If you buy Redemption WHILE ALIVE, it will have no cooldown and can be used immediately. If you USE Redemption, Sell and then Re-Buy, it will be on cooldown for the remaining cooldown.

You forgot about my favorite Rune, Arcane Comet. :D Arcane Comet : 700AP: 1315 Damage (If the Comet hits) Ult: 550 Base + (75% AP) 525 + (100 Base +(0.2AP)Comet) 100+140 = 1315 It is all very comparable which I think is fine, meaning you can interchange your rune setup depending on your matchup. I don't think there will ever be a "best" rune.. But i hope Karthus does NOT get nerfed because of this Dark Harvest BS.. Dark Harvest is a Great rune vs squishy targets as Karthus. Predator grants you Great mobility to return to lane (Vlad lol) or roam to help other lanes. Comet is a Great scaling rune which I love to play into Yasuo (When you have Luden's Echo it gets super annoying to lane against, as Yasuo will never have his passive sheild up and cannot all- in you or he will die to your E) -Also, when you are using your Karthus E in teamfights, Arcane Comet will reset every 5-10 Seconds depending on how many people are in your AoE as well as being hit by your Q.

I play weird, so I will probably get flamed for telling you this :D I play a lot of "off meta picks" {{champion:22}} {{champion:427}} {{champion:30}} {{champion:111}} as well, so I can understand how you feel, but I also like to play regular picks with "off meta runes". *(Glacial Augment is the best rune ever!)* I love playing Ashe right now as a lane bully. Wait what? With the new runes, you can find some pretty fun options, my favorite being: Primary Sorcery: Arcane Comet Manaflow Band Celerity Gathering Storm Inspiration Secondary: Approach Velocity (ALWAYS) -The last rune can be changed according to your playstyle, as everything in Inspiration Tree can be viable. Magical Footwear** Perfect Timing** Biscuit Delivery** **Note: I generally switch between these 3 as I play a lot of Blind Pick. But always take Approach Velocity. The purpose behind this build is that in Early Laning you can punish with W (Volley)+ Autoattacks. The Slow provided from W (Volley) will guarantee Arcane Comet hits as well as: (Approach Velocity) Gain +15% Movement speed towards an Enemy Champion you Slow. (Celerity) Increase AD based on your Bonus Movement Speed. This will help you land an those extra Auto Attacks. In Team Fights you will always have a huge AD Bonus from spamming Volleys and landing Auto Attacks. I generally build Blade of the Ruined King -> Runnan's Hurricane -> Infinity Edge But each game is different so naturally it can change. Going back with 1300g and buying a BF Sword can bring you a huge advantage in damage early, transitioning into an early Runnan's can bring mid game power spikes in teamfights and good waveclear. I really enjoy playing {{champion:412}} with Inspiriation Primary: Glacial Augment, Hexflash, Minion Dematerializer, Approach Velocity Resolve Secondary: Bone Plating (or Font of Life), Second Wind {{item:3401}} {{item:3117}} {{item:3107}} {{item:3800}} {{item:3190}} {{item:3512}} / {{item:3143}} This is one of my favorite builds, it doesn't offer as much survivability as Aftershock build, but this fits my personal playstyle. Glacial Augment is one of my favorite runes because of the utility and synergy with slowing active items. Glacial Augment is not the best laning phase rune, but since it is very uncommon, a lot of players won't expect to be slowed for 2s and all of a sudden killed by your ADC. Font of Life is not great until laning phase is over as well, if you are able to engage a good fight mid- game, your ADC and jungler can follow up and be sustained throughout the fight.
: Luckily he's not based around damage. His passive isn't damage, his q has a hook on it, his w is stealth and mobility, his e is mobility and a stun, and his ult gives gold and mobility. Numbers too high= auto win, obviously if he does too much damage he'll win lane. However, he still has a ton of things to offer even if he doesn't do much damage. This is offset by him not quite having a good gold generation item
Relic sheild is a good pick on him because of his passive: "Pyke also converts his bonus health into bonus attack damage instead." As a melee champ relic will give him sustain in lane as well as relic line giving him bonus ad. then you can further build Hp/Defensive items to gain AD and defensive stats.{{item:3302}} {{item:3158}} {{item:3109}}{{item:3193}} {{item:3190}} {{item:3800}} /{{item:3060}} this is how I think I would play him. We won't really know a good build until all the numbers on his spells are out however.

Mordekaiser pets feel super bad right now with this same problem. I have noticed.. When AI does not respond to ATTACK COMMANDS I simply have to input a MOVEMENT COMMAND (R+Rightclick the ground). After the movement command, you can freely attack anything you want. just for some reason it bugs if you do not try to click the ground or move the pet. Mordekaiser R Dragon and R Champs work well if you can orb walk them like an ADC.
: I would say that if changing him to be classed as melee would cause issue with those items, possibly lower his base AD as a sacrifice in the name of balance. That being said, I didn't even think of it from this angle but can see how that would create some problems.

Fizz is fun to play, deals tons of damage and if a major annoyance late game. If the enemy team has an immobile ADC you pretty much win the game (As long as you can hit R).
: Why is Rakan classified as ranged?
Rakan has the second highest Base AD (70) in the game (tied with Aatrox (70), behind Kalista (71)). I think it is so he cannot be built bruiser, because he would scale very well with {{item:3748}} and {{item:3053}} . I know he has no ability scaling with AD, but neither does Shen. I have played a lot of Rakan and like to play Top- Lane Tank and he is very good on 3v3 map as a Tank or AP- Tank Hybrid, but I think he would be too OP with a "melee" attack, both as a Bruiser and Support.

Keystone Idea: Kiss/ Curse; Kiss: Increase Mana Regeneration % based on missing mana %. Curse: Reduce Attack Damage/ Ability Power % based on missing mana %. I think this could be an interesting idea for artillery champions {{champion:101}} {{champion:110}} {{champion:161}} and supports that spam spells ({{champion:37}} {{champion:16}} Almost like an infinite mana pool, but you only do maximum damage/ healing at maximum mana.
: State of the Season: Preseason Progress
I think you are doing a great job riot. Thank you for all of the hard work you put in to keep us "hardcores" in check. I really love all of the balance changes you are doing to make all champions viable. I have played tier 2 and 3 champions for 5 seasons now, and the preseason changes have become my favorite. I played champions like {{champion:90}} {{champion:78}} {{champion:43}} {{champion:26}} and I have never found a better time/ season than this current one. I am having so much fun ( and wrecking people with my "off-picks" ) that I can't wait to see what is next. I am excited for the keystone mastery balance to bring more viability than thunderlords ;) (Fervor {{champion:10}} is real) #Love
