I've lost count how many games i'm 30+ cs above the enemy adc, only to get steamrolled by a roaming jungle. Jungles are pretty strong in the early game from the perspective of an ADC main
that's roughly my point. is that early game you have no inherent advantage over your enemy laner other than possibly a superior combination and whatever state of balance those champions are in. In most cases that should mean that a jungler from either side can simply show up and tip a stalemate to disfavor into favor instantly almost merely through presence. Another champion attacking creates another 50% more champion aggression in a situation where you already had next to no advantage to begin with. It's devastating, and all they had to do was show up. But in truth i still wouldn't accredit that strength to the state of jungle but the state of bot lane. Because champions and players are supposed to have the capacity to play around disadvantages and set backs. Currently in League you lose advantage bot lane and the enemy ADC simply starts steam rolling you without jungle help and now you need you own jungler just to stalemate or turn the lane again.

: 3-4 is not remotely enough games for a streak. Before the client update for me a streak was when I filled my entire match history with wins. That's just not a number of games remotely relevant.
ok. if you went to a casino and played Black Jack. statistaically the highest percent chance for a player to come out with money from a casino. You go All In on your hand and win. You do that 3-4 times. at 3 win yous have 800% of the cash you started with. At 4 wins you have 1600% of the cash you started with. would having 1600% of your starting cash not be considered a considerable enough win streak to cash out and go home on? Riot matches games based on a rough 50% chance to win. if that chance stays the same through all games played your chances of having won 3 times in a row statistically is 12.5%. 4 times is 6.25%. Winning until you page is full requires roughly 8 to 10 wins. the chance of 8 wins in a row is ~.37% and ~.09% for 10. Now i really don't know about you, but i think a shot as low as 6.25% sounds pretty damningly low to start and thats only at 4 wins. If you think you need a filled match history (~.37% chance or lower) then why are you playing League and not in Vegas if you're shooting for luck like that?

: So Wes, how many consecutive games does it take for you to consider it a streak?
for most players, 3-4. For Rito's MMR system. 1-2. maybe even 0 on a good day to start things off right.

: So here's an honest to goodness question for my own curiosity - ideally, what do you want to actually figure out from death recap? What to buy next (Armor/MR/Lifesteal whatever)? If someone did more damage than the person that killed you? What ability was used on you? Something else? Like, assuming you know who got the takedown (from the scoreboard), what would you specifically be looking for out of death recap (in an ideal bug free fantasy world)? EDIT: Thank you to all the folks responding, really interesting to read through your thoughts & wants. <3 EDIT 2: Guys, I play other games. I know that other games have death recap features. I know that other games have death recap features. I'm asking about what YOU want personally and specifically, not for examples of other death recaps. :) Which skill did the most damage to me, which champion did the most damage to me, and which damage type did the most damage to me. and it should be categorically organized. for example; far left champion did the most damage before i died, followed by second most at middle and third most at right. The top ability listed under each champion would show the most damaging ability they dealt (obviously along with it being mag/phys/true) and the next two abilities there after. same logic applies tot he remaining two sources. The coup de Grace though would be having a corner somewhere located within the recap that would list not only the damage taken/ in what time, but the % of damage taken. For example; 1788 damage dealt in 5.68 seconds. 67% magic 30% physical 3% true. Now you know how quickly you died from how much health, which champion did it the most, which spell they did the most with, and which damage type is categorically messing you up to counter build against. That way people don't have to analyze their recap and personally attempt to compute which resistance they should rush in a game where either could be justified at that second. I personally frequent count how much damage i took from elements in my recap to figure which killed me fastest, this could help immensely to have it simply presented to me.

welcome to faces in which all faces, look like faces. honestly. how much deviation do you think you can get in the human face to make it not the same face? if you look closely you can see vayne's jaw is more sqaured than Kat's and Dianas with a wider chin. Leblanc has a square jaw like vayne but a narrow chin like diana. Kat sits in the middle with a middle ground jaw and chin. Le'blanc obviously has a slightly larger, sharper nose than the rest, and Vayne has a pronounced one. Diana has almost no bridge to her nose, making it very subtle. Vayne and Kat both have dramatically high arching eyebrows with kat having a sharp point on hers. leblanc's eyebros are high but not arched. Diana's are low and subtle. Seriously. literally all of these women have their own features on their face that make them all stand out if paid attention too. you're just complaining but the range isn't the difference between Annie and Rek'sai in my opinion. His power now comes from a literal demon. Hard to do much about the color scheme without it being tied to the skin. and speaking of, go ahead and look at the skin previews. The colors are solid and probably definitely more up your ally.
: Are marksmen becoming too safe?
As long as a marksman isn't dead, all of their health bar is a shield. they can have 1% left and still ace the team if they just dont get hit again. Supports just make sure they dont run out. Which is two problems in 1. can't get through the red bar with all the heals and grey bar, and if you dont get through 100% of the red bar they win regardless of their condition. 100% dead, or 100% lose. no middle.
: Resolve tree is actually pretty good. Minor rune wise, it's on par with precision and sorcery because of how much flexibility you have, so it's not like those are worse than the others The keystones are relatively lackluster for solo laners right now (except aftershock), but Aftershock is probably gonna be abused next patch and RIot has been working on a 4th keystone for sometime now. So what are the bad runes in resolve? I legit don't see any. Tanks take sorcery to abuse it, but it doesn't make them tankier. Generally, for the ones that take sorc, it allows them to cheese through lanes through spamming. Resolve promotes more commitment to fights; that's the complete opposite of the current general meta tank playstyle of whittling away at the opponent. Jg tanks take resolve and are supposed to naturally have weaker early clears. Tank junglers aren't really bad, they're just bland and linear, but that has been a problem that's persisted long before runes were introduced. Resolve isn't bad, though.
funny you mention aftershock being the only decent keystone, because it's already taking hits on the PBE right now as we speak.

Try researching the skin or attempting to understand why OP is making the statement he is. There once was an avid league player who loved jax and had cancer. Riot put the skin Jaximus on sale and donated part of the proceeds to help him overcome it. He didn't manage to so Riot added a special line to the Jaximus skin saying "Here's to you kid" and have made it so that Jaximus is the only skin in League that can never be vaulted (they tried once and realised their mistake) and also have it as the only skin that will always be in the specials tab for the skins store i believe. That skin is literally a standing homage to a kid whose favorite game and champion was league and jax before he died of cancer. Hence, Op asking is a part of the proceeds from the skin going on sale can be sent to make a wish, so the boards can drum up sales for it again.

Irritating on a personal level has little to nothing to do with feelings for a champion. I voted for Yasuo and love to play many champs that counter him, Which includes my main. I still chose him though because i hate seeing him. I hate him on the enemy team, i hate him on my team. I hate watching his windwall invalidate faaaar too many things even if it's saving my life and dont get me started on when it's saving his. I hate not being able to run down my own lane for safety because my own minions give him a free in on me. I hate he has safety from towers and a passive shield i have to poke before i can _wisely_ use my burst. I can understand that many of his abilities have some tight conditions or long cooldowns, but nothing stops me from hating its existence or the mere sight of it doing its job. My knowledge of his counters and how to implement them doesn't make me hate him any less. I'm on tilt just from having to deal with him. Accord to season recap my most killed enemy champion of all last year was Yasuo. I can kill him, but i don't want to, because i just dont want him in my game to start. "The most BS champion of all time" is not a rational poll, it's an emotional one. Otherwise the answer would be mathematically quantified, agreed on loosely, and the poll wouldnt even need to exist.

I thought it was odd that all 4 players involved (aside from being friends and one of their names) were all Bronze ranks in this game with monsterous amounts of games played (Solo/Duo Queue), but Gold/Gold/Diamond/Plat in Flex Queue relatively next to no games played. Is this common?
not terribly. Might be a case of players not wanting to really play ranked unless in a group, thus not climbing out of bronze while making it to gold+ with their buddies. What is seen more commonly is "tanking" in which you have gold+ solo/duo players with bronze flex while still having a ton of games in which they play, stomp to the end, and surrender to drop Elo to keep stomping low tier matches for fun.

Season one was good for its originality. maybe great but i hated asuna and really struggle to call it that. season 2 was trash. Season 3 lost most of what made season 1 good but i really like the gun theme and the artwork of season 3. I absolutely adored Shinon's (probably spelt wrong) character growth but it made all of the other characters just straight one dimensional in comparison. She was vastly more adorable and relate able than Asuna ever was. She was a singular shining star in all of season 3 that made it any good beyond being visually appealing. So while SAO i believe shall always take credit for pushing "A" bar when it comes to Anime, i would never permit it to be said that it pushed "THE" bar in anime with as bad as many of its elements were and how horribly it rode on the few good aspects it had in many cases beyond season 1.
: See, I can't understand that. The original Courage of the Colossus was made with a restriction likely to try and prevent abuse by top laners and marksmen. But Aftershock doesn't have the same risk - it's an armor and MR amp, and tanks are pretty much the only champions who stack armor and MR. So Riot doubled down on locking entire classes out of the rune, but then left champions who are actually IN the class out in the cold ({{champion:20}} {{champion:201}} {{champion:31}} ). Maybe you could pass these questions along to someone from the Rune development team and they could swing by and tell us why Aftershock needs to be limited to those who have close-range immobilization when the buff itself is practically already locked in to tanks only?

Look at it this way. Riot puts out 3-5 skins (not including cases with chromas) every 2 weeks. they say it takes 4-6 months from start to finish to make a skin. A team has to pitch ideas for a skin, have it sketched, have it rendered, colored, animated, added effects, and polished for shipping. all of those steps needing to go through probably 3 to 5 different teams in the process. if we take the average skins on release, 4, by the average number of months in the process, 5, and the average release cadence, 2 per month, we get roughly 4 x 5 x 2 = ~40 skins in various stages of creation all at one time, on average. plus the 1 ultimate skin that takes a year to make as well. Not even including all of the concepts and work done on skins that get scrapped anywhere on the production line. Its not red tape, just a ton of juggled bars in the air requiring a lot of correspondence between teams and constant feeding of progress down a very long pipeline of work. : Pretty much the reason I stopped playing ADC. Mid laners trade kills like mad (or mine just feeds) and it doesn't matter where I go or if I have allies around me, I'm 100-0'd the second the enemy mid laner sees me. I understand that kills give rewards so that you can scale and carry by playing well. In lower elo this transpires in to "get fed or lose". They say winning your lane consistently will win you >50% of games, but realistically that's not true in low elo. If you grind out a farm lead and maybe 2 or 3 kills in lane for 90% of your games, go even in 5%, and lose hard in 5% because the enemy tried to go HAM, but mid lane is trading 12 kills every game, you're going to have a 50-50 win rate on the 95% of games where you're even or ahead, and a 0% win rate on the 5% you're behind. That translates to a sub-50 win rate despite winning your lane 90% of the time. Long story short, when I somehow got put in to bronze 1 in flex queue last season, I couldn't climb out until I switched to mid lane. Winning your lane 90% of the time as a mid laner generally lets you climb.
I think the best carry positions for climbing bronze - gold are Mid and Jungle. I find adc, supp, and top a toss up. Supp needs to rely on either getting a solid adc partner or being able to abandon him and support the team as a whole well enough to recover while ADC needs a supp that can keep them alive well enough to not feed and hope to scale into "late game". Top has a handful of strong carry champs that when played, generally net really consistent win rates. Playing as a change of pace without having a strong top gets you no further than anywhere else. I find down here that many top laners are playing either weak champions or champs they arent overly strong with that lead them to feeding in some form or another for whatever reason. Over aggression leading to feeding kills to junglers or weak knowledge on how to survive making them get farmed. Mid lane is just a game of "can i win this lane?" if yes, win and ward so you dont get ganked. if no turtle, and make sure you know how to survive under tower. Which isn't quite the same as top lane as there is a much larger roam potential for the mid lane as well as gank potential for the jungle.Which is where all the snowball and carry potential is generated. Top lane is a win or lose 1v1 that you gotta knuckle out yourself and can often generate a strong carry if you win and the jungle hasn't noticed yet. Making it a good sleeper carry spot, if you can play it.

Kind of like how people wanted Christmas Eve but her rework is so new i don't think they could have finished that skin unless they started it before her rework was even pushed live. it takes 4-6 months on average to make a skin from start to finish and ~1 year for ultimate skins.

American court ruling dicatates the mothers are "maternal" and thus get custody of children by default unless mandated by court or some other agreement. I have a sister that is 13 years younger than me that was forced to live with my mother after parents divorced even though she was unfit. to get my father to keep her we would have had take her to court and have her slandered so horribly about _why_ she was unfit to have default custody that it would have ruined her to her family and possibly cost her her 20 year job. it's a shite system.

Safety should not be something exclusive to assassins.
because they do have turret safety. Elise has E, Zed has W/R, Leblanc has w, Kha'zix has E on kill, Ahri has R, Kassadin has R, Eve has R, and Fizz has E. There are plenty of assassins and assassin like champs that have some measure of ability to kill under tower safely. Only damn problems is all of them need SKILLS to do it. Yasuo has it as a passive. and a _hidden_ passive at that.
: the older you get, the more difficult it is for you to learn new stuff. you probably know this quote "you can't teach an old dog a new trick", its because its harder and harder for us to keep with new stuff. for example, i found a website with A LOOOOOOOOT of cool new pirated games, and i downloaded a bunch of them. how much time i used to play them? about 30 minutes in nier automata and that's it and i think that game looks gorgeous, but... it gets more and more hard to play games and do it properly the same thing probably happen to the guys you are spending time with. I'm only decent at this game since i started since s3 but that's probably about it
To be fair, Nier Automata was a stunning game through and through but the story line.... hurt. After beating the game through and through i struggle to go back and play it in spite of giving the game a 9/10 rating from just how plain _SAD_ the story was. Like brutally so. If you find every single secret ending in the game you unlock the "true" secret ending that lets you fight the end of game credits as a way of "rejecting the story" (something that only really makes sense if you've beaten it) and you can get help to win the fight. come to find out when you win you can volunteer to help other players finish the true ending as well, but in return, you have to forfeit you game save. and then the game goes and makes you watch as it deletes every item in your game, every tab in your window, every element from your HUD, and every save game folder on file. it takes several minutes. you cant interfere in any way. You literally have to watch the game slowly, and methodically, wipe itself back to square one, and not even as a joke. all game saves, everything gone. you "rejected the story" to the point that it never happened. Some game just really break boundaries from how they were even just a decade ago much less and further back than that.
: The gameplay meme sums up when I try to tell people that Twitch is the most easiest counterable champion in team fights especially if you're a support main. They wont stop beating my ass with downvotes T_T my feels are being hurt.
just because he can be countered doesnt mean i trust my team to do it or capitalize on it when i serve him up to them. many weak early game junglers can be rendered useless pre 6 before they can generate stronger and more reliable gank potential. doesn't stop my team from shoving under tower all game and blaming me for being a "useless jungler" and "no ganks".
: Could they not make turret base dmg is doubled each time its hit its target after first hit with a cap of 300% dmg increase maybe? So say turret did 100 dmg, next attack do 200 then capping at 300 for example.
they already go up 80% and cap at 240% if i remember correctly.
: Ezreal's power has always been warped by on hit effects. This isn't new.
that's the point though. is ever time he breaks an on hit item (IBG, BoTRK, Runic Echoes, etc.) Either ezreal or the tiem itself get nerfed and both get balanced around their interaction with him. he single handedly ruined an entire jungle item forcing its total rework once. all because of his over the top Q on hit ability. and rather than addressing it on a case by case basis or simply only allowing him to get half effects on Q or something, just spit balling here, he forces himself and every item he breaks to be overhauled. Every. single. time. Every time he breaks something he ruins it for everyone else in the entire game as well as ruining Ez for everyone the plays him or against him due to it inevitably forcing a rework on him that those who like him will always fear will leave him worse. and it usually does. Riot needs to stop mass sweeping changes every time Ez breaks something and simply start addressing his Qs ability to apply on hit singularly.
: They need to change her ultimate back to where once she levels it she gets 1 charge, not 3 She use to have to wait a minion wave or two after getting 6 in order to actually all in, but being able to hop onto the enemy THREE TIMES as soon as you hit level 6 is absurd
I would have to double check but she used to start with 1 charge and now starts with 2 charges at 6. which feels a lot more like three since it cuts her wait time for all charges in half, but i'm almost positive she still doesn't get all 3 the instant she levels up R.
: His Q applies on hit-effects,. I don't know why you think Kleptomancy should be an exception to this, but not every other rune or item?
look at it from an efficiency standpoint. His interaction with this singular keystone is warping his levels of power but otherwise is relatively well balanced in regards to his interactions with all other runes and items in the game. would it be easier to make him an exception to the Klepto keystone, or to retune ALL of his relevant numbers to bring his interaction with Klepto in line without nerfing his viability elsewhere?
: Can we choose an unlocked skin for our recently played champion on our profile?
Please for the love of all things Holy give me Jade Dragon Vi as my champ profile background.

Him having a wife and a child was based on how he gained his ability's. It showed the distance he would go to avenge his family, that was his whole purpose. > > > Changing him to being gay completely throws characters away from being canon. Your throwing away his wife, and his child. This just does not feel right. It feels like Riot sat down and was like "hey we need a gay character to show diversity. If she was announced as gay, I would have no problem with it, why? because nothing in her story or lore is based on her sexuality or her choices. If Ryze was announced gay, whatever, he is a protector of a scroll, what does his sexuality have to do with that? Nothing. > > But Varus's original story was based on the fact that he lost his wife and child. The depths that he would go to avenge them. Your throwing those characters out for diversity reasons? why couldn't they just release a new champion with Varus's new story? Why did they have to take an established character that no one asked to be changed and just rewrite his story? Because reasons? > > > I get that they wanted to make him a Darkin, but why could they not just go "He lost his family so he gave himself to a darkin so that he could have the power to avenge them" Simple, easily done. > > (braces for public impact and people not reading full post and getting angry) > > EDIT: I understand the Varus (the darkin) is not Gay, but the people that inhabit him are. It STILL doesn't change the fact that we are tossing away characters for the sake of "We need a more diverse cast of characters" Except his original lore only says his family, it never says he had a wife and child... maybe he had a husband and child?
you're uh... you're inferring adoption right?
: Really? I dodged her sleep every time last game (she was quite bad at hitting her E) so I couldn't test it
yeah. black shield is a spellshield while GP is cleanse. Morgana shield fails to stop and they sleep probably by failing to shield before they got hit and it fails to stop sleep activation. GP waits to sleep then is K.

The number failed to take into account some player action a game owner could take in order to mitigate that cost. Essentially yes, the $2100 is a true number if a person had tried to unlock all of the games content purely through loot boxes. taking into account some, at the bare minimum, half way competant people with decent gaming drive, playing games and unlocking achievements for credit bonuses brings the number down, but still didnt even cut it in half if you wanted to have EVERYTHING in less than a week. much less only a day or two.

the top set is 45 champs putting it at 1/3 of the champion roster that can be negated by Tenacity and I count 33 in the bottom row. In a game with 137? champions 33 is just short of 1/4 of the entire champion pool with abilities that completely invalidate tenacity. 33 x 4 is 132 so only 5 champs in change is really not a stretch to say it really is 1/4. Just so everyone can clarify numerically as well as visually. meaning riot as almost managed to create as many champions that _ignore_ tenacity as they have created that are mitigated by it.
: We are all the same on the inside.... well most of us.
As a jungle main, i believe the last one should be, "People who think they should be able to jungle anything, then complain jungle is too easy."
: I think she is fine personally but if something is nerfed it could be her E activation damage. It's kind of easy to hit (more so through walls) and acts as a gateway to A LOT of guaranteed damage. Her Q is fine since it's a bit easy to dodge.
I think her ability to get things like gunblade, zhonyas, and redemption at lane before the 10 minute mark might need some tuning. Either her frequency for getting spells from minions needs to drop or she needs to be gated for 5-7 minutes to low impact items and summoner spells only. Her W is supposed to act like getting candy on Halloween except she beelined for the rich neighborhood and is raking in waaay to many king size candy bars.
