All Worlds patches are terrible.
: iirc tenacity does not stack additively (barring a small number of combinations), but rather stacks multiplicatively. So no matter the amount of tenacity they introduce it would be impossible to get 100% tenacity. For instance Garen gets 60% tenacity just from his W alone, so Legend Tenacity+Mercs would put him over 100% if it was additive.
On top of that, the tenacity rune in Precision stacks up over time and the other one is situational, so you're not going to get the full benefit all the time.

No, he's not. I see what happened, you only looked at win % and thought that was the thing to go by. The problem is, his playrate is so low, he comes up as a statistical fluke. Since Volibear's playrate is so low, literally everything shifts it. 1 player tilting and going on a losing streak effects his winrate more then is normal for a champion, same for an unusual winning streak. https://champion.gg/statistics/#?sortBy=general.winPercent&order=descend&roleSort=Top If you scroll over to the side, there's a tab named "Role Position." We understand what Sarcasm is, we're annoyed as hell because everytime we ask for tanks to be DURABLE, people reference the tank meta: Where tanks did so much DAMAGE they no longer needed other classes to win, claiming that proves they can't be allowed to function at all, outside competitive, I guess.

Many of them are outstanding duelists too, but why don't we see any of them in a lane? I think i've only ever seen {{champion:120}} once in toplane, but otherwise theres another core issue that's preventing these 'damage and cc powerhouses' from being in any other lane.
Often, that has more to do with the champions lacking something they need in the lane they'd otherwise have gone to. Waveclear is the most common one, but also range or trading tools/rotations. things like that. Sometimes it's because champions get bumped out of their lane by poor design choices {{champion:30}} Funnily, Taliyah's basically the best example of all of this. Nerfed out of lane // nerfed out of jungle. {{item:3073}}

: because his E does a billion damage, and high AP makes the DoT from his R deal massive damage, too. you don't want 1v1 damage in ARAM, or tower pushing. There's no split pushing there's minimal auto attacking for anything under 600 range, etc. Your best bet by far is dropping zone tools and dealing as much AoE damage as possible, which is what AP Nasus is good at. 300 damage every 1.5 seconds means nothing when you're going to be stun locked and killed within 2-3 seconds.
Big enough to hit most of the enemy team, and you're itemization options are just much better. Sometimes Rylais can really mess with the enemy team, or enable yours, extra antitank damage with Liandries, et-cetera

That's not the point I was making, The point is the game hasn't always been this insanely polarized. Pantheon, Zed, and even Renekton used to be top tier champions in a game with tanks. There was a point where the top 3 midlaners were Zed, Orianna, and Jayce. You're wrong. It's happened before and it could easily happen again if Riot didn't just hate everything they'd have to do to rebuild it. The game has only been polarized like this since Riot tore down the healthy interactions that used to support diverse classes and gameplay. And then stacked a shit ton of snowballing mechanics on top of it.

Bull shit. This game actually used to be like that. Zed and Pantheon used to be top tier champions, even back in 40-60 minute games. It's not impossible, Riot just hates half the things they'd have to do achieve it. Half the time, they don't even try. So we're stuck with this god damn carousal instead of any attempt at actual balance.

: Because IBG and Manamune/Murumana are outdated items for most other champions and are basically only built by him consistently. It points out the age of these items relative to everything else that has been introduced or re-introduced into the game. IBG has a lot of isolated abuse cases on ranged champions, but it's good for melees to stick to a target while still having a small damage boost and decent stats. Even then, melees aside from Ornn, Poppy, and Malphite, don't consider it much at all. The item needs an update, much like Manamune. Manamune/Murumana in general could be renamed Ezreal's Arrow at this point and we wouldn't care. It needs a complete overhaul to be an actual item in League of Legends and not just Ezreals personal hex core. BotRK and Trinity Force are among the best items in the game on basically any champion that can build them and use them, that's not limited to Ezreal in the slightest.
It's worth noting that both Jace and Varus used to build Manamue and play as AD Poke mage-likes, but both of them were reworked away from doing that. The problem with Muramana is that there aren't many AD casters with Mana to use it. And when there is one, they'll probably prefer Lethality now.

Adding onto what's already been said: It really sucks when this happens and the item has to be balanced around how much stronger it is on Ezreal, so much so that it becomes crap on the champions that it was supposed to be made for.

: Honestly i have to wonder how insane her ratios are given she has 2 offensive skills and an ult that seems very conditional to use. My first thought was how is this an assassin? my second thought was how is she going to be usable in any role besides jungle? i mean think about it the moment you lose control of your lane even slightly you lose 1/3rd of your champions kit if you can't risk getting near river.
tbf, as an AD champion she gets some damage from Autos too, depending on what her builds going to be.

to be fair, on any item other then boots you'd be 100% right. It's a little more difficult to predict how this would compete when the only things it has to overpower to become a problem are other boots. Mages and ADCs would never build this over damage items, but it's harder to tell whether they'd build it over their boots. Still think it'd be kind of a bonus to the game, maybe Tanks could use a boot item to build when mercs aren't mandatory.

And if this buff actually took him over the top you know instead of reverting it, they'd just use it as an excuse to nerf the rest of his kit. Root duration down to .5 seconds at all ranks on W and .5-1 second on ult. Balanced!
