I recommend you swap over and continue to use the Legacy Client for now, to avoid further penalties and occurrences of this. Steve is correct, you couldn't be playing on an older patch, as the servers won't allow you to login until it's verified that you're running the most recent update. It's possible that it's simply a visual bug, which you may be able to resolve by running a quick repair by hitting the cog (gears) icon in the top-right corner of the client before starting the repair from that menu. : Its lag, not my fps I know that for sure. My internet is the most frustrating thing ever and what makes it worse is that I have no idea what causes it or why it does what it does. Usually I have like 3 people streaming video maybe more but usually 3. My router has such strange behaviour, and it basically tricks me into thinking its working fine, and then doesn't work at all. 1. When I disconnect from my wifi, I cannot reconnect at all unless I restart my router. 2. Randomly the speed of my internet goes down massively for all devices, to the point where I can't even watch a youtube video without it buffering every 30 seconds. 3. When the Wifi is working fine, I'll go into a league game and enjoy 60 ping for 5 minutes before it starts spiking, disconnecting me, and making it so I simply can't even move at all. And then when the game ends, my ping goes back down to 60. 4. I can't change it to a wired network, because I play on my laptop which is in a room next door to the router 5. When I ping my router, I get 1-5 ms with a rare spikes going up to 15, which I think is normal. 6. I've tried every possible fix on the internet, and nothing works. I don't think its interference, because it used to work perfectly before, and it still works fine every once in a blue moon. I've disabled my firewall, changed my DNS, anything at all that should help but nothing even lowers my ping by one.
Do you experience any of these issues if nobody else is using your network while you play League? If so, then I'd like you to run a traceroute log using [**WinMTR**](http://winmtr.net/) so we can determine if there are any issues within your network routing. After loading up the application, you simply need to plug **104.160.131.1** into the host field before starting the trace. : My ping stays at 20 (which people say is really good) and i do see my champion running. But It's not smooth, and kinda like a groggy feeling. When i use my abilities the animations aren't smooth . I don't have this motion stopping and then catching up, it's just that it's laggy and it's kinda why i tend to avoid teamfights because I just can't control my champ and the abilities well with the lag. My FPS at the beginning of the game is like 100 which is fine, and i like to 1 v 1 because i get no lag, but then it's the teamfight that causes the problems. ( I also do get the same lag sometimes even when I'm not in teamfights. no idea why)

: Thank you for getting back to me on this topic. I see Comcast xfinity is on your ISP peer list so I would think the ping would be even less if they have already done this. Could it be due to a firewall through windows or Norton internet security that slows the package in transit? It seems there is little I can do to reduce ping, but I wanna make sure I do what I can to get the package in transit as fast as possible. Just have had a hard time knowing what to do.
