With recent itemization especially to crit items adcs are stronger. The supports are no longer buffing the adcs to an extent like the Real Ardent meta. Now the Meta is resembling that same playstyle but its not the supports. Adc's do not rely on ardent in this meta and its true. Adc's now get ad faster and with faster games they hit power spikes that cause stat checks that other roles can't.

Thank you, for this post. IT did help a lot in seeing that the power isn't lulu when buffing an adc it is the adc that's just attacking faster do to what I think to be itemization and gold for ad.

Same principle as if a nami buffs a strong draven. Thank you though this example helped me see that you are correct that lulu yi is very viable. And that its not the support that makes the adc. Its the adc that makes the support.

Let's be very honest from the start: Riot wants to speed up the game. Be it Tencent, be it Korean cafe culture, be it the need to appeal to casuals/younglings, **that is their corporate decision and they will never back down to it.** They are slowly but deliberately doing it since 3 years. Systemic changes all lead to this very goal. To a certain degree, if this is the future they envision for the game, it is legit for them to pursue it. We might not like it, but that's fine. We can leave and cherish the good memories on lol, and move on. It is their game after all. The issue with speeding up the game is not the idea of speeding up the game, it is how incompetently it has been implemented. I believe that the best talents at Riot were moved to legends of runeterra development a long time ago. The clueless were left behind in charge of lol with the order to make the game faster, year by year... And the brightest way they came up with was to: - remove "tanking" as a concept - increasing damage - tenfolding snowball The quality of the game plummeted so fucking hard in S6, S7, and S8 it's unreal. **Games were decided solely by early advantages, macro play was non-existent, damage was the only thing that mattered and game were never won, but only lost by the worst player on either team**. They sped up the game by increasing every means of winning the game: turrets became paper, Baron became immense, lane phase shortened, midgame expanded, lategame disappeared, killing was frequent and rewarding. The game was utter shit, because it was standard league of legends, but with unbalanced and artificially bloated aspects. They're not going back. Never. But they have finally started band-aid fixing the problems arose with those years of forced acceleration. Turret plating extends lane, albeit artificially, albeit adding even extra snowball if taken down. But snowball itself is mitigated by high bounties, allowing a comeback, albeit, again, artificially. The game is still getting faster, but now there are new mechanics that account for it, and the game is far more fair and interesting.

: Well, not only the minions, but this supposed artificial elongation of laning with the turret armor doesn't seem to change much to me. Games still seem to happen just as quickly as they did before the preseason, and the turret armor only seems to add more options for snowballing, combined with the new bounty system that gets you a bounty for doing normal game things. Overall, this preseason is a huge dud and a huge letdown, it doesn't actually seem to fix any of the problems that have been talked about, and in a lot of cases, it exacerbates too many existing problems.

Yes but in comparison to last season if your inhibitor was down you could push the wave out and then rotate out but with the minion changes you are forced to stay in the lane.

But instead, humanity spends this time and money helping people without hands, or feet, or limbs, to function better in society. Because one day, that kid without hands might go on with their prosthetic appendages to author some society-shaping treatise. Or to compose music that alters a generation's mindset. Or to be a superb firefighter who saves dozens of lives. Abandoning the weak is nonsense, and wolves recognized this ages before humans did. Fortunately, humans are catching on.
