I do get WHY in some cases this needs to be done, but it is done to the point where a double standard is beginning to stir. For example, there has been a crack down on 3 things [2 and 3 are the double standard portion]: I have not seen this based on any removals I've looked at (most moderators tend to submit the thread for team consideration if they feel personally bothered by it precisely to avoid this issue), although I can understand that your point #2 and point #3 may sometimes appear this way. I have asked that point #3 removals be toned back until we have better guidelines to help internally and externally define what is an unacceptable post much more clearly. I agree those removals haven't been as consistent or predictable as anyone would like. > You get a message saying "This thread was either DELETED or MOVED" why are they never moved to the correct section if it is indeed an option? Because either that is a lie and there is no movement power (which I doubt), OR Moderators are just lazy and deleting it. We actually never move threads (We can't -- the function doesn't exist. I hate that.). Instead we recommend players repost to a more suitable location. > As mentioned earlier: If a Moderator doesn't agree with a poster/thread, lots of times they will just delete it, seen this happen to many threads last month. I haven't seen any of these brought up that haven't been A: acceptable, or B: reversed. If this is happening so many times, people should use the methods they have to get in touch with us to do so. If things are inappropriately deleted I *do* reverse the removals. > What Moderators need to do is act like a TEAM, stop going Rambo and deciding for themselves what is worth removing. I seriously rude/harassing thread? Sure makes sense to remove those ASAP. But what about minor things saying a "champ is broken" or "this champ sucks, fix it", and wanting to talk about it? THAT'S Moderators need to converse and decide if this thread is appropriate to keep around. As long as it doesn't escalate into a flame war, it should be looked over and viewed. We do, actually. This comes down to there not being the best guidelines at the moment for what spam and unacceptable posting at the moment -- the long and short of it is that people complained a *lot* about spam and repetitive threads on **Gameplay**, so we tried to address it, and found out in the process that we definitely need better guidelines for everyone to make the experience feel good rather than arbitrary. I have asked that point #3 removals be toned back until we have better guidelines to help internally and externally define what is an unacceptable post much more clearly. I agree those removals haven't been as consistent or predictable as anyone would like. If I may make a suggestion (if not already done), is have Moderators work in "sections". A minor example: At least 6 Moderators would be watching "The Game" section, each one monitoring one category as their designated section. I won't pretend that I know how many Moderators there are. But a robust amount of Moderators means multiple Moderators can moderate a category (different time zones allowing shifts). I do notice some problematic people like posting where/when most Moderators aren't around (I ran into this one before, appearing offline and punishing them makes them second guess trying that stunt lol) As I said, maybe you all already do this. >We actually never move threads (We can't -- the function doesn't exist. I hate that.). Instead we recommend players repost to a more suitable location. I'm still stuck on the fact the team doesn't have this ability. Is that an oversight from the higher ups or bad site coding which doesn't allowing it somehow? Seems like a basic feature all Sites (I been to anyway) has had this feature for those running it. >I haven't seen any of these brought up that haven't been A: acceptable, or B: reversed. If this is happening so many times, people should use the methods they have to get in touch with us to do so. If things are inappropriately deleted I *do* reverse the removals. I can at least respect this. I just hope it doesn't come down to reversing to often (as in to many mistakes of Removal needing reversed of course). I myself never cared to much about the "Forum Section where I moderated. I checked up on it daily...but most people didn't use the Forums (was a Text Based 24/7 mostly PvP 'Hacking' game. So most were using PM/Inbox to talk to one another, or using the Active chat (I Moderated Active Chat like a hawk) >We do, actually. Stay tuned on this one. A...Stupid idea/suggestion if I may with this one. Since we do have a Rant Section...my not have a Subsection of that. One of Champions, One for Patches/Changes, so on so forth. Reason I consider it stupid is we have a Game Play section for these sorts of topics, and Rant is...exactly that. Since most people don't go to rant expect to rant or have a laugh at a rant. It just be more crap to sift through, but OCD me would want more organization, even if it was more to deal with (for me). >They don't. We do internal applications, an interview process, and an on-boarding period. Good, glad it isn't the banned 5 times guy situation. I'd *like* to reduce that number further, but I do need some more meaningful feedback than "we can't do our jobs." Well, I PERSONALLY had no real trouble from them here, but here is what I am seeing: If a Moderator doesn't like a post/thread, they delete it. I do get WHY in some cases this needs to be done, but it is done to the point where a double standard is beginning to stir. For example, there has been a crack down on 3 things (2 and 3 are the double standard portion): 1. Elo/Level Shaming 2. Posts that are deemed trolling or harassing 3. Anything that doesn't hold any statistics. Now the #1 I do understand to an extent as people should not be judged based on their "Rank" as a good chunk of the population doesn't care about rank, but played the game a lot more then many ranked players. I myself don't care what anyone below level 100 has to say, this is due to the fact they are either new and don't know what they are talking about, or they are a 'smurf' account because they either hiding their main or their last account was banned. Elo means nothing to me as anyone can be carried/boosted, level at least shows you have played the game to some degree and grasp some idea how the game works. Now for #2 and #3 Again I do understand the point of this, but when people get their posts removed because of this yet a Moderator can be trolling to someone OR just post a biased ideology without providing any statistics to back their claim with no removal. As example, a player posted something in a thread, an idea on how to make something better, a Moderator just posts "lol no", something that would have been removed if this was a none moderator. They gave no real insight or input and just made a trolly post. This is just one example of many, minor infractions tend to be deleting a thread if it was in the wrong section. You know what happens to a thread when deleted? You get a message saying "This thread was either DELETED or MOVED" why are they never moved to the correct section if it is indeed an option? Because either that is a lie and there is no movement power (which I doubt), OR Moderators are just lazy and deleting it. As mentioned earlier: If a Moderator doesn't agree with a poster/thread, lots of times they will just delete it, seen this happen to many threads last month. What Moderators need to do is act like a TEAM, stop going Rambo and deciding for themselves what is worth removing. I seriously rude/harassing thread? Sure makes sense to remove those ASAP. THAT'S Moderators need to converse and decide if this thread is appropriate to keep around. As long as it doesn't escalate into a flame war, it should be looked over and viewed. I been a Moderator before (in another game obviously), I know what annoyance and difficulties it entails. And the biggest issue I personally seen is people who can't handle the responsibility...GETTING the responsibility. I worked with many decent fellow Moderators, but a lot of them were VERY incompetent. Hell one of them was a player that was banned on 5 separate occasions prior to being a Moderator...but he asked Game Admin and Boom...had to work with that mess. Just because someone says they want to be a Moderator, doesn't mean they should. Voting on a popularity contest (how much they post or how many likes they get) should ALSO NOT BE A VALID REASONING). I had to be the super strict member of the Mods because other mods rather play favoritism and wanted everyone to like them and let things go. They rather flex their title around and just "jackass" around and usually breaking rules themselves. IT SETS A BAD president for what the community is about. Have rude and obnoxious mods? Guess what, the community becomes that. Have someone who lets everyone do what they want? Guess what. the community becomes that. The Moderators set the tone of what the boards should be. P.S People hated me at first because they were getting punished after breaking the rules, but they eventually chilled out and realized as long as they stay in the rules, I am very fun to be around. TL:DR Bad Moderators make bad communities. Eventually communities revolt and going after good and bad Moderators (classic all for one mentality)....And if it goes ignored, you are left with the problem players running amok. This "headhunting' is that revolt

Maybe if they knew how to due the job correctly, maybe I would care a small bit. Sure some do their job decently, but like the police in the real world, people only see the bad ones because they get noticed more then the ones deemed true heroes. When the good ones defend the bad ones, then you KNOW what will happen. It be wise for the good ones to remain silent and not probe the issue further until things die down. As it stands, how they feel is of little to no concern nor consequence to me. I'm merely giving the best advice to the good ones. Don't expect a read from me if your reply to me is some whiny biased post.

: Senna should get a passive similar to kayn's
What I don't like about Senna is she can shoot her teammate (shielding them) and go through and her the enemy. She can use a range ability to damage tower (though that isn't new as Tristana does it with her bomb). But what makes this disgusting is that scaling range. Sure one can argue that she needs a lot of souls to get ridiculous range...but she hits so hard, and a fed Senna can make up those souls quick. Ult...ok fine I can deal with... That annoying Root Shot...sure The fact she pretty much as a leech/drain hp...something that should be changed. Being allowed to just outpoke range...Thats sickening, I hate dealing with Caitlyn...get both of them on enemy team and enjoy how top lane feels when melee goes against range... People throw around "overloaded"...but compared to all the crap she can do...yeah...someone with that much utility should have nerfed base stats at the very least. I don't mind her kit, but either her kits need fixed...or her stats needs reduced to balance it. Making it one or the other (defensive or offensive capabilities)? I feel like they would overclock the viable options honestly. But I like the concept of it though. Not disagreeing with your idea...just know what Riot would do to ruin it. Oddly enough...I underestimate {{champion:163}} damage...she really hurts. I think it's because her kit revolved around field manipulation so I see her as more of a..."Mage built to control the field/flow more then damage directly". Since mages of that style in most fantasy games don't do a lot of damage but, they aid your team by messing up the area for the enemy (cutting off paths...shoving enemies in certain directions). Sooo my old RPG senses throw me off with her EVERY TIME XD

Interesting concept to say the lease. But most would just go Damage and just be a kill lane (as it has been recently)

Well for Akali, it be foolish (through a a business standpoint) to nerf her when she has a new skin (hence the buff) recently out. As long as she is played alot and skins sell (they kinda cycle into one another, so it won't end soon), they aren't going to balance her for awhile. You notice that champs getting new skins have buffs prior to the release and stay that way for awhile (I assume until when the sales die down for their respective new skin)

: why do people focus on the bad all the time?
If you want to get down to the VERY BASIC reasoning: Its human instinct. It is used as a form of self preservation. See the bad in something, then you know you can watch out for it as a precaution. It is part of our genetic coding as humans to always see the bad over the good, because its a survival reaction. So yeah when looking at champions/items, they are going to look at the bad because it is seen as detrimental to their perseverance.

What I think is each season SHOULD change. However, not this insanity. Like there was a Tank Meta in the past, and last season was Burst Meta... Now work things around to have maybe a Movement Speed Meta, or a Support Meta, Anti-CC Meta. Mess with the stats of all champions (and Items)...force them to adapt to changes of that new season by playing different and playing different champs/styles. No. Inform.
: It wasn't in the video, but some promotional Riot posts on social media show a bit of personality leading up to the vid's release. https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-G7ZF-VUwcf4/XcW91DgZEfI/AAAAAAABHZI/Fk0SHAOGBD48BjMmhVxU7Uz0qYPlLMjgQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/EIymbJNW4AAvINX.jpg https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JDbWVoAzgLg/XceSp111FmI/AAAAAAABHbY/EN66wYgdqVw74K29i8Z8A-Sydrl-f5HCwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/75588109_10162801293720556_2598608441333252096_o.jpg

Yeah no I don't play that crap, although I won't have to buy those pictures. Those are all afterthoughts after something was already made/near competition and didn't feel like adding/making changes.

: Characters who can't Jungle Anymore ?
Since we talk about Junglers...How viable would {{champion:145}} be? I know she was seen as a JG at the beginning, but she ended up being an ADC.
: Senna
I heard having her and Yuumi is a nightmare for enemy. Any confirmations? Or proof of otherwise? Asking out of curiosity.
: If you are playing Senna please
*writes that down* Don't build normal Enhancer items on her. IF I ever get her.

Or was at least a problem. Agreed. Thats why my rule of thumb is : If I can penta with champs I don't normally use/outside my lane role, there's a problem. Varus is one I got a Penta with...I think twice (different occasions). Yet people want him buffed...But I digress as he isn't the topic. I always saw her as a different version of Twitch, rather then poisons and yanking, she stacks spears and yanks them. I never cared for her spirit seekers or her Ult. Her Ult should be something for a Support honestly.
: What's the actual excuse of TD Yasuo?
Know what, next Band better have {{champion:53}} and {{champion:432}} do some Daft Punk music. Give us some of that funk.

: Now that I look at True Damage Ekko in the image of Giants
DalekZec (EUNE)
: I don't even play Kalista but I feel sorry for that champion...
I got my first penta off her...think it was 2nd time I played her.
: Odyssey Yas was great in the little cinematic! They gave him a personality in the short time he appeared unlike with this. This is an obvious grab for money, like it's a business, but mehh.

They gave him a personality in the short time he appeared unlike with this. This is an obvious grab for money, like it's a business, but mehh. Yeah in that cinematic you could see how he was. Fist bumping with Malphite and flinching and falling back slightly. Reading that FanFic novel scene was just fun to see. Him just acting cheeky moving the board piece in the board game while Jinx and Malphite were distracted. Showing his annoyance about Jinx and the blasted camera, even later grabbing it and throwing it into the lunch tube. Everything about him was just fun. Not a single word was uttered and yet he beamed with personality.
: Wait... In True Damage

: Am i the only one who doesn't give a shit about prestige skins?
I never cared for skins in general. All skins I gained were either gifted or acquired ingame.
