Playing the role how it is intended to be played. 2. Playing with intentions to win and co-operating with your team. The only people who say off-meta picks are trolling are the people who are meta slaves. Playing off-meta and weird things is NOT report-able so don't feel forced into picking something just because a team mate doesn't agree with it. My team didn't like my Syndra jungle at first but at the end they were like "WTF you made it work..." http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2545164960/231627365?tab=overview It's not an exaggeration when I say that **anything** can work, as long as you know what you're doing Off meta picks are just like any other picks, sometimes they work, other times they don't. The problem is, whenever you don't dominate your lane, your team will almost always call you a troll and blame you for losing, which gets really frustrating. The main factor that makes off-meta picks viable, is that the enemy has no idea how to play against your playstyle. They usually end up underestimating you, so you end up snowballing hard. Always be willing to try off meta picks and builds. Of course, there will be times where the enemy completely destroys you because you have no idea what you are doing. Which is completely fine, as long as you are playing normals. Eventually, you will find something that consistently works well, and you can use it to be one step ahead of the meta. Keep doing what you are doing! Off-meta picks are what makes every game feel special, instead of feeling like you are just doing the same thing over and over again. Just make sure you never let your teammates decide what you do or don't do. (As long as you aren't intending to ruin their game, that is)

I assume these changes are aimed at weakening his early game while making his trades against AD champs worst. The problem is he is already super good against mages. I hope whenever his kit is reworked if you end up going through with that, that you will take into account that a big reason for banning Yasuo is how frustrating it is to play against him in lane (especially as ranged champions that can't outrage or out-sustain him), not necessarily his overall win rate, as that balances out late game

"I play games to have fun. If I don't find the match I'm playing fun anymore, I want that match to end as soon as possible." The point is I don't want the match to go on for another 40 minutes, leading up to an hour. If I'm not having fun while playing that match, I personally don't believe it's worth the time to play a match that long, even if I have a good chance of winning. EDIT: Fixed the format, made it a little easier to read and understand
: Well if you go for another 40 minutes after refusing to surrender, then most likely, you can get to full build. When you're all at full build, gold and kills and farm are then meaningless. All you have to do to win the game is win one team fight because the death timers are so high.
I play games to have fun. If I don't find the match I'm playing fun anymore (to the point where if you leave base, you die), I want that match to end as soon as possible. After all, what's the point of playing a game if you aren't having fun? I generally hate giving up, there was only one time in my life where I ever voted yes to a surrender vote before 20 minutes. However, when I'm 20 minutes in to a match, and the enemy team is 50 kills ahead, I'd rather just lose and move on then waste another 40 minutes in a match filled with toxic players because of the slim chance that I might win. At the end of the day, I'd rather go to sleep knowing I had 40 extra minutes to spend some time with my friends today, instead of knowing that now I have another win to go along with the other 600.

I used a similar argument before and I'll use it again. Autofill isn't a good way to get quality support players into our games either. The difference is this encourages you to play support, while autofill forces you to play support.

Missions are optional, which means that they shouldn't effect your gameplay at all if you don't care about them. My idea is that there is a reward if you play support, not a punishment if you don't.

However, the higher the rank, there is a less chance of throws due to slightly less mistakes. Yes there is a difference between bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond 5, diamond 3, diamond 1, etc. even if it isn't really obvious "Every game is winnable" seems like something you would say when smurfing in a much less competent MMR - like "every bronze 4 games should be winnable for a plat 2 player" as opposed to something like "every plat 2 game is winnable for a plat 2 player"

: Only marginally involved, but I have a thought about this. I have to preface it, however, by saying that I LOVE hextech crafting. The lure of free swag was the only reason I started playing pvp and is the only reason I do it at all. But I do have to say that I blame hextech crafting for part of what you're talking about. You get chests by earning an S, which requires and excellent kda, good cs, participation in objectives and such. For people who are more interested in the free chests than anything, their stats become the ONLY thing worth paying attention to. For these people, once it becomes obvious that their score isn't good enough for the S and a chest, they don't care about the game anymore. At all. I know people with this mindset. It boils down to... "Will I earn a chest for this performance?" If the answer is no, then the attitude becomes "why bother? Just surrender."

You can still get an S without an amazing K/D/A, simply by getting lots of CS, objectives, and dealing good damage. It's the same way you can get an S by getting a good K/D/A without getting lot's of CS or objectives. It's just that most people think it's easier to get a good score than to actually play the game properly.

: I don't think they've ever mentioned that they're adding that functionality, but it would be nice in some cases. And yeah, banning teammates' champs can be a dick move sometimes, but I personally don't have a problem with it if someone enters champ select with the sole intent of trolling. For example: I got into champ select yesterday and this guy wanted to play top Bard. I was upset because I had to waste my ban on banning his troll pick, so a voting system to kick players like that would be nice but I'm not sure if it'll happen in the near future. It could be difficult to implement and monitor for accuracy due to the chaotic nature of champ select.
I lost lane to an AD Bard in the top lane once. If you know what you're doing it's amazing how strong some picks can actually be.
