I'm just gunna say this, and it could be totally inaccurate, but it was how the game felt to me. Back when it was tank meta, it felt like only certain tank champions were broken. Where teams would fight and say, "Man, Cho'gath is BS, he is literally unkillable." Now, it feels like the entire game is busted. There is so much nonsense in this game now that it's hard to know where to start. The damage is out of control, the CC is out of control, the snowballing is out of control, etc. If we are to stay in this meta, Riot needs to do what Blizzard realized very early on in WoW's PvP, and introduce a trinket that everyone can get with a cooldown to remove cc from you. There is so much CC on champions now, players can't have any skill expression anymore. Oh look, I dodged 3 {{champion:53}} Qs, a {{champion:134}} E and {{champion:498}} E, I'm doing awesome!!! Oh wait, {{champion:246}} R knocked me into a wall for 70% of my HP and I'm dead now. All the fun is taken out of the game when it becomes not just nigh impossible, but almost pointless to even bother trying to out play someone at that point.

You are most likely to be auto-filled to those 2 roles. Also, hardest to play? Are you living in 2009 or something? Support hasn't been the least played for a while, and why would they be? They are broken as shit. Top is an atrocious state right now with counterpick galore, and jg is awful to play. Even in my mmr I autofill to one of those 2 roles 99% of the time.

As someone who mains JG now. Here's why you don't get more ganks/help: Camp respawns/Farming path. The important objectives\control are on the bot side of the map most of laning phase. Which means if I have full-cleared my jungle, the place I will be roaming/looking for ganks is down bot and mid. I won't be sitting afk top-side waiting for a perfect time to gank pretty much ever because of that. That means the only time Top will be able to get a gank is if A) My JG respawns top-side. B) I see you are pushed to your tower and no risk of losing an objective botside, with the caveat you actually have a health bar left. Not 30% hp, not 50%, 75%+. Obviously option A) is the better choice, but I would say 93% of the time I am top-side, top lane is in no position to gank for. That is the biggest issue. I cannot afk top-side waiting for an opportunity beyond once or twice, and certainly not for as long as I could wait bot-side. I understand it is frustrating for top, but one thing top laners need to do is start watching where the JG is on the map and prepare their lane accordingly. That means if you see my clearing my top JG: -Why are you hard-shoving the wave into their tower? -Why do you not engage and wait for me to do the engaging when you see me heading up to you to help? Especially if they warded. That's a failed gank. -If you are behind, why are you trading blows with the enemy top laner, thereby forcing yourself in having 40% hp while their laner has 90%, and thus, not worth ganking due to the counter gank, or even being 1v2d by the bullshit champs in this game that go top lane? -If you don't have a wave, and the enemy wave has a crapload at your tower while you see me coming to gank, you should be trying to clear that wave. Not sitting there afk last hitting it under the tower. That way we don't take a ton of damage from a minion wave and risk dying, or even worse me getting cockblocked by minion pathing. If top-laners follow the advice above, I guarantee you will get more ganks than you do now. Once that happens, I am 100% worthless and there was nothing I could do about it. That is not nearly the same as you being a couple CS behind.

He's farming because he CAN'T do anything else in your scenario, and that's why JG is the most auotofilled/hated role right now. What happens is, if top lane is getting camped, then that lane is not possible to gank because of the damage in League it will be a double kill for the enemy team because they are ahead from the previous ganks. This is amplified by the fact that even though 3/10 times a gank could work, if it doesn't the other 7/10 because of what I said above, you get flamed as-if you had any control over the lvl 9 irelia 2 shotting the lvl 7 jg. So then you try to focus mid/bot, but your bot lane is also getting smashed and has 30%hp while the enemy has full hp, so you can't help there either which leaves mid. A very hard lane to gank most of the time and rarely successful unless they have no sums. That is the current state of JG right now. Helping someone behind in lane is a very precarious decision that more times than not leads to a grey screen for the JG and the enemy getting a double-kill, especially if there is a counter gank. Having said all that, I usually DO still try to help if the stomping isn't too bad. However, if it doesn't go well I won't be back the rest of the game.

Zed can use this for cover while he picks up some CS before the shadow drops, then get the rest from a safe range with Q, only missing maybe one or two. Absolute worst case scenario, he does this twice and always misses the second Q, and the third time he can kill you with his ult. It's unavoidable damage, and most mid laners have no way to reliably trade with him when he does this, either because the minions are blocking your skill shots or because he's too far away to guarantee a skill shot lands. If you try to rush Armguard, you just delay the time he needs to kill you to three W + E + Q combos, instead of four, with the added bonus that you quickly run OOM and have to leave lane, giving him plating gold, priority over objectives, and also free roams, which is potentially even worse than if he had just killed you.
This guy. Couldn't have said it better. Zed is a cancer in mid with no recourse for mages to do anything but die or get behind 40+ cs in 15 mins and however many tower armor he feels like taking before he curbstomps another lane while you're at the grey screen or backed for your 6th time.

Logged in just to reply to this stupidity. I DO buy seekers first. Know what happens? His EXP bar hits 6, he pushes the wave to my tower. Once I'm pinned there, he raises his forehead as high as he can, and them slams it as hard as he can on R under my tower, ignites, and if he can still see through the blood streaming down his forehead, maybe lands one Q or his E at a minimum, and walks away as I watch the grey screen. Since I built seekers first, landing my entire combo on him does maybe 60% of his hp with an electrocute proc. Meanwhile, he doesn't have to land anything but a point and click ult. I haven't found a way yet to counter that amazing gameplay. Even if I go stopwatch instead of boots in talents, Zed hits 6 before 10 minutes, and the scenario above happens anyway. Fantastic design through and through.

Promos never have and never will make sense, even by their own standard of how MMR should be working. It literally defies all logic. According to Riot, the goal of matchmaking is to get your WR to be ~50% as best it can. If I am winning 60% of my games, then I am outperforming at my mmr and need to have my mmr increased until my WR drops closer to 50%. So as an example, if I am in say Gold V. My MMR has me playing Plat V players. My WR drops to 55% from 60%. Still not perfect, but getting closer to my level. This means when I hit a promo series in gold, you are asking me to not only win 3 out of 4 games(I say 3/4 because you must win your match to hit 100lp before you can do promos, and then 2/3 in promos), or a 75% WR, but to do it against Plat 5 and possible higher players, while I'm still ranked at Gold V. On what planet does this make any sense? There is no other option for people to win a promo series on anything but luck since you are requiring them to increase their WR substantially against players much higher than their current ranking. You're asking a high school hooper, to become an NBA-calibre player for x amount of games so that he can be able to play college level ballers(his skill level). It's crazy talk.

Bro, yesterday in the TL vs C9 game, 3 members of TL were worth a bounty when TL was BEHIND IN TOTAL GOLD. Impact was down almost 30 CS and worth 450g. DL got to be worth 850g at one point while TL was still even with C9 in gold. This system is the most idiotic thing I've ever seen. Even DL has complained about the stupidity.

: Akali - Our nerf in 8.17 hit pretty hard - scaling exponentially with MMR (on that patch she dropped ~0.5% at low MMR all the way up to 2.6% at high MMR). We hadn't seen any pro play with the nerfs, and also believe that there are counters to Akali that hadn't yet been picked up much (Zil, Veigar, maybe even Renekton as we've been watching in KR solo queue as examples). Nerfing her blindly even further seemed incorrect given her live performance. Kai'sa was already making it through a lot of ban phases in playoffs/regional qualifiers meaning that pros were willing to play against her. We'd nerfed her on 8.18, nerfed several supports frequently picked to keep her safe in lane phase, and buffed some pretty strong lanes against her. Meddler already touched on Alistar. When it comes to balancing for pro play, a question you always need to be asking is "ok so who's next?". If we had swung hard and nerfed Urgot and Aatrox on 8.19, the likely result is that folks like Cho, Ornn, and Sion raise in priority. Nerf Graves, Camille, Olaf, you see more Gragas, Sej, and Trundle. Nerf Kai'sa, Varus, you see more Ezreal Trist, and Xayah (and Rakan as a result of their synergy). Everything is a tradeoff at the end of the day, and this year we opted for the strategy of buffing more of the counters to the champs at the top as a means of bringing the highest presence and lower presence champs closer to parity rather than just replacing the current top picks with the next in lane champs in the middle. This is kind of glossing over a pretty large topic, but hope it sheds some light.
Kaisa is only making it through ban phases because so many other champs are so busted she is just what's left. Teams have no choice but to either risk letting her through in the hopes they can shut her down before her late game is basically unstoppable, or allowing someone like Akali through and if she gets 2 kills you might as well just afk in base and move on to the next game.

But it was infinitely better than the braindead thing that is pre rework LB. Leblanc biggest strength is that her burst is very easy to apply and can be made from afar. Double jump + E to catch a carry so the jungle can follow is super strong. Double Q combo. Etc. If an assassin is picked in pro play despite their waveclear being 'weak', it say a lot about them.
As someone who used to sort of main LB. Her rework was absolutely atrocious. Pure garbage, and it totally ruined the champion and how she is played/what made her fun to play.

It can be much better, and the bigger issue is being banned for oh so bad words on an internet game over actually ruining the game for others. He isn't being reworked over a meme. He is a busted champ with very little counterplay in lane for the majority of champs. It is not simply defacto that he is balanced. He isn't. The problem is that this "counterplay" you speak of mostly doesn't work because of how buggy\poorly coded some of his abilities are. I made an extensive post about this, but in short his W blocks spells it shouldn't, his Ult allows him to ult people even after they land, nado hits outside of its range, just to name a few. Even disregarding his ridiculous power spikes(where he can get dumpstered 0/4 and be 19/4 at the end of the game), the main fact is that the amount of effort required to counter a Yasuo in lane is umpteen times the effort required to lane with him. That is why people can't stand him. I have to put all this effort into having picture perfect play, meanwhile he is slamming his face on his keyboard HUR DURing through minions dashing in random spots I'm supposed to be nostradamus about and know where he is going to dash in an entire minion wave hitting me with point blank range nados or Qs and windwalling anything I try to do in retaliation on top of his passive blocking my damage. It's completely silly. I would rather lane against the most broken champ in League than lane against a "balanced" Yasuo. That is why he needs reworked.

Blitzcrank being an example, pulled when standing totally outside of the animation, pulled when you watch a hook extend, stop, doesnt hit you, but then all of a sudden on its way back it teleports you into the grab and pulls you, etc etc.

I have watched players on countless occasions hit the ground, Yasuo ults, and it rises them back up in the air. Not visually look like. They hit the ground and then get ulted. The CC duration is irrelevant. His Ult specifically says airborne targets. They aren't airborne and the ult works.

It sounds like he's saying that when he targets Yasuo with a projectile while Yasuo's wind wall is already on the battlefield and Yasuo attempts to dash through his wind wall, the projectile is popped before Yasuo even crosses the wind wall because Yasuo is dashing through the wind wall. Yasuo's E, which the OP is talking about in the part that you quoted, is his dash - not his wind wall. He's not talking about the way that Yasuo's wind wall forms right behind him.

LOL what in the hell is this system? hahahahah What is it with Riot's refusal to do what the player base wants? There are too many busted joke champs in this game now, and there are nearly double the amount of champs as when this game started with the same 5 bans. 10 isn't even properly scaled right and they STILL resort to this nonsense system? I don't see this brought up enough, but I also believe the mobility creep\CC fiesta are just as much of a problem as the power creep. When I started playing league, I played nothing but WoW arenas 2200+ rated in 2s 3s and 5s. 2k+ rated for multiple season starting in Burning Crusade. WoW arenas you lived and died off your CC chains and perfectly timing them and getting players to blow their trinkets to create a chain and wombo another player. One of the things I loved about league was that CC was not rampant and only on select champs, and you did not live and die based on being caught in a CC and it being chained until you die while you can't use your champion. You died based on being hit by skillshots, not dodging incoming bursts, and bad positioning\use of your summoners. This also made the game FUN because it was directly related to your play and there was counterplay. There were exceptions to this of course, but those champs you could ban(and most usually did). Now, every champ being released has a stun\CC and most team comps have so many CCs, movement speed buffs or stuns it's nearly impossible to have any counterplay. Over half the time now you don't even bother using your Flash(if you can even get it off in the first place without dying in a 2 second stun in .5 secs anyway) because what the hell is the point? You would have just died to {{champion:164}} anyway. The feeling of hopelessness is rampant in both laning and team fights because of the constant unavoidable nonsense. Junglers diving towers destroying you and leaving, being 2 shotted by {{champion:91}} 8 minutes into your lane, cancer bot supports like {{champion:143}} and {{champion:90}} that have absurd damage and\or nigh unavoidable damage that bullies you into the shadow realm. This game has got to get back to being skill based and stop releasing champions that have MS increases, point and click stuns\slows and start basing damage off of active gameplay.

SOOOOO when 2 our of your 5 players are losing, of course its going to be extremely hard for you to come back. For botlaners this is another reason why its extremely import to play with respect at all times. EX, Who the enemy jgler? Are we already in a losing matchup? Do we have enough wards? Are we pushed in to far? PLAY SAFE if anything is questionable. Yes this does suck for the rest of the team. But this only betters you as a player, because the crucial and important aspect of awareness(map/bot lane) is taught to you. Again EX. Okay my bot lane is now 0/4... I need to look for a good roam/tp/gank(whichever position your in) or completely dominate my lane and roam there ASAP to prevent things from getting worse.

The problem here is that playing safe is no longer a legitimate means of countering this meta right now. Bot lane is between a rock and a hard place where you are damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I think a bigger point to this is not only losing because botlane fed, but the sheer hopelessness by bot lanes to be able to do anything. Towers are a joke, constant 4v2s with TPs bot lane it doesnt matter how you play the lane, there is nothing you can do. Get a lead, push the wave and get gangbanged for pushing your lead. Try to play passive? lane gets frozen, you are denied CS or pushed to your tower and then gangbanged anyway since towers don't do jack shit to stop the constant ganks.
