It's probably a good thing his dad is managing his money, as far as I have read his dad does have Faker's best interest at heart, so by retirement he is probably gonna be literally set for life. Also 3 mil for Faker who is estimated to make that every year is probably not that much money for housing for his whole family, boy the mom must feel real stupid about now haha

: Suggestion for decreasing disparity between Key and Chest acquisition rates for some players
Currently I have 40 boxes and no keys, this is not gonna help me at all :/ I was Honor 5 within 2 months last season and I am currently 3.1 so I don't think that's the problem either, it's just that you have to play SO MANY games to acquire the maximum amount of keys, on the other hand you can acquire the chest in literally one game, no joke most of the time I get the chest in 1 to 3 games with a particular champion, max 5 or 6, the only real limitation is the one every seven days. Further, even if you were maximizing your key production, you still get less keys than chests per month, keys are cap at 12 fragments per month(4 keys) chests are 1 per 7 days, that's 4 every 28, you can see how they would accumulate. Let me end this on a very positive note, you can now acquire keys even when losing games, it was dreadful when you HAD to win to get keys, now it's just for fun.
: You added on context to it that I was not referring to. If 3 people vote yes, one person votes no and a 5th person doesn't vote, that equals out to a non-surrender. Even if 3 people voted yes and 2 outright voted no, this should still be a surrender, otherwise you are forcing 3 people to play for the enjoyment of two, that just doesn't make sense. Majority should rule, otherwise what's the point of even having a vote option?
Assuming that the person who did not vote would've voted yes is not a correct thing to do. And no majority rule as far as surrendering isn't the point. You agree to play the game when you join, surrendering should require the vast majority to do so.

: Though I don't have as many chests as you are am not honored I used to get a lot of keys. Now I don't get any keys and I play a TON of games. Even if I do get a key (it's probably been a month know) it's only a fragment. So at at this rate I am getting a key fragment every month (1/3 key) so I get a total of 4 chests a year that are free for skin SHARDS? Oh wow so excited. What's the point? There is none.

It doesnt really matter that you play a ton, the system is design so each subsequent Fragment is exponentially harder, resetting every month. This makes it so even if you play a ton you won't get that many more keys than a casual player. I won't comment on your honor status as that is not my place. But if you get to open Chests at the pace that I open them(like 30 a year) you do get some pretty decent totals, mostly Champion Shards but damn that's like 30k of Blue Essence! My point is that you can earn Chests substantially faster than Keys and you're NEVER gonna open them because of how the Key Drop Rate works.

: PLEASE RIOT TELL ME WHAT TO DO BETTER
Those are not very good stats, the best score you had was 602 which is not very impressive when your team got 25 kills, kill participation % matters for your score, participating in tower/inhib/dragon kills also matters which I can't tell if you did or not from your match history. Basically you need about 50% Kill participation minimum, a very low death count relative to your team, 0 deaths is not as impressive when you team died 6 times, if you team had died 20 times yet you died 0 times it be more impressive, your damage to champions was extremely low as well, not only relative to your team but just flat out low, last hitting seems pretty good don't see anything wrong there. Don't take what I am saying as criticism I am just trying to tell you what you need to do to get the S you want.

: This All Star Team Makes No Sense
Jensen and Bjer are equivalent, they are just better at different things. Mechanically Bjer it's better, he plays better in low stress environments such as regular Splits and such, however Jensen CLEARLY can handle pressure much better than Bjer, if shit hits the fan Jensen is the man to have. This in my opinion is a matter of styles, Bjer plays not to lose, hence why in low stress he performs well and can get away with no pro-activity, however Jensen plays to win, this meas more mistakes to be exploited in a low stress environment but more possibilities to exploit mistakes made during high stress environments. This is supported by what each player has excel during their careers, Bjer clearly outperforms Jensen in the LCS, consistently delivering for his team, but crashing and burning in World every single time. Jensen on the other hand is good in the LCS but not better than Bjer but at Worlds? Clearly the best NA has to offer, this pattern will continue, TSM will win NA LCS but C9 will again perform better at Worlds, this will be in no small part due to their respective Mid Laners.

This argument is just wrong. From 2001 onwards NFL was won by Ravens defense, Brady, Buccaneers defense, Brady, Brady, Roethlisberger, P.Manning, Giants defense (beating in SB an almost perfect season Brady team), Roethlisberger, Brees, Rodgers, Giants defense, Ravens defense (Ray Lewis), Seattle defense, Brady, P.Manning, Brady. Franchising is very good for NA because of their scene peculiarities...EU just had different peculiarities and must be given a different system while retaining the support and advantages NA is getting Your line of reasoning is bad because you are saying Riot should basically ignore the differences between EU and NA even if you acknowledge them and you shouldn't do anything to make them recognize them or change their minds and they should just force upon EU a system that does not fit their strengths and features but was tailor made for NA needs, making the region weaker since they would lose the competitive advantages they actually have over other scenes

This is the point you're missing, more teams will be competitive because their resources will be similar and each year the shitty teams will be able to acquire the fresh talent before the big teams, in a relegation team that just doesnt happen, bigger teams get more resources and they get first pick on fresh talent and continue to grow to infinity.

The issue with the relegation system vs franchising it's not about quality it's about finances, it is clear that there is more money to be made in a franchised system and that it is more competitive as teams have similar resources to fight for contracts, for example: The Spanish Soccer league is based on a relegation system that means only the best teams are in the league at all time this is true, however you have some teams ALWAYS dominating the team, the more they win the more they make and with that they get the money to purchase even better players and win some more it creates a circle where only the top teams get the talent, this can clearly be seen in EU with G2 completely dominating the league and Fnatic doing so before them with only Alliance breaking anyone's streak. Compare that with the NFL, sure you can argue that the best teams are NOT always on the league but because of revenue sharing and the draft system(which NA is getting in a quasi way) talent is evenly divided and rarely do you see a team dominate year after year, hell you almost never even see 2 Superbowls in a row. What Riot is hoping is to reproduce this and have more than 3 competitive teams in NA, not in a single season but throughout the years. Look I'm not saying Franchising is the best way, but it does have it's merits and we need to recognize those to have an honest conversation on what's best for league. Further, our opinion on which is better is irrelevant that's up to Riot and they don't care about what you or I think they care what investors think.

: EU LCS Franchising
According to Riots original release it sure sounds like it will be extremely similar to NA, further they already move to a gaming format that matches NA and got rid of Relegation for this off-season. Altho it hasnt been stated I would imagine that there will be 10 teams to be franchised at a particular fee, which I would assume would be around NA's seeing that 4 EU teams applied in NA.(Meaning they had the 10m to franchise) Look I'm not arguing with you guys if this is going to happen or if it's a good thing, Riot decides that. What I want to know is who are you guys expecting to get the franchise spots, who do you think is at risk and which clubs you think will buy a slot into the LCS in the way that NBA teams bought 3 LCS slots. The idea that IP was consumer friendly is ridiculous you got about 100 IP per match(being generous) that is 63 matches per expensive Champion, that is not easy, that doesnt "feel good", that is awful and grindy as hell. This is a clear case of people expecting the change to make getting champs easy, finding out it's about the same and feels just as bad and raging about it. People is romanticizing of 63 matches per champ, this is crazy....
: Nope. Franchise is a terrible idea for EU. EU has a wider talent pool and a lot of good local amateur/semipro/lower level pro organization and a developed competitive underwood + a lot of untapped potential to attract sport teams partnership/ownership, it make no sense to kill these players/orgs/tournament organizers that are the foundation at the basis of EU scene. Give more money, more exposure, more meaning to a new revamped CS and expand and strengthen ERLs system to create a more solid promotion/relegation system like the traditional structure of EU sports, but just DO NOT FRANCHISE EU

I like relegation I really do, it makes it so even huge names can be crush if they perform badly and it makes everyone put at least some effort at all times, but investors do not like it, and for this to grow we need investors. Anyway like I say no point in arguing Franchising has already been decided for EU, it's just a matter of who is in and who is out I think G2, Fnatic, Misfits and after reading some more Splyce are all but guaranteed their spot, I just want my Unicorns to make it :( it'd be pretty sad if H2K doesnt make it either.

People are exaggerating, you get slightly more BE if you play a little(like the original poster and more importantly ME) and slightly less if you play like a madman. It's just that people would rather FEEL good than to have the mathematically effective system, not me I am all about that math so gimme my extra 10~100BE every month lol Honestly I am very sad about the changes to First Win, like 50 BE is NOT gonna offset 175exp mathematically speaking, but it is going to FEEL better so the mob will be happy :/ Changes to OE are inexcusable tho, and their reasoning is literally "We need to make money" so I won't defend that.

: It took me 5 seasons to grind out all of the champs...
Agree, I been playing off and on since Season 4 and I only have like 70 champions. People doesnt realize that their currency gain will be about the same it's just that their rewards are delayed and concentrated as opposed to dripping. This is particularly true for people like me, I barely play 1 or 2 games every day or two so to me the value of Win of the Day went drastically up ergo my income went drastically up lol
: Honestly I don't understand why anyone would pay for Hextech loot. The reduced value to Orange Essence is probably my only complaint. And I am sure that if its a big enough problem Riot will adjust the numbers. Just tired of the constant hate towards Riot. Sure they screw up sometimes, but they actually offer quite alot to players for free. This is a business and the whole point is to be profitable. So as long as I can load into a match have fun and slowly grind to get more free stuff I will be satisfied. Dont get me wrong, I am sick of the way micro transactions and dlc work in games these days. I miss the times when I could buy an awesome complete game and just enjoy it. Now half the stuff is locked behind loot crates, dlc that comes out the day of the main release. It sucks. But League is little different, you aren't forced to spend. Anyway there is my rant lol.
Then you agree with me, my only complain is Orange Essence reduction, that seem explicitly made to make Loot Boxes less RP efficient which seems crazy to me, they SHOULD(and were) be more RP efficient than outright buying what you want, because you're getting random stuff and are not guaranteed to even get something you like. I purchased A LOT of Hextech crafting stuff and obviously I disenchanted everything I didn't like before the patch, so the changes didn't make me lose any current value however I can assure you the changes will discourage me from buying anymore. Which is kind of my point, it feels like a change design to make people purchase more loot boxes than they would otherwise need but business wise I can't see this working out the way Riot seem to expect.
: Hextech......wait that allows us to collect keys and chests to get free content (don't need to pay for it). Honor.......no no that gives us the occasional honor capsule and also plays a part in end of season rewards for more free content. Oh and don't forget the end of season rewards which rewards players based on their achievements. Or the reward every time we level up now. And all the free game modes, champion updates, reworks.......
Sure that's all nice, but it does not explain why the value of SKIN shards was lowered, the only real way to get them is by purchasing them with real money and a negligible amount obtain in Mastery Chest(which btw are different from RP Chest and have a lower rate for skins). The change to Orange Essence feels wrong, people paid money for those skin shards and they are losing value for no stated reason, it just is, I can tell you that I personally won't purchase anymore Hextech crafting loot, it's mathematically inefficient to do so compared to purchasing what I like, before it was random, sure, but mathematically you were getting marginally more than you would by picking and choosing what to purchase specially in special events.
: Aren’t you supposed to have a greater chance of getting boxes now?
You mean the boxes from Mastery? Because as far as I know those are the only way to get skin shards without paying money. They did not, it is still cap and 1 per week and once per champion each season which is honestly irrelevant to me anyways(and I am sure for most people as I am an average player) I get them as they become available and have 31 in stock because the key fragment gain is so low it can't keep up lol

Please update this to include "requires pre-made of 5" on the all melee mission. It was such a pain to get that done just to find out you must do it as a pre-made of 5, which this article does NOT state.
