: They better bring back banner of command
no the get baron and protect your cannon minion with banner buff was so bad, we do not need that back
: Characters we hate and why
{{champion:145}} is my most hated to play against. Why I hate playing against her: this one moment where I was playing my main cait we saw their support start to roam mid so my support followed while the minions were just outside out turret (very few minions like 2-3 casters only) So Kasai flash W me then instantly ult behind me under my turret presses Q and autos me like 2 or 3 times and still gets out alive after eating 3-4 turret shots plus me hitting her. I had E on cd and i was like ok so she can dive me when i have 90+% hp solo with no minions and can kill me while we both were 1/0/0. To give her credit she did have rageblade fully stacked and {{item:3004}} {{item:3006}}. I did have flash but not heal and even if I did it wouldn't of made a difference.
: First thing I see is too much focus on kills not enough on farm. Your CS scores are SO LOW. Try aiming for 50+ CS every ten minutes. Also keep in mind escape routes. Just because you see a low health squishy DOES NOT mean go in. Make sure you can make it out after going in. A lot of your games your kills and deaths are about equal which tells me you are taking too many risks to get a kill. Focus on NOT DYING. Learn your kill zones, how much health you can remove at level 3, 6, and 11 and only all in when you KNOW they will die and you will live.
you should aim for 80 cs every 10 minutes but the rest of your post is correct
: Can I get help with improving?
as someone who went semi pro in another game (Counter strike) and had tryouts for pro teams I can give you the steps on how to improve. 1. Pick the role you want to play (Mid) 2. Learn how to CS properly 3. Learn wave management (when you should push, when you should freeze, slow push, etc) 4. Once you have them down I would pick 3-4 champions to main for counter matchups when needed Really Important steps 5. Practice with a purpose - dont say just win the game, start with like having really good CS, then add another objective of to ward more after you can do that consistently you add something like focus on not dieing more than 3 times a game, etc.) Eventually the first step of CS well will be natural, so will warding. This is why you can add tasks to your list over time as building blocks of the basics you need to do without thinking. I think my list had like 45-50 items on it by the end. With like the first 30 being basics of every game then the last 20 being more advanced things. 6. Analyze your games - Biggest thing for improving is analyzing each game you play and take notes on things you did well and things to improve on, Did you hit your objectives in step#5? Mechanics will come with time as you play more and more Slowly expand your champion pool 1 at a time. You cant learn 6 characters at once to the level you need to. Once you get to High plat/Low diamond (plat 2- Diamond 3) take a lesson not for 1 game but multiple games so they can see what you do over a little time. Don't give up and Practice practice practice. It took me about 10k hours to get to good then another 5k to get to semipro level.
: Sometimes you just don't get lucky with the algorithm. There's some randomness to it
The algorithm should be like what is your most played champ this season here is 2 skins for it. What is your 2nd most played champ this season? Here is 2 skins for them and so on until your shop is full because some people own all the skins for certain champs. I got 10 games played this season on 2 champs in my shop and the rest I haven't played this season. Are you going to buy a skin for a champ you don't play? Probably not Are you going to buy a skin for a champ you played 50 games on this season and is your 3rd most played champ? Much more likely
NoPaxt (NA)
: My Shop
this is what I don't get about the shop they just throw random crap in there. I got a teemo, a sona skin, and the rest are champs I don't play/haven't played all season. Couldn't give me any {{champion:51}} skins I own them all, that's fine. Also my 2nd most played champ this season {{champion:18}} I am missing her 1 skin of firefighter I would of bought in a second, should of gave me that but it didn't.
: ADC's already have a decent spot in the casual meta. They might not in professional play, but in terms of Solo-que, which is the majority of players, ADC's like Ashe and Caitlyn have a prominent position as strong, reliable picks.
they are fine now but will they be when we get these changes: -execute on elder (we already die to a stiff breeze) so it doesn't seem hard to trigger on an adc -more brushes to die from with lack of vision -less exp -support gets to build faster without having to buy support item -possible buff to lethality items even ex Team Liquid top analyst said on twitter (@OGKayys) Season 10 Role Strength order: 1. Mid Lane (large gap) 2. Support 3. Jungle 4. Top 5. AP/AD Bottom
: The Pre-season changes arent that bad.
unless your an ADC player where there is not 1 positive thing to benefit you

SMURFS and OTP cannot be fixed, at that point u are basically saying dont let them play the game. SPecially OTPs.. nobody should have a problem with OTPs at all. BUT They SHOULD make a mastery requirement to play champions in ranked... i.e Mastery 5 atleast. Removing duo is a great idea, it fixes the whole smurf problems. No more boosting, unless you give them your passwords which is very risky (I'm sure people with brains won't do this) and its easier to catch people that way. Mastery 5 is a not a very good idea, since league is all about counters, matchups and comps. maybe like mastery 2 or 3 so you know their skills atleast but for majority of the playerbase knows how to play all champs and its quite simple. They obviously won't do as great as their mains but it should be worth it since you get to hard counter opponents.
its also alot easier to catch account sharing if a player is say silver 4 mid main then all of a sudden a jungle kha with a 70%+ win rate you can ip trace the persons original account and get that banned as well.
: Yes adcs got shafted. Which is kinda of lame because i dont feel like jungle is getting nerfed hard enough, they should have shafted junglers not adcs, junglers have domianted the game for far too long.
Agreed as an ADC we are along for the ride for like the first 20 min and hope our team is even or ahead. Junglers got slightly nerfed and then mid, which is one of the strongest roles, gets a buff as a result of trying to buff top which makes no sense.
SirGank (NA)
: Iirc, the cloud drake is reducing ult cds on ability casts. That's the opposite of spear of shojin. And its not something you can control every game. Support item changes for me is great and all but my concern is the removal of the gold passive after the item is completed portion. The only real change that concerns me in regards to adc is the exp hit. I don't like how that sounds at all. If they just buffed solo lane exp, ok, but they want to buff solo lane exp and nerf duo lane just feels like a recipe for disaster. Imagine if we end up 3 to 4 levels down the solo laners. No matter how many items you have, you become chow. Especially will suck for supports who are generally always down.
I'm not sure about the gold generation either since supports rarely ever get full build. As for the EXP I am not sure why this is being done, I already hate it when a lvl 11 mid laner walks towards me when im lvl 9-10. Especially when they are like syndra or zed etc. If they happen to pick any sort of fight and you don't play super well you are almost instantly dead. Crit adc don't have much agency till about 20 min and with the average game time being less than 30 min already I don't see how this will help them and keep mages out of bot. Mages items make them spike so much harder with how good they are in comparison to AD items like {{item:3802}} vs {{item:1038}}

: There is an exact reason, did you even read my comment? There is noone who penalizes Garen or any other easy champions. Their kit makes them useless in high elo. The more potential a champion has for outplays the more it can find success in high elos. If a champion has no potential for outplays because it doesn't rely on skills then it will suck in high elo because everyone knows how to counter it and because it has no skill based movement it cannot surprise and outplay its opponent. Like I said 1+1=2. The only way to make a champion like Garen strong in high elo is overbuffing his stats, however, it makes him unbalanced asf since every single player can play him the exact same level there. If you want Garen to be viable at high elo then ask Riot to make him less noobproof, give him skillshots, etc. Then he can match other skill based champions... though his pick rate and win rate would fall in every low elo and I bet suddenly less player would find him appealing to play.
The kit doesn't make a difference at all. A champion can have an simple kit and be viable in high elo. They only become strong in high elo when the stats are over tuned but that goes the same for any champ regardless of their kit. You are missing the main point that viable does not equal strong. A champ with a simple kit is still different at high elos because of the players in high elo with their playstyles. Some people play passive, some aggressive and some a combo of both. What they do is more telegraphed yes but it won't matter because the champ has just as good as a chance of winning because they are viable.
: Why? They get 0 turrets in the jg so its just a farm loop. You likely voted yes on that poll because you have quite a bit of neandrathal dna in you. From an actual yi mains perspective the guinsoos nerf is fine but his stats getting dropped like that is just insane. Come back when they finish extracting enough dna from you to make a real neandrathal.
I explained it to you when I said junglers are playing a PvE game. They have the ability to 2v1 a lane and having a person come into your lane from the PvE area ahead of your laner in levels or equal to them just seems like it is too much influence for the enemy laner to completely overcome without the chance of an outplay. This is similar to the reason jungle EXP was nerfed in the first place. This was very common to have power farming junglers who hit lvl 6 before mid/top and soon as they hit 6 go gank and it was a guarenteed kill unless the laner had flash since they were still lvl 5. Also I didn't vote in your poll since I do not have enough Yi experience and your immediate run to name calling just proves you don't make any good arguments.
: buff jungle xp, blue-wolves-gromp dont give you lvl 3 and take a bit to clear/Yi feedback :C
From a design standpoint I don't think junglers should be equal to laners in EXP since they are playing a PvE game with the exception of bot lane since there are 2 people there. I think they should be slightly behind (2 lvls at the absolute max) and be more or less a supporting character to assist in getting a kill on the gank lane.

Every champion should be viable at high elo Hell no! A braindead champion like Garen cannot be a top tier champion both in low and high elo unless Riot makes him broken since there is nothing in his kit that needs any skills, nothing that makes a difference between a good and a bad Garen player. There is no penality, it is simply 1+1=2. Skill based champions are hard(er) to learn, it takes time and skills to master. It means they struggle in low elo while the player is learning, however, once he can utilize the champion's potential he automaticly overcomes the 0 potential champions as Garen (unless he is overbuffed). That is the reward for his effort. Picking an easy champion is rewarding in low elo, picking a skill based champion is rewarding in high elo. That is the trade-off. That is the skill what makes the difference among players. League is a competitive game after all, players want to contest their skills against the other.
low elo does not matter since that is more on the player than the champion, but there is no reason a champion shouldn't be viable in high elo. You can't penalize a champion to be viable in high elo just cause they are "easy" its not a tradeoff. People like certain champions and if you made all the "easy" champions not viable in high elo you are pissing off part of your player base because of bias. Riot makes easy champions and hard champions but its up to the player to pick what they like to play. Its also riots job to make sure all champions are viable in high elo and not be a free loss because they picked an "easy" champion in high elo.
8Belthazor8 (EUNE)
: >low elo , and high elo should find how to play vs garen ,rather than complain Or you should learn to play a champion that actually needs some skills, rather than expecting Riot to overbuff Garen so hard that he can shit on high elo despite being the most braindead easy champion in the game. Saying to high elo players that "they should learn to play instead of complaining" is quite laughable.
there shouldn't be a penalty for how "easy" or "hard" a champion. Every champion should be viable at high elo
: I've been preaching since her release that she's busted. I ban her every chance I get. She's incredibly unfun and frustrating to play against. I just don't know how they could nerf her since every single one of her abilities is overloaded and would likely shift her balanced terribly if something got removed, otherwise she's going to be in a limbo of too strong, too weak. Riot needs to stop overloading champions and give them meaningful weaknesses like they used to.
omg this so much, I have no clue what half the champions weaknesses are in the game anymore because they just seem good at everything all the time, for a few examples {{champion:84}} {{champion:80}} {{champion:350}} I wish they made clear weaknesses like {{champion:51}} midgame or {{champion:18}} early game or {{champion:67}} lack of range.
Neriticc (EUW)
: Tristana picked in 3 lanes at worlds, won't get nerfed because ADC champion
the changes to tristana this year were so minor that I don't see how its adc bias, this is all from patch 9.13 1. they only thing they did was give her 10 damage on W, which is used more for repositioning than the actual damage so very minor touch 2. AD growth from 3.11 to 3.3, thats 3.42 extra AD at lvl 18 - again thats such a minor buff. Every 5 levels you are getting 1AD how does that make her OP? 3/4 Both mana things of making the numbers round the prior time she was touched was 8.13 so I don't see how its ADC bias since as an ADC she was one of the worst this year. It seems to me like its more matchup abuse for being a counterpick than her actually being a good ADC since she averaged ~13th best ADC most of the year.
: machine gun caitlyn, 4 headshots in under 1 second
except to do that in a real game is extremely hard, saber is the best person at it that i've seen on stream in live matches and he gets it maybe 1 or 2 times per game if he gets them at all. The problem with machine gun cait combo is you have to hit a trap and then E them while still being inside her base auto attack range after your E moves you away. Otherwise it doesn't work as shown.
: I play League since season 1 and none of those are a reason for me to quit. 1. I much prefer current damage over the scenario in the video. A carry without any defensive items shouldn't be able to get hit by everything and still survive getting ganked by a fed assassin. 2. Being useless in early or in late game just isn't that fun. Even with the recent Kayle rework, her strength has been flattened after complaints that she's too bad early and too good late. 3. Can't really comment on this one since I usually play fill and only normal games.

I can't really say since I feel like every champ is pretty decent at most parts of the game but I know the complaints of kayle players with how bad early and how god she was late.
: low sample size a very high % of the player base came to the game by the end of season 3 so the majority are playing for well over 5 years people that quit after 1 year of playing usually don't come back as the game is not for them or stopped playing games all together it has nothing to do with how the game has evolved it has everything to do with personal preference of how one decides to spend their free time Also towards your damage argument He didn't hit everything he missed 1 Q and 1 e and didn't hit his passive and then proceeded to auto attack an irelia to death https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmPzv-8aTPM stop cherry picking examples to suit your arguments stop looking through your rose tinted glasses to base your argument upon and you will have much better time enjoying the game
of course its a low sample size its my 3 friends that came over my house, but they all moved to dota 2 when they play games now. 2 of the 3 people have 20-30 hours in the last 2 weeks of dota 2 according to steam. So its not that they aren't playing mobas or games they just don't like the direction of league at all. I enjoy the game otherwise I wouldn't have over 600 games this season. Im just giving the reasons that they gave me of why they don't want to play anymore

: >Why the game feels worse? because you read boards and learnt that instead of just playing the game you should just call everything overpowered lol
go watch videos from 2013 era of league where a fed zed that was 9/1/1 with 300+ cs at 28 minutes in game can't kill an ADC (also 4 levels advantage and hitting everything), I wish I got into league back then so compared to now yes everything is overpowered. : Give Twitch +X base AD (the missing amount to CS under turret level 1), and fix his expunge bug.
why would you want to buff a champ that has been sitting at ~52% win rate? hes plenty strong as is and been a top 5 adc for almost all season as for the bug fix i agree that should be fixed
: How is feeding actually defined? How do you get a player punished for it?
they need to define this because i've had people with more deaths than minutes in the game and they were not banned for intentionally feeding so what do they consider intentionally feeding
: Nice Quality Of Life Changes.
another really easy thing that they could do on abilities is tell you the max damage before armor/mr. Example: is 75+(83) is how it currently shows make it say =75+(83)=158 I know you can't do this on abilities that do % hp damage or things like that but some are just too hard to figure out on the fly like tristana E. What is weird you do this for twitch E by telling you the damage with max stacks but not other abilities and I don't have time to sit there with a calculator to figure it out while in a game.
Lapis (OCE)
: What's more fun to you? Playing lots of champs, or just one?
give me {{champion:51}} since 86% of my games have been on her this season. I just like playing her as it feels natural for me since her play-style is exactly how I play almost every other game. Long range kite you out rain damage from a big distance away.

you really think cheaters are sitting in gold/plat elo? They are more common when you get to high diamond+. I've come across 1 this year so far that I can definitely say was cheating (84% win rate on the account in less than 30 games). I went back and watched the demo of the game because we got s*** on hard and it wasn't till I watched the demo in slow motion that I realized he was cheating. In a 26 minute game he(vayne) got hit with 2 skill shots all game (none in lane). We had a cait(me)/brand for lane. I don't care who you are no one is that good at dodging. I think I may have come across 1 more this year but I am not sure. If you have no idea what to even look for its really hard to tell if a person is cheating or not. Cheats are so hard to detect depending on what they do. You could have a map hack and just see no fog of war, you have any idea how hard that is to detect? You can have delay reactions to make it look real like enemy launches a skill shot and the cheat wont react for .2 seconds before it dodges. Again its so hard to tell, look how advanced some LAN cheats are in CSGO you think some people aren't using equivalent in LOL you are delusional. edit: FYI I think that less than 1% of players in this game are cheaters so I don't go losing a game and go instantly cheater.
Pyrosan (NA)
: riot's generally very good at detecting cheating or anything along the lines so even if they are scripting they usually get banned within 10 games of it being active as much as it does suck that ppl go out of their way to do it lol you can record any footage of scripting and send it to the support team for eval or msg them over twitter

also the beginning of the season had massive LP gains where people got boosted just by playing games. My friend who was silver 3 player last season after 500+ games got to diamond 2 or 3 when it was messed up. He is still currently in plat 1 or 2. Riot screwed up ranked in multiple ways this season then after realizing they made mistakes just threw in the towel and said it will sort itself out. The problem is that it didn't and people are all over the ladder where they should not be.

It completely was unfun with minimal counterplay. They had the most basic strategy of have xer spam until he hits one of us twice. Then syndra would walk up to stun & ult and we would die. {{item:3802}} item needs a hard nerf since it is so good compared to the AD counterpart. 40AP, 300 mana (goodbye mana issues), CDR, and restore mana on leveling up and all I can get is 40AD for the same exact cost with {{item:1038}} . How am I supposed to keep pace with them when their first item is {{item:3285}} at 3200 gold that solves their mana problems, gives big damage, waveclear, CDR vs my first item {{item:3031}} at 3400 with a 25% chance to do more damage. I know I can auto attack more but I can't really do it without attack speed.

: Well how, would you suppose they change it? I don't like it either but I want to see how you would change it to be better
they should of done a hard reset when we had the problem early in the season where people were gaining massive LP per win. My friend who played that time was silver 2 last year after 500 games or so is now plat 2. He got to diamond 3 and has been slowly deranking all season because he only plays enough not to decay. The rest of the games he plays is norms to try and get better to match his rank. Everyday I see players who have less than 100 games on their account because they are only playing enough to not decay. You can easily in the background search for players who have more than 100 games played this season to be played with others that have over 100 games as those are the people grinding and not just playing for decay. If you cant find someone within a reasonable amount of time who has 100 games then you can pick someone below. edit: you can make the number be like 150 or 200 or 250 etc
SmashinBob (EUNE)
: That is barely a lineup compared to other roles, also draven u have to be otp, jhin no, the only adc that is actually overpowered would be kaisa imo. Also I mained jinx last season and season before that, she is absolutely the same, there was 0 buffs on her the last 2 years. To be honest the only reason she is meta is because they didnt gut her like the rest and she fits fine in current meta, where she can clear up squishies and stay out of range of bruisers, since tanks and control mages are obsolete, there isnt much except all those assasin picks every game to worry about.
she got buffs in 9.1 and again in 8.13 after every adc got nerfed in 8.11 so saying she got no buffs is just wrong
: Can you take some of the cait/jhin buffs back?
so what about jinx then? she has had a higher win rate and a higher pick rate than both jhin and cait. Cait shot up to a 53.4% win rate right after these buffs were released from 50.1% win rate at the end of last patch cycle. Her win rate has been falling every day to where it is now at 51.17%. Her history with with how the first +2 AD buff went it raised her win rate by .7%. If history is consistent she will still fall in win rate to about a 50.8%. At her current win rate shes not even a top 5 win rate ADC. The top 5 ADC by winrate are Jinx(52.97%), Ashe(52.22%), Jhin(51.97%), MF(51.84%), and Twitch (51.65%). So why is cait a problem but not jinx? Better win rate and better pick rate. Jinx only in the last few patches only got a higher ban rate.

When you decide to give me a reason you can come and reply to me ok?
I would start with the average age of players for league is mid 20's which does have some maturity in comparison to COD where it is still in the teens. Or do you want to go into the different genres of games and how their communities have evolved with voicechat?

Never, each gaming community is different and you cannot say that the minecraft community is the same as the COD or the LOL. If you don't like it mute them and you have the same game you have right now. "you cannot say the same for X" tell me why? give me a reason why league is going to be any different from any other game with voice chat? it's a team game? so are many of the games that have voice chat and voice chat doesn't help at all in those games. Implement something that most people will not get into which would make the entire aspect of "makes teamplay easier" be completely useless and pointless... cool I guess! the team with the less muted players wins!
why is a ferrari not the same as a honda? they both still are cars. You cannot compare apples to oranges just as you cannot compare one gaming community to another in terms of how they are going to use this feature.

It has never been attempted so how do you know look at every single online game with voice chat. "it's never been attempted" like what? what planet are you from that it's "never been attempted before"? you don't even have to worry just about toxic players, but also about people who have horrible mics, live in noisy areas/households, people who tend to play music while they play... at obnoxious volumes.
When has league ever had a built in voice chat for solo q? Never, each gaming community is different and you cannot say that the minecraft community is the same as the COD or the LOL. If you don't like it mute them and you have the same game you have right now.

: > I don't know if it will end it but hopefully will make toxicity more scarce, that is why I want to try it. If it doesn't work take it back out. You don't even want it added even though it might help. Because again, logic and common sense. > The rest of your post is just garbage because if someone wants to flame or rage all game, you have the same ability to make your game better by muting them for voice and text. Except the only problem is that with voice chat they wouldn't be held accountable for anything, which is specifically why I said **"so we give someone the ability to flame and rage all game... and remove their ability to be punished for it."** I personally don't get tilted or upset by people, but I still want them to follow the rules, be held accountable, and be decent people. > Its not riots job to insta-ban someone because they are raging at you in game. Mute them and move on. Uh, yes? It literally _is_ their job to punish rulebreakers. ????
You are missing the base argument that you don't know till you try. We have no proof that it works or doesn't work. We have seen the results of not having it in for years. Has toxicity gone down with all of Riots bans? No. Do we know if they will implement a report function that will not allow you to use your mic if you are reported enough? No. Could there be another way to police it? Sure. You are shooting down something that could possibly enhance player experience without a chance because "logic and common sense" Its like eating a new food for the first time. You are saying you don't like it before even giving it a taste.

: > Again logic are not facts. You are making a decision on feelings not facts. You can't prove the community will be more toxic with voice chat when we have never had it. Please explain to me why you think voice chat will put an end to toxicity. It's _**logic and common sense.**_ As much as you want to say that it's just my "feelings", it's not. If you give someone the ability to break the rules without punishment, they will abuse it. >It is widely agreed upon based on numerous surveys (proof) that we have the most toxic gaming community. Maybe voice chat will actually lessen the toxicity, which is why a lot of players at least want to try it added. _That doesn't make any sense._ It's the same as me saying "Maybe if we remove all the laws from society, we won't have any murder/assault/theft!" A lack of rules means _more_ people are going to break said rules. That's how people work. >I agree that they will have no way to monitor it but they also make a mute button to give you the same exact game you have now. Oh good, so we give someone the ability to flame and rage all game... and remove their ability to be punished for it. That will _totally_ lessen toxicity.

: > proof it will get worse? Because.. logic? Voice-based toxicity is virtually undetectable as it requires a manual review, something Riot can't keep up with as evidenced by the state of the game before the IFS. People know they won't get punished for it, therefore they **will** abuse it. >It has never been attempted so how do you know You think the community is instantly going to change their ways because of voice chat being added? No, that won't happen. OP cited CS:GO in their post which has plenty of flamers on it's voice chat. Then there's TF2, Battlefield, Overwatch, Call of Duty... Video game communities abuse the hell out of voice chat because they almost never get punished. It's common sense.

: >also if everyone's worried about toxic people, players tend to be more toxic in chat rather than speaking directly towards someone so the game WILL at least have as much or most likely less people to be toxic in voice chat. ....no? It's pretty much the exact opposite my man. If voice chat were implemented, people would be _more_ toxic there since it's nigh-impossible for a system to detect what someone is saying.
proof it will get worse? It has never been attempted so how do you know
: voice chat implementation
as much as I think voice will be a good thing for this game, for some reason the community hates this idea and say it will only get worse when there is no proof since it was never attempted outside of 3rd party apps
