if he gets enough aggro his ult will "spit back" all the damage he took during the fight. I feel like it has an "anti execution" ability which thematically feels great compared to darius. Alternatively, he could have something similiar to old galio ult which dealt damage based on how much damage he took.

Tbh, only Tanks and Supports should have lots of CC. Mages focus on ranged AoE damage with moderate CC while assassins focus on high single target damage with usually a single target CC.

Chain CC should be a viable advantage when a champions kit have weaknesses for it. Ex: Janna or Nami have lots of CC but dont do alot of damage and are immobile. However it pisses me off how new champions are getting away with tons of CC + mobility + damage. The only way to fix this is to start nerfing CC/mobility on character who rely on doing damage

: Pre-game stat sites demonstrate that the outcome of most games is determined before they even begin. Individual performance has no impact on how much LP you win or lose after a match, it's ridiculous that someone whose playing poorly on a winning team gets the same amount of LP as someone carrying. Vice-versa players doing well on a losing team shouldn't lose as much LP as someone feeding. The easy fix is to make LP gains and losses scale with performance. For example, getting S rank and losing reduces LP lost by 50% and winning with S rank should increase LP gains and so on. It would also encourage players to stay invested in games they anticipate to lose and for players doing poorly to do better in games they anticipate to win. In my opinion this would make games and the community MUCH healthier.
The only problem with this approach is that some forms of gameplay aren't accounted for rank. For example, an obnoxious split pushing Trynd or Singed could win a game for their team even if they are feeding.

I agree. It makes skillshots hard to land, especially when they aren't line shots such as Nami Bubble, Ziggs Bomb, Soraka Starcall, etc. Not to mention they have a rotation, return fire, engage move speed bonus which is extremely powerful. I've given up on trying to play competitively because Riots design of lots of mobility with games ending in 20 minuyes consistently are honestly, not fun. Edit: Someone once suggested all mobility abilities should be affected by slows which if you truly think about it, is quite fair. Hecarim Ult with a 50% slow becomes twice as small, Yasuo Dash becomes significantly trickier to pull off, and Riven cant magically gap close 600 range in 1 second.

I've played normals a few times and I currently reside within the Masters/GM/Challenger Realm and I can tell you that although people have high rank it doesn't necessarily guartunee a win. In my case I spend my "normals" having fun and alot of times I feed playing off roles like ADC against Gold players. I agree they could do a better job of match making, but dont give up hope of winning, because if they are playing against you, they are probably playing for fun and will not try-hard.

I agree. Im a support main and on the rare occasion I get shoved into another role I'm basically a feeder. I'd personally like the option to disable auto-fill and secondary role regardless if I have to wait +20min for a game.

I'm seeing this issue with alot of strong champions where riot tries to balance powerful kits with big hit boxes....sona, aatrox and hecarim come to mind. The main issue with Sona is her laning phase is actually pretty decent and her Q poke when practiced is quite safe/powerful. And her scaling aura touch is quite powerful too. However what really puts her leagues ahead is that her ult is an AOE nuke stun. Being able to say "sit" to an entire team REALLY powerful, especially when you consider that she can position herself with flash to guartunee the stun lock on prime targets (usually hitting 3 or more people) for 1.5 seconds. If Sona needed any tuning, I would say making her ult smaller or longer cast time. For reference, Leona ult has about 1/3 the size of Sona ult (not to mention the stun isnt guartuneed) and the delay is 1/3 the cast time of Leona ult.

I used to play a wide variety of champs. The only rework I was truly upset about was removing Ap Master Yi and removing old Fiora ult (not to mention the horrible splash art)... It was depressing.

Nautilus ult at lvl 2 is a 1 second knock up (non-cleanse) that can hit multiple target. E.g. OP AF Just because naut hook can hit minions, it gets +400 range compensation which is insanely useful.
