We haven't done full power testing for example so this is a list of things being tried NOT a proposed change list. Goal is for both AD and AP Shaco to be well supported builds with each having a distinct playstyle. (Had to type this down before posting; I work around the time the QGTs go up) Morning Meddler: There was mention of both Ivern and Shaco getting changes for the patch after this one. Ivern's changes have already been previewed, and it seems to limit player control over Daisy. What is the goal of that? As far as Shaco, I don't think I know what Shaco is supposed to be at this point. What role does Shaco fill? What are the intended goals of the changes?

: We think she's a lot stronger than her current statistics suggest. Last I checked bug fixes were all we had in progress. We'll reassess power again as 9.14 gets close, see if anything's needed there or not. Are there particular quality of life changes you feel are needed?
Not that I can think of; I just haven't seen a lot of her. To be fair, I haven't really been playing that much lately.

The champ/skin shards allow that to some extent; you can spend a shard to rent that champ/skin for a week. Other options include the PBE or Skin Spotlights on Youtube.

'Overpowered' doesn't automatically mean 'no clear weaknesses.' It CAN, but it could also mean that the intended weaknesses are not crippling enough or that Lucian's strengths can overpower his weaknesses too easily.

Have you considered putting the intended strengths/weaknesses of a champ on their Champ Details page? The graph and champ types they currently have are too vague, and having their intended playstyle written out sets a hard rule for that champ's expectations going forward.

: Some concern from people it's an overly effective and safe pick. Probably backing away from the nerf though, don't think they're causing that much of a problem overall and high usage rate partly just reflects other choices in that tree being niche or less appealing.
Stopwatch is a decent option, albiet not as effective as boots, but I don't think I've ever used Hexflash in ANY game. EDIT: What about changing Hexflash to instead reduce the CD of Flash by 2% (caps at 10%) for every time they used Flash that game?

Welcome back Meddler, Once a week is fine for these updates. We do want more feedback from the Rioters concerning ideas they're spitballing, but unless something important is brought up then once a week is fine. Gameplay discussion only is fine, though I would love to hear mentality on what Riot (not just you) thinks certain aspects (champions/items/lanes/comps/roles) should accomplish. I believe there is some discrepancy between player opinion and creator opinion on many areas, and getting on the same page would smooth out further discussions. I DO HAVE A QUESTION THOUGH Jungle has seen a net nerf since it got reworked in last year's midseason. What part of it is still unhealthy enough to require nerfing jungle even further?

Stuck at work again, hope you notice this. You spoke Wednesday about the dev teams being divided on whether {{champion:84}} Akali should keep her shroud or not due to how she can be so safe under the enemy tower. May I suggest meeting halfway? Adjust the towers so turret aggro she draws stays on her until she leaves range regardless of shroud, but allow shroud to keep her hidden from enemies as normal. The change should allow her to keep her unique strength without letting her ignore towers completely.

: That's an ongoing discussion internally right now covering whether this is the sort of unique strength we should be preserving despite its costs or something we should remove because of its downsides, thereby as you say freeing us up to put some power elsewhere. Will update once we've got a conclusion.
Meet halfway then. Change Akali's Shroud to hide her as long as she doesn't pull tower aggro. The minute the tower targets her, she loses Shroud until she leaves tower range. Rest of Shroud functionality is acceptable.

Klepto might be just a little too stifling in terms of procing it for champs other than Ezreal. Maybe change how it can be proced to something more achievable (spell and/or aa) and extend its CD enough to prevent overuse. A note regarding runes; Most of the keystones that exist seem to be strictly based in champion interaction, and that puts them in an odd spot for junglers. For some, it's not noticeable (Electrocute, Aery, Aftershock, etc). Others are not-champion-bound and therefore are just as useful in the jungle (Lethal Tempo, Predator). The cases where it's felt, though, are with ones that scale or grant undiminishable value from combat (Dark Harvest, Grasp, Klepto). All this leads to a question; what is the standpoint of junglers and keyrunes in regards to scaling runes? What about being able to scale at a diminished rate via large+ monsters?

: Hey, Thanks for your feedback. Differentiating the ult and Q is the thing I've been struggling the hardest with on these VFX updates, since they're both just liquid exploding out of a barrel :/ I think it's safe to say if we made gragas nowadays, we would not have two of his abilties basically being the same thing but having different effects. I added a bright glow around the barrel on the ult so that people could hopefully see when he was ulting a bit easier, but i'll see if i can amp the brightness a little more. Thanks for pointing out the W on Oktoberfest, I will make sure that it is more clearly visible, and might tone down the brightness on his base VFX as well.
The brew is magical in lore, right? Flavor the ult as magicaly volatile do to how unstable the magic is, and have the ult leave magical cracks in the AOE. Further down the road, you could consider changing the ult to have Gragas fire a magically charged freball of booze and unstable magic (an alcoball?) in place of a tossed barrel.

I would agree though that playful/spunky would be wrong for her; she's an emotionally scarred bounty hunter who got her revenge and has to decide what to do with her life. She'd be more cynical than spunky. OFF TOPIC QUESTION! Last week you mentioned the Tower Shields and Bounty changes and mentioned their usefulness as punishments for funnel comps. It's useful, but unless someone can vouch for funneling strats being difficult to do, does't it seems that all the pressure is put on the funneling team's opponents?

The changes to reduce funneling seem good on paper, but might it be an issue to be putting all the agency on the funneler's opponents? Unless some one can vouch for the difficulty of a funnel strat, it seems like the opponent is forced to do all the work to counter it rather than relying on the funneling team's skill, where there really doesn't seem to require much.

Not necessarily *punishing* per se, not like how Monster Hunter is punishing cs. These changes seem to make it harder to maintain a lead off of just farming. It certainly does impact eternapush champs though.

Might I make a suggestion for Rammus Rework? **Q: Power Ball** _Rammus rolls into a ball and revs up either for 2 seconds or until Q is reactivated. Based on rev time, Rammus then rolls away, moving at up to 300% movespeed (depending on rev time) and stopping when he reaches 125% movespeed or until he hits an obstacle, large or epic monster, or champion. Enemies hit are slightly knocked back and dealt up to X damage._ _As long as Rammus is rolling faster than 200% movespeed, he is at Full Speed. Hitting an obstacle at Full Speed will cause Rammus to bounce off and roll away, starting at 200% speed. Hitting a champion at Full Speed stuns the target for 1.25 seconds and deals the knockback and damage to nearby enemies as well._ And for shits and giggles... **R: Tremor** -Cooldown changed to 30 seconds.- _Rammus pounds the ground, dealing X damage to enemies._ >Note that it's only one pound, not an DoT AoE like the live version. _Rammus can use this ability while rolling. If he does, he will bounce a short distance. If he was rolling at Full Speed when he bounced, he will continue rolling.
