: Riot went too far with Fiora
I'm personally glad they nerfed fiora. She was the most cancerous champ in the game for a while, along with tank yi of course. Having her in the game at her prior state wasn't fun at all for everyone involved, except the fiora player. Having a 90% winrate in pro play was an obvious indicator that she was beyond broken. Now that she as freelo as before, only the good fioras will do well. Not like before where you just got to faceroll an emey team with no consequences and an overloaded kit. Thank you rito for the nerfs <3 They were well deserved.

Was he playing gp by any chance? I've seen it on gp, just not any other champs.
: Seriously, cut the crap riot, fix yi
Master yi is balanced, he outplayed you. At least that's what everyone on boards want's me to think. He outskilled you obviously and you need to carry harder.
: You lost because you kept losing teamfights where it's no surprise that your team lost. Your team has no front line and are against a team with hard engage, two of your champion are anti-mage carries when all the damage threats on the enemy team are physical, your ADC couldn't even get 200CS in nearly 40 minutes, and a jungler has more CS than everyone on your team except for a _freaking top lane Galio_. > [{quoted}](name=StickyOctopus,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=JBds3Ek6,comment-id=00030000,timestamp=2016-03-11T05:59:56.802+0000) > > It's something you'd have to see to understand. We were up in gold until 32 minutes, it was a 38 minute game. Believe me, no other champion in the entire game would have won against us. Only tank yi. I can see it. I'll walk you through it. Your team was ahead early by a bit in the first half the match, pretty good for you. At 19 minutes your team evens dragon count and gets a takedown on Lucian. Then there was a team fight and it was a **huge** victory for your team. But the thing is... Your team threw. I don't know what you all did, but your team threw minutes later. You all got into another team fight, both sides lost players but _your_ side is the one who got aced. They got a bunch of gold and shutdowns But this is fine. You still had a large objective lead and gold advantage and command of the map and you were still in position to win that match. But your team didn't do anything with that advantage. Nothing. Galio did get an open inhibitor, but even with an inhib down, your team didn't get even one more turret. What your team did was nothing to close out the game that was in favor to win. What your team **did** do was throw. For the next twelve minutes, all your team did was get picked over and over. Veigar got picked. Ez got picked. You and Ez got got. Morg got picked. Galio got picked. Veigar and You got picked. Those time only consisted of your team bleeding out their _entire _ gold advantage while the enemy team was the one taking the objectives. Then, your team threw for a THIRD time, by giving up Baron. Did your team even contest it? Because no one on their team got taken out for it. They took out more objectives and finally, because their team was the one playing objectives and getting global gold they were ahead and we get to that scene you described at the end ...where it's no surprise that your team lost, your team is behind, has no front line and are against a team with hard engage, two of your champion are anti-mage carries when all the damage threats on the enemy team are physical, your ADC couldn't even get 200CS in nearly 40 minutes, and the enemy **_jungler_** has more CS than everyone on your team except for a _freaking top lane Galio_. go back in my match history 17 days if you truly want to see, we were 10k gold down, I was feeding, got quadras and won. I didn't even realize until now, but I've only played 3 yi games in ranked, I don't even play the champion, and I'm at a 100% winrate. 3 out of 3. Guess my mechanics are god tier and I need to play more yi, since it's so difficult to do. I surprise myself sometimes. I didn't know I had complete mastery of leagues hardest champion. Might as well spam it to climb because I can't lose on it.

Just wish you could've seen how he survived in the last teamfight that ended the game. If you saw it, you'd be 100% on my side and you'd agree that I was cheated out of the game. But since you can only look at number and stats, you're going to keep defending the most busted shit in the game. It's the nature of boards, someone always has to defend riots balance and broken champions even when it's to the point of being game breakingly overpowered. I guess I'll run my replay software 100% of the time now, because if I had that shit running, it would've been top clip on reddit with thousands of upvotes and everyone unanimously agreeing that what happened should not be allowed in the game. But since that isn't the case, I guess I'm bad at league and deserved to get 1v9 facerolled by the tankiest/highest dps champ in the game and deserved the loss entirely. Thanks for making me see it dude. Yi totally outplayed me and my entire team by rightclicking and becoming untargetable dodging everything and surviving my entire teams burst, It was my fault entirely man. I deserved to lose simply because I got outplayed dude by the nature of the extreme skill that is tank master yi. He owned me with his master mechanics , only obtained by spending 100's of hours perfecting the craft of pressing q and rightclicking with a bullshit build that shouldn't exist. He deserves challenger for the level of play that he plays at, no one could even come close to facerolling easilly with such a difficult champion. I wish I could play master yi man. Oh wait I can, it's the easiest shit in the game. I played it twice with one of my duos. In one game, I was feeding 1-4, my team was down 14-5 or some shit, we were down by so much in every aspect. Everyone on my team was saying that this game was unwinnable, trying to ff. But guess what, I got sated and guinsoos and proceeded to quadra kill the fed enemy team with no effort on my part and win the game. I played it again, same thing. I felt as though it was the freest wins of my life and almost felt dirty after playing it. I'll dig back in my stats and see if I can find that game for ya, let you analyze those stats yo. Maybe I can even get the replay so you can tell me how much I outplayed the enemy team and praise my mechanics.
: Have you played in gold or above gold to be making such a statement? Also, there is no reason why anyone should be going 0-5 by the end of lane phase, this can't be happening every game in whatever mmr bracket your in.
First ranked game of the day I had to lane with a 1-15 support ekko, happens quite a bit.

What's your issue with that lol. Not seeing the problem here.

: A Yi saying he is only good at low elo? Most bronze shit i ever heard! Can I have his name? I really want to talk shit to that stuck up trash.
I'd give it to you but that's probably violating some sort of rule, the funniest part is that this was a high silver/low gold game because I was duoing.
: The champion who had 5K+ gold advantage and multiple levels over every single person on your team did a lot of damage, could fight anyone and one shot people? That's not surprising for any offensive champion. That's not surprising _in the least._ You only had two damage items finished while he was **full build**! Of course he killed you!
Two quadras+multiple towers is 5k gold. Believe me, he was not ahead by any means.

: Him, Xin, Jax, and Lux. It's awful. I was playing a game against Lux. I'm at full health. She uses her Q. HER Q. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A STUN. It dealt over 700 damage! And then I was stunned for like 12 years. Where the hell is the logic in that????!!!!! I'm very pissed on that, and don't even get me started on Yi, Jax, and Xin. All their tower-dives. AAAGHH! @Riot seriously please help! What is your underlying logic behind this insanity??!!
at least lux dies when she get's cc'ed.
: Currently they have a change on PBE changing the AD ratio on his E to bonus AD from total AD (and some other number things, but that's the main one)
I wouldn't have an issue with yi pentaing my team if he was actually squishy. If he could be blown up like any adc, his damage would be fine. It becomes not okay when he does that with 4000 health. I guess I have a new ban now.
: I haven't had a problem with yi until now.
I wish I had my replay software running, you guys and reddit would've loved to see it. Would've been #lcsbigplays for sure with that level of outplaying he did.

: People who AFK in ranked matches.
I just lost my series and 36 lp even though I won a game I dc'ed in like 6 minutes before the game ended. We won. "fair"
: Goes 1/2 "Wins lane"
Mfw I was 1/1 had just taken tower then lagged out and died. So you're telling me if you were in a game that you were going to win, and lag out for a few minutes only to come back and see that it had ended and you won, finding out the series failed and -36 lp had been subtracted that you'd be okay with that? so you'd go, "I deserved to fail my series and lose half my lp even though we won." The answer is, no you would not. Not a single league player in the game would think they deserved a loss for winning. Not one.
: If it was two minutes after then you'd have the win. The game has to end in 5 minutes or less
Either way my team won, I won my lane, we won the game. It shouldn't matter if my internet shits out. I won. It shows as a win in my match history. Lolololol rito subtracting lp for wins and people defending it, classic league community.
: No matter which way you spin it you still left the game You deserve the loss
I deserve a loss for a game that I dc'ed in because my internet provider sucks? They literally surrendered two minutes after I left we had already won the game before my internet went out. If you think someone deserves a loss for winning a game you're delusional.

: Cause at the end of the day ranked placements depend pretty much only on a) how well you did and b) who you were playing against. Changing the queue in no way affects their ability to measure that.
some players got the opportunity to play as 5 and stomp kids while now that opportunity is not available. Why does everyone blindly defend riot when their game is clearly messed up?

: Heaven forbid you log in to a game at home and it feels casual. EDIT: To actually answer your question: Maybe they do specialize, but watch high master / challenger streamers, and even when they play off roles, its not like they all of a sudden can't play well, they just have a role they prefer over others. TBH if you can only play one role at a given level, you do not deserve to be that level. A player only deserves to be the rank they can maintain at any of the 5 roles. What you are suggesting is like people trying to get to the highest levels of tennis competition with only a backhand swing, or only ever being the server. Alternatively, it is like trying to be an NBA player, but not playing defense. Yes, Blake Griffin may be famous for "specializing" in offensive post-play and dunks, but he is also an NBA Starter level defender and ball handler and passer, and has a decent mid-range jumpshot. Similarly, WingsofDeathx might "specialize" in solo-lane play (often times top), but he also earns his rank in botlane and the jungle, putting up at least decent games on any role he winds up on.
The game can be as casual as it wants. But ranked mode is something that most players take seriously thus making it not have a casual nature.
: Maybe by just being good at the game and having the ability to at least not be a hinderance in any role?
Yes but if at the highest level, players specialize, why shouldn't anyone trying to play ranked do the same? It feels more casual now.
Serevas (NA)
: I would argue the exact same problem existed with the previous champion select.
I could say "adc pref" in the old chat and get it almost every game, even If i'm last pick. Now that can't happen.
Serevas (NA)
: I think it's supposed to be a guide, and hopefully people won't be dicks about it. High elo, I think a lot of what will happen is people may opt to override so that say doublelift can have ADC instead.
Yes, that's how it would go once they get there. Of course they'd give doublelift adc where everyone knows who he is. But the issue would be the climb there. How does he get there if he's forced onto another role half the time. He doesn't play support at a competitive challenger level, to my knowledge. How do these players reach the level they should be at if they can't play the roles to get them there.

: Why are all the trolls, afkers, noobs, people with bad connection, feeders in my team ?
I don't know man, I literally played a game where my lee didn't take smite and our lux dc'ed for 15 minutes. Did all I could, had lcs level farm, 5k more gold than everyone in the game, the most kills, the most towers taken, most damage dealt and my team still finds a way to lose. I wish you could 1v9 if you were good enough. I hate that you can outperform everyone in the game by a huge margin and still lose because your team is garbage.
Rocky2 (NA)
: Miss Fortune is my main ADC. I have gone against her many times and her ult is very balanced. Simply get out of the narrow cone, or disrupt her, as she has to remain in place for 3 seconds.
No idea what you're talking about man, the cone is as wide as the lane.
Aezanthya (EUW)
: Vayne takes no skill to play but ok. Maybe stop playing the same fotm champ against mf ? :') Just food for thought :') :') :') :') :') :')
If vayne takes no skill to play, then no other champion in the game takes skill to play. Vayne is one of the most mechanically intensive champions in the game. Vayne is easy to play but not to master.
: I see posts like this a lot and I main adc, but i personally do no think it's broken. Yes it does deal a shit ton of aoe damage it's pretty ridiculous. At the same time her base AD is stupid low. Most champs can interrupt her ult pretty easily and then she becomes quite useless compared to most other adc champs because her damage output just isn't there. A malph ult, a xin E, a tristana R, a vayne E, any good supp should be able to silence or cc her as well as a lot of tanks and most mid's. So to say that her ult is broken is wrong. The fact that you are getting shut down my her ult falls on you and your team for not handling her with cc or some sort of silence or stun.
I play trist and vayne into mf every time. she's easy to beat in lane but if you don't shut her out hard she still does mindblowing damage from one ult in a team fight. If miss fortune has anyone on her team who has lockdown or better yet multiple champions with lockdown it's gg. No counterplay. Sejuani ult's 4 people, mf ults them, that fight is autowon every time. If she stays in the backline as an adc should she'll always be able to pick up free ulti kills even if she loses lane. She has the kit to get fed and win every single fight even if she loses in lane.
Rozair (NA)
: Umm not really. She benefits from being further away and she moves wicked fast. Her slow is also rediculous if you combo her slow and her ult you won't be able to escape
Exactly this, mf has the option of maxing e first instead of q. She'd only have to throw an e down and then ult for a guaranteed kill every time.
