: Check your math again, and here's the solution! bundle = skin(1350) + discounted chroma (195 each)*4 + non-discounted ruby (290) = 2420
ohh I didn't realize it was including the skin, thanks
: New Epic skins: Program Nami and LeBlanc
Why do the bundles make each chroma more expensive? At the bundle price each one costs 403 RP, doesn't seem worthwhile even considering one of them is bundle exclusive.
: Next season, the first game you play will determine your "provisional rank" which only you will see. It will be similar to how the system works today in that you will be placed lower than where you/the system actually think you should be. The reason we do this is because we make a lot of changes around preseason; in addition, lots of players come back and others might take a break. It's an opportunity for you to re-prove yourself. The difference next year is your placements should get you closer to where you ended the season by the time you complete them. You won't be able to lose LP during placements since we think your rank should be higher than your initial provisional rank.
Hey, is there any chance that we can get a little more clarity on how this works? Specifically what I have always wanted to know is how the mmr of the people I'm matched with effects the weight of the game. For example if I'm gold mmr and then next season I do promos with my bronze friend and we win 50% of the games, will I get placed lower and he get placed higher than if we had each won 50% at our own mmr? Or if i randomly am against a diamond player will I be punished less if I lose? This is something me and some of my friends have wondered about for years when considering playing ranked with each other, and not knowing makes people more hesitant.
: What We Heard on Ranked 2019
I really appreciate the transparency and that you are acknowledging all these problems, but at the moment it you haven't provided many solutions or explanations. I'm always afraid that if a solution doesn't come about, there will be a stigma of "we've put a lot of work and time into this so we have to go through with it and take the bad with the good." Just make sure that at the end of the day you aren't making change for the sake of change. Getting rid of old problems that we can deal with in exchange for new ones that we have to figure out is no fun. But really thanks for the update!

: friend in enemy team
They will never do this, it creates too much opportunity for griefing. As an example one friend could feed the other friend a couple of kills early (or they could each feed each other) and just like that the game is under there control. This has already happened in some games where 2 groups of 2 who new each other ran into each other in game and dragged the game out for an insanely long time, not allowing either team to surrender and feeding each other and out-scaling so they could 2v3 and no one could ever end.

: Playing LoL through USB Flash Drive?
It's theoretically possible but practically you may run into some problems. First off League requires about GB of space, so first you gotta make sure to get a flash drive that big (not too hard). You would have to install all of the system files on the drive. I would be concerned that even if everything works you may still end up with a lot of lag because it would be reading off of the splash drive instead of the hard drive. I'm not an end all expert though, that's just what I would expect.

: bug? not being able to click anything.
Same bug here, had it happen once when I entered the game lobby but **repeatedly when I clicked another summoner's champion portrait on the left side of the screen** and then closed it. I had to close the client to get rid of it.

: Preseason Q&A
What was the motivation behind the stat changes for {{item:3078}} ? I know you guys wanted to make crit chance a more attractive and acquirable stat this season, but I feel like the changes don't fit very well on {{item:3078}} . In the past it's usually been picked up by champs who really utilize all of the stats, especially the spellblade and speed bonuses, which are typically melee champions such as {{champion:24}}, {{champion:77}}, {{champion:41}}, even {{champion:157}} etc. Lowering the speed bonuses and AD bonuses make {{item:3078}} less attractive and adding extra crit chance generally isn't very desirable for these sorts of champs. On the other hand, marksman don't have much motivation to build it either due to the lowered AD and AS stats. The extra CDR isn't even that useful anymore because there are so many other better options for them to get CDR. When you add the fact that it is simply way less gold efficient than it was last previously, I can't imagine that we'll be seeing very many players purchasing {{item:3078}} in its current state. Any thing I missed? I was mostly very happy with the item changes this preseason, but this one confused me a lot. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter!

Bans are important. In the live version of Draft, the captain has the opportunity to use 3 bans to troll his teammates. Each ban used to "troll" allies means that some dangerous, high value champ is left on the table. The distribution of bans makes it so when you DO have someone trolling, their power is contained to a single ban. Also, you don't have to declare a champion intent if you don't want. Something I pitched to Lyte was having the 6 roles (Tank, Mage, Assassin, Fighter, Support, Marksman) available in the champion grid as an option instead of declaring a specific champion, so you could be like "We have a Fiddlesticks jungle and we have a Leona bot, I think I should play a fighter top to round out the comp, but I'm not sure which one." What do you guys think?

This sounds like a really good idea. I always go into a game with at least 5 or 6 champions in mind (2 or 3 champs for 2 or 3 different roles) that I am prepared to play, depending on what my team needs and depending on the enemy teams picks. Being able to choose specific champs still sounds useful though, especially for hardcore mains and the likes. The more flexibility the better in my opinion.
: Donating 2014 LCS fines to a good cause
I think it's awesome that Riot is donating the fine money to charity, and I have no problem with supporting the LGBTQ community with help like crisis and suicide prevention, but it seems a little bit weird to me that so much focus is put on that community. With less than 3% of the US identifying under that category, I feel like the money would be better used if given to an organization that helped EVERYONE, not just that 3%. It's not like they're the only ones who have depression problems or anything along those lines, and as a straight guy I feel like a lot of the time LGBTQ people get a lot more attention than everyone else to make up for not getting attention or support in the past, and that isn't really equality.

: Wait a god damn minute. You know why China and Korea do so much better? It's cause they play more. In the lcs, teams play 2 overhyped matches a week for a total of 18 best of ones. In china, edg plays 40 games a split. All in series. No wonder na and eu with some exceptions gets rocked, China and Korea just have way more competitive experience. Either we make the lcs like that or we keep on with the pretty presentation of a crappy product. We can't expect players to be conformable in competative situations coming from the lcs.
China also only has one phenomenal team, a few decent ones and a lot of teams who just muck around because they have so many games that they don't care.

: Preseason 2015 Q&A -- PART 2
I have a few questions regarding the changes to the new jungle, in particular for the items.. 1. Last year the spirit line was implemented which gave more junglers the sustain that they needed and some extra gold income so that they didn't get put far behind for ganking. Why were neither of these retained on a wide scale? 2. With the new jungle being a lot harder for most champions to clear, and with the lack of extra sustain given from the spirit items, why did you also choose to lengthen the respawn times of the small camps? It seems like it would be to encourage more ganking, but with the beefier jungle camps and the low sustain I often find myself too low to do anything to help a lane, and this ultimately ends up in me spending a lot more time going back to base. 3. If the jungle continues to be problematic for many champions, or if the fighters that were dominant last season are simply replaced by tank junglers being the most viable, would you guys consider re-implementing some devices for sustain and/or extra gold? Thanks!

No... I mean being able to choose how to build your jungler in different ways..

: Where is Our League Heading Towards - The Misplaced Direction of the Jungle
I agree with a lot of what you've got here... The new jungle has it's pros, it's got that *strategic diversity* to it... but it doesn't give the junglers what they need. I just made a post about what I think the bigger problems of the jungle are, check it out and upvote if you have a second so that others can see :) http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/wrLZeJcq-evolution-of-jungling
