That sounds like a ridiculous statement. Sir he literally just said it's not entirely based on income in the first sentence. Internet costs and speeds vary between areas. In some areas someone could pay $200 dollars for 500mb internet (Which is insane). I'm sure you made this post because your were salty about people with poor connections in game. But please mind the following things: * Internet providers can run into problems with your router that causes connection issues. Technology isn't perfect. * The NA server includes people from Canada. Some people in Canada live far up north and may get 100 - 150 ping even with top tier internet. * Internet is affected by blackouts. There's many other points I could include. If your point is that Riot should only ban poor people and are very serious about this here's the issues with that: * Class Discrimination. Not only would it not sit well with media but there is no real reliable way to put this in terms of service. Requiring minimum income wouldn't work because of people who can sustain themselves in other ways or live with roommates would get caught in this. Including certain pro-players, streamers, and youtubers as they often don't have fantastic income but live with roommates. This game is also 13+ and not all teenagers have jobs. There would also be no way to monitor this income. * Overall it's anti-consumer. * Why? You linked a Wikipedia link as the definition of poor. I briefly checked the link and read it claiming low class were people who required public assistance as their source of income. Likely referring to begging or street performing. I doubt these people could get there hands on a computer and even if they did I doubt they would be able to reach even lvl 30. This post in general is a mess.

You are demonizing someone for trying to make a living. Your point is true about there being Youtubers who do make videos as a hobby, but that's because they all have well paying full time jobs to lean on. A lot of Youtubers don't, and as I said he wouldn't be able to make as the same videos he does now if he does get a full time job (1 of 2 things would happen. Either not as many videos or videos with lower quality editing). Shooting someone down for making a living off of Youtube is extremely ignorant. That's not greed, that's making sure you don't have to eat bread crust for dinner. The analogy of you translating German is very bad and needs context. Are you translating for a friend, or for business? And a bit more on the demonetization thing. Would you be fine with losing a thousand dollars because of someone else's mistake? And would you keep trying to get that thousand dollars knowing that person is going to make the same mistake every time, or almost every time you try?

: My experience and opinion with the youtuber Trmplays
Dude I HATE people who shoot down Youtubers who have to think about their paycheck. For a lot of Youtubers, especially this one by the way you described him do Youtube as their full time job. Especially right now with the adpocalypse people are struggling. Videos get their most views in their first 24 hours, if a video get demonetized during this time, especially on smaller channels like this one, it really screws them over. This youtuber probably has gotten tons of offers for sponsors as well, but has declined them because he knows his fans don't want to see sponsored products unless he actually likes them. It's extremely selfish for you to try to shoot down a Youtuber for making a living. As for the likes thing, I doubt he has a bot for that cause he gets no benefit from doing so, maybe he just likes them for the sake of liking them? Not sure. Either way he is a content creator and as he said it's either that or eating cat food. Calling him out for making videos for only money is just disgusting. Do you really think he can make a high quality video every two days while having a well paying job outside of Youtube? How ignorant are you? Editing is extremely times consuming and I wouldn't doubt if he stays up at night on some days editing to release on schedule. Honestly shame on you.

If people felt its complexity was hindering it, then league would be declining and other MOBA's would be passing it up. This is not the case. HotS and Paladins are both still on their upswing. League didn't reach a state of ubiquitous notoriety until a good three years after its release. You're directly comparing a game that's been out for around a decade to a game that's been out what, three years? This is likely because more people want to actually _play_ HotS. Due to its **statistical simplicity**, it's **more accessible to play** and doesn't require sitting idle and _watching_ weeks worth of streams and tournaments to learn how to play it to decent effect. It takes me about a minute and a half on average to find a League game in blind pick. In HotS, where you pick your hero first and teams are automatically balanced with a selection of roles, meaning matchmaking has to find people within your MMR, who are also not playing the hero you are, who are ALSO not playing a role you're playing... It takes me _upwards_ of 35 seconds to find a game. Looking at practical data, I really think HotS has a stronger player base than you're giving it credit for. I'm not saying it's as strong as League's (yet), but it doesn't have to be. Horizon Zero Dawn pushed less copies than GTA V, but it was still a great game that a lot of people really enjoyed. And I'm not saying League is a garbage game. At first, it too was a game Riot threw together to get a piece of the MOBA pie, which was a concept first popularized within a Blizzard property. This is true. But it's since come into its own and is a legitimately fun game, but for balance issues. Those balance issues get harder and harder to fix as they add more crap under the hood. This is all I'm saying.

This is true. But it's since come into its own and is a legitimately fun game, but for balance issues. Those balance issues get harder and harder to fix as they add more crap under the hood. This is all I'm saying. Honestly I highly doubt HoTS will kill League. I got quite decent at the game for a bit after I bought the origins edition of Overwatch (decided to try the free tracer). But after coming back to League I can say that the difference in quality is enormous. While yes it is simpler, it relies on your teammates being decent even more than League does from what I've seen. (Your team shares level). That in itself keeps one person from rising above the rest in carrying. The lack of items keeps away from silly build potentials that can keep the game refreshing and saved me from quitting league completely multiple times. I could go on forever with my issues with HoTS. But I'll end it off by agreeing that it pretty much is just something Blizzard threw together to get a piece of the MOBA pie. Heck I would've been surprised if they didn't make it. The game basically screams quick cash grab. None of the characters have original abilities, they take from the games they're from. I'm not trying to shoot the game down for that, because it only makes sense. I'm just pointing out that the game can work with a really low budget because of this fact.
: A champion permanent doesn't mean you own the champion, a champion permanent is a hextech crafting item that when activated will give you ownership of the champion. For example, when you get a 'level up capsule' and open it you receive a champion permanent. If you have a champion permanent of the champion you want to upgrade to mastery 6 or 7 you can choose to use that instead of a shard or essence, which is what the option you are talking about does.

Actually I'm gonna correct you on that one. The level capsules give you champion SHARDS. As far as I know there is no longer a way to get a champion permanent. You originally got them from rerolling three champion shards and if you owned all the champions it would give you a random permanent champion item. They wouldn't remove the option since some people still have these items.

: Oh Look TY For More Teemo and Riven Skins
While I understand the Riven skin, Beemo? Really? People asked for this skin. Riot doesn't make Beemo: "OMG Riot doesn't listen to what that community wants" Riot makes Beemo: "OMG another Teemo skin wtf Riot?" I, for one, am very excited about Beemo and plan to purchase it day one.

: About Orange Essence, It's a little low
Sir when you get a legendary skin shard or above now, it automatically enchants without any orange essence. Don't know what you're complaining about. Since the only skin shards that you can still get and enchant are around 1500 orange essence to enchant, making skin shards give a lot of orange essence would lose em a lot of money. Chests have always been easy to get if you play well or queue with people and keys are easy to get if you're friendly. Seems fair to me.

Except it is also Riot's responsibility. They do not have complete control over account security. If their account gets hacked while they take a break from League, that's on Riot for not securing the account info well enough.

: > But Riot has admitted that ADCs are too strong right now Source needed. >Zed may be too strong as his W Q combo can do more damage than the average ult too early. Neither of those are true and his Q is a skill shot. Add to that how negated his entire kit is the moment you buy Armor or have a comp built around tanks and he's perfectly balanced. >He feels like he outtrades anyone in lane unless you screw up right now. Yasuo definitely doesn't out trade anyone in lane. Try him vs Nasus top and tell me he wins lane. Malz also countered him hard in mid (unless somethings changed, haven't played Malz into Yasuo in a while).

Malz also countered him hard in mid (unless somethings changed, haven't played Malz into Yasuo in a while). https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-discussion/27mrj62T-give-us-an-update-of-whats-coming-this-mid-season-dont-leave-us-in-the-shadows?comment=0005 Woosh. I don't have the time to do all the math for Zed, but you know armor pen and lethality exist. You do realize he does full damage when hitting the same target with his shurikens now right (Not trying to be aggressive just genuinely curious)? Prior to the buff each shuriken after the first on a specific target would do 50% less damage. I have tried him against Nasus top, even if top is his offrole. As I said he feels too strong when running Conqueror specifically. The AD and true damage from it once it activates him gives him a pretty big boost. I did try to 1v1 my friend as Malz against his Yas at one point. Currently it seems like Malz vs. Yas is just a matchup of who fucks up first. It could just be me though. EDIT: I'm not saying Zed and Yasuo are in a state where they're "OMG TOO STRONG NERF RIGHT NOW IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH". They're in a state where they made need tweaking though.
: You haven't provided a single explanation as to why or how ADCs specifically are busted.

How did he not. He literally said a death causes his team to take a major hit when playing adc? EDIT: Grammar
: Zed isn't busted and ADCs aren't busted. Not until you explicitly explain how.
> [{quoted}](name=GinormousVner,realm=EUW,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=8JeRGr0g,comment-id=00010000,timestamp=2018-04-20T18:24:06.538+0000) > > Zed isn't busted and ADCs aren't busted. > > Not until you explicitly explain how. Well I don't want to get too deep into it. But Riot has admitted that ADCs are too strong right now, which is why they're changing up bot lane in the midseason patch. Zed may be too strong as his W Q combo can do more damage than the average ult too early. Yasuo as I said is in an odd place. I have him mastery 6 and have played him a decent amount and can solidly say he's likely too strong due to conqueror. He feels like he outtrades anyone in lane unless you screw up right now.
: I really hope Riot doesn't balance their game around the stuff people say on this board
Zed is in a spot where he may be too strong or may be too weak. Currently from my point of view, the Zed changes made him too strong. Yasuo is in a weird spot right now. He feels more overloaded then usual but I haven't played against him enough to know but he does feel strong to play as at the moment. I haven't seen any threads condemning Vayne, but adcs in general are busted right now. Vayne is just among the pool.

You said you go wherever you want, that made it seem like you didn't call a role and just went the lane you felt like going to at that time. If people are saying they're going to report you for getting your lane and quickly locking in, they're just idiots. If you got mid you shouldn't need to wait to lock in.

It is pronounced Ta-Lee-Yah. They pronounced it this way in their champion spotlight for her as well.
